Jacy Jayne to explain her actions on WWE NXT

WWE is set to follow up on the implosion of Toxic Attraction.

One week after turning against her tag team partner Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne will explain her actions on NXT this Tuesday night. Jayne attacked Dolin during a “Ding Dong, Hello” segment on the most recent episode of NXT.

WWE.com wrote:

The shocking implosion of Toxic Attraction has sent a shockwave throughout NXT, and now one of the women involved will speak about what happened.

Jacy Jayne, the Superstar who attacked her former tag team partner Gigi Dolin and kicked her through a door during ‘Ding Dong, Hello!,’ will talk about why she committed such a heinous act.

What will Jayne have to say for herself? Tune in to NXT at 8/7 C on Tuesday on USA to find out!

Jayne and Dolin came up short when they challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship in a triple threat match at NXT Vengeance Day. It appeared that they had worked through their issues and would remain a team after talking it over on “Ding Dong, Hello,” but Jayne blindsided Dolin with a superkick. Jayne then threw Dolin head-first into a door and kicked her in the face.

Dolin posted the following photo after Jayne’s attack:

Tiffany Stratton vs. Thea Hail and Axiom vs. Damon Kemp have also been added to the card for Tuesday’s NXT. The updated lineup for the show is listed below:

  • Jacy Jayne explains her actions
  • Bron Breakker returns
  • Meiko Satomura & Roxanne Perez vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance
  • Hank Walker vs. Charlie Dempsey
  • Wes Lee open challenge for the NXT North American Championship
  • Tyler Bate vs. Grayson Waller
  • Tiffany Stratton vs. Thea Hail
  • Axiom vs. Damon Kemp

WWE NXT live results: Women’s Championship Summit

With Vengeance Day under two weeks away, the build to the special continues on NXT tonight.

A Women’s Championship Summit will take place ahead of Roxanne Perez vs. Gigi Dolin vs. Jacy Jayne at Vengeance Day. Perez, Dolin, and Jayne will sign the contract for their triple threat title match.

Bron Breakker and Grayson Waller will meet in a steel cage match for the NXT Championship at Vengeance Day. Tonight, WWE will follow up on a social media angle from earlier this week where Waller confronted Breakker at the Performance Center. A brawl broke out after Waller threw water bottles at Breakker.

The NXT Women’s Tag Team titles will be on the line tonight as Alba Fyre challenges Katana Chance & Kayden Carter in a handicap match. Plus, Tiffany Stratton returns to the ring against Indi Hartwell, Wendy Choo faces off with Elektra Lopez, and there will be a Chase U award ceremony to celebrate Thea Hail’s first win.

Our live coverage starts at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

**********

The show starts with clips of videos posted online showing the social media angle. Edited together is video captured by Waller himself and others in the PC when the angle is shot.

Tiffany Stratton defeated Indi Hartwell

Stratton pinned Hartwell in a grudge match, which was set up last week during a skit where Hartwell, on behalf of the women’s locker room, objected to Stratton having her own personal dressing room. Thus, they have a match with Hartwell looking to teach Stratton some respect for the rest of the locker room. However, the heel wins on this night.

After a comeback, Hartwell is doing well when Stratton starts selling her leg. She sells big, and Hartwell backs away thinking Stratton is hurt. Cue Admiral Ackbar hollering, “It’s a trap!” Indeed it was a trick by Stratton. She hits Hartwell with a cheapshot, and Stratton does a double springboard Super Crazy moonsault. Stratton then covers Hartwell for a three count.

Is Toxic Attraction splitting up? Stay tuned.

Jacy Jayne has apparently turned on her Toxic Attraction tag team partner, according to an interview with McKenzie Mitchell. Jayne accidently hit Gigi Dolan in a tag match last week, but tonight Jayne calls that an awakening for herself. Jayne also claims she carried Dolan since the day they formed Toxic Attraction.

Mitchell asks Jayne what to expect tonight for the championship summit. Jayne replies, “Something you have never seen before.”

Drew Gulak’s students are training with Diamond Mine. Hank Walker is also there watching on while wearing jeans and a long sleeve button down shirt. Heck of an attire to train in.

