Six-woman tag team match added to WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

A six-woman tag team match is set for next weekend.

Following events that took place on SmackDown, Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab will team together to take on Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 23.

After returning during last week’s show, Cargill on Friday said she would meet Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley at Clash in Italy, and the Women’s title would be coming home with her. Flair and Bliss interrupted, demanding their match against B-Fab and Michin start now. The match went ahead as advertised but ended in a DQ when Cargill pulled Bliss out of the ring.

Following the bout, Michin and B-Fab started to attack Flair, who fought back and laid out both women. Later backstage, both Flair & Bliss admitted they needed help in order to deal with Jade Cargill and the numbers game.

Ripley moved to SmackDown following her WrestleMania 42 title win but quickly found herself dealing with the debuting Fatal Influence. She has attempted to seek Bliss & Flair’s help in handling matters, but to middling results. While Bliss has seemed interested in helping out, Flair has not, still struggling to be a team player after years as a solo star.

R-Truth pulled from WWE SmackDown, new match set

Update —

After initially announcing a tag match for the show, WWE has said that R-Truth is not medically cleared for SmackDown tonight. Damian Priest will now face Tama Tonga one-on-one.

A Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricky Saints match has also been added.

**********

A pair of tag matches have been added to the WWE SmackDown lineup for tonight.

WWE revealed this afternoon that Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss will face off against Michin & B-Fab on SmackDown. Along with that, there will be a non-title bout pitting WWE Tag Team Champions Damian Priest & R-Truth against Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga.

Last Friday, Flair & Bliss teamed with Rhea Ripley against the three members of Fatal Influence. The babyfaces lost after the returning Jade Cargill got involved, with Cargill, Michin & B-Fab then beating down Ripley, Flair & Bliss.

Talla Tonga defeated Priest in a singles match last week after Priest was distracted by saving Truth from an attack by Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa. Royce Keys then stepped in to help Priest and Truth, which led to Keys defeating Tama Tonga later in the night.

Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina is the venue for tonight’s show. Here’s the updated card:

Jade Cargill returns on WWE SmackDown

For the first time since WrestleMania Sunday, Jade Cargill has appeared in a WWE ring, making her return on Friday’s WWE SmackDown, attacking Rhea Ripley during a trios match.

Ripley was teaming with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to take on the Fatal Influence team of Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid. Bliss was crawling to her corner to tag in Ripley when Cargill appeared at ringside, yanking Ripley off the apron and dropping her to the floor. Jayne immediately hit the isolated Bliss with the rolling encore and pinned her.

After Fatal Influence left the ring, Michin and B-Fab also returned, joining Cargill in attacking the babyface team, though Ripley did attempt to rally.

Cargill was last seen losing the WWE Women’s Championship to Ripley at WrestleMania. Before that, her last loss in a one-on-one match on WWE TV came in another WWE Women’s Championship match, an unsuccessful challenge to Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam last August.

Ripley earned her Mania title shot by winning the Elimination Chamber in February. Her victory over the Cargill was the fourth time she had won the WWE Raw Women’s Championship, WWE Women’s World Championship or WWE Women’s Championship.

Liv Morgan, Jacob Fatu and more WWE stars discuss impact of training at The Dungeon

Liv Morgan and other WWE stars shared their experiences and learnings at The Dungeon 2.0 owned by Natalya and TJ Wilson.

Natalya shared a video on X featuring training sessions at The Dungeon.

“My grandfather built The Dungeon on heart and grit and finding out who could get knocked down and get back up. I love being able to carry forward what he started with a new generation.” tweeted Natalya.

In the video, Liv Morgan, Ilja Dragunov, Jacob Fatu and B-Fab shared their experiences training at the center and how it has altered and influenced their wrestling styles.

Morgan: “I feel like when I started coming, that’s when I really noticed improvements in my wrestling and my performances. You know, just practicing something gives you the confidence that you’re doing better, even if you’re not improving yet. You know what I mean? So just me coming here every single week and spending three hours, it’s like old school sh*t. You just get down to work.”

Dragunov: “First of all, the dungeon has a very big place in my heart because after my ACL tear, I definitely was looking out for a place where I can prepare myself for my comeback, and I picked The Dungeon for it because i have a lot of respect for what TJ and Nattie are putting into the business.”

Fatu: “TJ’s just always boosting me up, always just teaching me the right things, but also since Natalya, man, as soon as I’m up in there, she ain’t giving me the superstar treatment or she ain’t giving me none of that just because I’m on TV. She actually pushes me. It’s something that I need.”

B-Fab: “Being able to be here and just work on stuff, work on stuff that I’m working on, try new stuff, like just be able to just open myself up, make the ring my canvas, and just paint whatever I want to paint, as well as getting, you know, a good foundation built in, being able to remember things, so many great things we get from coming to the Dungeon.”

Over the years, The Dungeon has had several wrestlers across promotions to hone their in-ring skills. Last year, John Cena visited the training camp to impart wisdom about the industry and knowledge he picked up during his wrestling career.

Natalya has often emphasized the Dungeon is not just another wrestling school but rather her and Wilson’s ‘love letter to wrestling’.

