*********

It’s a little early in the month for “Four Leaf Clover” matches, but there’s no time like the present for Ring of Honor! Tonight’s matches are from the first set of “new era” ROH tapings that will happen regularly in Jacksonville and surprisingly not in Tony Khan’s back yard.

Persephone vs Sara Leon

So, ROH definitely has a new look in this new era. One that honestly, harkens back to some of the classic days of ROH, small rooms, loud music, raucous crowds.

And raucous they were as Leon and Persephone locked up with Persephone getting a quick headlock. Leon ran the ropes bug was caught by a dropkick from Persephone. She hit a snapmare on Leon and then stood on her hand while dancing. Like you do.

Leon went for a running knee, but Persephone caught her and countered it into a suplex. Persephone grabbed a hammerlock and drove her knee into Leon’s stomach. Leon fought back, but it was shortlived as Persephone started throwing lariats.

Leon managed to get a headscissor on Persephone and send her into the ropes. She hit her with a knee then threw her with a German suplex for a two count. Leon locked in a rear naked choke but Persephone rolled it over for a two count.

Persephone threw a head butt and then a missile dropkick off the top turnbuckle, but Leon kicked out of the cover at two. Persephone got Leon up for a Crucifix Bomb, but Leon got out of it. Persephone put her away with a spear and then landed the Crucifix for the 1-2-3.

Match Result: Persephone defeated Sara Leon

Komander vs Sidney Akeem

Komander as we know is a former ROH TV Champion and Akeem is a former guy-who-works-at-wwe. But he’s on a 2-match win streak, so that’s good.

They tied up with Akeem getting a wristlock, but Komander reversed it by flipping around the ropes. Akeem was pretty flippy himself and the two tried to catch each other off the ropes. Neither one could, so they stopped for a reset.

Akeem caught Komander with a head scissor and nailed a meteora. Komander had gone for a rollup, but Akeem flipped out of it. Akeem hit a standing moonsault and chopped Komander into the corner. Komander dodged the charge and hit a spingboard crossbody for a two count.

Akeem blocked a DDT then popped up with a kick to Komander’s head. Komander came back with a few of his own. Akeem managed a pumphandle slam/elbow combo but could only get a two count. Akeem hit a Spiccoli Driver, but Komander reset and flipped over him. Akeem, not to be out done, backflipped over and delivered a stunner.

Akeem went up top and went for a senton, but Komander moved and Akeem rolled through. Komander leapt off the top rope with a spingboard dropkick sending Akeem to the outside to receive a suicide dive. Komander tossed him back into the ring and hit his rope-walk moonsault to pick up the victory.

Match Result: Komander defeated Sidney Akeem

Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) w/ Zayda Steel and Christopher Daniels vs Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) w/Isla Dawn

Gibson and Darius kicked things off with a lockup. They traded wristlocks in a lightning fast exchange until Darius dodged a leg sweep and hit an atomic drop. Gibson tagged in Drake and Darious slapped the palm of Dante.

They had their own quick exchange until Drake dropped Dante with a dropdown and then an armbar (darmbar?). Dante managed to get a flying headscissor in, but Drake sent him to the mat via fistfull of hair.

Gibson tagged in, but Dante blocked the double team with hurricanrana. Darius came in to help and fought off Drake, leaving Gibson and Dante to fight. Darius tagged in officially and he and Gibson traded chops.

Drake few across the ring to knock Dante off the apron and send Darius to the outside with some stiff shots. Gibson held him while Drake flew over the top rope and came down on him with a slingshot backbreaker.

Gibson threw Darius back into the ring and held him while Drake sent some fists into his gut. Darius slapped Drake which seemed to make him angry, so he stomped and punched him for a minute before tagging in Gibson.

Gibson went for a pin, but Darius arched his back to get his shoulders off the mat. Gibson responded with a sleeper hold, but Darius fought back but Gibson dragged him down and went for a suplex. Darius blocked it though and when Gibson tried again, he hit a suplex of his own.

Drake and Dante tagged in and the fresh men fought with Dante hitting a springboard dropkick and whipping Drake into the corner. Dante hit a springboard clothesline, followed by a press slam, but Gibson broke up the cover.

Darius and Dante sent Gibson to the outside just in time for Dawn to level Steel, causing a distraction. that gave Drake and Gibson control of the ring, but Dawn and Steel fought into the ring, knocking Drake off the top rope.

That let Darius and Dante get a double team on Gibson with a double facebuster to pick up the win.

Match Result: Top Flight defeated Grizzled Young Veterans

Paid In Full (Big Bill & Brian Keith) vs Kiran Grey and Darian Bengston

Paid In Full decided they’d seen enough of Sky Flight celebrating their win and entered, staring down GYV who paid them off a few weeks ago. No word on if it was Pounds or Dollars.

Anyway, as per usual, Keith started off by throwing his poncho at Bengston, who was in his best Headbangers cosplay for the match. Keith knocked him around the ring a bit, hitting an exploder suplex for a two count.

Bengston caught Keith with an elbow, but Keith came roaring back with a big forearm. Grey tagged in and Bengston held Keith while Grey threw some punches. Bill tagged in and charged at Grey, crushing him in the corner. He hit another big splash in the corner and then axehandled Grey in the chest.

Keith tagged in, but Bill shoved Bengston out of the ring for good measure. Bengston knocked himself out on the railing, and Bill hit a big boot on Grey. Keith made the cover and that was it.

Match Result: Paid In Full defeated Kiran Grey and Darian Bengston

Pure Rules Match: Josh Woods vs Nathan Cruz

Woods is a former ROH Pure Champion and Cruz is a “European superstar.” So that’s cool.

The clock began and Woods threw Cruz around the ring with a could of armdrags into an armbar, forcing Cruz to use a rope break at just 20 seconds in. Cruz tried a wristlock, but Woods easily worked him into a bent arm hold.

Cruz hit a back fist, trying to get some control, but Woods put him on his back and went for a hip toss. Cruz blocked the first three, but the last one sent him tumbling out of the ring. Woods got him back into the ring and a staaaaaaaaaallllling suplex, but Cruz kicked out of the cover at two.

Woods continued to work Cruz’ arm, until Cruz pushed him up against the ropes and Cruz hit a neckbreaker. He stomped a prone Woods, until Woods popped up with a back elbow. That didn’t stop Cruz who hit a back suplex for a two count.

Cruz got Woods in a neck vice, but Woods fought back until Cruz went for a sleeper. Woods turned it unto a judo throw and an arm bar in the middle of the ring, forcing Cruz to tap out at 4:23.

Match Result: Josh Woods defeated Nathan Cruz

-Tommy Billington and Adam Priest were interviewed backstage. Priest complained about The Lethal Swirl, before turning his attention to The Workhorsemen. He said they will come up short and then Billington spoke on Jay Lethal. He warned Lethal that he’s coming for him after they are done with The Workhorsemen.

Adam Priest & Tommy Billington vs The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake)

Priest and Henry kicked things off, with Priest getting control early on. Billington tagged in for a double team and then took over with a shoulder tackle and series of armdrags on Henry. Billington went up top for a picture perfect missile dropkick and a two count.

Priest tagged in and they tried a double suplex, but Drake came through the ropes and caught his partner. They escaped to the outside, and Billington dove after him, but Henry got him with a snap piledriver on the outside.

Henry turned his attention to Priest, slamming his hand on the steps then throwing him back into the ring for some chops. Drake tagged in officially and took over the chopping. Priest fought back though until Drake sent him off the ropes for a shoulder tackle.

He kicked and head butted Priest, standing on his neck and talking trash. Drake hit an insiguri, which should not be possible for a man that size, and got a two count on Priest. Henry tagged back in and fishhooked him until the ref made him stop.

He stomped on Priest’s hand and set him up for a piledriver, but Priest countered it only to find that Billington was still hurting on the outside and couldn’t get to a tag.

That gave the Workhorsemen a chance to wear him down, with Drake hitting an impressive Shining Wizard from behind. Drake hit a senton and tagged in Henry who stomped on a beaten up Priest. BIllington finally got back up on the apron, so Drake dragged Priest to the opposite corner to tag in Henry and continue the assault.

