AEW Dynamite live results: Miro vs. Sammy Guevara TNT title match

Miro will defend the TNT Championship against Sammy Guevara on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.

Miro has managed eight successful TNT title defenses since winning the belt from Darby Allin in May. The match will be Guevara’s first on Dynamite since defeating Shawn Spears on the August 18 edition of the show.

Adam Cole will be in action against Jungle Boy. Cole and The Young Bucks defeated Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Christian Cage on last week’s AEW Rampage Grand Slam.

Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson of The Nightmare Family will team against Matt Sydal and Top Flight’s Dante Martin.

Penelope Ford and The Bunny will face Tay Conti and Anna Jay. Ford defeated Jay on last week’s Rampage.

Tonight’s show will be held in Rochester, New York, the hometown of the late Brodie Lee. Tony Khan announced on Twitter that the show will be dedicated to Lee’s memory.

Under the leadership of Brodie Lee Jr., Dark Order will face the Hardy Family Office in a 16-man tag match tonight.

Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Adam Cole defeated Jungle Boy

This was a really excellent match all around. Both men have some pretty remarkable chemistry already. I’m exasperated with low blow endings from the Elite, however.

They wrestled around early on with some back-and-forth exchanged but neither man could establish an advantage. Jungoe Boy got the first big shot with a shoulder tackle. He later hit his step-up arm drag followed by a dropkick, sending Cole to the floor.

Back in the ring, Jungle Boy tried to fight off an attack by scaling the turnbuckles, but Cole pushed him down, sending him crashing to the floor. Cole slowed down the pace of the match, repeatedly whipping Jungle Boy into the turnbuckles. Jungle Boy fired up with a strike sequence and a rebound lariat.

They traded big strikes in the center of the ring, concluding with thrust kicks. Jungle Boy hit a belly-to-belly suplex followed by a German, bridging for two. He perched Cole in the tree of woe and closed in with a basement dropkick for two.

A cradle from Cole bought him some space for a two-count. Cole then hit a backstabber and the ushigoroshi for a near fall. Cole taunted, but Jungle Boy popped up with a reverse hurricanrana and a sliding forearm for a near fall. Jungle Boy then hit almost a modified Death Valley driver for another near fall.

Cole surprised Jungle Boy with a superkick, sending him to the floor. He thought about Panama Sunrise to the floor, Jungle Boy went for a dive instead, but Cole cut it off with a dropkick. Jungle Boy hit a sick hurricanrana over the top rope that sent Cole to the floor.

Upon re-entry, Cole crushed Jungle Boy with a superkick. He then hit the Panama Sunrise for a good near fall. He moved the knee pad and went for the Last Shot, but Jungle Boy avoided it and locked Cole in the Snare Trap. Jungle Boy had to re-apply his grip, and Cole used that separation to mule kick Jungle Boy low with the referee’s view obscured. Cole then hit the running knee (the former Last Shot) for the win.

– After the match, the Elite came out to celebrate with Cole through a commercial break. Once back, Karl Anderson talked up the Elite. To be Elite, you need to be the AEW World Champion or the greatest tag team of all time.

Cole said that he called his shot, beating Jungle Boy by himself. He’s undefeated. Brandon Cutler tried to say something but was cut off by Nick Jackson, who gave the mic to Michael Nakazawa, leading to “CM Punk” chants. Nakazawa said he had nothing to say.

Omega talked about all the positive response and accolades about how great his match with Bryan Danielson was. He said Danielson couldn’t get the job done, and he’s not getting a rematch. Loud “Yes!” chants.

Danielson’s music played and he walked out. He asked the fans if they wanted to see a rematch between him and Omega. They do, in fact, want a rematch. Danielson said Omega doesn’t have the balls. “Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Kenny ‘No Balls’ Omega.” Omega was livid. Danielson challenged any member of the Elite for a match at Rampage.

Omega said, “how about right now?” Danielson obliged, but said he wasn’t coming alone. Frankie Kazarian, Jurassic Express, and Christian Cage came out for backup as the Elite escaped up the ramp.

**********

The Lucha Bros were backstage. Andrade El Idolo walked up and congratulated them on their championships before asking where PAC was. Andrade’s assistant pointed out they hadn’t defended the AAA tag titles in a long time. Fénix said they’d defend them anytime, anywhere.

**********

Cody Rhodes & Lee Johnson (w/ Brandi Rhodes & Arn Anderson) defeated Dante Martin & Matt Sydal

This match had phenomenal intensity. All four men were extremely motivated tonight for whatever reason. The post-match was enthralling.

Cody, Johnson, and Arn were selling discontent from the very start. Cody and Dante started off and wrestled around before tagging in their partners. The high-flyers had the upper hand on Cody and Johnson for a moment. Dante and Johnson had a really entertaining athletic exchange before it broke down ahead of the break.

Johnson was in control on Sydal upon return. A dropkick bought Sydal enough time to tag in Dante as Johnson tagged in Cody. Cody’s snap powerslam got two, but then Dante’s tijeras took Cody down. A Disaster Kick took out Sydal. Cody then hit Din’s Fire for a near fall.

Sydal took out Johnson, then Dante came in with a springboard missile dropkick on Cody for two. Dante followed it up with a double-springboard moonsault for two more. Johnson forcefully tagged himself in and booted Sydal in the jaw. Dante rolled Johnson up for a good near fall. Johnson came back with a shoulder breaker for the win.

– After the match, Schiavone entered the ring to interview the winners. Cody challenged Malakai Black to come out, but Arn talked him down and told him to stop talking. Arn said that Black systematically destroyed every one of them. He told Cody that he should’ve finished that fight. He got into a metaphor about Cody being too passive. Arn’s not going to coach a loser; “Come with me, Lee.” Arn and Johnson left Cody in the ring.

**********

Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, & Darby Allin (w/ Sting) defeated Bear Country (Bear Boulder & Bear Bronson) & Anthony Greene

The babyface team attacked before the bell. Allin immediately rolled up Greene with La Magistral before taking him down with a deep arm drag. Kingston hit the Kitchen Sink. Moxley and Boulder tagged in. Boulder shrugged off some shoulder tackles and a slap, catching a crossbody and planting Moxley with a powerslam. Bronson landed a running senton for two.

Kingston cut off a double team from Bear Country and just crumpled Bronson with a German suplex. Moxley did the same to Boulder. Greene tagged himself in as Allin took out Bear Country with a Coffin Drop. Moxley and Kingston shrugged off a springboard crossbody from Greene and hit the Violent Crown for the quick win.

– After the match, Sting hit a Scorpion Death Drop on Greene.

A video package recapped Britt Baker vs. Ruby Soho from last week.

Hardy Family Offices were in the ring. Hardy said that a year and a half ago, he was supposed to make his debut in Rochester. That was deleted, because Rochester is an awful town and doesn’t deserve a legend like Hardy. Orange Cassidy’s music interrupted and he and the Dark Order made their entrances. Brodie Lee Jr. (-1) posed with the Dark Order on the apron.

Orange Cassidy & Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Alex Reynolds, John Silver, Alan Angels, 10, and Colt Cabana) defeated Hardy Family Office (Matt Hardy, Marq Quen, Isiah Kassidy, Butcher, Blade, Angélico, Jack Evans, & Jora Johl)

Much like the Brodie Lee memorial show, this match could not have possibly been done better.

Dark Order showed disagreement right from the start. Angels unmasked himself and argued with Uno, allowing Butcher and Blade to hit a double team suplex for a quick near fall. Private Party hit an assisted bulldog flapjack for another two. Orange tagged in and put his hands in his pockets, taking down both members of Private Party with a dropkick. The match broke down into a sixteen-way ahead of the commercial.

Reynolds got a hot tag upon return. He and Uno tentatively worked together to take out Angélico, but more miscommunication got in the way. Orange tagged in and hit a top-rope splash for two. Uno walked out on his team. The match broke down once again.

-1, Amanda Huber, Tay Conti, and Anna Jay walked out to talk some sense into Uno and company. -1 tossed a paper into Uno’s face and they ran back into the ring. Everyone in the Dark Order landed dives followed by 10 hitting an insane spear through the ropes to the floor. Silver brought out the most ridiculous sequence of offense you’ll ever see, taking out everyone.