The students are grappling with the Creed Brothers, and Gulak chews them out over a lackluster performance. Gulak demands to roll, so Julius steps up to grapple with him. Julius sweeps Gulak’s leg, and an angry Gulak explodes with rage. He accuses Creed of taking a cheapshot. This sets up a tag match for later tonight.

Chase U Awards Ceremony

An in-ring skit featured Thea Hail being recognized and rewarded for her first win on television from last week. The ring is decorated like a graduation ceremony, and Andre Chase is delivers a speech honoring Hail.

Chase curses, which is bleeped. Chants of “that’s not P-G” come from the live studio audience. They then chant for Hail as she is presented with an award. Hail gives an acceptance speech when she is interrupted by the entrance of JD McDonagh.

McDonagh cuts a promo burying the ceremony. Hail gets so angry with him she has to be held back by Duke Hudson. McDonagh tries to tease dissension between Hudson and Chase. This leads to a match, and Chase luckily came prepared with his gear on under his robe. He decks McDonagh, who then takes a bump out of the ring, and the fight is on after a commercial break. The match is joined in progress.

JD McDonagh defeated Andre Chase (with Thea Hail & Duke Hudson)

McDonagh pinned Chase after Hudson storms off seemingly in disgust with Chase.

McDonagh works over Chase, before a comeback by Chase. Double down when McDonagh lands a head butt. McDonagh goes for a finisher, but Chase counters into a Canadian Destroyer. McDonagh gets his foot on the rope to break the count for a near fall.

Chase is crotched after climbing to the top rope. Hudson had seen enough. He leaves in apparent disgust. Chase is then given McDonagh’s “Devil Inside” finisher, and McDonagh scores a pinfall.

Fallon Henley & Kiana James (with Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen) defeated Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley

Henley pinned Nile to win the match, thanks in part to James’ heel tactics. Henley worked as a babyface, but her odd couple tag partner still cheated to win.

James illegally interferes several times. She throws Nile to the match, and James also trips Nile. James then runs around the ring where she grabs Paxley’s legs, keeping her from making a save. Henley delivers a shining wizard on Nile, and Henley pins Nile.

NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day are in the locker room with Malik Blade and Edris Enofe. They ask New Day for a title shot at Vengeance Day. In walks The Schism to interrupt them. This leads to an announcement of The New Day Tag Team Invitational for next Tuesday on NXT, pitting Blade and Enofe against The Dyad to determine the next challengers.

Apollo Crews goes to same barbershop featured several times on the show. It is a usual spot for Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, and they walk in just as Crews gets in the barber chair. Hayes is angry, and he yells at Crews. Hayes then sits down for a face-to-face promo exchange where they bicker back-and-forth. This leads to Crews challenging Hayes to a two-out-of-three falls match at Vengeance Day. This is a rubber match between the two, and it is now officially announced for the NXT supercard.

The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) defeated Drew Gulak & Hank Walker

Brutus pinned Walker in a rough and tumble tag match.

The match goes through a commercial break, and it was a slobberknocker at times during the bout. The Creeds did a wicked double team spot with a delayed butterfly suplex and a leapfrog.

Walker is shining when he is cut off by the Creeds. Nevertheless, Walker uses an armbar at one point after having learned it from Gulak.

The Creeds are looking to double team Walker after Charlie Dempsey walks down to ringside. Walker is distracted by Dempsey’s being there, and Walker falls victim to a Brutus Bomb. Brutus then pinned Walker.

The Creeds thanks Ivy Nile in a post-match promo. They thank her for staying with them and inspiring them. However, they are soon interrupted by Jinder Mahal and Indus Sher. Mahal challenges the Creeds to a match next week, and Nile speaks for the Creeds by accepting the match. Maybe next Tuesday we finally see a match that has been teased for weeks.

McKenzie Mitchell interviews Gigi Dolan, who is holding a rose. Dolan calls Jacy Jayne a “bad person” before vowing to give a “piece of my mind” later tonight.

Elektra Lopez defeated Wendy Choo

Lopez pinned Choo after using brass knux. Choo was making a comeback when Lopez pulls out the knux.

