Seth Rollins attacks Paul Heyman on WWE Raw

Seth Rollins emerged yet again on Raw, this time taking out Paul Heyman.

After a series of masked men lured away Austin Theory and Logan Paul, Rollins entered the ring with a steel chair as another masked man appeared on the ramp to taunt Heyman. The distraction allowed Rollins to hit Heyman with the chair, then gave him the stomp for good measure.

The Vision came out to open Raw as Paul Heyman started to go off on Rollins, saying he hated his song and accused him of stealing the WrestleMania main event from Logan Paul. After Theory cut a promo, Heyman called out Rollins but got Adam Pearce, who accused them of taking out Jey Uso and said he wanted to talk with Rollins, but not with The Vision around as Rollins was still not medically cleared. That was when the masked men arrived to play mind games with Heyman’s stable.

Later backstage, Heyman was being placed in an ambulance as Paul went to get the car. That left Theory to be jumped by Jimmy Uso as LA Knight was revealed to the driver of the ambulance, apparently kidnapping Heyman.

After being off TV since October, Rollins returned at Saturday’s Elimination Chamber, stomping Paul and costing him the WWE title match at WrestleMania.

Seth Rollins returns, attacks Logan Paul at WWE Elimination Chamber

Seth Rollins is back.

Towards the end of the men’s Elimination Chamber match on Saturday a masked man entered through the crowd and attempted to climb the structure. Officials escorted him away as other officials took Trick Williams to the back following his elimination. The distractions allowed another masked man to slip through and enter the chamber. Rollins proceeded to lay out Logan Paul with the stomp then unmasked, revealing himself to be the man behind The Vision’s recent misfortune.

Rollins had been out of action since October recovering from shoulder surgery. He was written out on the Raw after Crown Jewel when Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker shockingly turned against him, laying him out. In the months since The Vision split from Rollins, they’ve added two new members: Logan Paul who joined them in the men’s War Games match at Survivor Series and Austin Theory, who was the original masked man helping The Vision.

At the Royal Rumble, a new masked man began attacking Vision members up until Friday, when Logan Paul laid him out before he could attack Theory. When Paul unmasked the man, it was revealed to be nobody relevant.

Seth Rollins ‘getting close’ to WWE return

Seth Rollins is getting closer to being able to return from the shoulder injury that has sidelined him since October.

Because of the injury, Rollins is not able to compete at Elimination Chamber this Saturday. But he appeared on Friday’s edition of ESPN’s First Take and gave a positive update on his status, showing off an improved range of motion in his arm.

“No, I will not be able to do anything this weekend. But we’re getting close,” Rollins said. “I mean, look, I can move it around, it’s not in a sling anymore. It’s feeling good. It was in October, is when I got the surgery. So, you know, you look at the timeline, we’re getting close. We’re getting close. We’re not all the way there, but we’re getting close, guys.”

Rollins suffered the rotator cuff injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel: Perth 2025. He was World Heavyweight Champion at the time but had to vacate the title. When asked who he’d like to face when he returns, Rollins told First Take that he wants to win back the title that he never actually lost in the ring.

The current World Heavyweight Champion is CM Punk. He has a title defense against Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber. The Punk vs. Balor winner then advances to WrestleMania 42 to defend the belt against Roman Reigns.

WrestleMania season is when Rollins has been targeting for his return all along. He appeared on ESPN’s Get Up today as well and reiterated that whether he’ll be able to make it back for Mania depends on if he receives clearance from WWE’s doctors or not.

A match between Rollins and Bron Breakker was rumored for Mania, but Breakker is now recovering from his own injury after needing to have hernia surgery.

CM Punk says Seth Rollins is one of the greatest superstars of the last decade

WWE World Champion CM Punk recently broke kayfabe to heap praise on one of his arch rivals, Seth Rollins, calling him one of the greatest superstars of the last decade.

Recently appearing on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike with his wife, AJ Lee, Punk opened up on the emergence and rise of indie wrestlers in WWE before citing his name as an example.

Gosh, I’m conflicted when I talk about this stuff because then people will point and say, ‘oh, you’re egotistical, you’re this, you’re that.’ The truth of the matter is, the first guy through the wall gets bloodied. I was the first guy through the wall. Independent wrestling was looked down upon. It was the land of the giants. I have to the casual observer some pretty ridiculous tattoos, but like everything else, tattoos are subjective. I wasn’t supposed to make it as far as I did, but I would not be denied,” Punk said.