10 planted Johl with a spinebuster, Orange took out Hardy with the Orange Punch, Silver and Reynolds hit their combo offense, and Uno and Grayson hit Fatality for the win.

**********

A Lio Rush promo aired. He said Tony Khan’s been calling him nonstop. He’s got a stock market speculator gimmick. “L.B.O. Lio.”

**********

FTR and Tully Blanchard cut a promo. Dax said they are revitalized, rejuvenated, and re-focused — that’s bad news for the rest of the division. “Top guys, out.”

**********

Dan Lambert was in the ring with the Men of the Year. He said he was here to pay Chris Jericho a compliment. He took this terrible company, joined it, and somehow it’s still standing. When Jericho decided to confront America’s Top Team, that was the end of his career. They’ve chopped off the head of the AEW snake, and made it more difficult for Tony Khan to peddle his snake oil. Loud “Shut the f*ck up” chants.

Scorpio Sky mentioned he was one of the first champions in AEW and won the Face of the Revolution ladder match — and it still wasn’t good enough. Lambert was paying attention, and he sees what the fans ignore: that Sky is a main eventer. Page has two black belts and has never been pinned or submitted in AEW. They’re done being overlooked. America’s Top Team and Men of the Year are *the* top team.

**********

A miraculous Hikaru Shida promo aired. She’s trying for her 50th win in AEW, and she will face Deeb. Deeb called herself the “woman of 1000 holds,” saying she’d submit Shida. They will face off at next week’s Dynamite Anniversary.

**********

Anna Jay & Tay Conti defeated Penelope Ford & The Bunny

Jay and Conti attacked before the bell and suplexed their opponents out on the floor. Conti hit repeated judo throws and tagged in Jay. They hit combination offense, but Ford and Bunny sent Conti to the floor and used the numbers advantage to isolate Jay in the ring.

Upon return, Conti got the hot tag and ran wild on Ford. She landed a nice springboard crossbody and hit an assisted suplex for two. Ford used a backbend to avoid a clothesline from Jay and hit a stunner followed by a fireman’s carry gutbuster for two. Jay rolled out of the way of a moonsault attempt as Conti hit the Tay-KO on Bunny on the floor. Jay then hit the Dangerous Jay kick followed by the Queenslayer sleeper for the win.

Jade Cargill vs. Thunder Rosa vs. Nyla Rose in a no disqualification three-way match was announced for Rampage this Friday. They each cut brief promos.

**********

MJF came out with Wardlow. He wants to make this company successful as long as he’s given what he deserves. He brought up the concept of AEW’s four original future star pillars: Jungle Boy, Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, and the most important, MJF. Without MJF, this company “ain’t sh*t.” He deserves to be AEW world champion.

He called out Tony Khan, saying he needs to start to listen to MJF’s demands. He teased bringing out Bruce Prichard, but then Darby Allin’s music played and he interrupted. MJF cut Allin off before he could speak, saying it’d be fine to just be a #2 guy. Allin’s Pippen, but MJF’s Jordan.

Allin asked if he was done talking and demanded that MJF leave if he doesn’t get what he wants. Nobody will care. “How can you be a pillar if I’m the only one who’s won a championship?”

MJF got hot and asked if the crowd knew why Allin is straight edge: because when Allin was a kid, his uncle died in a drunk driving accident with Allin in the car. MJF said that that night, the wrong man died, and demanded that Allin hit him. Allin wouldn’t budge, telling MJF to keep talking. MJF and Wardlow slinked off without a fight.

A video promo recapped Miro vs. Fuego Del Sol and hyped up Miro’s upcoming match against Sammy Guevara.

TNT Championship: Sammy Guevara defeated Miro (c) to win the title

This was a wonderful title match with a thrilling title change.

Miro avoided a running knee right at the start and countered a second before laying in stomps and strikes. Guevara got some brief offense but was immediately cut off with a back elbow. Miro used Guevara’s chain to choke him. Guevara fired up and used a high crossbody to send both men crashing to the floor. Guevara sidestepped a running attack from Miro, sending him hard into the ring steps.

Back in the ring, Guevara went for a shooting star press. Miro somehow caught it and turned it into an overhead belly-to-belly suplex ahead of a commercial. Miro was firmly in control upon return to the broadcast. He countered the jumping knee once again with a German suplex. Guevara finally started his comeback with a standing Spanish Fly.

Guevara flipped out of a German and avoided a corner splash, sending Miro to the floor. He then landed an insane running dive over the corner post to the outside. Back inside, Miro avoided a crossbody and hit a black hole slam for two. He called for Game Over, but Guevara surprised him with two rising knees. He climbed the ropes, but Miro cut him off as they jockeyed for position.

Miro was sent crashing to the mat and Guevara landed a diving uppercut. Guevara wanted the GTH, but Miro fought out and hit his signature thrust kick for a near fall. Miro was frustrated as he started ripping turnbuckles off. Fuego Del Sol ran out and got in Miro’s face. The distraction allowed Guevara to hit the rising knee, sending Miro into the exposed turnbuckle.

Guevara hit the tornado DDT aand the GTH. He then scaled the ropes and landed the 630 senton to win the match and the championship.

– Confetti fell from the rafters as Guevara celebrated with Fuego and company to end the show.

Final Thoughts —

I don’t often do a “Final Thoughts” section on these reviews as I’m just a recapper, but I wanted to highlight how excellent this show was: This was one of the best editions of Dynamite in history. There were four thrilling matches, entertaining promo segments, returns, and surprises. Above it all, Tony Khan continued his unbelievably perfect treatment of Brodie Lee’s memory with that beautiful, emotional Dark Order match. After a run of middling shows (in my humble opinion), this show has me buzzing.

AEW Dynamite Grand Slam live results: Omega vs. Danielson

Kenny Omega faces Bryan Danielson at Arthur Ashe Stadium in front of the largest crowd in AEW history tonight.

Danielson will be making his AEW in-ring debut in the non-title match against the AEW World Champion. Danielson issued the challenge to Omega on last week’s Dynamite. Omega’s manager Don Callis advised Omega not to take the bout, but Omega accepted.

Cody Rhodes returns to action on the show, facing Malakai Black.

The AEW Women’s World Championship will be on the line as Britt Baker defends against All Out Casino Battle Royale winner Ruby Soho.

Sting and Darby Allin will team against FTR’s Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood.

Brian Pillman Jr. will take on MJF.

CM Punk will do an interview ahead of his Rampage match against Team Taz’s Powerhouse Hobbs, airing Friday. The match will be Punk’s first TV bout in over seven years.

Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

**********

Kenny Omega (w/ Don Callis) vs. Bryan Danielson went to a time-limit draw

They stared off with each other for a good bit of time to open the show, just soaking in the moment. Omega powered Danielson into the ropes and “broke” the tie-up with a chop. Danielson surprised Omega with a kick to the pectoral muscle. Omega arrogantly broke another hold and was met with another mid kick for his trouble.

Omega countered Danielson’s monkey flip with a cartwheel and dropped him with a chop. Danielson bent Omega’s fingers all the way back to the mat and stomped on his exposed elbow. He laid in repeated strikes in the corner. Omega tried to turn it around, but Danielson kept up the attack. Danielson sent Omega to the floor and took him out with a great tope suicida.

Back in the ring, Danielson landed a diving knee to Omega’s outstretched arm. Omega pulled Danielson’s hair to reverse the momentum, laying in more chops. Danielson eventually fired back but was cut off with a knee to the gut. Omega hit the rolling senton portion of You Can’t Escape, but Danielson got his knees up on the moonsault attempt.

Danielson fought back with more strikes and a running forearm that took Omega down. A hurricanrana followed for two, but Omega came back with one of his own. Danielson rolled to the floor. Omega called for the Terminator dive and landed it. Danielson countered the Kotaro Crusher with a series of cradles before flipping over into Cattle Mutilation. Omega quickly got his foot on the ropes. Danielson followed it up with a busaiku knee to the ramp.

Out on the ramp, Danielson continued to lay in mid kicks, but Omega countered into a brutal snap dragon suplex on the plexiglass. He got a massive running start and nailed a V-Trigger, leading to a commercial. Upon return, Omega was still firmly in control and immediately just dumped Danielson on the ropes with a nasty buckle bomb. Omega followed it up with a missile dropkick for two.