Priest fought back though and got a hot tag to Billington who dropkicked his way into the fray. He sent Drake to the outside to catch a DDT From Priest, and then dove onto Henry on the outside. Henry got abck into the ring and Billington rolled him up once, twice and then finally got him on the thrice.

Match Result: Adam Priest & Tommy Billington defeated The WorkHorsemen

Mina Shirakawa vs Zayda Steel (w/Christopher Daniels and Top Flight)

Steel looked like her earlier fight with Isla Dawn didn’t slow her down much and Shirakawa looked like a neon dream as always.

Steel and Shirakawa locked up off the top with Steel getting a wristlock, but Shirakawa getting a reversal on a Irish whip into the corner. Steel went for a rollup, but Shirakawa wasn’t going down that easy and climbed the ropes for a big kick followed by a sling blade.

Steel went for a kick, but Shirakawa caight her in a Texas Cloverleaf into a backbreaker. Shirakawa smashed Steel’s knee into the mat. Steel tried throwing some forearms but Shirakawa no sold them and knocked her down into a figure four.

Steel rolled them both to the ropes, forcing the hold to be broken. Shirakawa went back to the knee but Steel hit a Thez Press and peppered her head with shots. Steel landed a neckbreaker for a two count and went up top for a crossbody.

Steel tried to get a double underhook, but Shirakawa punched her way out of it. Shirakawa dragged her to the mat and then hit a twisting crossbody over the top rope. Shirakawa went up top again for a missile dropkick and then a sling blade from the opposite corner.

Shirakawa went for the Glamorous Driver, but Steel countered and stacked her up for a two. Shirakawa caught Steel in a dropkick with a dragon screw and then discus elbow. The locked on the figure four in the center of the ring and Steel was forced to tap out.

Match Result: Mina Shirakawa defeated Zayda Steel

-Backstage, ROH Women’s Champion Athena pulled a camera man into her locker room where Deonna Purrazzo was laid out. Athena said that Maya World should take note and then announced that Billie Starkz was going to face Purrazzo for her ROH Pure Title. At some point. Maybe next week? Maybe Global Wars? Who’s to say.

Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson) vs MxM Collection (Mansoor & Mason Madden)

Somehow, the Bang Bang Gang were the silliest looking team in this match. They look like that friend you have that always wears Hawaiian shirts and cargo shorts. Not becuase they were wearing them, but they just looked like they had that vibe.

Anyway, MxM were without the newly shorn Johnny TV and gave everyone the tip touching they deserved. Robinson picked his nose and then touched Mansoor’s tip. Gross.

The match started and they locked up with Mansoor’s wristlock winning out. He moved into a flexing armbar and did some hari pulling until Robinson counterd with a few wristlock flips of his own. Robinson hit an inverted Atomic Drop and then hit a re-verted Atomic Drop for good measure.

Robinson’s crotch-based offense continued with a knee to the groin followed by a suplex before tagging in Gunn. Mansoor resorted to biting Gunn, and Gunn ran the ropes, eventually tripping him up. Gunn threw some jabs and a satellite DDT, with Madden coming in to break up the cover.

That let Mansoor get him a tag and Madden laid out Gunn in the corner. He hoisted Gunn up on his shoulder, but Robinson got a blind tag and the two double teamed the larger Madden. They traded splashes in the corner and then tried to double suplex him.

Madden blocked it though and managed to hit a Mansoor assisted double suplex on them both. Mansoor tagged in and stomped Gunn, returning the nut-shot favor. Madden tagged back in and they double teamed Gunn, posing when appropriate.

Madden sent Gunn to the corner, holding him there with a foot. Mansoor tagged back in, preventing a tag and stomping Gunn’s arm. Gunn managed to scoop Mansoor up for a two count, but couldn’t get a tag to Robinson. Mansoor back body dropped Gunn and tagged in Madden instead.

Madden picked up Gunn and Mansoor hit a leg drop over Madden’s knee on him. Madden dropped a few elbows then went for one off the second rope, but Gunn moved out of the way. Hot tags were made to Mansoor and Robinson and Robinson hit another atomic drop and some jabs.

He hit yet another Atomic Drop and sent Mansoor into the corner. Mansoor got his foot up and leapt after him, but Robinson hit him in the shnuts again. Then he hung him up on the ropes, crotch first. MAdden tried to help, but ended up next to his partner straddling the ropes. Gunn and Robinson shook the ropes and then sent Madden off the ropes. Madden caught them both with a double spear.

Robinson and Gunn finally hit the double suplex and then Robinson threw Mansoor onto Madden before hitting another Atomic Drop. Robinson pinned Mansoor and that was it for his ability to have kids. Also, the Bang Bang Gang won the match.

Match Result: Bang Bang Gang defeated MxM Collection

-Backstage, the ROH Tag Team Champions, Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos addressed the crowd. Guevara said that they were the best and that his back-to-back-to-back title reign has never been seen before. He said that Tony Khan said they have to defend their belts, so he issued an open challenge for any former world tag team champions to step up and get stepped on.

Lacey Lane vs Robyn Renegade

Renegade had the size advantage in this match and used it to throw Lane off of her a couple of times. Lane came back with a kick to the gut and wrist lock throw. Renegade came back with a dropkick and charged, but Lane dodged and sent her through the ropes.

Renegade rolled out of the ring and Lane nailed her with a baseball slide. Lane threw her back into the ring, but as Lane was climbing back through the ropes, Renegade stomped her head to the mat. Renegade hit her with a facebuster, but Lane kicked out at two.

Lane tried to roll Renegade up, but Renegade swatted her off. Lane took a neckbreaker, but was able to kick out at two. Lane came up with some back elbows to pick up some momentum. Renegade got a fistfull of her hair, but that just seemed to make Lane mad as she DDT’d her.

The two traded blocked suplexes until Renegade tried a big shot to face. Lane came back with a crescent kick and a Spiccoli driver into a leg drop to pick up the win.

Match Result: Lacey Lane defeated Robyn Renegade

Four Leaf Clover Four Corner Survival Elimination Match: AR Fox vs Lee Johnson vs Matt Menard vs Shane Taylor

So, this match would be an elimination match, with the winner getting an “immediate” title shot against “any champion anywhere in the world of wrestling.” There would only be two men in the ring at a time though, the others forced to tag in and out. So, thats neat. Also nice to see the richest man in wrestling, AR Fox returning.

During his entrance, Lee Johnson was referred to as from “The Lethal Twist” which is a) way worse and b) way to close to my trademarked “Lethal Swirl.”

The bell rang and everyone took a moment to size everyone else up. Menard and Taylor started off with Taylor sending Menard to the corner and saying he was too “greasy.” In spite of that, they locked up with Menard ending up in the corner. He thumbed the eye of Taylor to get an advantage, but couldn’t get the big man off his feet.

Taylor hit a shoulder tackle on Menard then dropped a very big elbow. Johnson got a blind tag to Taylor, which meant Fox also had to come in?

Anyway, they tied up with Johnson flipping out of Fox’s wristlock. The two chain wrestled with neither getting the advantage. Fox swept a leg and tried for a cover, but Johnson kicked out. The two jumped and ran around the ring until Taylor pulled Fox out of the ring and slammed him into the barricade.

Johnson followed for some reason and Taylor hit a Tower of London on the ring apron (the crumpetest part of the ring!). Taylor and Menard returned to fighting in the ring, but also AR Fox was there and then Johnson, so who knows who was legal and what tags mean anymore.

Taylor knocked down Fox and Johnson, but Menard landed a DDT. Fox powered up just in time to get book-ended by Taylor, who then swiftly eliminated… Menard. This was a very weird match.

Taylor chopped Fox in the corner, then refused to do it a second time to mess with the audience. Fox used the moment to send Taylor and Johnson out of the ring to hit a really impressive spingboard inverted shooting star press on both of them on the outside.

Fox threw Taylor back in the ring (in spite of the fact the much lighter Johnson was right there) and got a two count. Taylor fought back with some punches and a big splash in the corner. He did the same to Johnson, but on the ricochet, Fox rolled him up and eliminated Taylor!