Jade Cargill forms new faction on WWE SmackDown

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill has brought in some backup before her match against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42.

Cargill and Ripley confronted each other in the ring in tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Ripley finally decided she was done talking and wanted to fight, but Cargill declined and started to leave.

Her exit was blocked, however, by Michin and B-Fab. The duo teased a showdown with Cargill, but then stood beside her, and eventually the three of them surrounded Ripley in the ring.

Ripley stood her ground and hit B-Fab with a superkick but was soon overwhelmed and taken out. Jade finished her off with Jaded and posed over her prone body. Wade Barrett referred to Cargill as “the ringleader of the Tormentors,” perhaps hinting at the name of this new faction.

The new union came out of nowhere because Michin and B-Fab have been feuding with Cargill for the last several months. In fact, the last TV match for each of them was a loss to Cargill—last week for Michin, and in November for B-Fab.

Ripley earned a title shot against Cargill by winning the Elimination Chamber match on the last day of February. The two have never been in the same match before.

Michin & B-Fab return to TV on WWE SmackDown

Michin and B-Fab are finally back on WWE SmackDown.

On Friday, during the February 20 episode of SmackDown, fans witnessed the return of Michin and B-Fab. The duo confronted WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill in a backstage segment.

Backstage, Cargill crossed paths with B-Fab and asked if she wanted a shot at her title. B-Fab showed interest but claimed that she was in line behind others, just as Michin made a dramatic entrance.

Arriving with a kendo stick, Michin recalled her rivalry with Cargill from a few months ago and called her out for injuring her. In the closing moments of the segment, Michin even successfully scared Cargill with her kendo stick, as the champion flinched when she moved her weapon.

During the 2025 holiday tour, Michin suffered an injury while competing against Jade Cargill. The two were originally scheduled to face each other on the January 2 edition of SmackDown, but the match was scrapped due to the setback.

Shortly after, on January 1st, at a live event, B-Fab also competed against Jade Cargill, before suffering an injury of her own as well.

Report: Another WWE wrestler feared injured

Another WWE wrestler could be injured.

Fightful Select reported on Sunday that B-Fab may have sustained an injury during the WWE holiday house show tour last week. According to the report, WWE officials feared that she may have suffered a concussion. Fightful wasn’t sure if B-Fab was actually injured or if WWE was just being cautious.

B-Fab replaced Michin on the tour after she suffered a shoulder injury earlier in the week. On SmackDown, a match between Jade Cargill and Michin was called off, with Cargill in an interview saying she had intentionally injured Michin in order to send a message. Michin posted a video on social media saying she would only be out temporarily.

Michin had confronted Jade Cargill about her attitude in the weeks following Cargill’s WWE Women’s Championship win. It was said that if she had been successful in her singles match against Cargill on Friday, she would have earned a future title match.

Both AEW and WWE have seen a recent string of injuries. It was reported last week that Sheamus had undergone successful shoulder surgery after being removed from the Last Time Is Now tournament. Luchasaurus was also written off AEW television after suffering a shoulder injury.

Alba Fyre advances in WWE Speed tournament

A new number one contender’s tournament began on WWE Speed today with Alba Fyre prevailing over B-Fab in a first-round match.

Taped last Friday at SmackDown, the match ended with Fyre using a Gory Bomb to get the victory with 30 seconds remaining of the three-minute time limit. B-Fab had momentum on her side in the final minute after a pump kick, but Fyre was able to counter with a superkick before hitting the Gory Bomb.

The tournament continues this Friday with an opening-round match between NXT wrestlers Thea Hail and Nikkita Lyons. The winner advances to face Fyre next Friday to determine the next challenger for Women’s WWE Speed Champion Sol Ruca.

Ruca currently holds both the Speed Championship and NXT Women’s North American Championship. She’s the second wrestler to ever hold the Women’s Speed title, dethroning inaugural champ Candice LeRae back in April. Ruca’s only title defense so far was a victory over Ivy Nile.

Fyre (the former Kay Lee Ray) is a heel on the SmackDown roster, aligned with Chelsea Green and Piper Niven as one of Green’s “Secret Hervice” agents.

Rey Fenix to debut on next week’s WWE SmackDown

A big debut is set for next week’s SmackDown.

WWE’s return to the United States in Chicago will see the debut of Rey Fenix. A third vignette for Fenix aired on SmackDown showcasing the high-fying star in full for the first time, focusing on his tattoos and moving around in the ring, including walking on the ropes.

The former AEW star’s profile was removed from their website earlier this month. Dave Meltzer soon after reported that he was released from his AEW contract and would be heading to WWE “ASAP.” He last wrestled for the company in July of 2024, defeating Tony Nese.

B-Fab will also be in action next week, taking on Naomi. This week’s show saw Michin and B-Fab walk past Jade Cargill in a hallway, showing sympathy to Cargill over Naomi’s recent actions. As the two made their way to the ring for Michin’s match against Charlotte Flair, they were jumped by Naomi, to proceeded to lay both women out until Cargill made the save.

