UFC on ESPN+ 112 live results: Marvin Vettori vs. Roman Dolidze 2

The Octagon is back inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas this week for a full slate of 13 fights as UFC On ESPN+ 112 takes place.

The main event is a five-round middleweight bout between former title challenger Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze. This is the second time the two have fought, as Vettori scored a decision win over Dolidze at UFC 286 in March 2023. Vettori is coming off a near two-year layoff following a loss to Jared Cannonier in June 2023, while Dolidze comes into this bout having won two straight fights.

Also on the main card is a welterweight bout between Chidi Njokuani and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos; a lightweight bout pitting Alexander Hernandez against Kurt Holobaugh; a bantamweight bout between Da’Mon Blackshear; and a light heavyweight bout between Diyar Nurgozhay and Brendson Ribeiro.

Musasa lands a left hand. Musasa with an inside kick as Vera lands a spinning wheel kick as Musasa eats it. Vera lands a body kick and Musasa catches it, dumps him to the mat, but lets him up. Musasa with an inside leg kick then another. He lands another leg kick. He lands again with a leg kick. Musasa with a combination. Vera drops Musasa with a head kick and jumps on the back for a choke. Vera has it locked in and Musasa taps! Vera was the biggest underdog on the card, so this is a massive upset.

UFC on ESPN 47 live results: Marvin Vettori vs. Jared Cannonier

Former middleweight title challengers Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier square off in the five-round main event at Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 47 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Vettori is currently ranked third at 185 pounds and is coming off a win over Roman Dolidze in March, while Cannonier is ranked fourth and is coming off a win over Sean Strickland in December.

Also on the main card is eighth-ranked lightweight Arman Tsarukyan taking on Joaquim Silva in the co-main event in addition to Armen Petrosyan vs. Christian Leroy Duncan, Pat Sabatini vs. Lucas Almeida, and Nicolas Dalby vs. Muslim Salikhov.

ESPN2 PRELIMS | 7 PM ET/4 PM PT

> Light Heavyweights- Zac Pauga (6-1, 1-1 UFC) vs. Modestas Bukauskas (14-5, 2-3 UFC)

Pauga pressing forward with the jab and lands a right hand that made Bukauskas stumble. Pauga then gets a takedown and is working inside the guard. Pauga lands an elbow from the top. They get to their feet and break to the center. Bukauskas lands a leg kick. They clinch against the fence. Pauga trying hard for the underhooks and to get a takedown as he has advantage against the fence, but they separate. Bukauskas lands a jab. He lands another. Bukauskas lands a left hook to the body. They trade right hands. Bukauskas lands a right hand that has Pauga backing up. Bukauskas lands another hard right hand. They trade at the end. 10-9 Bukauskas.

Argueta pushes it against the fence right away and is able to get the takedown and the back. He’s trying to get the hooks in. They scramble and Argueta ends up in the half-guard. He works to the neck and has a guillotine choke locked in. Lawrence is pushing the hips but still in danger. Argueta loses his grip but still has the neck. He gets a mounted guillotine choke locked in and Lawrence appeared to tap once and the fight is stopped. Replay shows that Keith Peterson touched Lawrence’s arm to see if he was still out and it kind of forced a tap motion and it was stopped, so we’re going to a replay here.

> Women’s Flyweights- Tereza Bleda (6-1, 0-1 UFC) vs. Gabriella Fernandes (8-2, 0-1 UFC)

They trade kicks early on. Bleda looks for a takedown but Fernandes defends against the fence. Bleda landing kicks looking to close the distance. They trade kicks. Fernandes lands a kick and Bleda catches it and gets a takedown despite a fence grab from Fernandes. Bleda in the half-mount and landing right hands. Bleda continuing to land from the top as she’s attacking the head and body. She ends the round on top. 10-9 Bleda.

They clinch against the fence as Bleda is working for the takedown. Bleda gets the takedown and is working inside the guard of Fernandes against the fence. Fernandes throws her legs up looking for a triangle choke as Bleda is defending, and Bleda gets back into the full guard. Bleda ends the round on top landing punches. 10-9 Bleda, 20-18 Bleda.

We have some controversy here as they’re looking at a replay for a clash of heads but it happened during a throw takedown, which often happens. It shouldn’t be called a clash of heads as it’s a legal wrestling throw. This will be interesting. It shouldn’t be overturned. They are counting it as a clash of heads and are going to the scorecards instead of giving Hernandez the TKO win.

The Octagon debuts in France for a long-awaited and much-anticipated first event to be held in Paris, a show that has been years in the making, and it brings along a heavyweight main event featuring one of the country’s most popular home fighters.

In the main event, former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Ciryl Gane looks to get back into the win column, and back into title contention, as he takes on streaking knockout artist Tai Tuivasa in a five-round affair. Gane is looking to rebound from a title unification loss to Francis Ngannou in January, while Tuivasa is on a five-fight win streak, all coming by knockout, after finishing Derrick Lewis in February.

In the co-main event, former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker also looks to get back into title contention as he faces former title challenger Marvin Vettori. Also on the main card is a middleweight bout between Nassourdine Imavov and Joaquin Buckley, a middleweight battle pitting Alessio Di Chiricio against Roman Kopylov, and an exciting featherweight match-up between Charles Jourdain and Nathaniel Wood.