Danielson cradled Omega for two but was taken out with a spinning heel kick and a V-Trigger. Omega perched Danielson on the top turnbuckle, but Danielson escaped and hit an avalanche back suplex. They traded strikes until Omega hit a V-Trigger. Danielson came back with a discus forearm and a Regal-Plex for a great near fall.

Omega cut Danielson off after it took too long to climb the ropes. At the 25-minute mark, Omega landed an insane avalanche dragon suplex for another excellent near fall. He hit another V-Trigger and set up for the One-Winged Angel, but Danielson turned it into a reverse hurricanrana. Danielson avoided another V-Trigger and hit a buzzsaw kick.

Danielson went for the Busaiku Knee, but Omega turned it into a powerbomb and another V-Trigger for a close near fall. Omega climbed the ropes and went for a phoenix splash, but Danielson rolled out of the way. Danielson laid in repeated kicks. Omega tried to fight back, but Danielson dropped him with another buzzsaw kick.

American Dragon laid in stomps before rolling over into the Lebell Lock. He couldn’t lock on the omoplata aspect of it and Omega reached the ropes. Omega hit a V-Trigger and they both countered big moves before a kick sent them both to the mat. They traded headbutts and then closed fist right hands. They traded more strikes and then the bell sounded, rather unceremoniously. The crowd booed loudly at the finish.

– Right at the bell, the Young Bucks and Adam Cole ran out as Danielson and Omega continued to fight. The Bucks crushed Danielson with a double superkick, but then Christian Cage and the Jurassic Express ran out to send the Elite packing.

CM Punk promo

Punk’s glad he’s not wrestling on Dynamite: “How do you follow that?” He said it’s been a long time since he’s been in New York City and an even longer time since professional wrestling has been here. The fans want the old CM Punk? “Be careful what you wish for.” He tried to come out here and mean mug, but he’s just so happy to see everyone here that he can’t help but smile.

It’s been so long since Punk’s been here that he gets pissed off, because nobody can take this from him. As for Team Taz and Powerhouse Hobbs? They should’ve put him through the table and finished the job, because it’s his job to wake them up and it’s his job to tuck them back in. “At Rampage, Powerhouse Hobbs goes to sleep.”

**********

MJF (w/ Wardlow) defeated Brian Pillman Jr.

Pillman refused a handshake and used a double leg takedown to lay in shots. He followed it up with repeated arm drags and a big back body drop. Pillman kept up the attack, out-wrestling MJF the whole way until MJF starched him with a slap. Pillman fired back with one of his own, and MJF begged off before driving Pillman’s face into the turnbuckle. Pillman came back with a sunset flip and a backslide before MJF sent him shoulder-first into the canvas ahead of the break.

Once back, MJF was still in control and taunting about Pillman’s late father. Pillman used evasive maneuvers and hit a high crossbody to buy him some time. Pillman landed repeated forearms and a thrust kick before repeatedly driving MJF’s face into the turnbuckle. He then hit a snap powerslam for two.

Pillman looked to hit a dive, but MJF pulled Julia Hart into the way and used the distraction to hit a clothesline. MJF and Hart exchanced words, but that distraction allowed Pillman to hit a diving dropkick. Pillman went for a springboard upon re-entry to the ring, but MJF caught it and turned it into the Salt of the Earth, forcing Pillman to submit.

**********

Chris Jericho and Jake Hager were asked about Dan Lambert and the Men of the Year. Hager said “Men of the Year? More like Boys of the Week.” Jericho challenged Lambert to bring America’s Top Team to Rampage.

**********

Malakai Black defeated Cody Rhodes (w/ Brandi Rhodes & Arn Anderson)

Both men wrestled to a stalemate at the start. Cody took Black down with a right hand, but Black surprised him with a leg sweep. Cody rolled to the floor and Black feinted on a dive before backflipping into his cross-legged sitting. Brandi entered the ring and flipped off Cody; the distraction was enough to allow Cody to attack. Black quickly turned it into a modified octopus hold and a cradle for two.

Cody sent Black to the ramp and hit a Disaster Kick. He went for a springboard, but Black countered with a jumping knee ahead of the commercial. Once back, we had a cradle exchange and then Black immediately hit the spinning heel kick. Cody fell limp to the floor, and Black couldn’t even drag him back into the ring. Eventually Black got Cody into the ring, but Cody got his leg on the ropes during the cover.

Black went for a running attack, but Cody used misdirection and hit a chop block. He then hit a dragon screw across the ropes. Back in the ring, Black surprised Cody with a back elbow and a lifting kick. Black countered Cross Rhodes and just tossed Cody to counter some running offense.

Cody caught a kick and went for Cross Rhodes again. Black escaped, but Cody then hit the Cody Cutter and Cross Rhodes for a great near fall. Arn got on the apron but slipped off. Black whipped Cody into Arn, forcing Cody to go and check on him. Arn implored Cody to get back in the ring, and Cody obliged.

Back in the ring, Cody laid in corner strikes. He wouldn’t break at the referee’s request and eventually shoved the official out of the way. Black used the distraction to spray mist from his mouth and roll Cody up for the win.

**********

Sammy Guevara called out Miro for attacking a defenseless man. Miro called him a fool. Next week, they will face off for the TNT Championship. When Guevara wins, he’s buying Fuego Del Sol a new car.

Sting & Darby Allin defeated FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (w/ Tully Blanchard)

Allin started off, but FTR wanted Sting in the match. Sting overpowered Cash right away, but brief interference from Dax allowed FTR to take control. Sting fought back with right hands and body slams on both opponents. He went for the Stinger Splash, but Dax pulled Cash out of the way and they overwhelmed Sting with the two-on-one advantage.

A gut punch from Sting allowed Allin to tag in and take out both of FTR with a Coffin Drop. He went for another out on the floor, but FTR caught him and tossed him into the edge of the ring ahead of a break. Once back, Allin used evasive maneuvers to escape the beatdown and reach Sting for the hot tag.

Sting dispatched Cash and hit a spinebuster on Dax for two. FTR wanted the spike piledriver on Allin, but Sting sent Cash packing and landed a diving crossbody on Dax. Dax rolled up Sting for a good near fall. He went for a Tombstone Piledriver, but Sting reversed it into Scorpion Death Drop position. Allin looked for a Coffin Drop, but Cash cut it off. Sting landed Stinger Splashes on both opponents and a Scorpion Death Drop on Cash. Dax and Tully tried to bait him into splashing a chair, but Sting had it scouted and locked on the Scorpion Deathlock.

Cash tried to pull his partner to the ropes, but Allin cut him off with a Coffin Drop and Sting pulled Dax into the center of the ring for the submission.

AEW Women’s World Championship: Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (c) (w/ Rebel & Jamie Hayter) defeated Ruby Soho

They had a long collar-and-elbow tie-up at the bell. After a technical exchange, Soho landed a rising kick, leading to Baker recovering on the floor. Soho climbed the ropes and landed a crossbody on Rebel and Hayter but was caught by a thrust kick and a hangman’s neckbreaker on the floor ahead of the break.

Upon return, Soho used a headscissors to send Baker face-first into the turnbuckle. She landed repeated running kicks and went for a leg sweep, but Baker countered it into a forearm smash. Soho came back with a backdrop and thrust kick, but Baker cut her off with a superkick, leading to the double down.

We got a slugfest as they traded strikes. Soho got the advantage with headbutts, but Baker swept Soho’s leg and went for the Lockjaw. Soho escaped, but Baker kept up the momentum with a sling blade. Rebel passed Baker the glove.

Soho countered the curb stomp and applied a single-leg Boston crab. She catapulted Baker into the turnbuckle and hit a step-up enziguiri before a top-rope senton got a good near fall. Baker came back with a neckbreaker and a thrust kick for two. She thought about the Pittsburgh Sunrise, but Soho popped up and tried to suplex Baker to the floor.

They fought on the top rope, where Baker hit a nasty avalanche air raid crash for a near fall. Baker stomped Soho’s face on the steps and hit the curb stomp for yet another near fall. She argued with the official’s count, and Soho rolled her up for a near fall. Soho hit the No Future on Baker and Rebel, but the distraction allowed Hayter to attack and then Baker to take advantage with the Lockjaw to retain.

AEW Dynamite live results: Adam Cole’s AEW in-ring debut

Adam Cole will make his in-ring debut for AEW on tonight’s Dynamite.