There are many more men and women that are just like that, that they bet on themselves, they believe in themselves, but they don’t have a look that fits a certain person’s idea of what a pro wrestler is. And that was definitely me. So being able to try to always reach down and pull up the next generation, or you know, I’m not pulling the ladder up. I’m trying to help other people get here,” he added.

Punk continued and added Rollins’ name as another example, who, despite the odds, made it big in WWE.

I think Seth Rollins is a great example of that. You know, he’s a guy that fit the same mold as I did. He didn’t have the size. You wouldn’t look at him and be like, oh yeah, he’s a world champion. And now he’s multiple time, you know, heavyweight champion. And one of the, it pains me to say it, but he’s one of the greatest superstars over the last 10, 12 years.”

Before joining WWE in 2010, Rollins wrestled on the independent circuit and Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2004 to 2010, where he won multiple titles, including the ROH World Championship.

Seth Rollins names his Mount Rushmore of in-ring competitors

Seth Rollins has named his Mount Rushmore of potentially some of the greatest in-ring performers of all time.

Speaking on Club Shay Shay, Rollins was asked about his Mount Rushmore of WWE stars, and he responded by sharing several legendary names based on their in-ring performance and talent. Over the years, several wrestlers have revealed their own versions of the wrestling Mount Rushmore, and now Rollins has his own.

“If you wanna go like in-ring all time, you’re looking at Shawn Michaels, you’re looking at Eddie Guerrero, you’re looking at, after that it gets real hard,” Rollins said.

“Dynamite Kid was really good, but he was kind of a jerk, Bret Hart was really great. You could put Ric in there as well. Flair was special. Dusty was a special promo, but Dusty’s in-ring work wasn’t blowing anyone out of the water.”

“Bryan Danielson would be up there, I think. I’d like to be in the conversation at some point. AJ Styles, who also just retired, is someone who is one of the greatest of all time in the ring. It’s a fun discussion, but it’s hard to narrow it down.”

However, Rollins also noted that when discussing a Mount Rushmore of WWE’s biggest names, it would arguably include Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammartino, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Rock based on their drawing powers and the money they brought in.

MJF names two WWE stars as dream opponents

Two current WWE stars are on MJF’s list of dream opponents.

During an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, MJF named Kevin Owens (as Kevin Steen) and Seth Rollins as two people he would like to face. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and John Cena are some of his other dream opponents, but MJF did not select them due to the Piper match being impossible and Cena now being retired.

“Piper’s always going to be the answer. Alive? I think this answer is going to shock people, because also I will say I can’t pick people that are retired. John would have been my answer, but he’s retired,” MJF said. “So I’m going to say Kevin Steen. [Not Kevin Owens] No, I want Kevin Steen, the one that I watched in Ring of Honor. Not saying Kevin Owens isn’t spectacular. Kevin Owens is one of the best wrestlers in the world and it sucks that he’s hurt right now. It kills me. But Kevin Owens can’t exactly say some of the things that Kevin Steen was able to say back in the day.

“So I want Kevin Steen. That’s a dream match for me. I think that that would probably go down as one of the greatest matches of all time and one of the greatest promos of all time. I think I also have to say Seth Rollins for sure.”

Owens underwent neck surgery in 2025 and does not have a return date yet. He’s set to be featured as a coach on the next season of the A&E series WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats).

At Super Bowl Radio Row last week, MJF and Rollins met up for what was a pleasant interaction between two top stars of rival companies.

MJF — the AEW World Champion — did not choose any AEW names as dream opponents because it would be a boring answer, but he noted that Swerve Strickland, Andrade El Idolo, and Tommaso Ciampa are among the first-time opponents he would like to wrestle.

The next match for MJF will take place at AEW Grand Slam Australia this Saturday with him defending the AEW World title against Brody King.

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch launch new coffee line

Known for his love for coffee and often discussing it publicly, Seth Rollins and his wife, Becky Lynch, are now set to launch their own coffee line.

In a recent conversation with Complex, Rollins and Lynch revealed their new partnership with Dayglow.

“Dayglow, first of all, the quality is elite, the best in Los Angeles in my opinion, and that’s saying a lot. We met the owner, Tom [Ifergen], and hit it off instantly. He wasn’t pretentious or corporate, just a guy who loved coffee. We both had Midwest roots and connected over traveling and discovering coffee the same way. From a people perspective, a quality perspective, and a cool aesthetic perspective, it all fit together,” he said.

