Tag match added to Impact Slammiversary pre-show

Impact Wrestling has added a new match to the lineup for Slammiversary 2023.

On the pre-show for Slammiversary, The Death Dollz (Courtney Rush & Jessicka) will team up with Jody Threat against Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans & Jai Vidal. The pre-show streams for free on Impact Plus, YouTube, and Fite TV starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time this Saturday.

This is the second match that’s been confirmed for the pre-show. It will also feature a Digital Media Championship match with Joe Hendry defending against Kenny King.

St. Clair College Sportsplex in Windsor, Ontario, Canada is hosting Slammiversary. There have now been 10 matches announced for the event. The updated lineup is listed below:

Impact Wrestling Slammiversary 2023 (Saturday, July 15) —

  • Impact World Champion Alex Shelley defends against Nick Aldis
  • Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo defends against Trinity
  • X-Division Champion Chris Sabin defends against Lio Rush
  • Impact Tag Team Champions ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin) defend against Sami Callihan & Rich Swann, Brian Myers & Moose, and Subculture (Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews) in a four-way match
  • Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King) defend against Masha Slamovich & Killer Kelly
  • Bully Ray & Deaner vs. Scott D’Amore & TBA with former NHL player Darren McCarty as special enforcer (PCO’s status for the match is in question following an angle on last week’s Impact)
  • Ultimate X match: Mike Bailey vs. Jonathan Gresham vs. Angels vs. Kevin Knight vs. KUSHIDA
  • Frankie Kazarian vs. Eddie Edwards

Knockouts Tag Team title match announced for next Impact Wrestling

Three matches have been announced for next Thursday’s go-home edition of Impact Wrestling — the final stop before next Friday’s Against All Odds.

After they clashed in a non-title match at Under Siege, Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King) will defend against The Death Dollz (Jessicka & Courtney Rush). The Dollz are also former titleholders.

In a non-title match, Impact Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry will face Sheldon Jean. This was set up in a backstage segment Thursday where Kenny King and Jean confronted Hendry and Director of Authority Santino Marella.

In a preview of the new 8-4-1 match at Against All Odds that will crown a Slammiversary World title contender, Moose & Rich Swann will face Nick Aldis & Jonathan Gresham.

Here’s the current lineup with more expected to be announced in the week ahead:

New pre-show match announced for Impact Under Siege

Following Thursday’s Impact Wrestling on AXS TV, the final card for Friday’s Under Siege streaming special is set.

The lone new addition to the London, Ontario, Canada, event is Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King) against the Death Dollz (Jessicka & Courtney Rush) in a non-title match.

Wilde defeated Jessicka on Thursday’s show and as Wilde and King attacked Jessicka after the match, Rush (the alter ego of Rosemary) ran out to make the save.

That match, and the Digital Media title match featuring champion Joe Hendry vs. Dirty Dango, will both be on the pre-show that starts at 7:30 PM Eastern with the main card kicking off at 8 PM Eastern.

Trios bout, Knockouts Tag Team title defense set for next Impact

Next Thursday’s Impact on AXS will feature a high-profile trios match in addition to a Knockouts Tag Team title match.

Impact World Champion Josh Alexander, Rich Swann & Frankie Kazarian will unite against Bullet Club’s KENTA, Chris Bey & Ace Austin.

This was made on this week’s show when Alexander, Swann and Kazarian decided to team up at this month’s Sacrifice streaming special. Later on, Bullet Club were walking around backstage when they challenged the babyface trio to a match next week.

Alexander’s title challenger at April’s Rebellion, Steve Maclin, will be in action against Heath.

Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Death Dollz (Taya Valkyrie & Jessicka) will defend against The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King). This was made Thursday when all parties involved, including Rosemary, got into a disagreement over Wilde & King’s use of witchcraft, leading to an additional stipulation that If the Dollz win, Wilde & King have to stop performing it.

Past foes “Speedball” Mike Bailey & Jonathan Gresham will reunite to take on Decay’s Black Taurus & Crazzy Steve.