Valentina Feroz was at ringside watching the match, at the suggestion of Lopez. Feroz watches on as Lopez pulls out brass knux. Choo goes for her version of the Muta elbow handspring, but Lopez nails Choo with the brass knux. Lopez then scores a tainted pinfall. Feroz did not like the cheating tactic.

Briggs & Jensen are backstage talking with Fallon Henley. She asks what is next for Briggs & Jensen now that her issue with James is settled. Jensen says he has it figured out, and he even pitched a match to Shawn Michaels.

Jensen got Henley and Kiana James booked in a title match against NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. The match is set for Vengeance Day, but Henley is upset that Jensen did not ask her first before pitching the idea. Henley leaves saying she has to think about it. This skit somewhat spoils the women’s tag title match later on as they champs are being booked for a title defense before they retain tonight.

Stevie Turner debuts in the ring next week. She makes the announcement about her in-ring debut as part of what is supposed to be an interview with McKenzie Mitchell. Turner does the interview via skype, and Turner only takes questions from super chat followers. Turner heels on Mitchell.

Champion and challenger clash in a pull-apart brawl

Grayson Waller comes to the ring to call out NXT Champion Bron Breakker. Waller is wearing his replica version of the NXT title belt. Waller is cutting a promo on Breakker as Breakker makes his way through the backstage area. Breakker is headed to the ring, and he roughs up some security on the way in a fit of rage.

The men’s locker room empties as everyone tries to stop Breakker, but Breakker pushes past the crowd, and he slides into the ring. Breakker and Waller tie up, and they have a pull apart brawl. They are separated and held back, but they keep trying to fight each other.

Breakker crashes through a gimmicked barricade when he goes to spear Waller, who moves out of the way. Breakker sells like he is out cold. Meanwhile, Waller smirks.

NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter & Katana Chance defeat Alba Fyre & Sol Ruca to retain their titles

Billed originally as a two-on-one match, Fyre was supposed to be alone, without a partner, against the champions. Just as the bell sounds to start the match, Sol Ruca comes to ring to be Fyre’s tag partner. Fyre and Ruca were looking strong as a team as the show cuts to a commercial break.

The champs fight back after the show returns from the break. In a bit of irony, Ruca is left alone after Fyre is sent crashing into the ring steps. Fyre was alone at the start, but not Ruca is by herself with Fyre down selling. Carter and Chance execute their tandem finisher on Ruca, and Chance pins Ruca to win the match.

Isla Dawn appears after the match as Fyre walks past her. Fallon Henley and Kiana James suddenly also appear, and they are on perch looking over the ring. Henley says she thought about it, and she decided to team again with James. The women’s tag title match is set for Vengeance Day.

NXT North American Champion Wes Lee confronts Dijak in a pre-tape skit. This was done to hype their title match at Vengeance Day.

Cora Jade is being interviewed by McKenzie Mitchell when Mitchell gets word there is something happening in the parking lot. Cut to outside the building, and Nikkita Lyons is the victim of a Tonya Harding angle. An unknown assailant attacked Lyons, injuring her leg.

In a comedy skit, Duke Hudson reveals that he got him and Andre Chase booked for the New Day Tag Team Invitational, which is now a triple threat tag match.

Toxic swerve ends the championship summit

Booker T hosts the talking segment with Toxic Attraction seated at a table across from each other. They look mad. NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez joins them at the table.

Dolan and Jayne bicker amongst themselves, and they insult each other. Perez chimes in to say “karma is a toxic bitch.” Perez goes on to vow she retains at Vengeance Day. Dolan and Jayne scream at each other some more.

Things seem to get heated, so Dolan and Jayne get in each other’s face. They look ready to fight, but they pause. Dolan and Jayne smirk as they glance over at Perez. Toxic Attraction then jump Perez. They beat her down, and they put Perez through a table.

It was all a swerve. There is no dissension in Toxic Attraction. At least not right now. Dolan and Jayne both hold up the women’s title belt as the show goes off the air.

WWE NXT live results: Fallout from New Year’s Evil

Tonight on NXT is the fallout from New Year’s Evil.

New Year’s Evil ended with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne both becoming the number one contenders to Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship. Dolin and Jayne simultaneously won a 20-woman battle royal in last week’s main event. They’ll challenge for Perez’s title in a triple threat match at NXT Vengeance Day on Saturday, February 4.

