Jordynne Grace meets Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer face-to-face at WWE NXT Vengeance Day

Jordynne Grace has made her presence felt.

The end of Saturday’s NXT Vengeance Day saw Giulia successfully defend the NXT Women’s Championship in a four-way match. As she recovered in the ring, new Women’s North American Champion Giulia came out and the two posed together to seemingly end the show. However, Grace’s music soon hit as she made her way to the ring.  The show closed with Grace staring down both champions. As she exited the ring, she said “See you on Tuesday.”

Grace responded to her appearance on social media, writing two words: “My turn.”

After wrestling her final match with TNA at Genesis last month, Grace made her official WWE debut at the Royal Rumble, entering the women’s Royal Rumble match. Prior to that, she had made multiple appearances on NXT representing TNA. At NXT Battleground last year Grace, as TNA Knockouts Champion, lost a NXT Women’s Championship match against Roxanne Perez.

New group featuring Dion Lennox debuts at WWE NXT Vengeance Day

A new group is making their mark on NXT.

The yet to be named group attacked Nathan Frazer and Axiom following their Tag Team title defense at Vengeance Day. They were later identified as Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Cutler James, and Osiris Griffin. Wearing face masks, the four took out both Frazer and Axiom then left the ring.

Later in the night, Oba Femi successfully defended the NXT Championship against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. The group emerged again and this time came through the crowd before jumping the NXT Champion. Two of the four managed to lift Femi and threw him to the other two, who laid out Femi with an assisted powerbomb.

On social media, Lennox shared a picture of the masks the four wore.

Lennox is the only person of the group that has been a regular on NXT, usually appearing backstage reading a book and wearing glasses. Back in January, Lennox congratulated Femi backstage after winning the NXT Championship and told him that one day he would challenge for the title.

Stephanie Vaquer wins Women’s North American title at WWE NXT Vengeance Day

Stephanie Vaquer is the new women’s North American Champion.

In the opening match of Saturday’s Vengeance Day, Vaquer defeated Fallon Henley to win the championship for the first time. Despite attempts by Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx to interfere Vaquer ended up taking out both women at ringside and scored the win after hitting a sky twister press on Henley.

Henley had held the title for 111 days, defeating the first champion Kelani Jordan back at Halloween Havoc on October 27.

After Stephanie Vaquer became number one contender to the title, Shotzi said she wanted a title match as well. General manager Ava decided to put the two in a match to determine, yet again, who the number one contender to the Women’s North American title was. Vaquer emerged victorious, solidifying herself yet again as the number one contender.

Two weeks ago, Vaquer was wrestling Jayne when Nyx broke up a pin attempt. Vaquer proceeded to lay out both women, ultimately scoring the pinfall on Jayne.

Cora Jade added to WWE NXT Vengeance Day title match, card finalized

The Women’s title match at Vengeance Day is now a four-way following Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT.

Cora Jade defeated Bayley on Tuesday’s show, and after the contest was added to Saturday’s Vengeance Day four-way for the NXT Women’s Championship by genera manager Ava. Giulia will now defend against Bayley, Roxanne Perez, and Jade. It was a distraction from Perez dressed as Bayley’s former NXT character that allowed Jade to score the upset victory.

An NXT Tag Team title match, plus a strap match have also been added to Saturday’s card.

NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom will defend against Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura in a new match announced during Tuesday’s episode.

A strap match with Trick Williams vs. Eddy Thorpe was also made official for Saturday’s lineup. Thorpe attacked Williams with a strap last week, then issued a challenge that Williams accepted during Tuesday’s show.

The finalized card for WWE NXT Vengeance Day which streams Saturday, February 15 at 6 p.m. Eastern time on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix in most of the rest of the world:

Another mystery Vengeance Day vignette airs on WWE NXT

A follow-up to last week’s Vengeance Day teaser aired on this week’s WWE NXT, hinting at the debut of a four-person group at the PLE.

A social media user identified the wrestlers as Saquon Shugars, Cutler James, Keanu Carver, and Dion Lennox, talent that has primarily been featured on the now defunct NXT Level Up show:

WWE posted a video including the vignette to their social media channels following Tuesday’s show:
