Jungle Boy vs. Luchasaurus steel cage match set for AEW Full Gear

Jungle Boy will face Luchasaurus at Full Gear inside a steel cage.

The former tag team partners will meet following an angle that took place on Friday’s Rampage. Jungle Boy told Luchasaurus and Christian Cage that he had lost everything thanks to them, challenging Luchasaurus to the steel cage match. Cage responded by insulting Jungle Boy’s mother and father. Jungle Boy grabbed Cage by the throat, but Luchasaurus intervened, chokeslamming Jungle Boy through a seated chair.

The former tag team partners have been feuding ever since Luchasaurus turned on Jungle Boy at All Out back in September, siding with Christian Cage after it initially appeared that Luchasuaurs had stuck with his tag team partner. Luchasaurus chokeslammed Jungle Boy on the stage, putting him out of action for several weeks.

The Young Bucks win AEW World Tag Team titles on Dynamite

The Young Bucks won the AEW World Tag Team titles on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.

Matt & Nick Jackson defeated Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy to win the titles in the main event of tonight’s Road Rager event. The finish had Luchasaurus being thrown off the ladder through a large amount of tables set up on the outside of the ring. That allowed both Bucks to hit Jungle Boy with the BTE killer, then climb up the ladder to take the titles, winning them for a second time.

After the match, Christian Cage came to the ring to check on Luchasaurus outside of the ring, then went inside of the ring to check on Jungle Boy. Cage then turned on Jungle Boy, laying him out with the kill switch, grabbed chairs under the ring, then struck Jungle Boy with a conchairto. Relatives of Jungle Boy at ringside were shown as Cage posed to end the show.

The ladder match had been set up on last week’s Dynamite. It was originally set to be a three-way title match with The Hardys also involved. However, they were taken out of the match after Jeff Hardy was indefinitely suspended by AEW on Tuesday after being arrested for a DUI.

New stipulation added to AEW Dynamite match

A new stipulation has been added to the Dax Harwood vs. Jungle Boy match set for Dynamite.

AEW announced this afternoon that Cash Wheeler and Tully Blanchard will be handcuffed to Luchasarus at ringside to prevent any interference. Harwood last week accepted a challenge from Jungle Boy without consulting Wheeler or Blanchard. Luchasarus said he would make sure that no one got involved.

The two teams have been feuding in recent weeks. On night two of New Year’s Smash, FTR defeated Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt, with FTR scoring the pinfall win over Stunt.