Cole will take on “The Elite Hunter” Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian has had his sights set on The Elite since The Young Bucks defeated Kazarian and Christopher Daniels on the May 12 Dynamite, forcing SCU to refrain from teaming together ever again.

CM Punk has been announced a s a special guest commentator for Dynamite. After defeating Darby Allin at the All Out pay-per-view, Punk has seemingly moved on to a feud with Team Taz.

Bryan Danielson will address AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. On last week’s Dynamite, Danielson confronted Omega and The Elite, but the group left their stooge Brandon Cutler to take a Busaiku knee from Danielson.

Darby Allin will face Shawn Spears. Sting will be in Allin’s corner, while Tully Blanchard will corner Spears. Blanchard began teasing some kind of match against Sting on last week’s Dynamite.

Minoru Suzuki had his entrance music cut short on last week’s Dynamite. This week, Suzuki and Lance Archer will address the matter and issue a challenge to Jon Moxley. For his part, Moxley will team with Eddie Kingston against 2point0.

Dan Lambert and Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page) will issue an open challenge tonight. In the women’s division, Jade Cargill will face Leyla Hirsch.

Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Show Report —

CM Punk made his entrance to join the broadcast booth as tonight’s special guest commentator.

Adam Cole defeated Frankie Kazarian

They wrestled around with a technical exchange at the start. Kazarian had a brief advantage, but Cole was able to suplex him over the ropes onto the apron. Cole then drove Kazarian into the side of the ring. Back in, Cole took Kazarian down with a boot and slapped on a rear chinlock.

Kazarian fought back and hit some chops. He rolled up Cole for two before going for a modified calf slicer. Cole fired back and caught Kazarian with a ushigoroshi for two. He fired up the band, but Kazarian caught the superkick attempt and bridged a German suplex for two.

Cole caught Kazarian out of nowhere with a superkick. He climbed the ropes and went for Panama Sunrise, but Kazarian turned it into an Alabama slam and followed it up with a springboard leg drop for two.

They traded forearms. The crowd was well behind Cole. Kazarian nailed a rebound lariat, but Cole hit another ushigoroshi for a near fall. Cole then hit the Panama Sunrise followed by the exposed knee strike to the back of Kazarian’s head (the former Last Shot) for the win.

– After the match, Cole invited the crowd for “Story Time with Adam Cole.” He said that hope is a dangerous thing, and that the locker room hopes they can keep up with the Elite — but that’s not going to happen. The three guys who have gotten under his skin since arriving are Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Jungle Boy. He challenged them to take on Cole and the Young Bucks in a six-man tag. “The SuperKliq is back, baybay, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.”

MJF Promo

He came out flanked by Wardlow. He insulted New Jersey a lot. He’s been made aware that his words from last week may have offended some people, and he doesn’t care. MJF’s the salt of the Earth and a religious man, so he’s going to have a conversation with the late, great Brian Pillman.

MJF addressed Pillman as if he were in hell. He said Pillman was a legend, but his son is the lame excuse for a legendary pedigree. “Tell your son that I’m going to massacre him.” The fans can chant all they want, but “I’m better than you, and you…”

Brian Pillman Jr.’s music played. MJF directed Wardlow to run interference on the ramp, but Pillman had it scouted and ran in from behind with a chair. Wardlow ran in and took the chair from Pillman. Pillman starched Wardlow and baited him to the outside, re-gaining possession of the chair and chasing the two heels off.

**********

Brian Pillman Jr. had a sit-down interview with Jim Ross. J.R. brought up his history with Pillman’s father, saying last week was embarrassing. “We need to see MJF get his ass whipped.” Does Pillman have what it takes?

Pillman has worked hard to live up to his father’s legacy. While MJF was living in luxury, Pillman was fighting for his life. “You have never been in the ring with somebody like me.” His upbringing was feral, and at Arther Ashe Stadium, MJF is stepping in the ring with a Pillman.

**********

Christian Cage and the Jurassic Express were backstage. Jungle Boy addressed Adam Cole and said he had better friends and better hair. Christian slightly disagreed, saying the Bucks are good enough friends to save Cole from developmental. Since they’re used to losing Wednesday night wars, let’s add Friday to the list. Jungle Boy accepted the challenge, and Luchasaurus growled.

Ahead of this match, it was announced that next week’s Grand Slam special of AEW Rampage will be two hours.

FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (w/ Tully Blanchard) defeated Dante Martin & Matt Sydal

Martin and Sydal out-wrestled FTR at the start with their speed and quickness. Martin went to the apron and went for a springboard, but Cash, the illegal man, kicked him to the floor. Cash chopped Martin hard on the outside and sent him into the ring post.

FTR isolated Martin in their corner until Martin used his evasiveness to reach Sydal for the tag. Sydal fought off FTR with leaping kicks and strikes. He feinted on a dive before landing assisted combo dive with Martin on both of FTR. FTR regained control during a commercial break.

Once back, Martin accomplished a blind tag, dropkicking both of FTR for his entry into the ring. A tijeras took out Cash followed by a running senton on Dax. Martin and Cash exchanged cradles until Dax tagged in and a sunset flip cradle from Martin got a good near fall.

Dax baited Martin into an attack from Cash. He tried to fight both men off but eventually ran right into the Big Rig for the pin.

**********

Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer addressed “The Suzuki Incident,” where AEW cut off Suzuki’s theme song before the climax. Archer said Jon Moxley had an unfair hometown advantage. They will take on Moxley and Kingston next week in New York City. “Suzuki-gun, ichiban!”

**********

The lights went out in the building, leading to Malakai Black’s entrance. He started his promo with “Members of the House of Black, please rise.” He said we have an enemy in our midst.

The camera cut to actress Rosario Dawson at ringside, who was wearing some Cody Rhodes merch. She stepped into the ring, and it looked like Black was about to attack her, but Cody made his return. Dawson hopped on Black’s back to attack as Cody ran out, leading to a big brawl up into the stands. They will wrestle next week at Grand Slam.

**********

A video promo hyped Anna Jay vs. The Bunny on Rampage.

Jay was flanked by the Dark Order for an interview backstage. Evil Uno immediately interrupted her, then Alex Reynolds interrupted the segment. Jay shut everyone up, noting that if they can’t keep it together, she doesn’t want them out there.

**********

Dan Lambert, America’s Top Team, & Chris Jericho promo

Dan Lambert was in the ring with the Men of the Year and America’s Top Team, including Junior Dos Santos and Andrei Arlovski as usual. He insulted the fans, calling the men small and the women extra large. He mocked the flippy style.

Chris Jericho made his entrance flanked by Jake Hager. Lambert was livid as the crowd continued to sing “Judas” even as the music was cut off. Jericho called him a “fat-faced dipsh*t.”

Lambert called Jericho a manipulator, getting the fans to spend all their money on Jericho’s merch. Jericho asked of America’s Top Team: “Which one of you guys is on top?” He brought up the fact that he’s fought MMA fighters before. “Everybody’s got a plan until they get punched in the face.”

Jericho and Hager were about to head to the ring, but Lambert said this match had to happen in a real city. Jericho and Hager will take on the Men of the Year next week.

**********

The Gunn Club talked about why they attacked Paul Wight. They’re all undefeated in tag matches, but they haven’t gotten any respect.

**********

Jade Cargill (w/ Mark Sterling) defeated Leyla Hirsch

Sterling got involved early on. Hirsch took out Cargill’s legs and hit running knees in the corner, but she only got a one count. Hirsch went for the cross armbreaker, but Cargill easily powered out with a powerbomb leading into the break.

Upon return, Hirsch hopped on Cargill’s back and locked on a sleeper. Cargill hip tossed Hirsch out of it, but Hirsch came back with a ripcord German for two. She followed it up with a tope suicida and a bicycle knee for two.

Hirsch climbed the ropes, but Cargill rolled out of the way of a moonsault and crushed her with a pump kick. Cargill then hit Jaded for the win.

**********

An Andrade El Idolo video promo aired. He demanded that his assistant explain his actions from Rampage. Chavo may have given him the directions, but Andrade is the boss.

**********

Taz, followed by HOOK, walked out to commentary. He got in Punk’s face about “taking his job.” Punk dropped the headset and faced off with HOOK. Powerhouse Hobbs laid Punk out from behind. Punk fought back, but HOOK locked on a dragon sleeper and they cleared off the announce table. Hobbs chokeslammed Punk onto the table, which didn’t break.

