The cold open —

  • A somber Matt Jackson opened this week’s Being The Elite, explaining that he was about to fly to Jacksonville for last week’s Brodie Lee tribute show. 
  • Footage from the show aired, including a behind-the-scenes look at a backstage speech that Eddie Kingston gave, encouraging the crew to perform for Brodie and everyone they have collectively ever lost. Kingston also encouraged the roster to tell each other that they love one another. 

The Elite —

  • There was an easter egg at the end of the episode — a still shot of The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega standing over a fallen AJ Styles in an NJPW ring from when Omega kicked Styles out of Bullet Club in 2016. 

BTE Championship —

  • John Silver retained the BTE Championship in a kick the cap off a water bottle challenge, defeating Marko Stunt. 

Dark Order —

  • Dasha, Ortiz and Diamante confronted Alex Abrahantes over his apparent decision to join Dark Order. Abrahantes is still acting as though he hasn’t joined the group. 

Miscellaneous bits —

  • Matt Hardy suggested that Private Party each give him 30 percent of their pay in exchange for his mentoring and advice. 
  • The Bunny was looking for Brandon Cutler backstage while armed with scissors.
  • Trent beat Joey Janela in chess. Janela then brought in Luchasaurus who easily defeated Trent. 
  • Kip Sabian asked Leva Bates if she let him win when they played video games. Bates again said she didn’t let him win. Sabian wanted Bates to individually tweet fans to tell them that he was a superior gamer and that she did not let him win. 
  • Vickie Guerrero got her head caught in a smock while waiting for her hair and makeup to be done. Brian Pillman Jr. entered and thought that she was a nun. This gave Vickie the idea for a new gimmick for herself and Nyla Rose. 
  • The Mikey Rukus music video for Ghost Town debuted. Rukus and Matt Hardy introduced the video. 

VIDEO: Being The Elite – Brodie Lee tribute

The entirety of this week’s Being The Elite was a tribute to Brodie Lee. 

Matt Jackson introduced the show with a brief dedication to Lee. 

The remainder of the episode featured clips from Brodie’s appearances on Being The Elite, including comedic outtakes from his appearances on the show. 

The footage was interspersed with testimonials from Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Alan Angels and Preston Vance. 

“Everyone says laughter is contagious. This guy’s laugh was the most contagious thing I’ve ever been around,” said Vance. “He has done more for me than I could ever imagine someone doing. 

“Even though it was only a short time I knew him, I’m very grateful for the time that I did know Brodie Lee,” Angels said. 

“Brodie was the best. He was the funniest. He was the man. I’m going to miss him so much,” said Silver. 

“I love you and I’m going to miss you,” Reynolds said.

The cold open —

  • Dark Order sang a Dark Order-themed version of The 12 Days of Christmas, then decided to go caroling. 

Dark Order —

  • Dark Order went caroling. They met Griff Garrison at their first stop. Garrison blew them off. 
  • Frankie Kazarian went to use the bathroom and Dark Order was in the stall. They did a Christmas Vacation spoof. 
  • After their caroling fails, Dark Order turned on Christmas. Colt Cabana talked them into giving their singing one more chance. 
  • The group sang Hangman the Handsome Cowboy to Hangman Page in a recruiting pitch. Hangman agreed to celebrate with them, but it was unclear whether or not he actually joined the group. 

The Elite —

  • The Young Bucks complained about having to pay $800 to replace a table that Dark Order broke while filming last week’s episode. 
  • The Young Bucks were shown at ringside for The Acclaimed vs. SCU on Dynamite. 
  • Hardy met with Private Party after their win on Dynamite last week. He explained that he teaches them lessons and that he didn’t steal the pin in their match, he was just showing them the proper way to secure a pin. The Bucks entered and told Hardy that he has been a real jerk lately. Hardy said his life changed at All Out when he got injured. He said the audience turned on him for getting hurt and he died on the inside that day. Hardy said he’s done giving and he’s going to leach off the business from now on. 

