  • Reynolds, perhaps not wanting to hurt anyone’s feelings, then said the secret is that Matt ate the last piece of peanut butter cheesecake in catering.
  • Omega was furious about this and asked to see “the paper trail!”
  • An enraged Omega asked everyone to hold him back. He then said he is going to confront Matt over this unforgivable act of dishonesty.
  • Omega said he’s starting to think Matt isn’t the friend he thought he was.

  • Matt then realized Omega didn’t really know what his secret is and went along with the idea that it is only that he ate the last piece of cheesecake.
  • Omega then told Matt he forgives him and ordered him out of his room.

In a post-credit scene, Omega was shown in his locker room still fuming over the cheesecake.

Also on this week’s episode, Ryan Nemeth promoted his upcoming comedy show, Hunkamania, on May 27 in Las Vegas.

After footage of Takeshita rescuing The Elite from an attack by the BCC last week aired, Don Callis, Takeshita and The Elite were shown backstage. Callis and the Young Bucks were really thankful to Takeshita for what he did but Omega seemed uneasy with him being there. The Bucks would later say Takeshita is an “honorary” member of The Elite.

Later in the episode, Evil Uno would approach the Young Bucks and asked about Hangman Page, who he says has been ignoring his texts. However, the Bucks lied to Uno and said they haven’t heard from Hangman.

AEW’s Matt Jackson suffered partially torn biceps in Trios title three-way

AEW’s Matt Jackson is currently dealing with an injury.

On the post Raw edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez said Jackson had suffered a partially torn biceps during the three-way AEW Trios Championship match with House of Black, Jericho Appreciation Society and The Elite that took place earlier this month in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on Dynamite.

“Apparently it happened early in the match and he worked the whole match with it,” Alvarez said.

“He opted to not get surgery and is hopeful he’ll be back quicker,” Meltzer added. “(With) surgery, you’re looking at seven months.”

Meltzer did not know what the timetable is for his return. He said the injury angle from last week’s Dynamite was designed to write him off TV to explain his absence. The Young Bucks were attacked by the Blackpool Combat Club and were taken away in an ambulance.

“As far as timetable, it’s probably not too long? I don’t know. (Double or Nothing) is in two months. Two months feels short which is too bad if they are not on pay-per-view,” he said.

After tying the series 3-3, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega defeated PAC, Penta El 0 M, and Fenix in an escalara de la muerte (ladder) match on Wednesday’s Dynamite. The finish had Kenny Omega give Fenix a one winged angel off a ladder propped up by another ladder and ropes to the floor. Omega then grabbed one of the Trios titles for the win.

Death Triangle’s reign with the titles ends after 126 days. They defeated Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta, and Orange Cassidy) to win the vacant championships back on the September 7 edition of Dynamite.

The Elite were the first Trios title holders, winning them at All Out. However, a fight between them and CM Punk backstage led to them being stripped of the titles and suspended. They returned at Full Gear, losing what ended up being the first of seven matches between themselves and Death Triangle for the titles. The Elite went on to lose the next two matches before eventually tying Death Triangle in a Falls Count Anywhere match on the December 28 edition of Dynamite.