**********

Shawn Spears addressed Darby Allin. He’s the man who gave Allin his first loss. “The Chairman cometh.”

Darby Allin (w/ Sting) defeated Shawn Spears (w/ Tully Blanchard)

Spears dropped Allin over the ropes right away and beat him down on the floor. He attacked using the ring steps, repeatedly kneeing his head into the steps. Spears flipped off Sting, but the hesitation was enough of a delay to allow Allin to avoid a knee strike as Spears kneed the steps. Allin wanted a tope suicida, but Tully got in the way, allowing Spears to pull Allin to the floor.

On the outside, Spears wetted a cloth and used it to wipe away Allin’s face paint ahead of the commercial. Once back, Spears had Allin trapped in a Scorpion Deathlock, mocking Sting. Allin reached the ropes to force a break and took out Spears with a basement dropkick and a Code Red for a near fall.

They fought on the top rope. Spears pulled Allin down by the chain around his neck. He went for the C4 onto the ring steps, but Allin countered it with a stunner before taking out Spears with an awesome suicide dive. The Coffin Drop followed for the win.

– After the match, FTR came out and faced off with Allin and Sting. They brawled, and Tully whacked Sting with a chair. Sting got in Tully’s face but was overwhelmed by the numbers advantage. FTR hit a nasty-looking spike piledriver on Sting before Tully wiped off his face paint.

**********

A Bryan Danielson video promo aired. He called the Elite “insecure,” noting that he’s only going after one member: Kenny Omega. He knows how great Omega can be, but he’s just excited to get into the ring and wrestle. In AEW, everybody wants to prove themselves. “I’m here, and I’m game.”

**********

Bryan Danielson & Kenny Omega promo

Schiavone brought him out. “The American Dragon is back, and he is in AEW!” He asked Danielson about a potential match with Kenny Omega. Danielson asked what the crowd thought, but Omega and Don Callis interrupted.

Callis called Danielson “sickening.” He mocked Danielson’s statements about how hard of a decision his move to AEW was. If Danielson really made this decision for the good of the wrestling industry, he’s “just a mark.”

Danielson told him to shut up, because he’s here to talk to Omega. “Someday, this will be about the title, but right now, it’s just about who’s better.” He challenged Omega, but Callis said “no way.” Danielson told him to shut up once again. He came to AEW to fight the Best Bout Machine, but since he’s been here, all he’s seen is a guy who hangs out with a bunch of goofy stooges and lets Callis speak for him. He doesn’t believe the rumors that Omega’s lost a step; he just thinks Omega’s lost his balls.

Omega’s answer is “yes.” Callis was unhappy.

**********

Miro addressed Fuego Del Sol. He couldn’t believe Fuego was calling him out. Fuego’s putting his throat on a blade that already spared him. “I am gonna bash your brain, and then I’m gonna bash your car. This is the word of the Redeemer.”

Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston defeated 2point0 (Matt Lee & Jeff Parker) (w/ Daniel Garcia)

2point0 and Garcia attacked Moxley and Kingston before the bell. They all brawled at ringside until Parker and Moxley entered the ring. Moxley dropped Parker right away and hit a release suplex. Lee tagged in but was immediately taken out with a back suplex. Moxley bit at his face. A Garcia distraction allowed 2point0 to hit a combination suplex on Moxley ahead of the break.

Kingston got the hot tag and leveled both of 2point0 with right hands. He hit machine gun chops in the corner followed by an exploder. A Garcia distraction allowed Parker to roll Kingston up for a quick two, but Kingston immediately hit the spinning backfist and tagged in Moxley. They hit their combination lariat and half-and-half suplex for the decisive win.

– After the match, Minoru Suzuki made his entrance again, this time getting the full “Kaze ni nare!” He had a nasty bruised eye. Lance Archer came out from behind and pulled Kingston into the crowd, and the two pairings brawled all over. Suzuki went for the Gotch piledriver on the timekeeper’s table, but Moxley used the microphone to fight his way out of it. They continued to brawl as the show ended.

AEW Dynamite live results: All Out fallout, Moxley vs. Suzuki

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite will feature fallout from Sunday’s All Out pay-per-view.

Jon Moxley’s homecoming match against Minoru Suzuki has been announced for the show. Moxley defeated NJPW’s Satoshi Kojima at All Out, then was confronted by Suzuki. Suzuki laid Moxley out with his Gotch-style piledriver finisher. Tonight, Moxley gets his chance for revenge in his hometown of Cincinnati.

Moxley and Suzuki last squared off at NJPW’s The New Beginning in Osaka in February 2020, an IWGP United States Championship match won by Moxley.

After debuting as the joker in the women’s Casino Battle Royale at All Out, Ruby Soho will make her Dynamite debut against Jamie Hayter.

Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole will also appear following their debuts at All Out. Plus, we’ll hear from CM Punk after his in-ring return against Darby Allin.

Malakai Black will be in action against Dustin Rhodes. This match was set up on Rampage as Black defeated, then further attacked Nightmare Family member Lee Johnson. Rhodes then ran in for the save.

Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Dante Martin and The Pinnacle’s FTR & Shawn Spears vs. Dark Order’s Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & John Silver are also set for tonight. Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Show Report —

Excalibur was absent from commentary due to his upcoming wedding. He was replaced by Taz.

The show began with a recap of all the biggest moments from All Out, including the debuts of Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole.

Malakai Black defeated Dustin Rhodes

This was a hot opener. Black continues to impress, and Dustin is reliable as ever.

They went right after each other at the bell. Dustin landed a couple quick clotheslines and an atomic drop. He followed it up with a German suplex out of the corner. Dustin kept up the attack on the floor and thought about a destroyer, but Black fought out and back suplexed Dustin through the timekeeper’s table.

Black continued to dominate. We got a nice loud dueling chant for both men. A knee lift to the gut from Black got two. Black then applied a choke before transitioning into a heel hook, forcing Dustin to fight to reach the ropes. Dustin tried to fight back with right hands, but Black easily kicked out his leg.

Dustin collapsed on a hammer throw attempt, selling the leg. “Are you not entertained?” from Black. Eventually, Dustin came back with shoulder tackles and the snap powerslam for two. Dustin cradled Black for two. He landed corner punches until Black kicked out his leg yet again. A running knee from Black got a near fall.

Black moved to the floor and pulled Cody’s boot out from underneath. He brought the boot into the ring and taunted Dustin with it. Dustin fired up and hit the drop-down right hand followed by a Canadian destroyer for a good near fall. “You still got it!” chant for Dustin.

Dustin went for the running bulldog, but Black countered it and sent him into an exposed turnbuckle. The spinning heel kick followed to finish it.

– After the match, Dustin’s mouth was bleeding profusely.

**********

A Lucha Bros video promo aired. Their championships cost them blood, sweat, and tears, so anyone who wants them is welcome to try and take them. “Cero miedo.”

**********

Eddie Kingston cut a promo. He called Miro out for using a low blow at All Out. Miro came back by saying he’d offer Kingston’s broken bones to his wife, and his soul to God.

**********

CM Punk speaks

Punk thanked Darby Allin, Sting, and all the fans. Wrestling is like “riding a violent bicycle,” and he’s back. Loud “You still got it!” chant. Punk hyped up Minoru Suzuki’s appearance later on in the show, leading to a big “Moxley” chant. He addressed Aunt Linda, the woman who raised Brian Pillman, in the front row, before listing all the big surprises from All Out.

The first person Punk texted after his match was his wife April. She asked him “what’s next,” so Punk decided to leave it up to the crowd.

On commentary, Taz had enough and he grabbed a mic. He’s known Punk a long time, and he’s tired of this BS love-fest he’s got going on. He told Punk to never mention any members of Team Taz he wants to face.

Powerhouse Hobbs and HOOK emerged. Punk challenged Taz to send him any member of Team Taz, telling them to beat him if they can, or survive if he lets them.

**********

Santana & Ortiz said that their feud with FTR sparked something within them. Now, they’re turning their attention to the rest of the tag team division.

**********

Ruby Soho was asked about her open challenge. She said she didn’t want people to think she just got lucky at the Casino Battle Royale.