Rollins and Lynch are the primary investors in this new coffee line. While no information on its name or release date is available yet, the couple hopes to use their upcoming white-label brand as a way to bridge the existing gap in the coffee market.

Lynch talked about coffee being about “love” and the “thing that gets you out of bed in the morning.”

“It’s simple, but it’s an adventure. Whenever I go to a town, I’m finding the best coffee. I’m really going on an adventure to a new coffee shop, a new type of espresso,” she explained.

“It’s like wrestling. We do it because we love it. Coffee brings people together. You sit, talk, bond. This is us sharing something we love. We just want to put good coffee in the hands of people who don’t have access to it. We were those people once, just figuring out what we liked,” Rollins added.

Seth Rollins comments on their partnership with Dayglow

“The partnership is half-and-half. There are so many logistics we don’t understand. We’re coffee people, not business people. We worked with Dayglow to talk about what our flavors are and what we like. The actual bean, what we’re going to put in the bag and the can, is still undecided. We still have to do a sampling, probably in the next couple of weeks,” he said.

Staying optimistic, Lynch has “scouted a spot” for their “brick-and-mortar cafe” while Rollins is hoping for the best.

Seth Rollins praises ‘fellow WWE superstar’ Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show

Seth Rollins was a big fan of Bad Bunny’s halftime performance at the Super Bowl.

While guest hosting NFL Network’s Good Morning Football on Tuesday, Rollins took a moment to praise “fellow WWE superstar” Bad Bunny for the performance he gave during the Super Bowl halftime show and the message of love and unity he chose to send. Rollins was at the game on Sunday with Becky Lynch and Kofi Kingston.

“I wanted to give a shoutout to Bad Bunny, because it was just awesome,” Rollins said. “My colleague Benito, fellow WWE superstar. You know, there was a lot of talk going into the halftime show about this and that and this and that. But at the end of the day, it was about unity. His message was about bringing people together. Love is stronger than hate. And I just thought that was so beautiful and so powerful.

“And it didn’t matter where you come from, what your background was, what your ethnicity, your religious background, anything. It was just about love. It was like, come as you are, be a part of this, and I thought that was beautiful. And it was a bigger kind of — that’s what the Super Bowl is. That’s what football is. You bring everybody together, you watch this game, you talk about it, we’re talking about it. And there’s just so much joy that comes from football and that comes from being together as a community as one with different cultures. It was such a beautiful halftime show. I don’t even know a single Bad Bunny song, and I was nearly in tears by the end of it. I was nearly in tears by the end of it. The messaging was beautiful.”

Bad Bunny is a big wrestling fan and has earned a lot of praise from fans for the few matches he’s worked for WWE. It’s not known when his next WWE appearance will be, but it could happen soon.

In 2025, Rollins joined the cast of Good Morning Football as a regular guest host. He’s gotten the chance to get more sports media experience in recent months due to the shoulder injury that has sidelined him since October. Rollins is hoping that he’ll be ready to return in time for WrestleMania 42 this April.

Kofi Kingston thanks fellow WWE stars for free Super Bowl ticket

Due to the kindness of a couple of his WWE colleagues, Kofi Kingston got to attend the Super Bowl for free on Sunday night.

Kingston sent out a message this morning thanking Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch for having him as their guest at Super Bowl LX. The game did not go the way Kingston (a New England Patriots fan) wanted it to, but he still had a great time seeing his team play on football’s biggest stage.

“Wish the result was different, but I have to thank Seth & Becky for making this possible,” Kingston tweeted. “Watching your team play in the Super Bowl is such a rare experience & I’m beyond grateful for their thoughtfulness. BIG Salute to the Cap’n & The Man! I am forever indebted…”

In his tweet, Kingston included an image of the text thread where Rollins invited him to the Super Bowl. Kingston offered to pay for the ticket, but Rollins said he himself had received the ticket for free and would not allow Kingston to pay for it.

Rollins is a big NFL fan and has been branching out into sports media, including a recurring role as a guest host on the NFL Network series “Good Morning Football.” Leading into the Super Bowl, he made several media appearances at Radio Row last week. Rollins is currently recovering from a rotator cuff injury but is hoping to be cleared to return in time for WrestleMania 42 this April.

Seth Rollins: ‘I would not be who I am today without AJ Styles’

Seth Rollins says AJ Styles pioneered the style of wrestling that he uses today.

With Styles’ career seemingly over following his loss to Gunther at the WWE Royal Rumble on Saturday, Rollins was asked about Styles during a recent media event.

