Scott and Monteasy Scott are the hosts of the Swerve City podcast.
Scott unsuccessfully challenged for Santos Escobar’s NXT Cruiserweight Championship at NXT TakeOver 31 earlier this month. On NXT this week, Scott backed up Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Jake Atlas when they were about to be attacked by Legado del Fantasma (Escobar, Raul Mendoza, and Joaquin Wilde).
It was also announced this week that Sam Roberts is getting a WWE Network series. Notsam Wrestling will premiere on the WWE Network at 10 a.m. Eastern time next Thursday and will be a weekly series.
WWE is celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Undertaker with a lineup of special WWE Network programming.
It was announced via Variety today that “30 Days of The Deadman” will begin on the WWE Network on Sunday, October 25. There will be new Undertaker-related programming every Sunday for five weeks.
30 Days of The Deadman will begin with a new WWE Untold episode premiering on October 25. It will be focused on The Undertaker and Randy Orton’s feud from 2005. The episode will include interviews with Undertaker, Randy Orton, Cowboy Bob Orton, Bruce Prichard, and more.
“Meeting Mark Calaway” will then premiere on Sunday, November 1. The documentary will feature wrestlers from the past and present detailing what it was like when they first met the man behind The Undertaker. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Drew McIntyre, and Orton are among those who will appear on the documentary.
A documentary on Paul Bearer will premiere on Sunday, November 8. It’s titled “The Mortician: The Story of Paul Bearer.”
“Brothers of Destruction” is debuting on the WWE Network on Sunday, November 15. The documentary, which features The Undertaker and Kane sitting down for a candid discussion about their careers, will also premiere at the Austin Film Festival on October 29.
30 Days of The Deadman will then wrap up with The Undertaker appearing on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions on Sunday, November 22. This will be the second time Undertaker has been a guest on the show. He also appeared on its debut episode in November 2019.
This November marks 30 years since The Undertaker debuted at Survivor Series 1990. At the end of his “Last Ride” docuseries on the WWE Network earlier this year, Undertaker said he has no desire to return to in-ring competition. If Undertaker doesn’t return to the ring, his last match will have been his Boneyard Match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36.
Full details for the 30 Days of The Deadman programming are listed below:
WWE Untold: The Phenom and The Legend Killer
Sunday, Oct. 25
Learn the incredible true story of The Undertaker and Randy Orton’s epic rivalry from 2005, as told by The Phenom and The Legend Killer themselves. The Undertaker and Orton discuss their classic series of matches and recall the lessons they took away from their nearly yearlong rivalry, from nearly getting set on fire and how to start and crash a lowrider, to learning the rights and wrongs of the sports-entertainment business. Interviews with Undertaker, Randy Orton, Cowboy Bob Orton Jr., Bruce Prichard and more.
Meeting Mark Calaway
Sunday, Nov. 1
Awe. Intimidation. Fear. No figure looms as large in WWE lore or commands more respect than The Undertaker — a fact all other Superstars acknowledge. But what is it like to meet the man behind The Deadman? Superstars from past and present — including “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton — remember their first introduction to Mark Calaway, better known to the WWE Universe as the one and only Undertaker.
The Mortician: The Story of Paul Bearer
Sunday, Nov. 8
With his ghoulish appearance and signature cry of ‘Ooooh, yesssss,’ Hall of Famer Paul Bearer, The Undertaker’s longtime manager, stands out as one of the most unique characters in sports-entertainment history, but the man who portrayed Paul Bearer is every bit as fascinating. This is the story of William Moody, the real-life mortician who combined his background in mortuary science with his passion for wrestling to create one of WWE’s most enduring personalities.
Brothers of Destruction
Sunday, Nov. 15
Two eternal legends. One epic story. For the first time ever, The Undertaker and Kane sit down for a candid discussion about their storied careers, which have been intertwined since The Big Red Machine was introduced as The Undertaker’s long-lost brother in 1997. From their fierce battles against one another, to their indestructible alliance as tag team partners, Brothers of Destruction covers The Undertaker and Kane’s bond as never before. (premiering at Austin Film Festival 10/29)
‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions: The Undertaker
Sunday, Nov. 22
After his groundbreaking appearance on the very first episode of The Broken Skull Sessions, The Undertaker returns for a second round of no-holds-barred conversation with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. The Deadman and The Texas Rattlesnake cover even more ground on this all-new episode, which premieres 30 years to the day of The Undertaker’s arrival in WWE.