Britt Baker and co. walked up, saying Soho’s just the flavor of the month. Soho came back saying she was one of the people who helped break Baker into the business. She thinks Baker’s got all these nicknames as a defense against letting people see who she really is.

Baker told Soho to run away to catering, just like the last few years. Soho told Schiavone “I know she’s your girl, but I’m going to whoop her ass.”

**********

Powerhouse Hobbs (w/ HOOK) defeated Dante Martin

Dante immediately went to the skies, but Hobbs caught a springboard. Dante used evasive maneuvers and hit a dropkick that sent Hobbs to the floor. He tried to follow it up with a tope, but Hobbs caught him and sent him hard into the ring post. He followed it up by sending Dante repeatedly into the barricade ahead of a commercial.

Once back, Hobbs was in complete control as he pummelled Dante on the mat. Dante came back with a shotgun dropkick and a running senton for two. Hobbs rolled to the floor. Dante looked to hit a tope, but HOOK hopped up on the apron to block it. Dante decided to hit a tope con giro instead over the top of HOOK’s head onto Hobbs out on the floor.

Dante kind of hit a gamenguiri, but then Hobbs avoided a springboard. Dante hit a running kick before Hobbs turned the running offense into a spinebuster for the win. Hobbs was definitely knocked loopy at the end there, leading to some miscommunication.

**********

Dan Lambert appeared in the stands, flanked by the Men of the Year. He congratulated AEW for bringing in all this new talent, but it’s all to avoid the truth, which is that this company has only two real men wrestling for it: Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. Together, they will scream their truths, so if there are any tough guys who would like to shut them up, they better do so soon.

**********

Matt Hardy promised to shave Orange Cassidy’s hair. Orange came back with “Whatever.”

**********

MJF promo

He came out flanked by Wardlow. MJF explained that he beat Chris Jericho three times before Sunday, and then he beat him a fourth time, but after the bell, the match was restarted due to extreme bias against him. This bias comes from the fact that everyone wants to be him.

MJF insulted Cincinnati and brought up “cheap heat.” Ugh. It’s called the “midwest” because everything within it is “mid,” including skyline chili and the Reds. He dared people to jump the guardrail, but they won’t, because they’re all cowards.

He turned his attention to Aunt Linda, who raised Brian Pillman, in the front row. She was with Pillman’s daughter, who MJF also insulted.

Brian Pillman Jr.’s music played, and he came out in a Bengals jersey. He called him “Maxwell Jerkoff Friedman.” Pillman knows MJF had a silver spoon upbringing, but Cincinnati breeds badasses like Pillman and Jon Moxley. MJF may be from Long Island, but Pillman is from the streets of Cincinnati. “Welcome to the jungle.”

MJF brought up Pillman’s “drug-addicted mother,” and Pillman got hot, but Wardlow stood in between them. MJF suggested that Pillman’s mother should have “swallowed.” He told Wardlow to go stand in the corner and look pretty. He was about to say he was going to “abort” Pillman, so Pillman attacked and beat him down.

Wardlow intervened, but Pillman escaped briefly to continue the attack. Wardlow gave chase again and killed Pillman with a German. Griff Garrison ran out but was immediately crushed by Wardlow, who propped him up and allowed MJF to strike him with the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

**********

Jon Moxley addressed Minoru Suzuki, saying he’s in the jungle tonight. “You gonna die.”

**********

Ruby Soho defeated Jamie Hayter (w/ Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.)

Hayter used her power advantage at the start. Soho caught a pump kick and returned with a kick of her own, but Hayter sent Soho into the ropes and to the floor ahead of the break. Upon return, Soho used a headscissors to send Hayter face first into the turnbuckle. She followed it up with running kicks and a modified DDT for two.

Some kind of facebuster from Soho got two. Hayter overpowered Soho and hit a sliding lariat for two. Soho hit the wind-up kick (the former Riot Kick) out of nowhere for the win.

– After the match, Baker and Rebel immediately attacked. Riho ran out to make the save but was immediately taken out. Kris Statlander came out with a chair to chase off the heels.

**********

Brian Cage and Ricky Starks cut a dueling promo. Starks is tired of this. Cage wants a one-on-one match.

**********

Earlier today, the Dark Order were asked about their problems. Uno said they were fine, but Angels got hot. Anna Jay walked up and told everyone to act like a team.

The Pinnacle (Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, & Shawn Spears) (w/ Tully Blanchard & Wardlow) defeated Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, & John Silver)

Silver immediately blind tagged himself in. Spears knocked him down with a shoulder tackle, so Silver returned fire with a body slam. He pulled Spears into the corner for a tag, but hesitated before bringing in Grayson. Grayson was forced into the Pinnacle’s corner before he took out Spears with a backflip kick. Grayson and Uno hit a combination elbow drop slam for two.

A jawbreaker from Spears allowed him to tag in Dax. Dax went for repeated covers but only got two. Silver fired up with a suplex, but Spears and Cash knocked off his Dark Order partners, preventing a tag. Silver fought off all three Pinnacle members and hit a running kick followed by a German suplex for two.

However, the three-on-one disadvantage for Silver was too much, and the Pinnacle hit a modified C4 on Silver for the quick win. Grayson was late coming in to break up the pin, leading to more miscommunication.

– After the match, Uno got in Silver’s face. Silver had enough and took out Uno. Grayson and Angels were hot as 10 and Cabana tried to cool everyone off.

**********

We got a series of quick promos from women in the Casino Battle Royale: Anna Jay, Jade Cargill, Nyla Rose, and Thunder Rosa.

**********

Tully Blanchard was backstage. He said everyone just saw an example of leadership out in the ring. He wants Tony Khan to book Darby Allin vs. Shawn Spears next week, and at some point it will be Tully vs. Sting, one more time.

**********

The Varsity Blonds were interviewed about their brawl earlier tonight. Pillman decided to challenge MJF to a match, which will happen in two weeks. The Acclaimed walked up, and Caster revealed he has a match with Pillman for this Friday’s Rampage.

The Elite & Bryan Danielson promo

The entire Elite, sans Adam Cole, came out. Callis brought up that Kenny Omega won the top spot in the PWI 500. All Out was all about The Elite. Nick brought out Adam Cole, who made his entrance.

Cole started off by looking Schiavone straight in the eyes. “If you even look at [Britt] the wrong way, I will slap those glasses off your face and whoop your ass.” He told that “nerd” Schiavone to get out of the ring.

He called AEW the greatest professional wrestling company in the entire world, and it’s thanks to The Elite. Cole may be new to AEW, but he’s been in the Elite for a very long time. He is a once-in-a-generation professional wrestler, and he’s with the very best. The fans should be thanking them, because now, The Elite is complete.

Next week, Cole will make his in-ring debut. Everyone will all see how elite he really is. Omega said that sounds like a cause for celebration, but he hates interruptions. So, of course, Bryan Danielson interrupted.

Omega cut Danielson off before he could start. He sent away the rest of The Elite and invited Danielson into the ring. Danielson snatched the microphone away and asked the fans if they wanted to see Bryan Danielson fight Kenny Omega. He said Omega talks about being the best wrestler in the world, but he’s afraid of Danielson. Omega isn’t on his level.

Danielson stopped an attack and locked on the Lebell Lock. The Elite all attacked, but then Christian Cage, Frankie Kazarian, and the Jurassic Express came out to make the save. Luchasaurus pressed Stunt onto the pile and Jungle Boy hit a huge dive.

They all cornered Brandon Cutler in the ring, who fell victim to Danielson’s running knee. Danielson posed to end the segment.

They cut off Suzuki’s entrance before they could get to the “Kaze Ni Nare”!

Jon Moxley defeated Minoru Suzuki

This was good, and Suzuki’s bloodied eye was a great visual, but this wasn’t anywhere close to their match from last year. It only went about eight minutes.

They immediately traded forearms and boots. Suzuki laid in a strike combination, and Moxley came back with elbow smashes ahead of a commercial. During the break, Suzuki used leverage within the ropes to gain control.

Once back, Suzuki was still in control. Moxley caught a soccer kick and bit at Suzuki’s face. Suzuki returned the favor. They traded headbutts, leading to a double down. They traded forearms once more. Suzuki ducked under a lariat and locked on the rear naked choke. He transitioned to the piledriver position, but Moxley fought out and hit the Paradigm Shift.