In an interview posted to TikTok by casey_buscher, Rollins said:

“I would not be who I am today without AJ Styles. 100 percent. Because AJ Styles pioneered the style that I use today. He’s one of the guys when I was 14, 15, 16 years old that I looked to and I said, ‘I may not be able to be Hulk Hogan. I may not be Andre the Giant, The Ultimate Warrior, any of these guys. I can be Shawn Michaels, I can be AJ Styles, I can be Jeff Hardy.”

AJ was one of the first guys that I saw that could just do it all. He could do everything. He could brawl, he could fight, he could high fly, he could be a technical wizard. He was incredible.”

Rollins and several other wrestlers are currently in San Francisco for Super Bowl week media events. Earlier today, MJF posted pictures of him meeting up with Rollins at one event.

Rollins has been out of action since October 11, 2025, when he was injured performing a coast-to-coast headbutt on Cody Rhodes in the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship match, which Rollins would ultimately win.

Rollins’ comments about Styles are available below:

WWE and AEW stars meet up at Super Bowl Radio Row

At Super Bowl Radio Row on Thursday, one of the top stars in WWE met up with the current AEW World Champion.

Seth Rollins and MJF were both in San Francisco on Thursday for Super Bowl week media appearances. While there, the two took some time to have a conversation that was captured in a brief clip by Bleacher Report. Another video showed Rollins and MJF jokingly facing off before then exchanging pleasantries.

“I appreciate you, man,” MJF told Rollins.

“Somebody’s going to get mad. But, hey, it was awesome, dude,” Rollins responded.

Rollins is a huge football fan and has been branching out into sports media more over the past year. Currently sidelined with a rotator cuff injury, Rollins has used the free time to take on more of those opportunities. He was not able to compete at the Royal Rumble due to his injury but is hoping to make it back in time for WrestleMania 42 this April.

At Radio Row, MJF’s appearances included guest spots on Mostly Sports with Mark Titus & Brandon Walker and The K&C Masterpiece. MJF is coming off a loss to Brody King on Dynamite last night, which set up that he will defend his AEW World Championship against King at Grand Slam Australia on February 14.

CM Punk and Big E were among the other wrestling personalities at Radio Row this week for interviews. With so many eyes focused on the football game and an abundance of media outlets in town, celebrities from all forms of entertainment are brought in to promote their products.

Seth Rollins: When I come back, the WWE World Heavyweight title is mine

On Thursday morning, Seth Rollins stopped by ESPN’s Get Up as the promotional push for WWE Royal Rumble 2026 continued.

Rollins will not be able to compete in the Rumble due to a shoulder injury. He still has his sights on championship gold, though, with Rollins saying he’ll be coming after the World Heavyweight title once he’s back in action. Rollins named current champ CM Punk as the person in WWE that he hates most.

“The current World Heavyweight Champion of WWE, the guy who’s holding onto my title, keep it warm, Punk,” Rollins said. “Because when I come back, it’s mine.”

Rollins was the World Heavyweight Champion prior to his injury but had to vacate the belt when he was forced out of action. He’s hoping that he’ll be cleared in time for WrestleMania 42 this April. Rollins will also likely have issues to settle with Bron Breakker and The Vision once he returns, with Rollins having been kicked out of the faction in an angle that WWE ran after his injury.

While hyping Saturday’s PLE, Rollins noted that he’s excited to see which young wrestlers elevate themselves through their Rumble performances.

“The Rumble’s exciting, dude. You got 30 guys, 30 girls, one winner, 29 people getting thrown over the top rope,” he said. “You punch your ticket to WrestleMania. This is it, this is make or break. It’s our time. This is like going to the Super Bowl for us. So anytime you get an opportunity to go in there and punch your ticket to the biggest stage. There’s surprises, there’s returns, there’s face-offs. It’s one of the best events in WWE, my favorite as a kid growing up. So I’m just excited to see which of these young guns, on the women’s side, on the men’s side, steps up, elevates their game, and maybe punches their ticket to the main event of WrestleMania.”

Saturday’s event is taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and has a start time of 2 p.m. Eastern, airing live on the ESPN app in the United States and Netflix elsewhere.

Seth Rollins names five ‘incredible’ young WWE wrestlers

Seth Rollins views Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Je’Von Evans, and Carmelo Hayes as young stars people should be watching out for at the Royal Rumble this weekend.

A shoulder injury will prevent Rollins from competing in the Rumble himself. Still, he made an appearance on ESPN First Take yesterday to promote the PLE. Rollins named Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Je’Von Evans, and Carmelo Hayes as young stars that casual fans should be paying attention to when they watch the show.