Tonight, Dolin and Jayne will speak about their number one contender status.

NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Grayson Waller will address their title match from last week, which ended with Breakker retaining by countout after the ropes broke. Breakker will again defend the NXT title against Waller at Vengeance Day — but this time it will be inside of a steel cage.

Plus, Apollo Crews & Axiom team up against Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams, Tyler Bate returns, Alba Fyre takes on Sol Ruca, and Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen face off with Gallus.

Our live coverage starts at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

**********

The show begins with a highlights recapping New Year’s Evil.

Opening the show live from the soundstage at the Performance Center is the entrance of Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Spoofing Axiom, Trick came out wearing a luchador mask. He pantomimes a pose that mocks Axiom.

The babyface duo of Apollo Crews and Axiom are next to enter. What follows is a tag team match kicking off the show, which was set up last week on the previous episode.

Apollo Crews & Axiom defeated Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes

Crews pinned Hayes in a good tag match. If the match was designed to make Crews looks like a superstar, it seemingly worked because he got to shine.

The tag bout goes through a commercial break. Crews assists Axiom in doing a dive just before the show cuts to commercial. Military pressing Axiom, Crews sends him flying to the outside. Axiom and Hayes are in the ring when the show returns from the break, and they clothesline each other for a double down.

Double down leads into a sequence of double team spots. Dust settles and Axiom is getting worked over by Hayes and Williams. Hot tag to Crews, and he cleans house. Williams jumped to break up a near fall, so Axiom flew in to take out Williams moments before the finish.

Hayes jumps off the top rope as they go home. “Nothing But Net” is blocked by Crews. Cazadora is countered by Crews, and he holds down Hayes for a three count.

A skit with Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on a bridge overlooking water. Stacks thinks he is going to sleep with the fish because of him screwing up last week. Instead, D’Angelo says he is no longer an a “soldier.” Stacks is now an “underboss” in D’Angelo’s mob family.

Indi Hartwell takes Tiffany Stratton’s personal dressing room from her. Hartwell makes it a locker room for all of the NXT women’s roster. Stratton is very upset over this, and she cuts a promo on Hartwell.

Setting up tonight’s main event tag match

The duo of Toxic Attraction is headed the ring where they address the audience. Gigi Dolan and Jacy Jayne were declared co-winners of a battle royal last Tuesday, and they are quite proud of themselves. They are also still seeking revenge on NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez.

Lyra Valkyria interrupts Toxic Attraction’s victory speech. Insults are hurled back and forth until Dolan and Jayne jump Valkyria. They are stomping on her when Perez runs in for a save. Toxic Attraction powders and flees. This angle sets up a main event tag team match for later tonight.

Stevie Turner continues her new role as a live streamer. Turner posts a reaction video where she breaks down the number one contender’s battle royal from last week.

Sol Ruca defeated Alba Fyre

Ruca pinned Fyre after a distraction by Isla Dawn. Ruca won using her new finisher called the “Sol Snatcher,” where she springboards off the middle rope into a flip and lands with a cutter on Fyre.

Clearly getting a push, Ruca on commentary was called “the fastest rising superstar in the [NXT] women’s division.”

Isla Dawn appears just before the finish on a perch overlooking the ring, and she laughs at Fyre for losing the match.

Grayson Waller sits down Vic Joseph for an interview where they discuss the finish of the NXT title match at New Year’s Evil. Waller lost by countout, by he seemingly had Breakker on the ropes. That is when a rope broke, leading to the Waller getting counted out.

Waller says he does not feel like he lost. In fact, Waller has his own replica version of the NXT title belt. Waller puts his belt over his shoulder as he vows to win the cage match at Vengeance Day against Breakker.

Alba Fyre is backstage about to pummel a referee with a her baseball bat.  NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter try to calm her down, which somehow leads to Fyre challenging Chance & Carter to a two-on-one tag title match.

A video package hypes Tyler Bate’s return later tonight.

Gallus (Joe Coffey & Wolfgang) defeated Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen (with Fallon Henley)

Gallus wins when Wolfgang pinned Briggs. An injury angle takes Jensen out of the match, and Briggs falls prey to a double team.