Suzuki was busted open badly over his eye and managed to kick out at one. He shrugged off repeated lariats before cutting Moxley off with a running dropkick. Suzuki locked on the sleeper, but Moxley escaped and hit a series of punches. A high angle Paradigm Shift followed for the win.

– Moxley celebrated in the stands in his hometown to end the show.

**********

Santana & Ortiz defeated FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (w/ Tully Blanchard)

This was slightly disappointing. By my estimation, these two teams still haven’t come close to their potential greatness against each other.

FTR were in Bobby Eaton tribute gear while Santana & Ortiz came out in face paint. Dax and Santana started off. They performed chain wrestling before trading big chops in the center of the ring. It quickly broke down into a free-for-all, where Santana and Ortiz clotheslined their opponents to the floor before following it up with double topes.

They whipped FTR into the barricade, where Santana hit a cannonball senton off Ortiz’s back. Ortiz maintained control back in the ring until Cash got a blind tag, allowing him to surprise Ortiz by repeatedly sending him shoulder-first into the post. FTR continued to beat down Ortiz with frequent tags and double teams.

Cash ripped the turnbuckle pad off the corner while the official was distracted. FTR tried to use that as a weapon, but Santana stopped them before Ortiz made a comeback with a dropkick. Cash cut him off, but Ortiz quickly recovered with a lariat, allowing him to reach Santana for the hot tag.

Santana made a one-man comeback against both of FTR. He hit the Three Amigos suplexes on Dax before the frog splash followed for two. Santana and Ortiz hit a double team wheelbarrow cutter and a German suplex, but Cash broke up the pin. Ortiz rolled up Dax, but Dax kicked out, sending Ortiz into a right hand from Cash.

Dax hit the spike brainbuster, which finished their first match, for a good near fall. FTR went for a combo brainbuster, but Santana speared Dax out of the way, allowing Ortiz to reach Santana. They hit an inside-out suplex for two. Santana and Ortiz went for the Street Sweeper, but Dax broke it up and Cash hit a Gory Special facebuster for two.

There was some miscommunication until Dax hit a superplex followed by the Big Rig. Santana broke up the pin with a dive in a good near fall. Santana hit a rolling cutter, Ortiz hit a lungblower, Santana hit a thrust kick, and they hit another double team inside-out suplex for the win.

**********

Daniel Garcia was flanked by 2point0. The tag team hyped up their “son,” Garcia before the latter said he’d twist Darby Allin’s body and hurt him in ways he couldn’t imagine.

**********

CM Punk promo

Punk said he was happy to be here. He’s going to soak up all the love while he can, because this Sunday, it could all end. “You still got it!” chant.

Daniel Garcia and 2point0 interrupted and attacked. Punk briefly fought them off but was overwhelmed until Darby Allin and Sting came out to even the odds. They all hit their finishers, including a GTS from Punk.

Punk and Allin faced off in the center of the ring. Sting was about to speak, but Punk removed one of the 2point0 members to give him the floor. Sting said he’s always wanted to share a ring with Punk, but their paths never crossed. It felt good to see a Go To Sleep right before his eyes. All three men want this Punk vs. Allin match to happen.

Sting said he knows both men are ready. When they collide, it’s gonna be showtime.

Excalibur clarified that Sting won’t be at ringside for the match at All Out.

**********

A Kenny Omega vs. Christian Cage video package played. All the broadcast talent offered their thoughts. Paul Wight closed by saying All Out might be the worst night of Omega’s life.

**********

MJF sit-down interview

Schiavone called MJF the most “disgusting and despicable” individual he’s ever met. MJF brought up all of Chris Jericho’s nicknames: four decades on top of professional wrestling. He said Jericho will be forever etched in the Mount Rushmore of wrestling, but when it’s all said and done, MJF will take his place.

Jericho’s got big shoes to fill, but like Muhammad Ali coming back for one too many fights, Jericho’s on a downwards spiral. Just like Ali, Jericho’s an addict; he needs the spotlight. That’s why Jericho put his career on the line. At All Out, MJF will end one of the greatest runs in professional wrestling. It’s poetic that the same yearning that brought Jericho to the dance will be the reason the music dies.

**********

Orange Cassidy defeated Jack Evans (w/ Matt Hardy)

Hardy jumped Orange before the bell and was immediately ejected. Evans hit a cyclone kick right away before keeping up the fight with some acrobatics and springboards. Orange avoided a corner elbow and hit a flying DDT for two. Evans avoided the Orange Punch but was taken out with a tope suicida.

Back in the ring, Orange hit a diving crossbody and a Michinoku Driver for two. Orange hit his weak kicks before we got about 15 standing switches. They eventually broke and Orange climbed the ropes, but Evans cut him off and they battled up top as we went to a commercial.

The match somehow ended during commercial break with a small package from Orange.

– Hardy attacked after the match. Chuck Taylor and Wheeler YUTA came out to make the save, but the rest of Hardy Family Offices overwhelmed the Best Friends with a numbers advantage. Jurassic Express ran out to send H.F.O. packing.

**********

Eddie Kingston addressed Miro’s status as God’s favorite champion. Miro came back by saying the Mad King will realize that redemption only comes after agony. “This is the word of the redeemer.”

A Jon Moxley vs. Satoshi Kojima video promo played.

Chris Jericho in-ring interview

Jim Ross sounded like he was about to cry introducing Jericho. “Welcome to Chicago is Jericho!”

Jericho said he started his main event journey in this business 22 years ago in Chicago. JR was the one who recruited him to start that journey. JR asked why Jericho chose such an extreme stipulation for his match with MJF. Jericho started out with this: “MJF? You are a piece of sh*t.” However, he’s diabolical and arrogant like Jericho, and all MJF has over Jericho are three victories.

The reason Jericho’s in AEW is that he can never be complacent. There was never a guarantee they’d succeed, but here they are, on Episode 100, as the hottest wrestling company in the world today. Jericho could stick around for a lot longer, but every time he’d look in the mirror, he’d think “You couldn’t beat MJF.”

But you know what? Jericho doesn’t want it to be the end. He wants more. He doesn’t want it to stop, and that’s why he has to take the chance. If something goes wrong on Sunday, and his journey ends right where he began it in Chicago, so be it. He will move to the commentary desk and he will thank everyone for their support.

Jericho said MJF would not take this away from him. If MJF wants to take Jericho out, he’s going to have to be the best he’s ever been. That’s not going to happen, because he’s Chris Jericho. MJF doesn’t have what it takes to get rid of him. “I’ll see you on Sunday at All Out, you little prick.”

**********

Darby Allin addressed CM Punk. Punk was his favorite wrestler as a kid, but Punk’s already overlooking him. He’s going to beat Punk in Chicago, or die trying.

**********

Taz joined commentary for this match.

Powerhouse Hobbs (w/ HOOK) defeated Brian Cage

Cage attacked during Hobbs’ entrance, sending him hard into the barricade. The match finally got started, and Hobbs powdered to the floor. A distraction from HOOK allowed Hobbs to cut Cage off with an elbow drop upon re-entry to the ring. Cage got some breathing room, but Hobbs took him out with a lariat ahead of a break.

Once back, Hobbs mocked Cage, who came back with a flatliner. Cage hit a flurry of strikes and an exploder suplex for two. Both men traded finisher attempts until Hobbs hit a big spinebuster for two. Cage came back with a rising knee and an F-5 followed by an outside-in vertical suplex.

HOOK hopped on the apron and distracted the official as Ricky Starks ran out and hit Cage with the FTW Championship. Hobbs then hit the Oklahoma Stampede for the win.

Malakai Black has given Lee Johnson seven days to atone for his involvement at the end of last week’s Dynamite.

QT Marshall and the Factory were in the ring. QT called out Paul Wight.

Wight came out and was taken out by the Factory until he exploded out of the corner, sending everyone flying. He hit a chokeslam on one of the jobbers and swatted Aaron Solow out of the air. The Gunn Club came out to even the odds.

As it looked like the segment was about to end, Billy Gunn struck Wight with a chair. He and his sons stood over Wight as QT looked on, stunned. The Factory members re-entered the ring, allowing QT to hit an assisted Diamond Cutter on Wight.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. announcement

Baker announced that Rebel and Jamie Hayter would be in the Casino Battle Royale at All Out. She will defend against one of them when they eventually win. She was about to announce some “free agent” news, but that news was just that Baker’s going to be around a lot. As part of contract negotiations, Baker asked that Kris Statlander be part of a handicap match on Rampage this week.