BTE Championship —

  • Sammy Guevara, Kip Sabian, Marko Stunt, Britt Baker, Anna Jay, Brian Pillman Jr. and Chuck Taylor competed for the BTE Championship number one contendership in a high/low card game. Marko Stunt beat Anna Jay in the final. It’s Stunt vs. Silver next week for the BTE Championship.  

Miscellaneous bits —

  • Christopher Daniels appeared to Frankie Kazarian and told him that if he didn’t start being nice to Brandon Cutler and enroll in anger management classes, he would be visited by three spirits. Fuego Del Sol appeared and said that he loved Daniels. 
  • Trent appeared to Kazarian as The Ghost of Christmas Past. Trent showed Kazarian a video package of him being a jerk to Cutler. 
  • Chuck Taylor then appeared to Kazarian as a ghost and showed him a video package of him being a jerk to Cutler. 
  • Orange Cassidy appeared to Kazarian as The Ghost of Christmas Future. Cassidy showed him a headline that said Kaz lost to Cutler in under a minute. Kazarian said that won’t be his future and he had a change of heart. He agreed to go to anger management and spread Christmas cheer backstage. 
  • A commercial aired for a Mikey Rukus music video starring Matt Hardy.
  • Sabian asked Leva Bates f she let him win when they played games last week. Bates said that she didn’t. When Sabian left, she told the camera that she let him win. 
  • Orange Cassidy fed Kris Statlander grapes backstage.

The cold open —

  • A segment from Dynamite was replayed where Hangman Page agreed to team with Alex Reynolds and John Silver against Matt Hardy and Private Party on this week’s Dynamite. 
  • After the segment ended, Reynolds said he had an idea on how to make Hangman teaming with them even more special — Cowboy Day. 

Dark Order —

  • Reynolds and Silver brought Hangman to their lair for a meeting. The room was decked out like a saloon and all of the other Dark Order members were dressed in cowboy gear. Reynolds asked Hangman if he wanted to ride 10. 10 then appeared dressed as a horse. Things took a turn when Silver pointed finger guns at Hangman. 
  • Later, a finger gun fight broke out. Page was the last one standing. Once he left, the rest of the group realized that they had forgotten to ask him to join Dark Order. 

The Elite —

  • Footage was shown of The Young Bucks vs. TH2 from last week’s Dynamite. 

BTE Championship —

  • John Silver was set to defend his BTE title against Shawn Dean in a Skittles throwing competition. Brandon Cutler’s camera died and didn’t capture the first game, which Silver won. A second game was filmed with the caveat that if Dean won that round, a third and deciding round would commence. 
  • Silver retained the title. 

Miscellaneous bits —

  • Kip Sabian continued his quest to prove that he is a superior gamer to Leva Bates. He beat Bates in a game. Miro told him after that Bates had let him win. Sabian asked Penelope Ford if it was true. She said no, but Sabian doubted her.
  • Dasha interrupted Alex Abrahantes as he began his Speaking Spanglish segment. She staged an intervention with the Latin contingent over Abrahantes flirting with Dark Order on recent episodes. The intervention was interrupted when someone delivered empanadas.

This week on Being The Elite —

  • The show opened with a brief clip of Sting’s Dynamite entrance from a backstage point of view. 
  • Shawn Dean, Aaron Solow, Chuck Taylor, Trent and Evil Uno played the card game Uno to determine the next number one contender to John Silver’s BTE Championship. White Claw in hand, Silver slurred through an introduction for the game. Dean won. 
  • Next week it’s Silver vs. Dean in a Skittles-throwing competition for the BTE title. 

The Elite —

  • The Bucks wished Kenny Omega luck before his AEW title match and promised to get their office ready to celebrate later. After his match, Omega left the building immediately. The Bucks went to the office and explained to Brandon Cutler that Omega turned heel. 
  • The Acclaimed and TH2 attacking The Young Bucks on Dynamite was replayed. A bit followed where Nick Jackson explained what happened in the attack and talked about Wednesday’s ratings. 
  • Brandon Cutler and Fuego Del Sol cut promos on each other ahead of their match on Dark. 