The updated lineup for next week’s SmackDown:

  • Rey Fenix debuts
  • Naomi vs. B-Fab

Natalya defeats B-Fab for second time in WWE Speed tournament

Natalya is advancing in the WWE Speed number one contender’s tournament after another victory over B-Fab.

A matchup between Natalya and Zelina Vega was supposed to take place in this round of the tournament, but it was announced that Vega has been pulled due to injury. In her place, B-Fab — who lost to Natalya in the first round — was added back to the tournament. Natalya defeated her again, reversing a suplex attempt into an inside cradle to get the pin with 22 seconds remaining on the three-minute clock.

It will now be Natalya vs. Michin on Speed next Wednesday (January 1) with the winner earning a shot at WWE Speed Women’s Champion Candice LeRae. This October, LeRae won a tournament to become the inaugural title holder. She has yet to make her first defense of the championship.

Natalya raised B-Fab’s arm in a show of respect after their match today. Backstage, Natalya cut a promo saying she has nothing but love for B-Fab.

“So I’ve got nothing but love for B-Fab, but I taught her everything she knows — I didn’t teach her everything I know,” Natalya said. The two frequently train together, and Natalya has praised B-Fab for how dedicated she is and how much progress she’s made in the ring.

Women’s United States title tournament to begin on WWE SmackDown

WWE’s road to crowning the inaugural Women’s United States Champion begins on SmackDown tonight.

A tournament is being held to determine the first champion, and it starts on tonight’s show with a triple threat match between Candice LeRae, Bayley, and B-Fab. WWE posted a video this afternoon with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis revealing the news.

Aldis unveiled the new Women’s United States title belt one week ago. It will serve as a midcard championship for the SmackDown women’s division. LeRae, Bayley, and B-Fab are the first participants to be confirmed for the tournament.

The new title has been in the works for months. WWE has yet to announce if it will be following through on adding a Women’s Intercontinental title belt for the Raw women’s division.

Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee is the venue for SmackDown tonight. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will be kicking off the episode.

Hit Row return to WWE on SmackDown

Hit Row are officially back.

The former NXT stable appeared on tonight’s SmackDown. Top Dolla and Ashante “Thee” Adonis, accompanied by B-Fab, came to the ring for a squash match, which Dolla and Adonis quickly won. They then re-introduced themselves, with the group finishing the promo by saying they were the OG3.

PWInsider reported on Thursday that WWE were bringing in Adonis and Dolla for Friday’s SmackDown. However, it was unknown at the time if B-Fab would be brought in as well.

The group, along with Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott, formed Hit Row back in May of last year on the NXT brand. In October, they were drafted to SmackDown. However, B-Fab was released on November 4, and a few weeks later the rest of Hit Row were released on November 18. Scott has since reverted back to his Swerve Strickland name and signed with AEW earlier this year, where he is now one half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions with Keith Lee, who was also released from WWE last year.

Hit Row are the latest to be brought back to WWE in recent weeks, with Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and Dexter Lumis all making returns.

Elektra Lopez aligns with Legado del Fantasma on WWE NXT

Elektra Lopez appeared on tonight’s NXT, aligning herself with Legado Del Fantasma.

The main event of tonight’s NXT had Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Raul Mendoza) team up to take on Hit Row (Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott, Ashanti “Thee” Adonis, and Top Dolla). The finish of the match had Lopez come out to confront B-Fab, who was at ringside. Lopez then took out a pipe and attacked B-Fab. As the referee and Scott were distracted, Escobar took the opportunity to roll up Scott for the win.

Lopez is the former Karissa Rivera, who signed with WWE in February of this year. She first appeared on the June 22 edition of NXT, where she lost to Frankie Monet in what was billed as Monet’s “World Premiere Encore”. Previously, Lopez has had matches in Ring of Honor and Impact and is a former Wrestling Superstar Women’s Champion.

Also on tonight’s NXT, Xyon Quinn made his television debut, pinning Boa after Boa was distracted by Mei Ying. Julius and Brutus Creed, twin amateur wrestlers, also appeared in the background of a Malcom Bivens promo tonight, training with Roderick Strong.

Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott introduces Hit Row stable on WWE NXT

Isaiah “Swerve” Scott introduced his new group, Hit Row, on tonight’s NXT.

Hit Row consists of Scott, two other men, and one woman. AJ Francis, who has appeared on A&E’s WWE show Most Wanted Treasures, introduced himself as Top Dolla. Brianna Brandy, who signed with WWE in 2019, introduced herself as B-Fab. Rounding out the group is Ashante “Thee” Adonis, who has appeared regularly on 205 Live in the last year and has been aligned with Scott in the past. During the promo introducing the group, Swerve said he was tired of not being himself and wanted to be around people who think like him.

Members of Hit Row have previously been seen in vignettes, but officially made their debut at the Capitol Wrestling Center last week. Swerve faced Leon Ruff in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Ruff was about to launch off a platform, but Top Dolla grabbed him before he could land and slammed him on the barricade instead, leading Scott to pick up the win.

WWE had trademarked the term “Hit Row Records” on May 6.
