New champion crowned at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide
A new champion was crowned at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide in Las Vegas Friday night.
Dominik Mysterio defeated El Hijo del Vikingo in the show’s main event to become the AAA Mega Champion.
With assistance from El Grande Americano and The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, Mysterio pinned Vikingo after frog splash to earn the victory and the title win at the Cox Pavilion at the Thomas and Mack Center in Vegas.

WWE AAA Worlds Collide Las Vegas full card revealed
WWE has revealed the finalized card for the Friday, September 12 World Collide event in conjunction with AAA to be held in Las Vegas.
Five new matches have been made official for the WWE AAA World Collide event, joining the previously announced El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Dominik Mysterio AAA Mega Championship match on the show.
The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will challenge Psycho Clown and Pagano for the AAA World Tag Team titles in a newly announced bout.
Also announced, Natalya will take on Faby Apache in a bout to determine a new number one contender to Flammer’s AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.
In a mixed tag match, Finn Balor and Roxanne Perez will battle Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice.
El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. will defend the AAA Latin American Championship in a four-way against WWE’s Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, and Ethan Page.
Finally, La Parka, Mascarita Sagrada, Octagon Jr., and Nino Hamburguesa will face Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro in an eight-man “Lucha Showcase” tag.

New WWE AAA Worlds Collide trios match added
A new six-man tag team match has been announced for WWE AAA Worlds Collide set for Saturday, June 7.
Comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias revealed a new promotional image for the show in announcing that he would be in attendance for the June 7 event, announcing a new six-man tag team match for Worlds Collide in the process. AAA’s social media accounts confirmed the new bout, with Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde of the LWO facing AAA’s Octagon Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana.
Worlds Collide will stream on WWE’s YouTube channel in English and Spanish on Saturday, June 7 beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern time. The updated card:

New WWE AAA Worlds Collide matches announced
Two new matches are set for the WWE AAA Worlds Collide event on Saturday, June 7.
New WWE NXT North American Champion Ethan Page will make his first title defense on the show against Laredo Kid, Je’Von Evans, and Rey Fenix. Page defeated Ricky Saints on this week’s NXT to capture the title. Later in the show, his Worlds Collide challengers confronted him as he celebrated in the ring and the title bout was made official.
The winner of the Worlds Collide North American title four-way will go on to defend against Sean Legacy at a later date.
A tag team match featuring Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice from NXT against AAA’s Chik Tormenta and Dalys was also added to the Worlds Collide card during Tuesday’s NXT episode. Vaquer lost her NXT Women’s Championship in the main event of the show to Jacy Jayne.
Four matches have been announced for Worlds Collide. The show streams in English and Spanish on WWE’s YouTube channel on Saturday, June 7 at 3 p.m. Eastern time.

Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable announced for WWE AAA Worlds Collide
A new match is set for Worlds Collide.
It was announced during Saturday Night’s Main Event that Hijo del Vikingo will take on Chad Gable in another match pitting an AAA star against a WWE star. Vikingo was also shown in the crowd during Saturday’s show in Tampa.
Recent months have seen Chad Gable feud with WWE’s luchadores, both as himself and as a masked alter-ego called El Grande Americano. At Backlash, Americano cost Penta the Intercontinental Championship after headbutting him from the top rope with a loaded mask while the referee was distracted. On the following Raw, he cost Penta another match after grabbing him through the crowd and delivering another headbutt.
The first match for Worlds Collide was announced on Friday’s SmackDown, where Legado del Fantasma will take on El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown, and Pagano.

WWE AAA Worlds Collide to stream on YouTube, first match announced
WWE made two announcements regarding the June 7 WWE AAA Worlds Collide event on Friday’s SmackDown.
First, the Worlds Collide show will stream on YouTube with both English and Spanish commentary. A broadcast or streaming partner for the event had not been officially announced prior.
Second, the first match has been announced for the Saturday, June 7 show. Legado Del Fantasma’s Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto will face AAA’s El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown, and Pagano in trios action.
The bout was set up with a video package on Friday’s SmackDown with Escobar, Angel (Angel Garza) and Berto (Humberto Carrillo).
WWE AAA Worlds Collide is part of a doubleheader day for WWE events in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 7. The Money in the Bank PLE will stream on Peacock at 7 p.m. Eastern time, with Worlds Collide set for a 3 p.m. Eastern kickoff on YouTube.
WWE announced in April that they had acquired a controlling stake in AAA.