Dark Order —

  • Silver and Alex Reynolds set a trap with whiskey to try to lure Hangman Page to their lair. The entire Dark Order group started drinking whiskey together. 
  • The drinking continued throughout the show. Alan Angels took a shot off Preston Vance’s body. 
  • By the time Page arrived, the entire group was too drunk to recruit him. Page grabbed the whiskey and left as he heard Omega being announced as the new AEW Champion. 

Miscellaneous bits —

  • Dasha Gonzalez, Ortiz and Diamante were looking for Alex Abrahantes backstage. They found him in a storage area watching Dark Order clips from BTE and drinking Dark Order’s purple Kool-Aid. 
  • Frankie Kazarian continued being angry but denying that he needs anger management. 
  • Marko Stunt wished Matt Hardy luck in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale and made fun of his gear. Hardy went on a tangent about how iconic his look is. This led to a plug for The Young Bucks book. Chris Jericho made a cameo and told Stunt he should write a book. 
  • Private Party confronted Matt Hardy for his behavior in the Battle Royale. Hardy promised them that everything was just a test and they don’t have any problems with each other.

  • John Silver won a mustard packet throwing challenge over Trent to retain the BTE Championship. Silver also won $1000 from Nick Jackson in the challenge.  

The Elite —

  • The Young Bucks plugged their book. 
  • Matt and Nick were playing basketball backstage. Matt Hardy approached and told them about the time that he substituted for Steve Austin after he took his ball and went home. Hardy then chastised Matt and Nick for having a bad attitude towards him of late. 

Dark Order —

  • Dark Order commiserated in their backstage area after John Silver and Anna Jay lost their matches last week. They shared a group hug. Colt Cabana has his face back. Hangman Page saw the group hug and was envious. Sad cowboy music played. 
  • Anna Jay and Tay Conti interrupted a Jurassic Express meeting with Super Panda. The ladies were smitten with Panda once he began singing. Marko Stunt freaked out and accused Panda of stealing his singing gimmick. 

Miscellaneous bits —

  • In the cold open, Private Party tricked Ortiz into eating a spicy chip. Ortiz no-sold it until Private Party was out of sight, then ran for a bathroom to throw up. 
  • Brandon Cutler didn’t know what a hard camera was. Frankie Kazarian called him a mark. Marko Stunt asked Kazarian if he had signed up for anger management classes yet. 
  • We saw Cutler Cam footage from Dynamite. 
  • Kip Sabian threatened Leva Bates for beating him in video games.

  • Luchasaurus, Trent, Ricky Starks, Aaron Solow and Super Panda participated in a One Chip Challenge to determine the next number one contender for John Silver’s BTE Championship. Trent secured a title shot by eating a second chip. Silver will defend the title in a mustard packet throwing challenge next week. 

The Elite —

  • Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson did an extended plug for their new book while in an airport. 
  • Matt and Nick went to a Barnes & Noble to look for a copy of their new book. They found it there in the romance section. 
  • The Bucks approached Kenny Omega backstage while he was having cupping done on his back. 
  • We got footage of The Bucks vs. Top Flight from Dynamite. Later, Matt and Nick were interviewing Top Flight backstage. Matt Hardy entered and did his new heelish gimmick, making everything about himself. “The truth is the truth” is Hardy’s new catchphrase. 
  • Hardy continued to pop up in various scenarios and spouting the catchphrase. 
  • Brandon Cutler was looking for “spotted monkeys” in the bathroom. Frankie Kazarian got upset with him for not knowing what spot monkeys are. 

Dark Order —

  • Anna Jay entered Dark Order’s locker room and shoved Stu Grayson over a table. 
  • The bullying continued at Dark Order’s Thanksgiving celebration as Jay demanded Grayson’s french fries. Everyone stated what they are most thankful for. 