This match was set up last week when Gallus jumped Briggs and Jensen. Gallus then stole their spot in a tag match. Tonight they begin with a melee, as brawling breaks out at the start of this tag bout.

Gallus works over Jensen. Briggs tags in, and he is double teamed by Gallus while Jensen is down selling. Gallus teases suplexing Briggs on exposed concrete floor, but Briggs counter to suplex Coffey.

The match goes through a commercial break, and Briggs is getting worked over when the show returns from the break. Jensen tags back in, only to get worked over some more. Hot tag to Briggs, and he is a house of fire. Briggs dives off the apron.

Jensen is backdropped on the exposed concrete, which takes him out of the match. Briggs is alone against both of Gallus. He is stilling running wild when he finally notices Jensen is laid out at ringside. Fallon Henley is at his side waving for medical assistance. Kiana James comes out to check on Jensen, and she bickers with Henley.

Jensen says to get him to his feet. He is determined to continue the match, but Jensen is on rubber legs. Meanwhile, Gallus double teams Briggs, and he is pinned by Wolfgang.

Later in the trainer’s room, Henley storm in demanding to know “what the hell is she doing out there?” Jensen defends James, and Jensen argues with Henley about James.

A skit starts with Duke Hudson hyping up Thea Hail for her match tonight. An angry Andre Chase walks in to confront Hudson about a viral video that shows Hudson apparently running down Chase. Hudson claims he is being taken out of context, and he tries to change the subject by saying they need to focus on Hails match, which is up next.

Thea Hail (with Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) defeated Valentina Feroz

Lopez comes to ringside during the match. She only watches at first, but Lopez later puts brass knux on Feroz’s hand. Not looking to cheat, Feroz surrenders the knux to the referee. Hail counters seconds later, and Hail covers Feroz for the pinfall.

Apollo Crews confronts Carmelo Hays and Trick Williams in a skit outside the building. This was silly, and it was sadly followed by tragic real world news.

Vic Joseph and Booker T address breaking news about the passing of Jay Briscoe. Joseph offers condolences to his friends and family. I echo that. Personally, I was a big fan of Jay Briscoe and his brother Mark. They are both one of a kind. My heart breaks for Jay’s friends, family, and his children.

NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day come to the ring for a promo segment. Pretty Deadly interrupt them, and bickering ensues. Gallus enters after they are name-dropped by Pretty Deadly. Even more bickering ensues as Gallus focuses on New Day. Those two team square up, only for them to be attacked by Pretty Deadly. A melee then erupts. Referees and producers run down for a pull-apart. This would seem to set up a triple threat match for the tag titles.

Roxanne Perez and Lyra Valkyria are being interviewed by McKenzie Mitchell when Javier Bernal interrupts the interview. Bernal has a guitar, and he wants to perform some of his Christmas music. He is told to leave. This was supposed to be comedy.

NXT Champion Bron Breakker sits down with Vic Joseph for an interview about the finish at New Year’s Evil. Breakker also talks about defending his title in a cage match at Vengeance Day.

Javier Bernal is in the ring with his guitar and a microphone stand. In some ways, he is basically doing Elias’ old gimmick where he is about to sing when a babyface’s theme song cuts him off.

Tyler Bate defeated Javier Bernal

Bate pinned Bernal in what was a showcase for the returning Bate. Bernal got some offense, but not for long. Bate makes a quick comeback, and Bate wins easily. What does not come easy is the finish itself. They attempt a Tyler Driver ’97 but botch it, and they go for it again. Does not go well, but Bate cradles Bernal for the pinfall anyway.

Fallon Henley apologizes to Brooks Jensen for arguing with him earlier tonight. Henley agrees to give Kaina James a chance, and that includes as a tag team partner. Henley says she is booked next week in a tag match with James as her partner.

NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez & Lyra Valkyria defeated Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolan & Jacy Jayne)

Perez pinned Dolan to win the match. Cora Jade interferes during the match, causing Valkyria to leave the match to brawl with Jade. Perez overcomes being outnumbered, and Perez wins the match.