They go to the mat as Egger has an arm and Egger ends up in side control and lands some punches. They get to their feet. Perez lands a flurry against the fence. They clinch at the end. 10-9 Egger.

They exchange to start the second and Perez gets the better of it before they clinch. They trade knees and Perez went for a takedown but Egger reversed though Perez ends up on top in side control. They get to their feet and Egger is on the single leg but lets go. Egger gets a takedown and is landing from the top. Egger gets the back and lands some punches as she looks to get the hooks in. She has back control and is looking for a choke. She gets a rear-naked choke locked in and Perez taps with seconds left in the round. Nice finish for Egger.

Miranda lands some right hands. Saint-Denis lands a spinning back fist that makes Miranda slip but he gets up and they trade until Saint-Denis gets a takedown. Saint-Denis lands from the top and stands and Miranda is ordered up. Saint-Denis lands a flurry and Miranda goes down and Saint-Denis gets on top and is landing with punches and elbows. UFC on ESPN+ 54 live results: Paulo Costa vs. Marvin Vettori

UFC action is back for the fourth straight week inside the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, with this show headlined by two middleweights looking to work their way back into the middleweight title picture, but fighting at 205 pounds.

Second-ranked Paulo Costa takes on fifth-ranked Marvin Vettori in the five-round main event. Both men are coming off of title fight losses to UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya. Costa was finished in the second round by Adesanya at UFC 253 in September 2020, while Vettori dropped a decision to Adesanya at UFC 263 in June. A win here for either would put them right back into the mix.

This fight was changed late Thursday night to a light heavyweight bout. Costa said at media day on Wednesday that he was 211 pounds and wouldn’t make it to 186 pounds. It was agreed upon to change to a 195-pound catchweight later on Wednesday. However, it was then thought Costa wouldn’t even make that, so they agreed to a second change to 205 pounds late on Thursday.

Also on the main card is a lightweight bout pitting surging prospect Grant Dawson against tough veteran Ricky Glenn, a women’s bantamweight bout between Jessica-Rose Clark and Joselyne Edwards, a featherweight bout between long-time veteran Alex Caceres and rising prospect Seungwoo Choi, and a welterweight bout pitting Francisco Trinaldo against Dwight Grant.

Souza landing left hands from the headlock position. Markos gets out but gives up her back. Souza looking for a choke. It’s not quite in under the chin but Souza is squeezing and Markos is able to escape as Souza is now on top. Markos escapes to her feet and lands a couple of elbows. Markos lands some short punches as they tie up early and Souza pushes it against the fence. Markos with some elbows. Souza gets a big takedown and is in side control. Markos has a little bit of a neck crank in. They work their way up and Souza pulls guard against the fence. Markos is in the half-guard and lands some punches. Markos is in side control and landing some left hands. She lands some elbows as well. Markos still landing as Souza gets her back in her guard. Souza tried for an arm but Markos got out. They were trading early and Da Silva landed some kicks to the legs and body. Da Silva went for a couple of takedowns but Molina defended and they went to the mat. Da Silva went for an armbar but Molina escapes to the top and Da Silva is looking for a triangle as he throws hammerfists. Molina is defending and lands some hard shots from the top. He’s landing but Da Silva grabs the arm and looks for the armbar. Molina gets out and is landing more punches from the top. Both landing on the ground as they scramble. Molina with some big shots from the top at the end. 10-9 Molina.

They trade early and Molina drops Da Silva with a right hand and hops on top and is landing. Molina gets full mount and is landing lots of punches. Da Silva gives up his back and Molina keeps landing until it is stopped. What a finish by Molina.

Negumereanu with a leg kick. Villanueva throws and Negumereanu ducks under and pushes it against the fence. They break and trade hard punches. They both land in close range. Both are landing and Negumereanu lands and Villanueva drops down to his knees and Negumereanu pours it on and gets the finish. Villanueva says Negumereanu was landing to the back of the head. Replays show lots of the punches on the ground were to the back of the head and questionable but Negumereanu gets the stoppage anyways.

Choi then drops Caceres with a right hand and they were scrambling on the mat and we have a timeout for what looks to be an illegal knee. Replay shows it did land and Jason Herzog checks on Caceres and takes a point away from Choi and the fight continues. They get back to trading. Caceres with a body kick. Caceres with a left hand as they clinch. Caceres lands to the body and Choi lands a head kick on the break. Choi with a right hand. Caceres with a body kick. Clark immediately closes the distance with punches and gets a takedown. Clark landing some short punches from the top. Not much is happening though as Edwards is trying to throw her legs up. They are stood up and reset by Keith Peterson. Clark gets right back to the clinch and gets another takedown, but Edwards reverses and they get to their feet. Edwards has the back standing and lands a knee. They break and Edwards just misses a kick. Edwards lands a body kick and combo as Clark was coming in. Clark pushes the fight against the fence looking for the takedown and gets it. 10-9 Clark.