Miscellaneous bits —

  • In the cold open, Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander ran towards each other with their fingers extended for a boop while 80s music played in the background. 
  • Leva Bates again effortlessly beat Kip Sabian at a video game. 
  • Michael Nakazawa was seen oiling up the ring ropes in an effort to explain why Trent slipped on the ropes during a recent match with Miro.

  • John Silver defeated Trent in a water bottle flip contest to win the BTE Championship. 

The Elite —

  • Matt and Nick had their new nameplates added to the AEW Tag titles. Sammy Guevara ribbed them and pretended that he had destroyed the BTE Championship belt. 
  • Brandon Cutler asked Frankie Kazarian if two wins equal a winning streak. Kazarian flipped out on him and called him a mark. 
  • The Bucks gave signed copies of their book to Chris Jericho, Tony Khan, Cody and Matt Hardy. The book drops tomorrow. 
  • The Bucks met with Matt Hardy in their locker room. Hardy did a new fake sincere gimmick. 

Dark Order —

  • In the show’s cold open, John Silver and Alex Reynolds tried to recruit Frankie Kazarian to Dark Order. Kazarian reminded them that Dark Order beat up SCU and left them laying for seemingly three straight months to start 2020. Jerry Lynn made a cameo and suggested anger management for Kazarian, who snapped and stormed off. 
  • Stu Grayson was arguing with Private Party backstage. Anna Jay approached and shoved Grayson over a table. 
  • The group decided that they needed a bonding exercise. Alan Angels suggested family therapy. Instead, the other members decided to cut all his body hair off. 

Miscellaneous bits —

  • “Pretty” Peter Avalon drank in the Daily’s Place bar with a couple of people represented by gloved hands, one of whom was Kazarian doing his police officer voice, complete with jokes about going to the bathroom in his pants. 
  • Evil Uno, Nyla Rose, Colt Cabana, Kip Sabian, Alex Abrahantes, Leva Bates, Cutler and Allie did an extended Among Us spoof to plug their Twitch channels.

  • SCU threw a big locker room champagne celebration for The Young Bucks after they won the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear. Kenny Omega joined them. Hangman Page walked past the room but did not join and walked off with sad cowboy music playing. 
  • Shaq made a cameo backstage at Full Gear. 
  • In the cold open, Nick berated Matt the night before Full Gear for adding the stipulation the The Bucks would never challenge for the Tag titles again if they lost. Matt said he had a Plan B and showed Nick a rendering of TNT Tag Team titles. 
  • The Bucks went to a Wal Mart searching for their action figures and still couldn’t find any. 
  • Matt Jackson talked about his injuries. 
  • The Bucks and Brandon Cutler shot some videos backstage. 

Dark Order —

  • The Dark Order was trying to cheer up John Silver after his Full Gear loss. They began a derisive chant about Hangman Page. Page walked in and joined in the chant. Evil Uno saw this as an opportunity and the episode ended with Uno rushing off to try to recruit Page. 
  • John Silver and Alex Reynolds tried to recruit Michael Nakazawa to Dark Order. Instead, Nakazawa used his underpants to apply an iron claw on both guys. 

Gator Golf —

  • Trent won the Gator Golf tournament and was crowned the first BTE Champion. 

Miscellaneous bits —

  • Eddie Kingston cut an incredible promo. He vowed to be back on Dynamite Wednesday. 
  • AEW talent was shown signing autograph stickers for an upcoming trading cards set. 
  • There was a running gag where Frankie Kazarian was getting angry and cursing at people backstage, including Cutler and Justin Roberts. 
  • Miro and Kip Sabian were playing video games backstage as Penelope Ford looked on. Leva Bates entered and asked to play. Bates beat Sabian at his own game. 
  • Jurassic Express were in a cold tub. They got out of the tub and Anna Jay approached. The joke here was that Marko Stunt has big genitals.

  • In the cold open, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson limped to the ring to support Brandon Cutler in his match against Peter Avalon. 
  • A Brandon Cutler video promo aired. It showed highlights from his long series of losses. Between singles and tags, Cutler went 0-25-2 in AEW before finally beating Avalon on Dark. The video ended with Cutler’s first win.
  • Cutler and The Young Bucks cut a promo after after the victory. Cutler said wins and losses matter but people get caught up on the wins. Cutler said he proved that losses matter too. 