“WWE is full of extremely incredible young talent right now,” Rollins said. “You look at NXT, which is our developmental brand, and there’s tons of guys who have come through there, myself included, who are ready to take the next step. Bron Breakker’s the first one that jumps off the page. He is one of the Steiner Brothers’ kids, so he’s got that Steiner DNA in him. You look at Logan Paul. You look at a guy like Austin Theory. There’s a cat on Raw named Je’Von Evans, the bouncy kid. I love him, I love what he’s doing. Carmelo Hayes is the United States Champion over on SmackDown, he is incredible.

“So there is a ton of young talent. And the cool thing about the Royal Rumble is: it’s meant to make stars. That’s what it’s there for. And so anything can happen when you get 30 guys in there going at it at the same time for a shot at the main event of WrestleMania.”

Of those five, Hayes is the only one who has not yet been officially confirmed as a Rumble entrant. Breakker, Paul, Theory, and Evans all declared for the match on Raw last night.

Rollins is missing out on the Rumble but hopes to be able to return to the ring in time for WrestleMania. When he does come back, it’s possible that he could be feuding with Breakker, Paul, and Theory. After Rollins suffered his shoulder injury in October, WWE ran an angle where he was betrayed by Breakker and kicked out of The Vision. Paul and Theory have now been added to the faction with Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman.

The Royal Rumble takes place from Saudi Arabia this Saturday (January 31) and will stream live on the ESPN App in the United States and Netflix everywhere else starting at 2 p.m. Eastern time.

Seth Rollins says he won’t be at WWE Royal Rumble

Seth Rollins isn’t going to be in Saudi Arabia for the Royal Rumble this weekend — if he can be believed about his own injury status.

While promoting the event on ESPN First Take, Rollins said he won’t be ready to return in time for the Rumble. He injured his shoulder in October 2025 and has been doing well in the rehab process, but WrestleMania is a more realistic timeline for when he’ll be able to return. Whether he’ll be able to compete at Mania depends on whether WWE doctors will clear him in time.

“Let’s pump the brakes on me participating in the Royal Rumble. I’m not ready there yet. I just had my rotator cuff done in October. I’ve got a couple months left to go. I wish I could get myself in there, but that’s not going to be the case,” Rollins said on First Take.

“I’ll give it away: I’m not going to be at the Rumble. I just can’t. I would love to be in there and dump all those dudes over the top rope, punch my card to WrestleMania. But the doctors are just not going to let it happen this time around unfortunately.”

Rollins has admitted that he blew his credibility when it comes to injuries when he participated in the fake knee injury angle prior to SummerSlam last year. This is a legitimate injury, though, with Rollins having hurt his shoulder against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel: Perth. Rollins was forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship after that, and WWE ran an angle where he was betrayed by Bron Breakker and the rest of The Vision.

Riyadh is hosting the Royal Rumble this Saturday (January 31). The PLE has a 2 p.m. Eastern start time airing on the ESPN app in the United States and Netflix everywhere else.

Seth Rollins thinks chances of The Shield WWE reunion are ‘very slim’

Seth Rollins doubts that he, Roman Reigns & Jon Moxley will ever reunite as a trio — unless it happens down the road at a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

To promote the new season of “WWE: Unreal,” Rollins and his wife Becky Lynch participated in an “Actually Us” interview for GQ. They fielded questions that have been posed on the internet, with Rollins addressing one post that asked if The Shield will ever get back together. Because Rollins and Reigns are rivals in storyline and Moxley is now with AEW, he thinks the chances are “very slim.”

“Not a lot of love lost between myself and Roman Reigns. Dean Ambrose — Jon Moxley — not currently with the company. Don’t know if he’s ever coming back,” Rollins said. “I would say chances are very slim. Maybe one day there will be a Hall of Fame induction where all three of us will be in the same place at the same time. I would say we’re looking at like a real, real [slim chance]. Maybe Kurt Angle [who once teamed with The Shield for one night] has a better chance.”

The Shield debuted for WWE in 2012 and last teamed together in 2019, when Moxley departed WWE for AEW. Moxley has been one of the faces of AEW throughout its existence, earning praise from Tony Khan as the most consistent presence in company history.

Rollins, who has been sidelined since October due to a shoulder injury, noted during the GQ interview that his rehab is going “quite well.” He’s hoping to make it back for WrestleMania 42, but that all depends on whether WWE will clear him in time.
