AEW Dynamite ratings up slightly with World title match

Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite episode — featuring a World Championship match between Hangman Page and Jon Moxley — averaged 612,000 viewers on TBS. That’s up 0.7 percent from last week and is the largest audience total for the show since July 9.

Dynamite drew a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 7.1 percent from last week but tying the second-worst rating the show has done in that category since April 23.

According to Wrestlenomics, Dynamite finished fifth on the cable charts in the demo on Wednesday night.

As compared to the same week in 2024, Dynamite’s overall viewership was up 0.5 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 16.7 percent. It’s the third time since April that the show has had a year-over-year increase in total viewership. This year’s numbers do not include viewers watching on the HBO Max simulcast.

WWE NXT viewership down, 18-49 demo rating steady

Tuesday night’s WWE NXT episode averaged 675,000 viewers on The CW, down 9.6 percent from last week. It’s the second-lowest viewership total for the show since July 8.

In the 18-49 demo, NXT drew a 0.16 rating. That’s the same rating the show did last week (which had an appearance by The Undertaker) and ties the best rating NXT has drawn in that category since April 22. It finished sixth on all of television in prime time last night with no major sports competition.

As compared to the same week in 2024, when NXT was moved to SyFy because of USA Network coverage of the Olympics, the show’s overall viewership was up 44.2 percent while the 18-49 rating was up 6.7 percent, so the audience continues to skew much older on broadcast television.

AEW Collision ratings for July 26 episode

Saturday night’s AEW Collision episode averaged 327,000 viewers on TNT, down six percent from the previous week. Despite the drop, this is the second-highest audience total for the show since June 22.

In the 18-49 demo, Collision finished fifth on the primetime cable charts with a 0.08 rating. That’s up 33.3 percent from last week and is the best rating the show has done in that category since July 5.

There was no major sports competition on cable, although the ESPN coverage of a Savannah Bananas baseball game aired head-to-head and topped the cable charts with a 0.16 rating (averaging 670,000 viewers overall). MLB coverage on Fox led the night on the broadcast networks.

As compared to the same week in 2024, Collision’s viewership was down 14.4 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 33.3 percent. This year’s numbers do not include viewership from the HBO Max simulcast.

WWE SmackDown ratings up for Hulk Hogan tribute

Friday night’s WWE SmackDown episode — featuring a tribute to Hulk Hogan the day after his passing — averaged 1.707 million viewers on USA Network. That’s up 10.4 percent from the previous week and is the best audience total for the show since April 18, which was the night before WrestleMania.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown topped all of television with a 0.48 rating. The number is up 6.7 percent from last week and is the highest rating the show has done in that category since April 25, the post-Mania SmackDown.

There was no major sports competition on the night, and SmackDown nearly doubled the next highest-rated show in the key demo, (Celebrity Jeopardy on ABC). SmackDown finished ninth on TV in terms of total viewers in prime time.

As compared to the same week in 2024, when the show still aired on Fox, SmackDown’s overall viewership was down 17.1 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 7.7 percent. The year-over-year numbers are much closer than they have been in any week since the move from Fox back to cable.

AEW Dynamite ratings for July 23 episode

Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 608,000 viewers on TBS, up 3.4 percent from last week. It’s the second-highest audience total for the show since June 25.

Dynamite drew a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demo, a decrease of 6.7 percent from last week. This ties the lowest number the show has done in that category since March 5.

The show finished eighth on the prime time cable charts in the key demo. A Philadelphia Phillies vs. Boston Red Sox baseball game on ESPN aired head-to-head and ranked first for the night on cable with a 0.32 rating and 1.402 million viewers. The top broadcast network shows were CBS’ “Big Brother” and ABC’s “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”

As compared to the same week in 2024, Dynamite’s overall viewership was down 22.7 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 46.2 percent. This year’s numbers do not include people watching on HBO Max.

Undertaker appearance helps boost WWE NXT ratings

Tuesday night’s WWE NXT episode averaged 747,000 viewers on The CW, an increase of 27.5 percent from last week. It’s the best viewership the show has done since February 25.

The episode — which took place on the road in Houston and included an appearance by The Undertaker — drew a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 33.3 percent from last week and ties the highest rating the show has done in that category since April 22. In the demo, NXT finished sixth on all of television in prime time.