A documentary on the intertwined career of the Undertaker and Kane will debut at the Austin (TX) Film Festival & Conference in October before debuting on WWE Network the following month.
“Brothers of Destruction” will close out the week-long conference on the night of Thursday, October 29th while the Network debut is set for Sunday, November 15th, part of a month-long celebration of Undertaker’s 30 years in pro wrestling (“30 Days of the Deadman”).
The documentary description from WWE: “The film breaks new ground as cameras capture a candid discussion between The Undertaker and Kane about their storied careers for the first time. Intertwined since Kane was introduced as The Undertaker’s long-lost brother in 1997, The Big Red Machine and The Deadman have been both bitter enemies and fierce allies, but their relationship never failed to captivate the WWE Universe, resulting in one of sports-entertainment’s most incredible legacies.”
WWE debuted the well-recieved Undertaker documentary series earlier this year on the Network with Undertaker (Mark Calaway) doing a slew of mainstream interviews to help promote it, something he had been reluctant to do for decades due to the character.
Sam Roberts is getting his own weekly series on the WWE Network.
Roberts announced today that “Notsam Wrestling” will premiere on the WWE Network at 10 a.m. Eastern time next Thursday (October 22). The show will air weekly on Thursdays and will be available on both the paid and free versions of the WWE Network. Roberts said he’ll be producing and creating the series himself from his studio.
Roberts said Notsam Wrestling on the WWE Network won’t just be a video version of his wrestling podcast or any other content that’s previously been available. He said it’s a brand new show and his podcast and Patreon will remain the same.
“Every Thursday at 10 a.m. Eastern on the free version of the WWE Network I will be there to spill my wrestling brain into your lap,” Roberts said. “Can’t wait to share this with you guys. I hope you’re as excited as I am.”
Roberts, who co-hosts the Jim Norton & Sam Roberts Show on SiriusXM, made his debut as a panelist on WWE’s pre-show in 2016. Roberts has hosted his wrestling podcast since 2014.
– Braun Strowman will be the focus of the next episode of WWE Chronicle.
WWE Network News reported that a new episode of Chronicle focused on Strowman will premiere on the WWE Network on Saturday (August 29). Strowman is defending his Universal Championship against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a falls count anywhere match at tonight’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.
– A new episode of WWE Day Of will then debut next Sunday (August 30), which is the same day as WWE’s Payback PPV. WWE Network News reported that the Day Of episode will be focused on Seth Rollins and his match against John Cena from SummerSlam 2015:
A new episode of WWE The Day Of is coming to WWE Network – and it is a bit of a unique case. It appears a new edition of WWE The Day Of will be traveling all the way back to 2015. Typically, The Day Of episodes cover major events that have recently passed, such as the prior month’s pay-per-view. Needless to say, this is a unique one.
Based on what we’ve gathered, this upcoming video will follow Seth Rollins for his big match with John Cena at the Biggest Party of the Summer, SummerSlam 2015. This match was notable as it featured the guest host, Jon Stewart, inserting himself into the proceedings to cause trouble for Cena. This episode will be premiering on Sunday, August 30th.
– Jerry Lawler announced that he’ll be the next guest on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions interview series on the WWE Network. When the episode will be premiering hasn’t been announced, but Lawler wrote that it will be airing in a couple of weeks: “Just finished shooting an episode of @steveaustinBSR Broken Skull Sessions!! It will air on the @WWENetwork in a couple weeks.”
New editions of WWE Untold and WWE 24 are coming to the WWE Network during SummerSlam weekend.
WWE Network News reported that WWE Untold: Bayley vs. Sasha will premiere on the Network on Saturday, August 22. The episode will focus on “Bayley vs. Sasha Banks in NXT, with specific focus on their NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn encounter.” August 22 is the five-year anniversary of TakeOver: Brooklyn.
Bayley and Banks are both currently double champions. Bayley holds the SmackDown Women’s Championship, Banks is the Raw Women’s Champion, and they hold the Women’s Tag Team titles together. Banks is defending her Raw Women’s title against Asuka at SummerSlam. A triple brand battle royal on tonight’s SmackDown will decide Bayley’s challenger for the PPV.