Heat on Perez, leading to a hot tag for Valkyria. Cora Jade runs down to ringside, and Jade shoves Valkyria off the top rope. Valkyria tags out, and then she dives to the outside. Valkyria and Jade brawl their way up the entrance ramp and off the soundstage.

Meanwhile, that leaves Perez alone in what is now essentially a two-on-one match. This is the second time that trope is being used on the show. Plus, another match with a stipulation of two-on-one is booked for next week. That is a lot of two-on-ones, but at least the finish of this match had a different outcome than the two-on-one earlier on the show. Namely, the bayface triumphs.

Perez is blindsided by Toxic Attraction, as she is kicked by Dolan. A second attempt at a kick backfires on Toxic Attraction, as Jayne inadvertently kicks Dolan. Perez goes on to deliver Pop Rocks, and Perez covers Dolan for a pinfall.

Alba Fyre vs. Jacy Jayne announced for WWE NXT

Alba Fyre is set to face off with a member of Toxic Attraction on this week’s episode of NXT.

WWE has announced that Fyre vs. Jacy Jayne will take place on NXT this Tuesday night. Fyre is currently feuding with Mandy Rose and appears to be the next challenger for Rose’s NXT Women’s Championship.

Fyre was originally scheduled to team with Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark in a six-woman tag match against Toxic Attraction (Rose, Jayne & Gigi Dolin) on NXT last week, but there was an angle where Fyre attacked Toxic Attraction in the parking lot and sped off in an SUV that Rose was in.

Lyons & Stark instead faced Jayne & Dolin in a tag team match on NXT last week. Lyons & Stark won the match to become the number one contenders to Katana Chance & Kayden Carter’s NXT Women’s Tag Team titles.

The build to Halloween Havoc will continue on NXT this week. The Halloween Havoc special is set for Saturday, October 22.

The updated lineup for Tuesday’s NXT is listed below:

WWE NXT (Tuesday, October 11) —

  • Non-title match: NXT Champion Bron Breakker vs. Javier Bernal (this match will kick off the episode)
  • Best-of-three series finale, Halloween Havoc North American Championship qualifying match: Nathan Frazer vs. Axiom
  • Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Wes Lee
  • Alba Fyre vs. Jacy Jayne

WWE has discussed calling up Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne to main roster

Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne could soon be coming up to the WWE main roster.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that there’s been talk of Dolin & Jayne moving from NXT to the main roster. Dolin & Jayne were in action on SmackDown two weeks ago, losing a tag team match against Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah.

“There has at least been talk of Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne moving to the main roster,” Meltzer wrote. “It’s been talked about for a while.”

Dolin & Jayne are part of Toxic Attraction with Mandy Rose in NXT. Rose is the current NXT Women’s Champion.

Dolin & Jayne have held the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles twice.

Last month, Dolin & Jayne also made a main roster appearance when they took part in WWE’s Women’s Tag Team title tournament. Dolin & Jayne replaced Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark in the tournament and defeated Natalya & Sonya Deville in the first round. But Dolin & Jayne then had to be pulled from the tournament due to Dolin suffering a concussion.

Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne appear on WWE SmackDown

Toxic Attraction returned to SmackDown, but failed to beat the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne appeared on Friday’s show, wrestling WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah. Mandy Rose, the other member of Toxic Attraction, was not there with them. However, they lost the match, Rodriguez scoring the win for her team after hitting the Tejana bomb on Jayne.

Jayne & Dolin appeared on SmackDown last month, defeating Natalya and Sonya Deville to advance to the next round of a tournament that would crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, they were removed after Dolin suffered an injury. Deville & Natalya won a four-way match to advance to the semifinals, where they lost to eventual winners Rodriguez & Aliyah.

Rose is the current NXT Women’s Champion. She unified the title with the NXT UK Women’s Championship at Worlds Collide last Sunday, defeating Meiko Satomura and Blair Davenport in a three-way match.

Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne advance in WWE Women’s Tag Team title tournament

Toxic Attraction have advanced to the next round of the WWE Women’s Tag Team title tournament.