Dark Order —

  • Alex Reynolds and John Silver approached Darby Allin and tried to appeal to him by talking about how much they love Good Charlotte and skateboards. They also had their faces painted. Silver told Allin they wanted to recruit him. Allin chased them away.

Gator Golf —

  • Eddie Kingston made a putt backstage, but he is not in the tournament. 
  • The three-way Gator Golf final to determine the first BTE World Champion will be held on next week’s episode. 

Miscellaneous bits —

  • Fuego Del Sol was with Sammy Guevara backstage. Fuego said he flew himself in, put himself up in a hotel and showed up at Dynamite in his gear to show that he was ready for an opportunity. Matt walked by. Guevara told Fuego that if he took out Matt he could get back into the Gator Golf tournament. Guevara threw a shoe at Matt but it hit Brian Cage instead. Cage went after Fuego. Fuego ratted Guevara out. Cage chased after Guevara. 
  • Super Panda and Luchasaurus were hanging out at Luchasaurus’s dad’s house. Dad made a cameo. Panda wanted to work on Luchasaurus being able to hit a destroyer. Luchasaurus only wanted to work on big man spots. Luchasaurus hit a dive off a diving board into a swimming pool but splashed his dad with water. 

Speaking Spanglish — 

  • Alex Abrahantes hosted Spanglish Familia Feud. 
  • It was Dasha Gonzalez, Santana, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara & Diamante vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno, 10, Alan Angels, Stu Grayson, Anna Jay & John Silver)
  • The gag here was that the game was rigged in Dark Order’s favor until Abrahantes showed up as his fortune teller character and tipped the game in the other side’s favor. 
  • The sound quality was awful. The bit was endless. This was a huge miss.

  • Matt Jackson got a new phone that made him paranoid. It caused him to see Nick Jackson having a singles run with the TNT Championship, Christopher Daniels leaving to be head of talent relations for NXT and Brandon Cutler joining Best Friends. 
  • It was revealed that Tony Schiavone was behind the phone as a way of getting revenge on Matt. 
  • There was a Christopher Daniels visa joke in here and multiple Triple H references.
  • Highlights of FTR attacking Matt and Nick on Dynamite were shown. 

Dark Order —

  • Dark Order threw a costume party. Evil Uno was dressed as The Riddler. Alan Angels and Preston Vance were both The Joker. Alex Reynolds was Slutty George Washington. John Silver was Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs. Stu Grayson was Slutty Robin. 
  • “Broken” Matt Hardy, Sammy Guevara, Leva Bates, Nyla Rose and Griff Garrison appeared at the party. Private Party were not allowed in. 

Gator Golf —

  • John Silver defeated Colt Cabana/Michael Nakazawa
  • Matt Jackson defeated Fuego Del Sol
  • Trent defeated Matt Hardy

Miscellaneous bits —

  • Brandon Cutler asked various AEW talent backstage who would win in his match with Peter Avalon on Dark.

  • Matt and Nick Jackson were called into a meeting with Tony Khan over their recent superkick rampage. As a result, they missed Brandon Cutler’s match on Dark that they had promised to be ringside for. Cutler and The Bucks had a blow-up over this. 
  • Matt Hardy brought his kids to the AEW hotel to meet Matt and Nick Jackson. Matt and Nick were rude to Hardy’s kids. Hardy told The Bucks that getting sympathy on his kids to further their conflicted tweener characters was “such good sh*t.”
  • Christopher Daniels confronted Matt and Nick over their recent behavior. He offered to listen if Matt and Nick ever wanted to talk. 
  • Kenny Omega told Cutler to expect a new attitude from him on Dynamite and less funny stuff on BTE. 

