WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will put his title on the line against Sheamus, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, and Kofi Kingston in an Elimination Chamber match. As the winner of the gauntlet match that took place on this past Monday’s Raw, Sheamus will enter the Chamber last.

Becky Lynch appears at WWE Elimination Chamber

In a potential preview of the WrestleMania 35 main event, Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch all shared the ring together for an angle at Elimination Chamber.

Lynch appeared after Rousey retained her Raw Women’s Championship against Ruby Riott at the pay-per-view. Charlotte was at ringside for the match, and she got into the ring and went face-to-face with Rousey before Lynch made her way out through the crowd.

Lynch was on crutches after Charlotte targeted her knee during an angle at SmackDown’s house show in Alexandria, Louisiana on Saturday night. At Elimination Chamber, she attacked Charlotte with one of the crutches as Rousey watched on.

Rousey then picked up the other crutch. Lynch said she wanted Rousey to hit Charlotte with it, but Lynch attacked Rousey with her crutch when she went to do so. Lynch hit both with crutches until officials finally got her to stop.

Lynch smiled as security took her away. The side of Rousey’s head was bleeding from being hit by the crutch.

On last week’s Raw, Vince McMahon suspended Lynch for 60 days in storyline and claimed that Charlotte would instead challenge for Rousey’s title at WrestleMania.

Banks mentioned that no one knows how hard they fought to get the titles. She said they don’t just fight for themselves and the fans, they do it for everyone in the back and in the women’s division.

The Women’s Tag Team title match started off the Elimination Chamber main card. Naomi & Carmella were the first team to be eliminated, followed by Peyton Royce & Billie Kay, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan, Nia Jax & Tamina, and Rose & Deville.

Bryan introduces sustainable title belt, Elimination Chamber match set

A second Elimination Chamber match has been added to next month’s pay-per-view.

This week’s SmackDown closed with the announcement that Daniel Bryan will defend his WWE Championship against AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, and Mustafa Ali inside the Elimination Chamber next month. Elimination Chamber 2019 is taking place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on February 17.

Bryan threw his old WWE Championship belt in the garbage and introduced a new sustainable title belt in the main event angle of tonight’s SmackDown. He was interrupted by Styles, then Orton, Joe, Hardy, and Ali all came out. Triple H appeared on the video screen and announced the Elimination Chamber match.

Bryan said his new title belt is made from “100 percent sustainable, organic hemp” and carved from a naturally-fallen oak tree.

Bryan retained his title by defeating Styles at Sunday’s Royal Rumble PPV. Bryan aligned with the returning Rowan, with Rowan interfering at the end of the match after a ref bump. Rowan brought Bryan’s new title belt to the ring on SmackDown, and Bryan referred to Rowan as his “intellectual peer” during his promo.

There will also be an Elimination Chamber match to crown WWE’s Women’s Tag Team Champions at next month’s PPV. Nia Jax & Tamina, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan, and Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville have been confirmed for it thus far. There are three teams left to be added.

Elimination Chamber qualifying match set for next week’s Raw

Raw’s final team for the Women’s Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber match will be confirmed next week.

WWE has announced that Sasha Banks & Bayley will face Alicia Fox & Nikki Cross in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match on next Monday’s Raw. The winners will join Nia Jax & Tamina and Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan in the Elimination Chamber match to decide WWE’s Women’s Tag Team Champions.

There will be three teams from Raw and three teams from SmackDown in the Women’s Tag Team title match. Jax & Tamina and Morgan & Logan won qualifying matches on tonight’s Raw, with Jax & Tamina defeating Alexa Bliss & Mickie James and Morgan & Logan defeating Natalya & Dana Brooke.

Bayley answered an open challenge that was issued by Ronda Rousey tonight, with Rousey retaining her Raw Women’s Championship by submitting Bayley with an armbar. Becky Lynch then made an appearance and announced that she’ll be challenging for Rousey’s Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35.

The Toyota Center in Houston, Texas will host Elimination Chamber 2019 on February 17.