On Friday’s SmackDown, Gigi Dolin and Jacey Jayne defeated Natalya and Sonya Deville. The finish of the match had Natalya go for the sharpshooter on Dolin, but didn’t notice that Dolin had tagged in Jayne, who then rolled up Natalya for the three count.

Dolin and Jayne now advance to the semifinals of the Women’s Tag Team title tournament. They will face Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez, who won their first round match last week after defeating Shotzi and Xia Li.

Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons were originally scheduled to be in Toxic Attraction’s spot. However, Dave Meltzer has reported that Zoey Stark suffered a concussion during her match against Mandy Rose at NXT Heatwave on Tuesday and was pulled from the match. The company also didn’t realize that Nikkita Lyons was not vaccinated and as a result was unable to cross the border into Canada, as Friday’s SmackDown took place in Montreal.

Shawn Michaels announced on social media Friday that Toxic Attraction would replace Stark and Lyons.

Roxanne Perez debuts on WWE NXT, defeats Jacy Jayne

Roxanne Perez, formerly Rok-C, made her first appearance on NXT tonight.

Perez was being interviewed when Toxic Attraction showed up and welcomed her to NXT, saying she shouldn’t set her expectations too high. Jacy Jayne didn’t like the way Perez responded and said instead of next week, her debut should be tonight. The two ended up having a match, with Perez scoring the win with a code red after a distraction from Wendy Choo on the video screen.

Prior to her interview, a vignette aired showing Perez talking about having a rough childhood but grew up playing WWE video games. The vignette originally said she would be debuting on next week’s show prior to the confrontation between Perez and Toxic Attraction.

WWE confirmed Perez’s signing in March. She originally made her debut on last week’s edition of NXT Level Up, defeating Sloane Jacobs.

Perez spent much of 2021 working for Ring of Honor, winning their Women’s World Championship in a tournament final. She lost the title earlier this year in Impact Wrestling to Deonna Purrazzo in a match that was also for the AAA Reina de Reinas title.

Women’s Tag Team title rematch set for WWE NXT

Toxic Attraction are getting a rematch for the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles.

WWE has announced that tonight’s Stand & Deliver fallout edition of NXT will feature a Women’s Tag Team Championship rematch with Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai defending their titles against Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne.

Gonzalez & Kai won the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles from Dolin & Jayne on the Stand & Deliver pre-show this past Saturday.

This is Gonzalez & Kai’s second reign as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. The two reunited on NXT last week when Gonzalez saved Kai from a beatdown by Toxic Attraction.

Toxic Attraction leader Mandy Rose retained her NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver, defeating Cora Jade, Io Shirai, and Kay Lee Ray in a fatal four-way match.

Here’s the full list of what’s been announced for tonight’s NXT:

  • We’ll hear from new NXT North American Champion Cameron Grimes
  • Nikkita Lyons vs. Lash Legend

Women’s Tag Team title match set for NXT Stand & Deliver pre-show

Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne will face the reunited Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez. This follows events that took place on tonight’s episode of NXT that saw Kai and Gonzalez reunite after a bitter rivalry.

Toxic Attraction came to the ring during tonight’s show and said that Wendy Choo and Kai had failed. They mentioned that they had beaten everyone and that there’s no teams left to face. Kai came out and attacked Toxic Attraction by herself, as Choo had been missing since the start of the show. The three beat down Dakota Kai until Gonzalez made the save, the two reuniting following a split that took place last year.

Toxic Attraction six-woman tag set for next week’s WWE NXT

Image: WWE

Toxic Attraction are set for six-woman tag team action on next week’s NXT.

WWE has announced that Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) will take on Io Shirai, Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro on NXT next Tuesday. On tonight’s episode of the show, Carter and Catanzaro saved Shirai from a beatdown by Toxic Attraction.

Rose, Dolin, and Jayne all won titles at Halloween Havoc last Tuesday. Rose defeated Raquel Gonzalez in a Trick or Street Fight to win the NXT Women’s Championship, while Dolin & Jayne won the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles in a Scareway to Hell ladder match against Shirai & Zoey Stark and Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta.

Rose kicked off tonight’s NXT and bragged about Toxic Attraction’s title wins. It was revealed that Dolin and Jayne weren’t with her in the ring because they were attacking Stark backstage. After Rose said Toxic Attraction runs NXT and no one can stop them, she was interrupted by Shirai.

