Braun Strowman teases condition for WWE return

While Braun Strowman is extending his career outside of WWE with Everything on the Menu among other ventures, a wrestling return is not completely ruled out.

Strowman talked about his career expansion beyond the ring on Battleground Podcast. He talked about his new venture with Everything on the Menu, and how it extends to show the real him as Adam Scherr, the man behind the monster. He stated that a WWE return is possible if the money is right, and already has his sights set on Oba Femi. He praised his in-ring performance and capabilities displayed so far especially in his feud with Brock Lesnar.

“(If) money’s right, I’m down to do about anything. I’ll try anything twice to make sure I don’t like it. But hey, yeah, that’s what I said. You want to back that Brinks truck up, dump some gold bullion on my porch? I’ll come whip that young kid’s (Oba Femi) a** real quick. It didn’t look like it took Brock too much to do it this last weekend.”

“Don’t get me wrong, Oba’s very impressive, all goofing aside and stuff like that. The kids got a hell of a future in front of them and stuff like that. He’s quite the specimen and stuff like that. And like I said, if WWE pull their head out of there, you know what? And have some common sense, we can make a lot of money. But that is what it is. Business is business. I’m enjoying the hell out of being the host of the number one food television show on cable television, Everything on the Menu”

“I miss the ring. Don’t get me wrong, I miss being in the ring, I miss being in the locker room with the boys, I miss the pop, I miss the fans. I don’t miss the politics and the bull crap that comes along with it. They can still over there and argue and do all that stuff.”

Since Strowman’s WWE release in 2025, he has undertaken multiple non-wrestling related ventures. In addition to “Everything on the Menu” on the USA Network, he partnered with Magilla Entertainment to launch a new production company ‘Meat Castle Media.’

He has kept abreast of happenings in WWE particularly involving powerhouses like Lesnar and Femi, and actively expressed his views on social media.

Braun Strowman admits ‘sometimes the scripts sucked’ in WWE

In his new non-wrestling venture, Braun Strowman is looking forward to having more creative freedom than he did in WWE.

It was announced this month that Strowman (real name Adam Scherr) has partnered with Magilla Entertainment to launch a new production company named “Meat Castle Media.” Strowman spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the news and noted that, while he appreciates the opportunities WWE provided him, he was often frustrated with the creative process.

“For me, the big eye-opening thing was not having my hands tied,” Strowman said while discussing his production company. “They’ve allowed me to be me, whereas I’ve had my hands were tied creatively for the last 12 years (in WWE). And while that’s not a bad thing — I was very blessed with what I got to do — but at the end of the day, I was playing a character on a show, and sometimes the script sucked. I mean, no offense, I hated it, but I had to go in there and make the best of it because that was my job. Well, now with this opportunity… my creative input is welcomed, it’s not dismissed.”

Strowman was released from WWE in May 2025 but still partners with the promotion for the USA Network food series “Everything on the Menu,” which is now back in production after a successful first season. Strowman’s production company is working on a new reality show called “Hands On” where he will try out a different profession in each episode.

Later in the Hollywood Reporter interview, Strowman was questioned about a potential acting career and whether he would follow the path taken by other WWE stars like The Rock, John Cena, and Dave Bautista.

“I’ve never been really one that, like, idolizes anybody’s career,” he responded. “All through the wrestling stuff, I never tried to be any other wrestler. I never wanted to be the next Undertaker or the next Big Show. I wanted to be the first Braun Strowman. It’s very inspiring, but… I don’t want to be the next Rock, I don’t want to be the next Batista. I want to be the first Adam Scherr — and I am.”

Strowman started 2026 having to undergo surgery to drain excess fluid from his knee after an infection. While his focus is on other projects right now, he’s teased a potential in-ring return later this year.

Braun Strowman hints at timeframe for possible in-ring return

Braun Strowman recently shared a timeline for a potential in-ring return.

On Tuesday, Strowman (Adam Scherr) posted an image on X of him slamming Brock Lesnar during one of their encounters in WWE. The caption held a subtle reference to the viral Oba Femi and Lesnar showdown on Raw this week.

In the same post, podcaster Mike Gilbert asked Scherr about when he was getting back into the ring.

“Maybe this summer. I’m mid filming season two of Everything on the Menu now and have a few other projects. So will see,” he replied.

Strowman has not competed in any matches since his WWE release in May 2025, but has been occupied with other ventures.

The aforementioned Everything on the Menu officially announced a second season in January this year, and is co-produced by WWE which allows him to use his ring hame. He hosts the food-themed reality show, traveling across the country and tasting foods from local restaurants.