WWE Network News also reports that a new WWE 24 episode focused on WrestleMania 36 will then premiere on the Network on Sunday, August 23. WrestleMania 36 aired over two nights this April and was WWE’s first pay-per-view moved to a closed set due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
NXT TakeOver XXX is taking place on August 22, while SummerSlam is being held on August 23. WWE Network News notes that the Untold and WWE 24 episodes will likely be made available on the Network on-demand around 10 a.m. Eastern time and will also likely air on the live stream after TakeOver and SummerSlam respectively.

And this is just the beginning! You’ll continue to see footage from their libraries, as well as new and exciting content from all of these promotions on WWE Network in the weeks and months to come.”
Though the series finale aired last month, more “Undertaker: The Last Ride” content is coming to the WWE Network this weekend.
WWE has announced that a bonus episode titled “Undertaker: The Last Ride: Tales from the Deadman” will premiere on the WWE Network on Sunday:
You thought you’d seen the last Last Ride? Think again.
The critically-acclaimed WWE Network series returns this Sunday as Undertaker shares even more stories from his legendary career on Undertaker: The Last Ride: Tales from the Deadman, narrated by Emmy-nominated actor and producer Timothy Olyphant.
Get ready for some incredible behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the man himself, as Undertaker recalls stories about the origins of his character, his experience on an infamous plane ride, and even that time he fought The Godfather over a hat, all accompanied by never-before-seen animation.
Don’t miss the return of Undertaker: The Last Ride, as ‘Tales from The Deadman’ premieres this Sunday, streaming immediately following The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules, only on WWE Network.
In addition to airing on the live stream after Extreme Rules, “Tales from the Deadman” will be made available on demand on the WWE Network at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Sunday.
“Undertaker: The Last Ride” was a five-episode docuseries and ended with The Undertaker saying he has no desire to return to the ring following his Boneyard Match against AJ Styles from WrestleMania 36. “If Vince was in a pinch, would I come back? I guess time will only tell there,” Undertaker said. “In case of emergency, break glass, you pull out The Undertaker. I would have to consider that. Never say never. But at this point in my life, and in my career, I have no desire to get back in the ring,”
Ricochet will be the subject of the next episode of WWE 365.
“An incredible year for @KingRicochet takes center stage THIS SUNDAY on an all-new #WWE365,” WWE announced today. The episode will premiere on demand on the WWE Network at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Sunday (July 5) and will also air on the WWE Network live stream at 8 p.m. Eastern time that night.
WWE 365 is a documentary-style series that focuses on one wrestler over the course of a year. Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss, AJ Styles, and Kevin Owens have been featured on previous episodes.
Ricochet made his main roster debut in February 2019 and fully moved on from NXT that April. His time on the main roster has included winning the United States title once. He challenged for the WWE Championship in a quick loss to Brock Lesnar at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia this February.
Ricochet has recently been part of a tag team with Cedric Alexander. He’s made appearances on Main Event in recent weeks, including teaming with Alexander in a loss to Murphy & Austin Theory on the latest episode.
A game show hosted by R-Truth is coming to the WWE Network next month.
During his appearance on WWE’s The Bump this morning, it was announced that “The R-Truth Game Show” will premiere on the WWE Network on Tuesday, July 14. A brief preview revealed that the game show was done remotely over video. Alexa Bliss, Natalya, Sheamus, and The Miz were shown during the preview.
R-Truth said a lot of his ingenuity went into the game show, he keeps account of the points, there are a lot of prizes, and there are trivia games, scavenger hunts, and other kinds of games.
The concept of an R-Truth game show on the WWE Network was first planned years ago. A pilot was filmed in 2017, but the series ended up never airing.
R-Truth is the current WWE 24/7 Champion. He won the title from Rob Gronkowski on Raw earlier this month.
With Gronkowski returning to the NFL, he’s no longer under contract with WWE.
With WWE finally rolling out a free tier for the WWE Network on Monday, the company has done away with their 30-day free trial for potential paying subscribers for now.
The news was first reported by PWInsider and later confirmed by our Dave Meltzer. Meltzer is also reporting that the availability of that free month could change at different times.
That opens the possibility that WWE could revive the free month for high traffic times like WrestleMania season which starts at the Royal Rumble and runs through their biggest event of the year.
The working idea is that the free version of the Network, which includes recent episodes of WWE programming, some historical PPVs and TakeOvers, highlight shows, documentaries and the new Raw Talk show, will be the tool to give any prospective buyer what they need in order to decide whether to subscribe.