Shirai wanted a match against Rose, but Rose gave her a cheap shot and attacked her instead. Shirai fought back and was going for a moonsault when Dolin and Jayne got involved. Carter and Catanzaro then made the save for Shirai, evening the odds against Toxic Attraction.

A tag team match between Kushida & Ikemen Jiro and The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) has also been announced for next week’s NXT. It appears that Kay Lee Ray will have a match on the show as well. A promo aired on NXT tonight where KLR promised that she’s going to “start to rage” next week.

NXT Women’s Tag Team titles change hands at Halloween Havoc

New NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions were crowned at Halloween Havoc.

On Tuesday night’s special Halloween Havoc edition of NXT, Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne defeated Io Shirai & Zoey Stark and Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta in a triple threat Scareway to Hell ladder match to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles. The stipulation for the match was determined by Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal.

Dolin retrieved the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles to get the win for Toxic Attraction. Leading into the finish, Hartwell sent Shirai tumbling off a ladder and through a ladder bridge on the outside. Hartwell tried to climb a ladder and get the titles, but she was stopped by Jayne. Hartwell fought off Jayne but was then kicked off the ladder by Dolin.

Toxic Attraction leader Mandy Rose defeated Raquel Gonzalez in a Trick or Street Fight to win the NXT Women’s Championship later in the night at Halloween Havoc.

Dolin & Jayne are the fifth team to hold the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles since they were introduced this March. Shirai & Stark were champions going into tonight’s match.

‘Scareway to Hell ladder match’ set for NXT Halloween Havoc

WWE has revealed the stipulation for the triple threat NXT Women’s Tag Team title match at Halloween Havoc.

During tonight’s NXT, it was announced that Io Shirai & Zoey Stark vs. Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta vs. Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles at Halloween Havoc will be a “Scareway to Hell ladder match.” Halloween Havoc is a special episode of NXT that’s taking place next Tuesday.

WWE announced yesterday that the NXT Women’s Tag Team title match at Halloween Havoc would be a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal match. Tonight’s episode of NXT featured a triple threat match between Shirai, Pirotta, and Jayne to determine who would spin the wheel to reveal the stipulation for next week. Shirai pinned Pirotta to get the win after Jayne was taken out of the match due to suffering an injury.

Raquel Gonzalez vs. Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc will also be a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal match.

Here’s the updated card for Halloween Havoc:

  • NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa defends against Bron Breakker
  • Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal match: NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez defends against Mandy Rose
  • Scareway to Hell ladder match: NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Io Shirai & Zoey Stark defend against Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta and Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne
  • Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal match: NXT Tag Team Champions MSK defend against Imperium’s Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner
  • The debut of Solo Sikoa
  • Chucky will be a “special guest” on the show

Tommaso Ciampa, Toxic Attraction segments added to WWE NXT

A pair of segments have been announced for tonight’s NXT.

Following his title win last week, new NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will kick off tonight’s episode. Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) will also “address the NXT Universe” on the show.

Last week’s premiere of NXT 2.0 saw Ciampa defeat LA Knight, Pete Dunne, and the debuting Von Wagner (Cal Bloom) in a four-way match to win the NXT Championship. The title was vacant going into that match after being relinquished by Samoa Joe.

After the match, Ciampa had an interaction with Bron Breakker (Bronson Rechsteiner) backstage. Breakker had made his debut by defeating Knight earlier in the show. Breakker and Ciampa congratulated each other on their wins, and they had a tense staredown as Breakker looked at Ciampa’s title belt.

Rose debuted a new look with brown hair on NXT last week. She interrupted a match between Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter and Dolin & Jayne, leading to a six-woman tag where Toxic Attraction defeated Sarray, Catanzaro & Carter.

Tonight’s NXT will also feature Kushida defending his NXT Cruiserweight Championship against Roderick Strong. Plus, two video packages have been announced for the episode. We’ll see the story of how Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen (Ben Buchanan) became a tag team, along with part one of a look inside the life of Ikemen Jiro.

Briggs & Jensen lost to Imperium’s Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner on NXT last week. Jensen was making his debut in the match.