Gator Golf tournament for the BTE Championship —

  • Matt Hardy defeated Luchasaurus
  • Fuego del Sol defeated Sammy Guevara
  • Colt Cabana/Michael Nakazwa defeated Matt Sydal after Peter Avalon and Brandon Cutler were disqualified

Dark Order —

  • Kris Statlander made an appearance and continued her feud with Alex Reynolds and John Silver. 
  • Dean Malenko was using Dark Order’s clubhouse as an office, so they had to meet elsewhere. 
  • Reynolds and Silver made Five and Ten paper each other. 

Miscellaneous bits —

  • Tony Khan officiated a press conference for the upcoming Peter Avalon vs. Brandon Cutler match on Dark. Jim Ross was parodied in this segment. 
  • Private Party threw a private party backstage. Cody was invited. Frankie Kazarian, Reynolds and Silver did not make the guest list.

Gator Golf —

A Gator Golf tournament was announced to determine the first BTE Champion. 

Three first round matches were held on this week’s episode. 

  • Matt Jackson vs. Nick Jackson – Sammy Guevara vs. Fuego Del Sol
  • Alex Reynolds vs. John Silver – Brandon Cutler vs. Peter Avalon
  • Chuck Taylor vs. Trent – Matt Hardy vs. Luchasaurus

The winners of the first round matchups will face each other. The winners of the second round matchups will advance to a three-way final. 

  • Matt defeated Nick in their first round battle.
  • Trent defeated Chuck.
  • Silver defeated Reynolds. 

The Elite —

Hangman Page and Brandon Cutler were seen throwing watermelons and pumpkins out of a pickup truck. Cutler tried to talk Hangman into patching up his relationship with Matt and Nick. Page wanted nothing to do with them. 

BTE opened this week with a flashback to just before All Out 2019. Hangman Page asked The Young Bucks to second him during his match with Chris Jericho. Matt and Nick blew him off. 

Cutler confronted Matt and Nick about not seconding Hangman last year. Cutler then asked them to second him in his next match. 

Nick told Matt to text Hangman to try to patch things up. Hangman didn’t get the message because his phone was stuck in a pumpkin. 

A mysterious hand picked up Page’s phone and responded to Matt, telling him to leave him alone forever and never to speak to him again. Was it Page? Was it someone else? That was this week’s cliffhanger. 

Dark Order —

Alex Abrahantes joined Dark Order after accidentally drinking their Kool-Aid. 

Evil Uno was backstage looking for Mr. Brodie Lee. He entered Dark Order’s lair and found Stu Grayson had been beaten up by Anna Jay. Uno asked Jay to leave Grayson alone for two weeks. Jay agreed. As soon as Uno left, Jay went back to beating up Grayson. 

Dark Order met to try to think of ways to cheer up Mr. Brodie Lee after he lost the TNT title. Preston Vance suggested cocaine and guns. Alan Angels suggested Five Guys. Silver suggested they all line up, pull Lee’s pants down and kiss his posterior. Lee entered and was furious with everyone except for Silver for not interfering in the match where he lost the title. 

Miscellaneous bits —

Colt Cabana is still stuck looking like Michael Nakazawa. He entered the EVP’s dressing room. Kenny Omega was there. An extended sex joke followed. 

Matt and Nick arrived at Dynamite and discussed who they should superkick. They settled on Alex Marvez. Justin Roberts interrupted them and another sex joke followed. 

This week’s Speaking Spanglish segment was interrupted when Dark Order kidnapped Ortiz. Santana went searching for Ortiz. 

Leva Bates did a bit with Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian. 

Matt Hardy instructed Matt and Nick on the proper way to watch a television monitor backstage.

In this week’s BTE cold open, Brandon Cutler took a call from Hangman Page. Page was checking on a video that he had asked Cutler to make featuring photos of Page with Matt and Nick. 

While Cutler was on the phone, Tony Schiavone knocked on the door to interview Matt on Dynamite. This was the promo that aired on Dynamite where Matt destroyed Tony’s phone. 

After Schiavone left, Matt destroyed Cutler’s computer, ruining the video that Cutler was putting together. 

The open ran nearly six minutes, as Matt dropped elbows on the computer and hit it with superkicks.