WWE reported 476,000 free subscribers to 1.62 million paid subscribers for this year’s WrestleMania event compared to 233,000 free and 1.76 million paid subscribers for the 2019 Mania, and 316,000 and 1.8 million paid subscribers in 2018.
New shows including Raw Talk, streaming Monday nights each week immediately following Raw
Groundbreaking original series including Monday Night War, Ride Along, Table for 3, Photo Shoot and Story Time
Recent episodes of WWE’s flagship programs Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and NXT
Select historical WWE pay-per-views and NXT TakeOver events
Weekly WWE highlights, Top 10, WWE’s The Bump, WWE Now, The Best of WWE and WWE Timeline
Raw Talk is making its return as part of the free tier. Charly Caruso and Samoa Joe will host the post-show following tonight’s Raw.
“The launch of WWE Network’s Free Version is a key component of our company’s digitization strategy and a new way for all fans to be able to experience premium WWE content,” said Jayar Donlan, WWE Executive Vice President, Advanced Media. “As we continue to reimagine WWE Network’s offering, the Free Version will serve as an effective way to reach a broader group of consumers and allow them to experience the history and spectacle of WWE.”
An update on a potential VIP tier for the WWE Network wasn’t mentioned. WWE said last July that they were planning on rolling out a tier system within the next 12 months, with the VIP tier coming several months after the launch of the free tier.
A WWE Network special featuring previously unaired content from Sting is premiering later this month.
WWE Network News reported today that “Sting: The Lost Tape” will debut on the WWE Network on Sunday, May 31. Here’s the description for the special: “Featuring never-before-seen footage and interviews, cameras follow Sting backstage before his big match at WCW Slamboree 1995.”
Sting defeated Big Bubba Rogers at Slamboree 1995.
The situation with Sting is this. He was originally set for being a character in Mattel’s Legend Series 7 line and then removed. When this came out on The Major Wrestling Figure podcast, Mattel wrote in response, “Due to circumstances out of our control Sting needed to be removed from Legends Series 7. We’ll look to include this figure in a future wave if he becomes available to us again.” The reason for this is that Sting no longer has a merchandising contract with WWE. This has coupled with Sting starting to tweet AEW things. That also would indicate no longer being under contract with WWE. Cody tweeted something like he heard something. As far as AEW goes, this is what I can say. I’ve asked and gotten no response to the question and if there was nothing going on the odds are I’d be told there was nothing going on.
The five-part docuseries will premiere after Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Here’s the full schedule for all of the episodes:
Chapter 1 — This Sunday, May 10 immediately following Money In The Bank at approximately 10 p.m. ET
Chapter 2 — Sunday, May 17 on demand beginning at 10 am ET
Chapter 3 — Sunday, May 24 on demand beginning at 10 am ET
Chapter 4 — Sunday, June 14 on demand beginning at 10 am ET
Chapter 5 — Sunday, June 21 on demand beginning at 10 am ET
Episode one is titled “Chapter 1: The Greatest Fear.” Here’s the description for the episode: “Undertaker comes to terms with his own mortality as he prepares for what many believed to be the final match of his career against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33. Fans will get a rare glimpse into what led up to that moment, the pressure he puts on himself each year getting ready for WWE’s annual pop-culture extravaganza, and much more. In addition, the episode looks back at the physical and emotional toll taken on Undertaker after his 21-year WrestleMania undefeated streak came to a shocking conclusion against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30.”
“Undertaker: The Last Ride” was first announced via a trailer that aired on night one of WrestleMania 36 last month, with a first look then airing after WrestleMania 36 night two. It was noted that the series takes place between 2017 and 2020. It “gives viewers an unprecedented look at Mark Calaway, the man behind the legendary Undertaker, as he prepares for the final chapters of his storied 30-year career in WWE.”
In addition to out-of-character interviews with The Undertaker, the series will include interviews with Michelle McCool, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Triple H, John Cena, Reigns, Batista, Ric Flair, Edge, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, and more.
WWE’s latest trailer for the series is available to watch below:
WWE has confirmed that “Undertaker: The Last Ride” will be a five-part series. Episode one will be uploaded to the WWE Network on demand at 10 a.m. Eastern time this Sunday (May 10) and will also air after Money in the Bank later that night.