That gave Johnson a chance to shine and he took Fox to the mat so he could gently kick him in the face. Johnson chopped Fox, who grabbed the ropes to prevent an Irish Whip. Fox hit a neckbreaker, picking up some momentum. He landed a powerbomb, but Johnson kicked out at two.

Fox went up top and went for a swanton, but Johnson got his knees up. He sent Fox to the corner for a hell of a kick and then they traded superkicks in the middle of the ring. Johnson got a brainbuster out of nowhere, and scooted up the turnbuckles.

Fox popped up and threw some forearms before going for a DDT. Johnson countered it though and hit a frog splash from the top turnbuckle. Somehow, Fox kicked out at two.

Johnson went for a fisherman’s suplex, but Fox blocked it. Fox went up top and hit a 450, getting the pin and winning the match.

Match Result: AR Fox defeated Lee Johnson, Matt Menard and Shane Taylor

Earning him an INSTANT championship match against:

AEW International Title Match: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs AR Fox

Okada charged off the bell and drove Fox into the corner. Okada beat on Fox, hanging him up on the ropes by the throat. He rolled him out of the ring and Fox landed hard, clutching his knee. Okada DDT’d him on the floor and rolled back into the ring to break the count.

Okada tossed Fox back into the ring and Fox came up with some shots to the gut. Okada DDT’ed him in the middle of the ring about it, but could only get a two count. Fox came up with some forearms and Okada ate a kick. Fox DDT’d him through the ropes and then threw a lariat or three.

Okada was dazed as Fox hit elbows in the corner. He rolled through into a cutter, but Okada kicked out at two. Okada caught Fox in the air and dropped him on his head, followed by a scoop slam.

Okada went up top and hit a falling elbow. He threw a middle finger at the crowd and Fox tried to steal one via rollup. Okada kicked out and Fox kicked him. Fox went up top and nailed a 450, but Okada kicked out at two.

Fox went for a high impact move, but Okada caught him in midair, but Fox ducked two Rainmakers. He couldn’t avoid the third though and Okada nailed him and got the three count.

Match Result: Kazuchika Okada defeated AR Fox

OK, it’s a new era in ROH, so here are my Yay and Boo impressions:

Yay! – The wrestling was great as always!

Boo – There was way too much of it. Two hours, almost no breaks and 10+ matches are simply too long for this show.

Yay! – The new intimate setting is great for bringing back that “indie” feel to the show.

Boo – They need to have way more people in the audience and to lose the large white backdrop.

Yay! – There seemed to be little tidbits of story throughout the show!

Boo – The Four Leaf Clover Match into an Instant Championship match was not great. The rules weren’t clearly spelled out and it kinda seems unfair to the winner to have to face a Champion INSTANTLY after a match like that.

Yay! – There’s a ton of potential here for Tony Khan to turn ROH into the indie darling it started out as, so hopefully we will see incremental changes and improvements that bring Ring of Honor to a whole new level!

Lee Moriarty felt ‘weird’ about breaking Nigel McGuinness ROH record

Despite being the longest-reigning champion in the title’s history, Lee Moriarty doesn’t consider himself the greatest ROH Pure Champion of all time.

Moriarty has now been ROH Pure Champion for more than 580 days. He blew past the previous record in 2025 when he surpassed Nigel McGuinness’ 350-day reign with the belt. Breaking that record was a “weird” feeling for Moriarty, who holds McGuinness in very high esteem.

“It’s one of those things where it means a lot, but I also kind of feel weird about it because of the respect I have for the people that came before me with the title,” Moriarty said on AEW Unrestricted. “So I always feel weird about breaking other records because I hold them in such high reverence.

“Yeah, I’ve held the title for so long and I’ve defended it, I think, 12 times now. And that’s really cool. Personally, I still consider Nigel to be the greatest Pure Champion of all time because while he’s held it in 350 days, he defended it 17 times. He was the first person to defend it internationally. There’s all these other great things that I’m trying to live up to that and still elevate it, even though I’ve already been breaking records myself where I’ve defended it in Australia and Mexico for the first time and breaking the record with the time.”

Moriarty and McGuiness faced off for the title at ROH Final Battle 2025 with Moriarty getting the victory. That was a special moment for Moriarty, and he considers it one of the top 5-10 highlights of his career so far.

“Hella thank yous,” Moriarty responded when asked what their conversation was like after the match. “Just like… in disbelief and shock.”

The ROH Pure Championship was established in 2004 with a ruleset geared toward technical wrestling. A women’s version of the belt was introduced recently with Deonna Purrazzo becoming the inaugural champion.

Moriarty told AEW Unrestricted that Samoa Joe and Kosei Fujita are two dream opponents he’d love to defend the Pure title against. His biggest ambition in wrestling is to leave the industry better than he found it, and Moriarty’s goal for his title reign is to help advance the cause of pure wrestling.

ROH television is entering a new era with standalone tapings held at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida. Moriarty had a title defense on the first taping. Spoilers can be found here.

Report: AEW wrestler set to enter free agency

An AEW wrestler will soon become a free agent.

Frost began regularly appearing on AEW television in 2023, challenging for the TBS Championship twice, losing to both Kris Statlander and Julia Hart. During most of her tenure she wrestled on ROH. Former WWE & NXT wrestler reportedly has been under AEW contract for six months

The former Ashante “Thee” Adonis is officially under AEW contract and has been for six months, according to Fightful Select.

Tehuti Miles debuted during Sunday’s Ring of Honor TV tapings in Jacksonville, Florida, with the outlet noting he actually signed with AEW the first week of September.

Miles hadn’t wrestled anywhere since a loss to Ricky Saints last June on WWE NXT. His deal ran out on August 10 and signed with his new home a month later. It’s unclear what took so long for him to make his debut or why he didn’t work any indie dates.

The 36-year-old signed with WWE in 2019, debuting in NXT. He worked frequently on the 205 Live show and eventually was part of Hit Row along with Swerve Strickland (then Isaiah Scott), AJ Francis (then Top Dolla) and B-Fab, who is the only remaining member left within WWE.

He, Francis and B-Fab were eventually called up to the main roster in August 2022 before returning to NXT in the summer of 2024. He never held either WWE or NXT gold.

Tony Khan confirms ROH staying in Jacksonville moving forward

Ring of Honor is staying in Jacksonville.

During Sunday’s tapings at WJCT Studios, Tony Khan came out and announced that Jacksonville was the new home of ROH, and the promotion would be returning to the building on March 22 for another set of tapings. WJCT is the PBS affiliate in Jacksonville.

AEW listed the tapings last weekend, where tickets to the show were free.

“On Sunday March 1st, Ring of Honor storms into WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, FL for a special afternoon of HonorClub tapings and you can be there live, for FREE!,” the website said. “Fill out your registration form for up to four free tickets and have the stars of ROH bring you out of your seat with incredible action that only they can deliver!”

Since Tony Khan’s purchase of the promotion, ROH has mainly taped prior to or after AEW’s television shows, airing each Thursday on Honor Club. Bandido, the current ROH World Champion, is scheduled to wrestle Andrade el Idolo at AEW Revolution on March 15. He has been out of action since February with a minor injury.

****************

On this the 26th day of the second month of the year of our Lord 2026, it’s going to be really fun to see how ROH fits 40lbs of matches into a 10lb bag. Two title matchs, a proving ground match, 8 man and 6 man tags, it’s going to be a good night for fight’s and tights!

The show kicked off with the Infantry, Trish Adora and Tall Lady Who’s Name I Forget talking about how great Adora is going to do in her match tonight against Deonna Purrazzo. Adora said that Purrazzo has be lucky up until now and her luck ends tonight.

JD Drake vs Adam Priest

I swear if you had asked me if this match had already aired on ROH, I’d have to say yes. However, I’d be wrong, so tonight we get to see these two powerhouses face off.

Drake actually called out Priest two weeks ago, and as the match started Drake over powered Priest, throwing him to the mat twice and then no-selling a chop. Drake knocked Priest down every time he got back up, clearly in control in the early going.

Priest managed to get a spinning kick in, sending Drake out of the ring. Priest dropkicked him through the ropes, but Drake came back and dropped a hammer across the skull of Priest. He threw him back in the ring and crushed him with a senton.