Last week, it was officially announced that Strowman had co-launched his own production company, Meat Castle Media.

Strowman kicked off the year on an unfortunate note, revealing an urgent surgery to drain excess fluid from his knee as he battled a massive infection. His last wrestled on April 18, 2025, teaming with LA Knight against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

Former Braun Strowman launches production company, new show revealed

With the success of a non-wrestling show on USA, former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is launching a production company and has his second show already in the works.

First reported by The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed that Adam Scherr and producing partner Nick Antonicelli will head up the aptly named Meat Castle Media in conjunction with Magilla Entertainment who is behind reality shows like Moonshiners, Diesel Brothers and Beachfront Bargain Hunt.

From the report:

“The Meat Castle Media deal marks Magilla’s first talent-led production venture. Scherr and Antonicelli will work with Magilla chief development officer Kevin Duncan, who helped develop and executive produce USA Network’s Everything on the Menu, hosted by Scherr. They’ll create new unscripted series and formats, as well as podcasts spanning craft, competition, celebrity interviews and more.”

The first new show as part of the deal is called Hands On which will feature Scherr trying different tasks in skilled professions like the former Mike Rowe-led show Dirty Jobs. Scherr was called “a former tradesman and mechanic” in the story. It was noted that “a competition format set in the world of miniature model making” is also in the works.

After a rough start to the year due to a massive knee infection that kept him hospitalized, Scherr has been on a roll, finding success in Everything On The Menu, a show that is currently in production for its second season which is expected to bow this summer. The travel show features Scherr visiting different spots around the U.S. to try food.

Scherr was released from WWE in May 2025.

Braun Strowman’s ‘Everything on the Menu’ back in production

Braun Strowman’s “Everything on the Menu” has officially entered production on its second season.

USA Network shared a video on Thursday announcing that Strowman (Adam Scherr) is back on set as work begins for the new season of the food show. A return date has not been announced yet, but it’s expected to premiere in early summer 2026.

“We’re officially on set for production of season two of ‘Everything on the Menu.’ And we got some amazing culinary cuisine cooking up for you this season. Stay tuned,” Strowman said.

The second season will have 12 episodes, which is four more than the initial season. USA Network touted that “Everything on the Menu” was the ninth most popular new cable show of 2025. It features Strowman traveling the country and eating different types of food.

  • When the ‘Monster Among Men’ storms into town, wrestling rings aren’t the only things getting demolished-entire menus tremble in his wake! In Everything on the Menu, WWE legend Braun Strowman brings his superhuman appetite to America’s most delicious destinations, from the ultimate greasy-spoon favorites to the Michelin-starred temples of gastronomy and everything in-between. This isn’t a tasting-it is total meal domination, where Braun doesn’t just eat… he OBLITERATES every single dish in his path, bonds with the culinary warriors behind the counter, and picks his favorite from each city’s most iconic flavors. Consider this your warning: Order extra portions and hide your secret recipes-because when Braun Strowman comes to your city, there are NO leftovers.

WWE is involved with producing the show, which is why Strowman is able to use his wrestling name despite no longer being with the company. He was released by WWE in May 2025 and has not wrestled any matches since.

This January, Strowman spent multiple days in the hospital and ended up having to undergo surgery for an “out of control” infection in his knee.

Braun Strowman discharged from hospital following knee infection

Braun Strowman is on the mend.

The former WWE star wrote on social media Friday he was discharged from the hospital following an infection to his knee that required surgery.

“Discharged!!! Lots of antibiotics to take now and gotta take it easy for a few more days before back in the gym. But I can’t wait to get home and see my pups!!! Again thank you for all the prayers and well wishes from around the word. I’m so blessed to have the support and love from so many. All Glory to God  for his mercy and love,” he wrote.

Earlier this week, the former WWE star noted he was in the hospital. By Thursday, the infection became serious enough that he had undergone surgery to drain fluid from his knee.

“I had an infection in my bursa around my patella in my knee, and it got out of control. So they went in this morning. They removed the bursa from my knee, drained a bunch of fluid out of it, and then left the wound open to continue to drain. It’s going to be a couple of days still, taking it easy. I think I gotta stay in here one more night and then I get to go home. And then, yeah, recovery. Still got a ways to go to get over this hump all the way with the infection and stuff, but the pain is finally starting to subside some. It doesn’t feel like my kneecap is going to explode off anymore,” he wrote at the time.

Strowman was released from his WWE contract in May of last year, but continues to have a relationship with the USA Network. His show ‘Everything on the Menu,’ which is produced by WWE, was recently picked up for a second season.