The main sports competition on the night was a WNBA game on ESPN that ranked third on TV and tops on cable with a 0.20 rating in 18-49 and averaged 1.175 million viewers airing head-to-head with NXT.

As compared to the same week in 2024, when the show was still on USA Network, NXT’s overall viewership was up 18 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 15.8 percent, showing how NXT’s audience continues to skew older on broadcast TV as opposed to cable.

AEW Collision viewership up, 18-49 demo rating down

Saturday night’s AEW Collision averaged 348,000 viewers on TNT, up 7.7 percent from the previous week’s episode that aired on a Thursday. This is the best viewership total for the show since June 22 and is up 12.3 percent from the previous Saturday airing on July 5.

Collision drew a 0.06 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 14.3 percent from last week and ties the lowest rating the show has done in that category since February 1, when it aired head-to-head with WWE’s Royal Rumble. The rating is down 40 percent from the last time Collision aired in its regular Saturday time slot.

The show faced competition from the WNBA All-Star Game on ABC as well as UFC PPV prelims on ESPN.

As compared to the same week in 2024, Collision’s overall viewership was down 26.3 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 60 percent. This year’s numbers do not include data from the Max simulcast that began at the start of 2025.

AEW Dynamite ratings down for All In fallout episode

Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite, the All In fallout episode of the show. averaged 588,000 viewers on TBS. That’s down 7.7 percent from last week and is the second-lowest audience for the show since May 21.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.15 rating. That’s down 6.3 percent from last week and matches the lowest rating the show has done in that category since April 23. The show did finish first on cable in the key demo, ranking slightly ahead of Fox News’ Gutfeld.

The biggest sports-related competition for Dynamite was the annual ESPY Awards on ABC which drew a 0.35 rating in 18-49 and averaged 2.179 million viewers overall.

As compared to the same week in 2024, Dynamite’s overall viewership was down 26 percent while the 18-49 rating was down 44.4 percent. This year’s numbers do not include any data from the show’s simulcast on Max that began at the start of 2025.

WWE NXT ratings drop against MLB All-Star Game

Tuesday night’s Great American Bash fallout edition of WWE NXT averaged 586,000 viewers on The CW, down 15.7 percent from last week. This marks the lowest viewership total for the show since August 6 of last year.

NXT drew a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demo, a drop of 25 percent from last week. It’s the lowest rating the show has done in that category since February 7, 2023.

There was significant sports competition in the form of the MLB All-Star Game, which averaged more than seven million viewers on Fox and drew a 1.43 rating in 18-49.

As compared to the same week in 2024, when NXT still aired on USA Network, the show’s overall viewership was down 3.9 percent and the 18-49 rating was down 40 percent.

AEW Dynamite viewership down, 18-49 rating up for episode 300

Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite — the special 300th episode of the show —averaged 584,000 viewers on TBS. That’s down 4.7 percent from last week and is the lowest audience total for the show since May 21.

Dynamite drew a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo, an increase of 6.7 percent from last week. Despite the week-over-week improvement, this ties the second-lowest rating the show has done in that category since the May 21 episode.

The show finished eighth for the night on the prime time cable charts in the 18-49 demo. The biggest sports competition was a USA vs. Guatemala Gold Cup soccer game on FS1 that averaged 1.24 million viewers and topped the cable charts with a 0.40 rating in the demo. An MLB game on ESPN averaged 1.1 million viewers and drew a 0.28 rating.

As compared to the same week in 2024, Dynamite’s overall viewership was down 15.1 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 30.4 percent. The 2025 numbers do not include viewership on Max.

AEW Collision viewership increases, 18-49 demo decreases

This past Saturday’s AEW Collision averaged 398,000 viewers on TNT, up 4.2% from the previous week and its largest audience for the show since April 26th when it followed an NBA playoff game.

Collision averaged a 0.08 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 11.1% from last week and tying the second-lowest rating the show has done since March 1st.

Of note, the ratings are only for the first 87 minutes of the show that aired as it abruptly ended early due to transmission errors, according to Tony Khan. The show aired head-to-head with an NHL playoff game but not the NBA as it had in recent weeks.

As compared to the same week in 2024, overall viewership was down 23.9% while the 18-49 rating was down 46.7%. This year’s numbers do not include people watching on Max where the last 33 minutes of the show were also missing until Tuesday morning.