Drake hit a drop-down head butt and Priest came up swinging. Priest tried a sunset flip, but Drake turned it into a leg drop over Priest’s throat. Drake manhandled Priest, sending him to the corner and choking him on the ropes.

Priest came back with some chops, but Drake dodged it. Priest tried another sunset, but Drake countered again with a leg drop. This time though, Priest got out from underneath, causing Drake to hurt his butt, I guess.

Either way, that changed the momentum and Priest was able to get a satellite DDT in for a two count. Priest went back up top, but Drake shoved the ref into the ropes to knock him off. Drake went up for a superplex, but Priest countered it into a sunset bomb for another two count.

Priest went for suplex, but Drake countered witha shining wizard followed by a lariat to the ear. Drake started screaming for Priest to “stay down!” but I don’t think Priest heard him because he rolled up Drake and stole the win.

Match Result: Adam Priest defeated JD Drake

TMDK (Bad Dude Tito & Shane Haste) vs The Frat House (Cole Karter & Griff Garrison) w/ Jacked Jameson and Preston Vance

I’ve never been happier to see TMDK because it meant that most if not all of the Frat House were about to get punched in the face.

Garrison and Karter jumped Tito off the bell and double teamed him with some fast tags. Karter hoisted him up on his shoulders and Garrison came off the ropes with a a dropkick. Tito started fighting back though, chopping both Fratters until Garrison kicked him in the gut. He then launched both men across the ring with a double underhook suplex.

Haste tagged in and made short work of Karter with the highest cannonball in the corner I’ve ever seen. Karter came back with an elbow, but Haste countered with a falcon arrow. Tito tagged back in and he and Garrison fought until Tito suplexed him across the ring.

Garrison slid out, so Tito dove after him, taking out the frat house. In the ring Haste hit a spinning slam on Karter and that was it. TMDK gets the win.

Match Result: TMDK defeated The Frat House

ROH Women’s World Television Title Match: Red Velvet (c) vs Zayda Steel

Steel has been touted as a blue chipper, but to be honest I don’t think I’ve ever seen her win a match. Hanging out with Christopher Daniels should change that though.

The two locked up off the top, with Steel holding her own against Velvet. She grabbed a wasitlock, but Velvet reversed it into a headlock. Steel reversed that, and then dropped Velvet with a shoulder block.

Steel came off the ropes and Velvet took her down with an armdrag into an arm bar. Steel sent Velvet into the corner and tried to get her with a backslide, but Velvet kicked out at two. Steel rolled her up again, but only got a two count.

They locked up and rolled around the ring, pinning combinations going back and forth untl Steel begged off. Velvet knocked her down with a big scissor kick and tried a cover for a two count.

Steel caught Velvet with a lungblower off the ropes followed by a code breaker. The two traded shots in the corners with Velvet getting a big knee, then Steel responding with one of her own. Velvet caught her though and hit a powerbomb for a two count.

Steel hit a heel kick to the head, knocking Velvet to the mat. Steel dragged her to the corner, but Velvet came back with a power bomb of sorts. Steel hoisted Velvet up for a swinging slam, but could only get a two count.

Velvet started throwing hands and then a spinning kick to the face. Steel slumped over and Velvet grabbed the pin and the victory.

Match Result: Red Velvet defeated Zayda Steel

-TMDK cut a promo in the back about how they are back in ROH. The Infantry showed up and called them “fartsniffers” before all of Shane Taylor Promotions jumped them. Shane Taylor told TMDK to tell Robbie Eagles that talking trash online gets people hurt. Then they left.

Eight Man Tag Team Match: Big Bill, Bryan Keith & Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) (w/Isla Dawn) vs Che Cabrera, CJ Tino, Dom Kubrick & Richie Slade

Every time I see Big Bill and what great shape he’s in these days I can’t help but wonder why he’s not a bigger deal in the AEW/ROH universe.

Anyway, Keith started off against Slade, throwing his poncho on him to get the advantage. Keith hit a big boot tot he face and Kubrick tagged in. Drake caught a tag from Keith and came in to trade blows with Kubrick. Drake eventually knocked him down and Gibson came in so they could double team him.

Gibson threw some stiff forearms in the corner, and Cabrera tagged in. Big Bill took a tag from Gibson and Cabrera started throwing elbows. Bill no-sold them and then knocked him down with a lariat followed by a splash in the corner.

Bill tagged Gibson back in and Cabrera caught him with a chinbreaker. Cabrera tagged in Tino, who tagged in Kubrick. Drake and Gibson took him out easily with a double team. Bill and Keith came in and threw tandem big boots at Kubrick. Bill made the pin and that was it.

Match Result: Big Bill, Bryan Keith & Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Che Cabrera, CJ Tino, Dom Kubrick & Richie Slade

After the match, Drake handed Bill a stack of cash, insinuating that they were mercenaries for the Vets. Suddenly, Sky Flight arrived for their six-man match. They stared down the Vets, Bill and Keith as they made their way to the ring.

Six Man Tag Team Match: SkyFlight (Dante Martin, Darius Martin & Scorpio Sky) vs Los Suavecitos (Adrian Quest, Danny Rose & Ricky Gee)

Los Suavecitos looked like what would happen if you split TJ Perkins into the three people and called them a team.

Sky started off against Quest, who kicked away the Code of Honor. Sky got a wristlock, but Quest reversed it quickly. Sky got out of it and came of the ropes for the two to trade arm drags. Quest went for a back drop, but Sky double stomped him instead. Dante tagged in and brought Darius with him.

They double teamed Quest with Darius arm dragging him face first tot he mat. Quest resorted to hair pulling and Gee and Rose came in to help him triple team Darius. Rose tried a headlock, but Darius just stood up. Gee tagged in and hit a sunset bomb for a two count.

Darius got a hot tag to Dante who cleared the ring, hitting a springboard dropkick on Gee. Gee charged into the corner, but Dante dodged it and hit a splash from up top. Quest and Rose came in, but Sky cut them off with a double clothesline.

Sky threw Quest into the corner for a three-way double knee from all members of Sky Flight. Sky hit a spinebuster on Rose and Darius used the ropes to slingshot Rose into a cutter from Dante. Presumably, those two were legal a Dante made the pin and got the win for his team.

Match Result: SkyFlight defeated Los Suavecitos

Jay Lethal vs Tommy Billington

I don’t think it’s a legal requirement, but when goes an Adam Priest goes a Tommy Billington!

Lethal sucker-kicked Billington off the top and sent him off the ropes. Billington came back with a scoop slam and then a missile dropkick to regain control. Lethal rolled out of the ring and Billington dove after him. He threw Lethal back into the ring and hit a back body drop for a near fall.

The two fought over top of the ropes with Lethal coming out on top and suplexing him on the ring apron (the Billingtonest part of the ring!). Lethal then dropped Billington from the apron with. DDT and rolled back in the ring. Billington did the same to beat the count.

Billington started throwing chops, driving Lethal into the corner. Lethal countered with a suplex and set Billington into the corner for a chop or two of his own. Lethal began dropping elbows on Billington’s knee, trying to take out his high flying ability.

Lethal locked in a figure four and Billington dragged them both to the ropes to break the hold. Lethal went up top, but before he could do anything, Billington rolled away. Billington rolled from corner to corner avoiding Lethal’s attacks from the top turnbuckle until he scrambled up and caught him in a superplex.

They started throwing forearms in the center of the ring. Lethal hit a Lethal Combination and went up top to hit an elbow, but Billington caught him in a crossface in the center of the ring. Suddenly, Lee Johnson and Blake Christian arrived to cause a distraction. That let Lethal hit a Lethal Injection and pick up the win.

Match Result: Jay Lethal defeated Tommy Billington

Satnam Singh vs Jordan Oasis

(sigh) The “one in a billion” Singh came to the ring to do that “one in one” match he does.

The bell rang. Oasis ran at Singh, and he pushed him over. Then Oasis ran at Singh again and he pushed him over. Again. Throw. Choke. Oasis got a forearm in. Singh pinched Oasis’ traps.