Braun Strowman undergoes surgery due to ‘out of control’ infection

Adam Scherr (former WWE star Braun Strowman) remains hospitalized due to the infection he’s dealing with, but he should be getting out soon.

On Instagram today, Scherr posted a video thanking fans for the support they’ve given him as he battles an infection in his knee. He announced that he’s undergone surgery and is finally starting to feel the pain subside. Scherr has been in the hospital four days now but should only have to spend one more night there.

“All right, guys and girls, back again. Day four. So, just had surgery,” he said. It doesn’t feel like my kneecap is going to explode off anymore.

“So, again, thank you for the continued prayers, the well wishes. It means the world to me. You guys are getting me through this. I’ve been praying a lot to God and asking him to keep me calm and keep my guidance. And I had an awesome team for my surgeries and recovery and things like that. And we’re kicking, we’re kicking. Again, I thank you and love you all so much for the support. Thank you, that’s all I can say. I’ll keep you updated.”

Scherr was released from his WWE contract in May 2025 but still stars in the USA Network food series “Everything on the Menu,” which WWE is a producer of. The show has been picked up for season two after impressing in the ratings during its initial run. Since his release from WWE, Scherr has not wrestled anywhere.

Former WWE star Braun Strowman hospitalized with infection

Adam Scherr (the former Braun Strowman) is currently in the hospital battling an infection.

On Tuesday, Scherr informed fans that he had spent the night in the hospital due to a knee infection that “came out of nowhere.” He shared a new update today letting everyone know that he’s still in the hospital waiting to find out answers. The pain from the infection is pretty bad, but Scherr is confident that everything is going to be okay.

“I just wanted to take a second to come on here and say thank you everybody that’s been reaching out and all the well wishes on my post about this infection,” he said. “I’m going on day two in here, still plumbed up to IVs, waiting on cultures to come back to find out exactly what it is. Pain’s pretty bad, but we’re still breathing. We’re still kicking. God’s got me, and I trust him and everything’s going to be okay. So it’s going to take a little bit to get over this hump, but y’all know me. Nothing keeps ‘The Monster’ down. So, again, thank you for all the well-wishes and thoughts and prayers and everything and everybody reaching out. It doesn’t go unnoticed. I love all of y’all very much. Thank you.”

Scherr, 42, currently stars in the USA Network food series “Everything on the Menu,” which has been picked up for an expanded second season after a successful first run of episodes. He has not wrestled anywhere since being released by WWE in May 2025.

USA Network renews Braun Strowman series for expanded second season

After a successful first season, USA Network has rewarded Braun Strowman’s “Everything on the Menu” with an expanded order.

It was revealed today that “Everything on the Menu” has been renewed for a second season. The Strowman-hosted series will have 12 episodes this time, up from the eight it had for its initial run. Deadline writes that season one — which aired on Fridays immediately following WWE SmackDown — was the ninth most popular new cable show of last year.

“Everything on the Menu” is a food series that features Strowman traveling the country and eating at different restaurants. Here is the official description:

When the ‘Monster Among Men’ storms into town, wrestling rings aren’t the only things getting demolished-entire menus tremble in his wake!

The first season of the show entered development while Strowman was still with WWE. He was released in May 2025 but is still able to use his wrestling name on the show with WWE and Bright North Studios producing it. Strowman and Paul “Triple H” Levesque are among the executive producers.

Strowman (Adam Scherr) has not wrestled anywhere since being released from his WWE contract.

A premiere date for this second season has not been announced yet.

Liv Morgan, Big E, Braun Strowman guest star on Hell’s Kitchen

The January 1st, 2026 episode of Hell’s Kitchen on Fox, witnessed the competitors take part in the black jacket day edition of the show. However, before the chefs started their battle, they were greeted by WWE superstars Liv Morgan, Big E, and former WWE star Braun Strowman.

In a small snippet released by Hell’s Kitchen judge Gordon Ramsay on his social media, fans witnessed Big E talk about being a WWE Champion, before Morgan made her way to the set and shared her mindset on being a champion. Things soon turned more interesting when Braun Strowman made his way by bursting through a dry wall.

Interestingly, both Ramsay and the Fox network introduced Morgan as a champion. Morgan was even pictured with the title, which made it clear that the content was shot while she was still the WWE Women’s World Champion and Strowman was with the company.

Morgan is a former champion and lost the title almost a year ago on January 6th, 2025. She has not won a singles title since. On the otherhand, Strowman left WWE in July 2025 after his contract expired and is currently active in the food world, starring in his own show “Everything on the Menu.”