They clinch right up as both are looking for the takedown. Neither is able to get it but Clark gets it down and passes to the half-guard. Clark works to the full mount. There isn’t a whole lot going on as Clark is firmly in control. Clark lands some elbows from the top. Clark with more elbows as they stand before the end of the round. Welcome to F4WOnline.com’s live coverage of UFC 263: Adesanya vs. Vettori 2, emanating from the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

The Octagon returns to Arizona for the first time since in over two years, bringing an absolutely stacked card to Glendale, with two title fights and three five-round bouts, including two of the biggest stars currently in the sport on the card.

UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya defends the title against Marvin Vettori in the main event. This is a rematch of an April 2018 bout won by Adesanya, which coincidentally took place in the same arena as this show. Adesanya is looking to rebound from his first career loss, as he dropped a decision to Jan Blachowicz in his attempt to become a two-division champion in March. Vettori comes into this fight riding a five-fight win streak.

In the co-main event, it is another rematch as UFC Flyweight Champion Deiveson Figueiredo defends against Brandon Moreno for the second time. The two fought to a draw at UFC 256 in December in one of the best fights of 2020, and they look to settle the score here.

In another big fight on the card, Leon Edwards welcomes Nate Diaz back to the Octagon in the first-ever non-headline five-round bout in UFC history. Edwards is looking to secure a title shot, while Diaz fights for the first time since November 2019 and is looking to get back in the win column.

Also on the main card, Demian Maia takes on Belal Muhammad in a welterweight bout, and Paul Craig battles Jamahal Hill in a light heavyweight bout. The prelims have several great match-ups, capped off by a lightweight bout between Drew Dober and Brad Riddell, and a potential title eliminator bout in the women’s flyweight division as Lauren Murphy takes on Joanne Calderwood.

The UFC returns to ABC for their second showing on the network as action in the Octagon returns after a week off for the first of three events in the month of April, with a middleweight main event put together on short notice headlining this event.

Middleweight contenders Marvin Vettori and Kevin Holland square off in the five-round headliner. Vettori was originally scheduled to fight Darren Till in this fight, which could’ve decided the next title challenger, but Till was forced out due to a collarbone injury, and Holland steps in on just nine days’ notice. Holland is looking to erase the sting of a disappointing loss to Derek Brunson just 21 days ago, while Vettori is looking to score his fifth straight win.

In the co-main event, it is a battle of featherweight prospects who haven’t fought in over a year as Sodiq Yusuff puts his six-fight win streak on the line against Arnold Allen and his nine-fight win streak. Also on the main card is a middleweight battle between Sam Alvey and Julian Marquez, a women’s strawweight bout between mothers as Nina Nunes takes on Mackenzie Dern, and a welterweight bout between Mike Perry and Daniel Rodriguez kicks off the main card.

Jung lands some elbows but gets warned to not land to the back of the head. Jung gets the crucifix position for a moment but Knight powers out of it. Jung with some body punches. They get to their feet and Saldana still trying for the choke. Griffin is defending well. Saldana with a knee and they break. Griffin with an inside leg kick and gets a takedown. Griffin now gets the back and is looking for the bulldog choke again. They get to their feet and Saldana with a knee to the body. Griffin gets Saldana back to the mat and takes the back. The Octagon kicks off the final month of the year with the first of three events held at their headquarters in Las Vegas, with a middleweight headliner leading the way on this card.

Fourth-ranked middleweight Jack Hermansson looks to score his second straight win and keep his name in the title picture as he takes on Marvin Vettori, winner of three straight fights, in the five-round main event. Vettori is taking this fight on one week’s notice after Hermansson’s opponent, Kevin Holland, was forced out of the bout due to COVID. Holland himself was already a replacement for Darren Till.

Also on the card is a light heavyweight bout between Ovince Saint Preux and the undefeated Jamahal Hill, another light heavyweight bout between Roman Dolidze and John Allan, and a pair of lightweight fights as Gabriel Benitez takes on Justin Jaynes, and Matt Wiman looks for his first UFC win since 2014 against undefeated newcomer Jordan Leavitt.

He lands to the body and Jackson drops his hands and Topuria with a right hand to the jaw and Jackson goes down and is out cold. What a performance by Topuria.

Smolka moves to mount and lands then takes full back mount and is landing big punches. Smolka still landing and Jason Herzog stops the fight. What a showing by Smolka.

Leavitt was trying for a takedown right away. Wiman jumped up and Leavitt was carrying him towards his corner and then slammed Wiman to the mat and Wiman was out cold immediately. What a scary and incredible finish by Leavitt.

Dolidze with some early high kicks. Allan hurt Dolidze with a hook as Dolidze got a takedown and they scrambled and Dolidze was on top. Allan went for an armbar from the bottom but Dolidze stood. Dolidze went back to the mat and went for the heel hook and had it locked in. Allan was trying to roll out and slipped out and they got to their feet. Allan lands a leg kick as Dolidze lands a right hand. Allan with a right hand and then a jab. Dolidze with some body shots. Allan with a body kick. Allan with another body kick. Dolidze stunned Allan late and Allan went down but Dolidze went looking for a submission instead of ground-and-pound and time ran out. 10-9 Dolidze.