Singh put Oasis in the corner. Chop. Chop. Oasis then surprsingly managed to get Singh off his feet with some kicks, but that didn’t last long.

Oasis threw some punches and then Singh hit a chokeslam.

The end. #LOLSinghwins.

Match Result: Satnam Singh defeated Jordan Oasis

-In the back, ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo cut a promo about how Adora isn’t “pure” because she relies on STP’s help. But she won’t be able to do that in their match tonight.

Persephone vs Johnnie Robbie

Persephone is 4-0 in ROH and Robbie is a very good Diamante cosplayer.

They locked up off the top and Robbie forced Persephone to the ropes. Off those ropes, Robbie caught Persephone with an arm drag. Persephone then fell victim to a hurricanrana, but came back with a double stomp off of a rollup attempt by Robbie.

Persephone sent Robbie to the corner and threw kicks into her gut. She kicked her in the back a bunch and then drove her boot into Robbie’s head before sending her across the ring ith a judo flip.

Persephone got vicious then, fish hooking Robbie then paintbrushing her. That gave Robbie an opening for an uppercut, but Persephone shoved her back into the corner for more stomps. Persephone hit a back elbow then put on a sleeper.

Robbie stood up and threw some elbows into Persephone’s gut, but Persephone came back with a head butt. Robbie connected with a clothesline, but only got a two count. Robbie went for a knee, but Persephone blocked it. She set up Robbie for a power bomb, but Robbie blocked it.

Robbie went up top and hit a crossbody from the top turnbuckle. The comeback was short lived though as Persephone came back and hit a Crucifix Bomb to get the 1-2-3.

Match Result: Persephone defeated Johnnie Robbie

Komander vs Tony Nese (w/Ariya Daivari, Mark Sterling & Stori Denali)

Nese has pledged to rid ROH of Luchadores, but given the sheer amount of Luchadores in ROH, he’s not very good at it. Mark Sterling ran down the crowd, calling for Lucha Libra to be weeded out of ROH.

Nese insisted on a Code of Honor and they tied up. Nese drove Komander into the corner, giving him a good look at his chiseled bicep. Nese hit a back elbow and sent Komander off the ropes. Komander came out of it taking Nese down with an armdrag.

Komander started peppering Nese with body shots, whipping him out of the corner. Nese slid out and Komander hit him with a suicide dive. Sterling started jawing at Komander who went back to hammering on Nese, working his arm.

Nese tried to escape through the crowd, but Komander dragged him back and threw him in the ring. Nese caused a distraction allowing Sterling to stomp Komander. Daivari threw Komander back into the ring where Nese grabbed him an a waistlock.

Komander went for a suplex, but Nese countered it unto a double stomp, followed by a body scissor. Nese held Komander down and threw some forearms at his face. Komander got out of the hold and backed Nese into the corner. Nese wouldn’t let go though and threw Komander into the turnbuckle. He charged, but Komander dodged it.

Komander threw a flurry of kicks and countered a suplex attempt from Nese. Komander planted him with a DDT, but could only get a two count out of it. Komander hit a standing moonsault for another two and then went for a springboard, but Nese got his knees up to block it.

Nese landed a kick to Komander’s head, but only got a two count. Nese set him up for a pump handle, but Komander countered it into a headscissor takedown. Komander hit a DDT off the ropes and went up top. He hit a flipping slam from the top rope and got the pin on Nese to win the match.

Match Result: Komander defeated Tony Nese

ROH World Television Title Proving Ground Match: Nick Wayne (w/Kip Sabian & Mother Wayne) [c] vs Lucas Riley

Wayne is back in ROH for the first time since August. Kip Sabian is back from 1992.

Wayne had some cool nu-metal pants on, which may have helped him snapmare Reily off the top. Riley went for a wristlock, but Wayne countered by throwing him across the ring. Riley hit a headscissor and threw some big elbows in the corner, but Wayne blocked a suplex and threw him back into the corner head first.

Wayne threw some chops and dropped some legs, looking to put Riley away fast. Riley hit a Michinoku Driver out of nowhere and went up top for a swanton. Wayne got the knees up though and hit a dragon suplex for a two count.

Wayne whiffed a kick and Riley rolled him up for a quick two. Riley hit a Casadora, but went too fast an Wayne knocked him right the heck out with a kick to end his proving ground dreams.

Match Result: Nick Wayne defeated Lucas Riley

ROH Women’s Pure Title Match: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Trish Adora

Purrazzo and Adora entered into an extended feeling out process, going back and forth until Adora accidentally used her first rope break at 57:37.

Adora got Purrazzo up into an Air Raid Crash position, stretching her in the center of the ring. Adora dropped her to the wring, working the wrist. Adora went to the shoulder next, driving down onto it, wrenching Purrazzo into a two count.

Adora threw her glutes at Purrazzo in the corner and then dragged her to her feet to throw some forearms. Purrazzo fought back, and came off the ropes with a clothesline. Purrazzo locked on a fujiwara forcing Adora to use her second rope break at 53:37.

Adora tried to go back to the arm, snapping it down and going for a german. Purrazzo countered it, but Adora got a bridge suplex on for a two count. Adora put Purrazzo on hher shoulders, but Purrazzo countered it into a powerbomb.

Adora took control and landed a Lariat Tubman, but didn’t have the power behind it to get Purrazzo for good. Adora went for a second one, but Purrazzo ducked it and brought her to the mat with a drop toe hold. She locked on the Fujiwara again and wrenched Adora until she had no choice but to tap out.

Match Result: Deonna Purrazzo defeated Trish Adora

After the match Diamante and Billie Starkz showed up and attacked Purrazzo. Adora reluctantly joined in, and the three stomped the Pure Champion in the center of the ring. Then Billie Starkz’ music played to end the segment for some reason.

In a patented MCU after-credits scene, ROH Women’s Champion Athena cut a promo about how she hates that Purrazzo is the Pure Champion. Her minions (Starkz and Diamante) are far more worthy. Then she turned her attention to Maya World, claiming she embarrassed her at MPX vs ROH Global Wars. Athena offered her a proving ground match so she could teach her a lesson and the show ended.

Deonna Purrazzo set for first ROH Women’s Pure title defense

Deonna Purrazzo’s first defense of the ROH Women’s Pure Championship is set.

Purrazzo will defend the title against Trish Adora of The Infantry and Shane Taylor Promotions. The match will air on Honor Club. It was taped on Saturday at AEW’s live episode of Collision in Oceanside, California.

On the January 22 edition of ROH on Honor Club, Purrazzo issued an open challenge for the title. One month later, Ring of Honor’s social media accounts announced that Adora has accepted.

ROH wrote:

“The open challenge was issued and accepted! The #ROH Women’s Pure Champion @DeonnaPurrazzo takes on @TrishAdora202 of STP!”

The title match comes after Purrazzo was critical of the lack of defenses she’s had since winning the belt at ROH Final Battle on December 5.

In a recent interview with BCP+, Purrazzo called her inactivity “really defeating.”

“I think I’m a little disappointed to not have defended my championship yet. I am constantly trying to rack my brain of like what else can I do and what more can I do and how much more of myself can I give? And for that not to be reciprocated in any environment, not just in Ring of Honor, is really defeating for me.

Ring of Honor has also announced that it will hold standalone TV tapings in Jacksonville, Florida, on the afternoon of Sunday, March 1. It will be the first time the promotion has run standalone ROH tapings in two years.

Mauro Ranallo to call ROH/MLP Global Wars event

For the first time ever, Mauro Ranallo is set to call an AEW/ROH-associated event.

It was announced today that Ranallo will be part of the broadcast team for Global Wars Canada, working with Ian Riccaboni and Don Callis on the commentary team. The show is being co-promoted by ROH and Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling and will take place in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on Friday, March 27.

A joint press release announcing Ranallo’s inclusion on the commentary team includes quotes from both Tony Khan and Scott D’Amore.

“Ring of Honor has always been defined by excellence both in the ring and on the microphone,” Khan said. “Mauro Ranallo’s return alongside Ian Riccaboni and Don Callis brings together three of the best voices in professional wrestling today. Global Wars represents a major moment in the continued partnership between Ring of Honor and Maple Leaf Pro, and we’re proud to present this event to fans around the world on WatchROH.com.”