Braun Strowman: ‘I like to think I changed what it meant to be a big man’ in wrestling

Braun Strowman says he likes to believe he changed what it means to be a big man in WWE.

Strowman was promoting his new food show “Everything on the Menu” in an interview with TMZ Sports recently when he mentioned the show allows him to be himself more than he was able to in WWE.

Strowman said:

“This is the first time in my life I’ve had a major platform where I get to be Adam Scherr, the man behind the monster. And that’s what’s so special to me because I always joke around if WWE would have ever just let me be me, I would’ve ruled the world.”

“I didn’t have the pencil. So, I did my best I could with what they gave me every week. I like to think I changed what it meant to be a big man in the wrestling business. And now here I am with another opportunity in life to go out here and prove naysayers wrong and break these stereotypes that follow around big people like me.”

“While I’m not this super educated human being when it comes to the food space, I know what tastes good and I know how to describe it in a way that I understand it. So I like to think this is almost a more little blue-collar approach to these food shows.”

“Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman” debuts this Friday, October 24 on the USA Network.

Strowman was informed that his WWE contract would not be renewed in May of this year, with him officially becoming a free agent at the end of July. Shortly after, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his release was due to a combination of a high salary and injuries.

“He had not been moving well in the ring since coming back from a major hamstring injury and one person there noted to us that he was hurt worse than people realized,” Meltzer wrote. At the time, Strowman had just come out of a feud with Jacob Fatu, with Fatu winning a Last Man Standing match on the April 4, 2025, WWE SmackDown episode.

Strowman was first signed by WWE in 2013, and made it to the main roster as a member of the Wyatt Family in 2015. He was released in June 2021, but hired back in September 2022. He’s a former Universal, Intercontinental, and two-time tag team champion in the company. He was voted Most Improved in the 2017 Wrestling Observer Newsletter Awards.

Strowman’s full interview with TMZ is available below:

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman responds to Braun Strowman insult

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman has issued a response to a post from former WWE talent Braun Strowman where Strowman called him “Oswald Cobblepot.”

Strowman’s post on Monday came in response to a line from a Heyman promo on Monday’s Raw where Heyman said that no one but The Vision had ever forced Roman Reigns to do a stretcher job before.

Strowman posted an image of an angle where Reigns was stretchered out at the hands of Strowman, then Strowman tipped the stretcher over:

Strowman wrote: yea ok Oswald Cobblepot!!

Oswald Cobblepot is the name of The Penguin character in Batman lore and the HBO Max show The Penguin.

Heyman responded in an Instagram story on Wednesday writing:

Dear Mr. Strowman,

Your post was brought to my attention. I have nothing negative to say about you, nor to you sir.

In fact, I am actually relieved and indeed celebratory to learn you’re still alive, something most of us didn’t realize and even fewer cared about.

With Love and Respect,

Paul Heyman

The root of the social media beef between Heyman and Strowman may stem from the post-WrestleMania 41 edition of The Pat McAfee Show on ESPN where Heyman relayed a story that Strowman had approached him crying because he was not part of the WrestleMania card, with Heyman saying that he told Strowman “that he sucks” and that’s why he was left off the show.

Strowman’s WWE contract expired this past July as the company elected not to renew his deal, ending his second tenure with the company.

Former WWE star Braun Strowman interested in playing horror movie icon

Former WWE wrestler Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr) has interest in playing one of the most iconic characters in horror movie history.

While speaking with Collider at the Fantastic Fest film festival, Scherr named Jason Voorhees from the “Friday the 13th” franchise as the horror character he would most like to play. And Scherr indicated that there at least have been some talks in the past about making that a reality.

“There may be some talks about it with people that I know and my agency,” Scherr said. “If we could ever get everybody to get back on the same page and allow the things to work, I might be the next Voorhees.”

There hasn’t been a new “Friday the 13th” movie since 2009, though the next installment is said to be in the very early stages of development. A prequel TV series — titled “Crystal Lake” — is being developed by A24 and Peacock. Scherr does not have a role in that show.

Scherr was released from his WWE contract in May, marking the end of his second stint with the company. He is starring in the new USA Network series “Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman” that will debut after SmackDown on October 24. The series was created while Scherr was still with WWE.

Since his release, the 42-year-old Scherr has not wrestled anywhere. He plays a security guard in the movie “Deathgasm 2: Goremageddon” that premiered at Fantastic Fest.

During his interview with Collider, Scherr noted that he would “gladly” shave off his beard if that was a requirement of playing Jason Voorhees.
