Davenport was supposed to face Gigi Dolin on NXT this week. Instead, there was an angle where Davenport took out Dolin in a backstage attack.
The No Mercy pre-show begins at 7 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday. The main card then starts at 8 p.m. Eastern. The show is airing live on Peacock/WWE Network.

Two-thirds of British Strong Style could be reunited at NXT No Mercy.
Butch posted to social media on Wednesday to say that he’s asked Tyler Bate to be in his corner when he challenges Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup on Saturday.
“I need a second at No Mercy Saturday. @noamdar is gonna have all of meta-four out there so I’ve asked an old mate to watch my back. Someone who knows Noam and Heritage Cup rules pretty well. BSS one night only Probably,” wrote Butch.

Bate, Butch, and Trent Seven comprised British Strong Style in Progress and other promotions beginning in 2016 and reunited in NXT beginning in 2018. The group disbanded when Seven was released from the promotion in July 2022.
Butch earned the right to challenge Dar for the Heritage Cup after winning the Global Heritage Invitational tournament. He defeated Joe Coffey in the finals of the tournament last night on NXT.
Dar and Butch have faced each other just once previously in WWE. Butch, then wrestling as Pete Dunne, successfully defended the NXT UK Championship against Dar on the first edition of NXT UK on July 28, 2018. Dunne also defeated Dar on a SWE show in 2014 and then again for RevPro in 2016.

Another match may be added to the card for NXT No Mercy.
After Tuesday night’s NXT went off the air, WWE uploaded a post-show video where Kelani Jordan challenged Blair Davenport to face her at No Mercy. The event is taking place at Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California this Saturday (September 30).
Davenport was supposed to face Gigi Dolin on NXT last night, but the match didn’t end up happening. There was instead an angle where Davenport took out Dolin in a backstage attack.
Jordan, a former college gymnast, made her in-ring debut on NXT Level Up earlier this year. She won her televised NXT singles debut by defeating Tatum Paxley this July.
Jordan will be one of the entrants in NXT’s upcoming Women’s Breakout Tournament. The winner of the tournament receives a future Women’s title shot.
The full bracket for the Women’s Breakout Tournament is being revealed at No Mercy.
Jordan recently had a partnership with Dana Brooke in NXT. Brooke was released by WWE in last week’s roster cuts.
WWE hasn’t confirmed if Jordan vs. Davenport will be part of the No Mercy main card or if it will be on the pre-show. The pre-show airs live on Peacock/WWE Network starting at 7 p.m. Eastern time this Saturday. The main card then begins an hour later.

Becky Lynch will defend the NXT Women’s Championship in a rematch against Tiffany Stratton on September 30, this time being an Extreme Rules match after Stratton attacked Lynch at the end of Tuesday’s show.
The show opened with Lynch addressing the crowd when Stratton came out and teased she wanted a match right then and there. She then said that’s what the crowd wanted, so she wanted it at No Mercy instead. Lynch told her the match she can have the match she wants, but the result will be the same.
After Lynch and Lyra Valkyria defeated Stratton and Kiana James in the main event, Stratton attacked Lynch with a steel chair. Stratton posed with the title then left as Lynch recovered. Lynch then demanded the Extreme Rules match for No Mercy.

NXT is heading to California for an upcoming streaming special.
During a media call on Thursday, Shawn Michaels announced that NXT No Mercy will take place from Bakersfield, California on Saturday, September 30. The show is being held at Mechanics Bank Arena and will stream live on Peacock/WWE Network.
Tickets for NXT No Mercy are going on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Pacific time on Friday, August 4. A ticket pre-sale will begin at 10 a.m. Pacific on Wednesday, August 2.
This is the first time WWE has used the No Mercy name for an event since 2017. No Mercy originated in 1999 and ran through 2008 before later returning as a pay-per-view name in 2016 and 2017.
No Mercy was also the name of WWE’s critically acclaimed video game for Nintendo 64 that was released in 2000.
Starting at the beginning of this year, all of NXT’s streaming specials have returned to taking place on the road instead of being held at the WWE Performance Center. NXT will be in Cedar Park, Texas for the Great American Bash this Sunday (July 30).