“Having Mauro Ranallo return to Maple Leaf Pro is a tremendous moment for our company,” D’Amore said. “Mauro is one of the great broadcast voices in combat sports. Pairing Mauro with Ian Riccaboni and All Elite Wrestling star Don Callis creates an all-star booth worthy of the Global Wars stage and reflects the strength and international scope of our partnership with Ring of Honor.”

Ranallo is a combat sports announcer who has previously worked for WWE and NJPW. He was the subject of the 2018 Showtime documentary “Bipolar Rock ‘N Roller,” where he opened up about his struggle with bipolar disorder.

St. Clair College in Windsor is hosting Global Wars on March 27 and then MLP’s Uprising event on March 28. Ranallo will not be on commentary for Uprising due to a prior commitment with Premier Boxing Champions. Riccaboni and Callis will be handling commentary that night.

Maple Leaf Pro is a classic Canadian wrestling brand that was revived by D’Amore in 2024 following his departure from TNA Wrestling.

Wrestler returns from injury during ROH television tapings

Nick Wayne is back.

The ROH Television Champion made his return during Saturday’s Ring of Honor tapings, defeating Lucas Riley in a Proving Ground match. He was accompanied by Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian and had been out of action since July recovering from a broken foot.

Despite being gone for so long, Tony Khan chose not to create an interim Television Champion during Wayne’s injury. He did note in December that if he had known how long Wayne was going to be out, he might have chosen the interim title route, similar to when ROH Women’s Television Champion Red Velvet was out of action.

Here are the complete spoilers for ROH courtesy of PWInsider:

  • Jay Lethal defeated Tommy Billington
  • Satnam Singh defeated an unnamed local
  • TMDK (Shane Haste & Bad Dude Tito) defeated The Frat House (Griff Garrison & Cole Carter)
  • Red Velvet defeated Zayda Steel to retain the ROH Women’s Television title
  • Big Bill, Bryan Keith, and Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Dom Kubrick, Che Cabrera, and a local talent.
  • Sky Flight (Scorpio Sky and Darius & Dante Martin) defeated Adrian Quest & The Homies
  • Persephone defeated Jonnie Robbie
  • ROH TV title Proving Ground match: Nick Wayne defeated Lucas Riley
  • Deonna Purrazzo defeated Trish Adora to retain the ROH Women’s Pure title. After the match, Billie Starks and Diamante attacked Purrazzo.
  • Komander defeated Tony Nese

Report: Update on Charli Evans’ AEW status

29-year-old Australian Indie wrestler Charli Evans recently wrestled on ROH, shortly after which a report on her AEW status was out.

Following her recent match against Mina Shirakawa on ROH, rumors emerged about Evans possibly signing a deal with AEW. While rumors emerged about her possibly signing a deal, Fightful Select reported an update on her status. According to Fightful Select’s AEW sources, Evans has not signed to Tony Khan’s promotion, despite her appearance on ROH.

On February 14th, 2026, Evans wrestled Shirakawa in Sydney, Australia, on her ROH debut. Following a defeat, she again wrestled The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter) while teaming up with Kyla Knight at AEW House Rules Australia.

Actively wrestling across the Australian indie circuit, she has been a part of a total of 467 matches, as per Cagematch.

Deonna Purrazzo calls ROH inactivity ‘really upsetting’

Deonna Purrazzo says she is disappointed to not have defended her ROH Women’s Pure Championship yet.

Purrazzo defeated Billie Starkz to become the inaugural champion at ROH Final Battle 2025 on December 5, but has yet to defend the title. Her only match so far in 2026 has been a six-person tag at the January 31 Ring of Honor tapings at the Esports Stadium in Arlington.

During an interview with BCP+, Purrazzo was asked about her title reign thus far and responded:

“I think I’m a little disappointed to not have defended my championship yet. I am constantly trying to rack my brain of like what else can I do and what more can I do and how much more of myself can I give? And for that not to be reciprocated in any environment, not just in Ring of Honor, is really defeating for me.

A lot of my self-worth comes from my work and my body of work and being able to participate actively and feel like I’m making a difference in women’s wrestling.”

“I don’t know what else I can do to change that. So for me it was saying, okay, if I’m not going to get these opportunities here, I need to stay ready. I need to stay crisp for when they do come.”

On the January 22nd edition of ROH on HonorClub, a backstage segment with Purrazzo issuing an open challenge for her title aired. However, the segment has not been followed up on.

On February 10, Purrazzo posted to social media that she is accepting independent bookings.

Purrazzo continued:

“It’s really defeating. It’s really upsetting. But at the end of the day, this is a business and I have to continue to run my own, at whatever stakes that costs. For me and Steve, it’s being able to give back and doing all this advocacy work through Tunnel to Towers and through the New Jersey education systems. And now I need to do that in my wrestling life, and that’s taking independent bookings and staying busy and staying active.”

Purrazzo’s full interview is available below. The video is cued to her comments about her title reign thus far.

***************

G’day mates! Welcome to a ripper of a show from down unda! Let’s not be clucky about these fair dinkum awesome matches as we watch some boomer blokes take on some dodgy drongos!

Hopefully none of that was too offensive. If it was, I’ll defo get nicked.

Tonight’s Ring of Honor has about 10 lbs of wrestling in it’s 5 lb bag, so let’s get into it!

Zayda Steel (w/Christopher Daniels) vs Johnnie Robbie

So, ROH is making a liar out of me right out of the gate as this match was taped in Ontario, California, the second coolest Ontario in North America.

Steel and Robbie came out swinging, delivering a kick and a slap repsectively right off the bell. Steel used a headscissor to send Robbie to the corner, but Robbie fought out and right into a back elbow followed by a stunner.

Steel went off the ropes, but Robbie bailed to the outside, luring Steel to the apron where she kicked her in the face. Back in the ring, Robbie threw some chops and a couple of high kicks before suplexing Steel for a two count.

Robbie locked in a Camel Clutch, bending Steel in half before clubbing her with some forearms. Steel started to fight back, throwing elbows at Robbie’s jaw. Steel hit Robbie with a big move that was so fast I barely saw it and that was it, Steel made the pin 1-2-3.

Match Result: Zayda Steel defeated Johnnie Robbie

Six Man Tag Team Match: SkyFlight (Dante Martin, Darius Martin & Scorpio Sky) (w/Christopher Daniels & Zayda Steel) vs Che Cabrera & TMDK (Bad Dude Tito & Shane Haste)

Steel and Daniels ran to the back after Steel’s match to accompany Skyflight to the ring, which was nice for continuity.

Darius and Haste started things off with both bruisers getting in some hard strikes. Darius tagged in Sky who grabbed a wristlock that Haste reversed, sending Sky to the outside where Cabrera ran him over. Tito and Cabrera stomped him before throwing him back into the ring.

Haste tagged in Cabrera who threw some elbows as they got together for a double team ending in a backbreaker from Cabrera. Haste tagged back in and hit a cannonball, isolating Sky from his team. Sky managed to roll through and tag in Dante.

Dante used his high flying abilities to dropkick Haste and dodge his attacks. He hit a crossbody on Haste for a two count, but Haste came back with a drop kick and a tag to Tito. Darius tagged in and he and Sky threw shoulders and knees at Tito in the corner.

Darius hit a satellite DDT, but Haste broke up the pin. Dante and Darius threw Haste out and then hit a stereo dive on him and Cabrera on the outside. Sky wanted to join the fun, but Tito cut him off so Sky (apparently legal now) hit a cutter and got the pin to pick up the victory.

Match Result: SkyFlight defeated Che Cabrera & TMDK

Mark Davis vs The Tuckman

The Tuckman won the Gold Medal for Mullets in this match, while Davis picked up Silver in the Looking Like Curtis Axel event.

When the match started though, it was fast and hard hitting. The both threw strikes until Tukman got a head lock. Davis got out of it and knocked him down off the ropes. Davis started throwing chops that sent Tuckman to the mat repeatedly.

Tuckman ducked the last one and tried to get Davis up for a slam, but Davis countered and went for a senton. Tuckman moved and tried to pick him up again, but Davis was too much for him and he got squished.

Davis took over from there, stomping Tuckman in the corner. Tuckman picked up some momentum, sending Davis out of the ring with a dropkick. Tuckman sailed through the ropes onto him and Davis escaped back into the ring.

Tuckman went for a sunset flip, but Davis dropped down on him. Tuckman came back and finally landed that scoop slam. He went up top for a springboard cutter and nailed it, but Davis kicked out at two. Tuckman went off the top turnbuckle, but Davis met him with a superkick.

He laid out Tuckman with a “thunderstruck” lariat and that was it. Davis made the pin and got the victory.

Match Result: Mark Davis defeated The Tuckman

Sisters Of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue) vs Aysha & Frankie B

Frankie and Blue started things off with an extended feeling out process, before locking up with Blue falling victim to a headlock. Blue countered into a headscissor and Frankie countered that by… standing up.

Frankie took over, throwing Blue around until she was able to tag in Hart. Aysha tagged in as well and Hart knocked her head against the mat. Hart charged Aysha in the corner, but Aysha moved and went for a bulldog. Hart countered before she could hit it, but Aysha came back with a shining wizard.

Frankie came in for a double team, but Blue broke up the count. Hart and Frankie fought in the ring, with Blue grabbing her ankle from the outside. That let Hart get some momentum with a standing moonsault. Hart hit a DDT and threw Frankie into the corner. Hart got her in a tarantula around the ropes and Blue dropkicked her in the gut.

Blue and Frankie exchanged blows and ended up falling victim to the simultaneous clothesline. Both crawled over and tagged in their partners, with Aysha throwing lariats at Hart and Blue. Aysha hit a lungblower on Hart, but only got a two count.

Hart cut off a double team, sending Aysha to the outside. She tagged in Blue and they hit a flapjack on Frankie, but could only get a two count. That gave Aysha a chance to come back in and let Frankie spear Hart. She then suplexed Blue into the corner.

Frankie went for a cannonball, but Blue countered and threw superkicks at her and Aysha. All four started brawling until Frankie was sent out of the ring and Blue hit a superkick on Aysha. Blue hit a swinging side slam assisted by Hart and then Hart pinned Aysha.

Match Result: Sisters Of Sin defeated Aysha & Frankie B

Six Man Tag Team Match: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs North Shore Wrestling (Jack Osborne, Sam Osborne & Will Kiedis)

Castle and The Outrunners entered with their patented brand of delightfull weirdness, while Ian Riccaboni informed us that his mom has a cockatoo that he’s always wanted to talk to.

I love wresting.

Kiedis and Magnum started things off with Magnum grabbing a quick headlock. He shot Kiedis off the ropes and then the posing began. That led to Kiedis getting a big ol’ Outrunner mitt to the chest and Floyd tagged in. He hit a spinning dop slam and one of the Osbornes tagged in (we’ll say Jack).

Jack tagged Kiedis back in who started chopping the isolated Magnum. Magnum came back though, taking out Kiedis and both Osbornes. Same tagged in and managed to wrangle Magnum back to the corner for a double team with his brother.

Jack then knocked Castle off the apron, which was not a good idea. Floyd tagged in took out everyone in brown pants with powerslams and then got together with Magnum for a bulldog/clothesline combo. They started hulking up for the double elbow, but Sam broke it up.

Magnum and Castle were knocked off the apron, leaving Floyd to get triple teamed. Kiedis hit a splash off the top turnbuckle, but Floyd got a tag to the refreshed Castle who started spamming suplexes on everyone.

He got Kiedis up on his shoulders, but the Osbornes came back and a brawl broke out, ending with a triple team on Castle. Sam hit a backbreaker, but before Jack could hit a slam, the Outrunners saved the day. Castle and The Outrunners hit a triple slam so that the Outrunners could double elbow Kiedis. Castle made the pin and that was it.

Match Result: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners defeated Jack Osborne, Sam Osborne & Will Kiedis

Mina Shirakawa vs Charli Evans

Shirakawa was fresh off of giving Wheeler Yuta a much needed haircut and set out to take down wrestler/skateboarder Evans.

The two locked up with Shirakawa losing the wristlock battle. She managed to counter with a few flips, but Evans hit a waistlock take down and the two posed for a few seconds. Unfortunately, Evans used that to kick Shirakawa in the back, which angered her.

Shirakawa came out with a dropkick and sent Evans to the corner. Evans dodged the attack and hita. high knee for a two count. Evans started throwing punches and Shirakawa threw them right back until Evans stomped her into the corner.

Evans came off the ropes with crossbody slam onto the ropes, but Shirakawa kicked out at two. Evans delivered a throat punch and a few chops, but Shirakawa came back with a satellite DDT. Shirakawa threw some elbows into a sling blade, but Evans kicked out.

Shirakawa lured Evans to the ropes, where she grabbed her leg and then hit a barrel roll dive. Shirakawa started working the knee of Evans, driving it into the mat. She tried to get the figure four on, but Evans fought out before she could lock it in.

Evans tried to steal one, but Shirakawa rolled through into a knee tot he face. Evans hit a fisherwoman’s suplex, but came up clutching her knee. She went for another running knee, but Shirakawa saw it and countered with the figure four in the middle of the ring. Evans rolled over to the ropes to break the hold, but the damage was done to her knee.

Shirakawa hit a missile dropkick and then a sling blade form the top turnbuckle. She called for the brainbuster and scooped Evans up. Evans got out of it though and sent Shirakawa off the ropes. Shirakawa exploded off them with a back fist and then hoisted her up for a Glamorous Driver to get the pin.

Match Result: Mina Shirakawa defeated Charli Evans

Robbie Eagles vs Shawn Dean

Eagles is one half of the IWGP Junior Tag Team Champions, and Dean is one third of the ROH Six Man Tag Champions. So, based on my daughter’s 5th grade math text book, if we make the denominators common, they are 5/6ths of a champion. I think.

Anyway, Dean, in a rare singles match, drove Eagles to the ropes off the bell. Eagles tried to be alittle silly, but Dean was having none of it. Eagles hit a headscissor takedown to try and lighten him up. He followed that with a spinning heel kick.

Dean fought back, slowing the pace of the match and sending Eagles to the corner for a BBC. Eagles choked on the “Bronco Bust Captain” as Coleman called it and Dean put on a chinlock. Coleman and Riccabonni debated slang while Dean hit a leaping elbow on Eagles.

Dean covertly fishhooked Eagles until Eagles started throwing elbows into his gut. Dean responded by throwing Eagles into the corner. He hit a high back elbow and went for a second BBC, but Eagles slipped out of the ring and the BBC got crushed in the corner.

Eagles hit a spingboard shot to Dean’s knee, trying to keep him on the mat. Eagles peppered Dean with kicks before a shining wizard off the ropes for a two count. Eagles kept pressure on Dean’s knee, but Dean shoved him into the corner and went for a bulldog. Eagles countered though and hit a 619 onto Dean’s knees.

Eagles went up top, but Dean scrambled up and went for a superplex while the crowd chanted “you are a wanker.” Eagles threw Dean off and hit a 450 onto his knee. He stepped through into a modified STFU, and Dean was forced to tap out.

Match Result: Robbie Eagles defeated Shawn Dean

It’s 7pm EST, my fried egg sandwiches were a hit with the two tiny yet extremely harsh food critics who live in my house and it’s time for some good ol’ fashioned fights on Ring of Honor!

ROH World Tag Team Title Match: La Faccion Ingobernable (Sammy Guevara & The Beast Mortos) (c) vs Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) (w/Christopher Daniels)

Kicking things off is what promised to be a great tag match. Top Flight want the titles and Guevara and Mortos (and Rush and Dustin Rhodes) have held them for 530+ days combined.

Mortos and Dante kicked things off with Mortos blowing snot onto Dante’s hand during the Code of Honor. Gross.

Mortos charged Dante, but he leapt over, coming back with a high knee to the jaw that seemed to upset Mortos. Dante hit a spinning kick and threw hands at Mortos who came off the ropes with a shoulder block.