Matt kept speaking to someone off-camera who we were supposed to believe was Nick, but it was pretty clear that Nick wasn’t there.  

Other highlights from the episode included:

  • Matt and Nick went to another store in search of their action figures. 
  • Evil Uno told Five to cut his hair because he keeps finding it in his underwear. 
  • Stu Grayson was still looking to kill John Silver but Uno still didn’t want him to. Grayson tricked Uno into telling him to kill Silver. Grayson left but Anna Jay dragged him back to the Dark Order lair by his ear. 
  • This week’s Speaking Spanglish was a telenovela. Ortiz confronted Dasha Gonzalez. Dasha said that their love was true. Jake Hager and Kip Sabian told Ortiz that Dasha is not who she says she is. Ortiz prayed to Thunder Rosa for help with Dasha. Rosa revealed Dasha to be Marko Stunt. 
  • Cutler met with Matt Hardy. Hardy was concerned about Matt and Nick. Hardy offered to help Matt and Nick if he could. 
  • Cutler asked Hardy how he was feeling. Hardy said his fall at All Out changed him and he feels more complete than ever. 
  • Christopher Daniels cut a great promo. Daniels said that this has been the worst year we have ever lived through. He said his bad year started in October 2019. Daniels said he got attacked and injured and had to watch SCU win the Tag titles without him. Daniels said he hasn’t felt elite in a long time and has thought about retiring. Daniels fought back tears as he said that he wants to write his own ending to his story. He said he has a path to walk but he doesn’t know where it leads. He said this is not his best day, but it’s not his last day. Not yet. 
  • Dark Order were in their lair. They were singing Cody’s entrance song. Mr. Brodie Lee entered and asked where Alex Reynolds was. Silver said that he was at his father’s bris. Lee opened his coat and flashed the group. Silver made a video call to Reynolds. Reynolds said he was at fencing camp. Lee flashed Reynolds. Jay again attacked Grayson. 
  • We saw Cutler Cam footage from Dynamite. 
  • Swole gave a Public Swole Announcement. She chastised slow drivers for driving in the fast lane. 
  • Eddie Kingston cut a promo on Sour Patch Kids. 
  • Best Friends and Orange Cassidy planned to kill Cutler by putting him in a microwave. Silver entered and tried to recruit all of them. They agreed to join Dark Order if Silver killed Cutler. 
  • Silver attacked Cutler. Trent and Chuck were upset that Silver simply attacked Cutler and didn’t make it cute enough or give him sexual favors before he attacked. They helped Cutler to his feet and told him they would kill him in a cool way later.

Episode 221 of Being The Elite opened with AEW promo class. Eddie Kingston cut a promo on a chocolate chip cookie. 

Other highlights from the episode included: 

Brandon Cutler tried to talk to The Young Bucks but they were in no mood. Matt and Nick said that they have been spending too much time worrying about the jobbers on their show instead of taking care of themselves and that is going to change. 

Alex Reynolds and John Silver had a dance-off against TH2. TH2 were declared the winners. Orange Cassidy rejected another invitation to join Dark Order. 

Michael Nakazawa was left out of the Casino Battle Royale and decided to take it out on Matt Sydal by oiling the top turnbuckle. 

Reynolds and Silver tried to frame Stu Grayson for vandalizing a bathroom but failed. 

Colt Cabana was looking for a doctor to fix his face. He ran into Chris Daniels, Dustin Rhodes and Luther but none of them were real doctors. 

Daniels did a commercial for vodka to appeal to the 50-plus demo. 

Cutler approached Hangman Page and told him that Matt and Nick wanted nothing to do with him. Page told him to do his job and go tell The Bucks that he’s sorry. 

Matt Hardy introduced his youngest child to The Bucks. Matt and Nick were concerned that Hardy seemed too normal. 

Sydal found out about Nakazawa and chased him through the backstage. 

Page asked Cutler to get Matt and Nick some cakes. The cake delivery person turned out to be a competitive eater and ate the cakes before Page could get them to The Bucks.