Darius and Guevara tagged in and Guevera immediately started mugging with the crowd and tagged Mortos back in. Then Guevara decided that the crowd wanted him so he tagged back in. They tried for a third time, but Darius had had enough and dropkicked Guevara.

Guevara came back with a headlock takedown and then sent Darious out of the ring with a missile dropkick. Christopher Daniels gave Darius some words of encouragement and he got back in and tagged in Dante. They combined for a series of uppercuts, atomic drops and shoulder tackles on Guevara.

Guevara tried to escape to the outside and Dante hit him in the head every time he tried to get back in. Dante went to leap off the ropes, but Mortos distracted him and Guevara was able to sneak up from behind and lay Dante out.

Mortos tagged in and threw hands at the stunned Dante. He got a wristlock on and then tagged in Guevara for an axehandle off the top turnbuckle. Guevara beat up on Dante, isolating him in the corner so Mortos could lay him out in the center of the ring.

Dante fought back with a DDT and made a tag to Darius. Darious came in at the same time as Guevara and met him feet first. Darious hit a spanish fly on Guevara then took out Mortos on the apron. Mortos stormed back with a sling blade on Darious. Dante came in and Darious used him as leverage to hit a sattellit DDT on Mortos.

While Guevara knocked Dante out on the outside of the ring, Mortos hit a samoan drop on Darius and got the pin to retain the titles.

Match Result: La Faccion Ingobernable defeated Top Flight

Backstage, Jay Lethal addressed ROH World Champion Bandido while holding his stolen mask. He was just getting in to how Bandido’s days are numbered when Tommy Billington teleported into the scene and challenged Lethal to a match.

Six Man Tag Team Match: Michael Oku & The Von Erichs (Marshall von Erich & Ross von Erich) (w/Amira & Kevin von Erich) vs Oday, OXP & Timur The Great

No disrespect to Micheal Oku, but why does ROH continually think that the Von Erichs need more partners? Do they think the Von Erich thing only works in fours (Yes, I’m counting Kevin)? At any rate, this match against <gestures vaguely> these guys, looked to be a fun one.

Oku and OXP kicked things off with Oku landing a headscissor takedown. OXP didn’t seem to know what to do so he tagged in Oday and Ross came in with a high kick. Marshall followed and the two hit stereo splashes in the corner. Marshall hit a standing shooting star press and Oday tagged in Timur.

Timur didn’t last long though as the Von Erichs and Oku threw their opponents to the outside so Oku could dive on them. Marshall and Ross locked Iron Claws on OXP and Oday, while Oku put Timur in a boston crab. Somewhere in there, someone gave up or was pinned and the Von Erichs and Oku won.

Match Result: Michael Oku & The Von Erichs defeated Oday, OXP & Timur The Great

Persephone vs Julissa Mexa

Persephone seems primed to take her place atop the Women’s Division in AEW so it was fun to see her back in ROH for a few minutes.

The two locked up off the top with Mexa grabbing a waistlock that Persephone reversed. Mexa tried a couple of armdrags before doing an impression of the Bella twins. That opened things up for Persephone to take her down.

Mexa responded with a high crossbody, but when she went for a second, Persephone caught her and slammed her into the turnbuckles. She hit a big dropkick for a two count, with Mesa kicking right out.

Persephone then fishhooked Mexa, before throwing some punches. She gave the ref some great side-eye for not counting to three. Mexa was still dazed, so Persephone set her up for Shattered Dreams for some reason, then hit a dropdown on her in the corner.

Persephone in complete control stepped on Mexa’s neck over the ropes and then put on a headlock. Mexa started powering up, but Persephone put an end to that with a punch. Mexa scoop slammed her then hit a kick in the corner before scrambling up the ringpost for a missile dropkick.

The two started trading forearms and elbows until Persephone hit a bridging suplex for a two count. Mexa got back up and hit a pumphandle dragon suplex, but Persehone would’t go down. She hit a spear on Mexa out of nowhere and then dropped her with a crucifix bomb to get the pin and victory.

Match Result: Persephone defeated Julissa Mexa

Six Man Tag Team Match: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs KM, Nathan Cruz & Rosario Grillo

Look, this match was always going to be awesome. Castle and the Ourtunners are three great tastes that taste great together. If they aren’t the #1 contenders to Shane Taylor Promotions’ Six Man Titles, I can’t think of a good reason why.

But this match was a crowd-pleasing six person squash from the start. They played all the greatest hits, quick tags, double elbows and power ups from Magnum and Floyd, killer suplexes and Bangarang from Castle. It was fun to watch, but was over before I could finish typing this sentence.

Match Result: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners defeated KM, Nathan Cruz & Rosario Grillo

Backstage, JD Drake called out Adam Priest. Drake said that he’s the reason people know who Priest is and the next time he see’s him, he’s going to beat the piss out of him. Because Priest pissed him off. Piss.

Lance Archer vs Will Allday

You may remember Lance Archer from the other 35 times he’s had this match.

So, like he does, Archer came to the ring, threw Allday at the ground a bunch using big chops, chokeslams and the Razor’s Edge/blackout thing, and won the match.

Allday got in a kick to Archer’s knee, but as with all Archer matches, it didn’t really matter.

Match Result: Lance Archer defeated Will Allday

Eight Man Tag Team Match: ROH World Champion Bandido, Komander, Mascara Dorada & Xelhua vs The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) & The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) (w/Mark Sterling & Stori Denali)

Last week, Johnson seemed to have a big interest in if Stori Denali would be joining the Athletic Swirl at ringside, so it’ll be interesting to see if something develops there. Sterling ran down Luchardores as “criminals who have to wear masks” and declared this the “last Lucha match ever in Ring of Honor.” I don’t know if he has that kind of authority, but we’ll see.

The luchadores chose their starting fighter to be Xelhua and he started things off against Daivari. The two traded wristlocks until Xelhua shot Daivari off the ropes and hit an armdrag followed by a dropkick. Dorada tagged in and Daivari went for his mask right away. That allowed him to shove Dorada into the Athletic Swirl’s corner.

Nese tagged in and couldn’t get ahold of the fast moving Dorada, who took him down with a headscissor and then a spinning kick. Komander tagged in and Nese went for his mask before tagging in Johnson. Johnson had trouble catching Komander and just kinda let him run around the ring for a minute before trying a rollup for two.

Komander shoved Johnson, who shoved him back. Bandido and Christian tagged in and Bandido took Christian down with a headscissor The two started brawling, throwing punches until a dropkick from Bandido sent him staggering.

Komander tagged in and Johnson came in so that he and Christian could try a double team. That got them a double dropkick so the Athletes tried the same thing and got another double dropkick. That unleashed a brawl in which Bandido and Dorada got thrown out of the ring.

Nese tossed Xelhua out, leaving Komander to fend for himself against Christian. Things settled down and Christian tagged in Nese after choking Komander on the ropes. Johnson came in and started punching Komander, wearing down the luchadore.

Daivari tagged in and hit a snapmare with a knee to the back. He put Komander in a sleeper but no joy as Komander fought out of it and punched him in the gut. Daivari and Komander both went off the ropes into a double crossbody.

Komander got the hot tag to Bandido and Christian got one of his own as the two flew around the ring. Dorada tagged in and hit a tornado takedown on Nese. Xelhua tagged in and took out Johnson before Komander tagged back in to take on Daivari with a springboard headscissor takedown.

Team Lucha sent everyone to the outside and hit a combo dive on all four. Back in the ring, Bandido hit a 12-plex on Christian, but Christian landed on his feet. Story Denali came in and chokeslammed Bandido and Christian hit a springboard 450, but Dorada broke up the pin.

The brawl continued with Dorada and Nese fighting until Christian tagged back in to meet up with Xelhua who atomic dropped him. Komander hit a DDT on Johnson, then Daivari hit a lariat on Komander. Bandido came in and tried an X-Knee, but Daivari blocked it.

Bandido then hit a pip up cutter on Daivari while Komander, Xelhua and Dorada took out the Athletic Swirl on the outside. Bandido landed a 21-plex on Daivari and that was it! The luchadores get the win.

Match Result: Bandido, Komander, Mascara Dorada & Xelhua defeat The Swirl & The Premier Athletes