Tay Conti defeated Penelope Ford (w/ The Bunny)

Conti hit an apron crossbody on both women before the bell. She hit repeated judo throws on Ford once the bell rang and turned a backbreaker into a roll-up for two. A pump kick from Conti got two more. She sprung to the top rope, but Ford pushed the ropes, sending Conti to the mat ahead of commercial.

Once back, Ford hit a handspring spear, but Conti came back with a spinning slam for two. Ford went for the Muta Lock, but Conti fought out and applied a calf slicer. Ford fought to reach the ropes. Conti hit repeated corner strikes, but Ford countered with a double knee gutbuster for two.

Ford distracted the official and Bunny got involved, but Conti pushed Bunny off the apron and rolled up Ford for the win.

– After the match, Ford and Bunny attacked Conti, but the Dark Order’s music played and the returning Anna Jay chased them off. She will be part of the Casino Battle Royale.

The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) & The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) (w/ Brandon Cutler) defeated The Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fénix) & Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus)

This was excellent.

Gallows and Luchasaurus started off. The big men traded strikes in the corner before Luchasaurus hit a nice vertical suplex. Fénix and Nick tagged in with a nice exchange before tagging in their elder brothers. The two teams faced off, but the Good Brothers ran in and cut the Lucha Bros off ahead of a break.

During the break, Jungle Boy was powerbombed on the apron. He made a comeback and reached Fénix for the tag. Fénix fought off Anderson before hitting his step-up springboard arm drag on Nick. Penta hit a thrust kick in the cornerfollowed by his missile dropkick to the posterior, but Matt broke up the pin attempt.

Nick hit an Ultimo Dragon tijeras arm drag combination before kicks from all four title competitors led to everyone down. Luchasaurus and Anderson tagged in and the big man hit strikes followed by a German. He sent Gallows to the floor and cut off a Nick springboard, sending him onto the Good Brothers out on the floor. He then assisted Jungle Boy on a great tornillo outside.

Luchasaurus hit a chokeslaam and a standing moonsault on Anderson for two. Penta tagged in and the Lucha Bros set up for the Fear Factor, but the official was distracted and Cutler sprayed cold spray in Fénix’s eyes. The Good Brothers hit a Magic Killer on Fénix for a good near fall.

Fénix countered a BTE Trigger and hit a double handspring cutter on both Bucks. He fought off the Good Brothers, but the Bucks caught a crossbody and hit the Meltzer Driver for the win.

– After the match, Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa walked out. They beat up on the babyfaces while Omega taunted them all. The Good Brothers sent Luchasaurus through a table with a Magic Killer.

Christian Cage ran out and attacked Omega, but he was overwhelmed. Omega called for the cage to be lowered as the Elite continued to beat on their respective PPV opponents with kendo sticks.

Dante Martin, Frankie Kazarian, and Orange Cassidy ran out to try to get into the cage. The Elite fended them off with kendo sticks and cold spray. They handcuffed the Lucha Bros to the ropes and hit repeated thrust kicks. They then hit a BTE Trigger on Christian.

This was a hot angle to close the show, and it established that nobody gets in or out of the cage.

Show Report —

They recapped CM Punk’s debut promo from last week’s Rampage.

Orange Cassidy defeated Matt Hardy

This wasn’t very good. It took forever to get going and the finish came completely out of nowhere.

Neither man came out with seconds. They exchanged soft kicks and refrains of “DELETE!” at the start. Hardy put his hands in his pockets and pulled out money, so Orange dropkicked it out of his hands. Orange went for a tope suicida, but Hardy caught it and hit the Side Effect out on the floor.

Back in the ring, Hardy hit repeated back suplexes. He mocked Orange’s lackadaisical kicks and hit an elbow drop for two. After another suplex, Hardy took his money back that Orange had taken and hit a leg drop for two more. He sent Orange into the corner with a hammer throw, but Orange countered a second. He went for the Beach Break, but Hardy fought out as Orange’s back was hurt badly. Hardy hit a Splash Mountain for two.

Hardy set up for the Twist of Fate, but Orange kept rolling out of the way. Orange countered a Twist of Fate and sent Hardy to the floor before taking him out with a tope suicida. He followed it up with a diving crossbody and a float-over DDT for two. Hardy was busted open bad from his nose, which may have been broken.

They fought on the top rope until Orange sent Hardy to the mat. He mocked Jeff Hardy’s pose and hit a hands-in-pockets Swanton Bomb. Orange went for the Twist of Fate, but Hardy countered out of it and hit a diving elbow drop for two. Orange came back with a Twist of Fate for a good near fall.

Hardy avoided the Orange Punch and went for the Leech submission, but Orange turned it into a hands-in-pockets cradle for the pin.

Malakai Black said he agreed with Brock Anderson’s dad: he’s in over his head. Black demanded that when the bell rings, Brock apologizes. If that doesn’t happen, Black will take out his anger on Brock, Arn, Cody, and anyone remotely associated with the Nightmare Family.

Chris Jericho and MJF promo

Jericho made his entrance, “Judas” and all. He’s disappointed because he lost to MJF for the third time, and even worse, he tapped out. He put himself through all that punishment because he had to –– it’s what he does. He had to beat MJF because it’s like a mantra running through his head: “beat MJF, beat MJF, beat MJF.” Jericho said he would continuously call out and attack MJF until it’s over.

He invited MJF out to hear his proposal, but MJF didn’t show. Jericho proposed one more match at All Out. If he can’t beat MJF, maybe he doesn’t belong in AEW anymore. If MJF beats him, he will never wrestle in AEW again.

MJF came out and said that this is embarrassing. He told Jericho to just leave him alone. He said the only reason Jericho is obsessed with MJF is that he needs the rub from the fastest rising star in professional wrestling. However, while being able to say “I tapped out Chris Jericho” is cool, saying “I ended Chris Jericho” is legendary. He accepted, telling Jericho to be careful because he’s better than him and he knows it.

**********

The Varsity Blonds were in the locker room. They might not have the bloodline bond that the Lucha Bros have, but they’re focused on their goal of taking on the Young Bucks inside a steel cage.

The Young Bucks and their Elite associates came out to watch this match.

Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fénix) defeated Varsity Blonds (Griff Garrison & Brian Pillman Jr.) (w/ Julia Hart)

Like the opener, this also wasn’t very good. This was one of the sloppier Dynamite matches I’ve seen.

This is the semifinals of the tag title contenders’ tournament, with the winning team facing the Jurassic Express this Friday for a shot against the Young Bucks in a steel cage at All Out.

Garrison and Fénix started off. They wrestled around but had each other’s big moves scouted, going to a stalemate and tagging in their partners. Penta called for a “Cero Miedo” chant and got in Pillman’s face. Pillman hit forearms but ran into a thrust kick before hitting one of his own. A step-up hurricanrana took down Penta, who came back with a sling blade. Penta followed it up with a loud overhand chop leading into the break.

Neither team was really in control with some sloppy offense coming back from break. Penta reached Fénix for a tag, who took out Garrison with a mule kick before hitting a cutter on Pillman for two. Penta and Garrison fought on the apron, but Pillman hit a springboard dropkick on Penta. Fénix pulled Pillman to the floor and the Lucha Bros hit stereo thrust kicks before Fénix landed an assisted tope suicida.

Back in the ring, the Blonds isolated Fénix and Garrison hit a diving crossbody for two. Penta got involved and they took turns kicking Pillman before an assisted package piledriver got the Lucha Bros the win out of nowhere.

– After the match, the Lucha Bros and Jurassic Express faced off in the ring. The Bucks came in and shoved Jurassic Express into the Lucha Bros. It looked like the two teams would get heated, but they kicked the Bucks to the floor and took them out with dives.

**********

Andrade El Idolo and Chavo Guerrero cut a promo saying PAC is great, but Andrade is better. They will battle at All Out.

    **********

Jamie Hayter (w/ Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. & Rebel) defeated Red Velvet

Both women looked great here in this short match.

Hayter shrugged off a dropkick and hit a fallaway slam. She dominated Velvet with strikes early on until Velvet baited Hayter to the floor. Velvet followed it up with two great suicide dives ahead of the break. Baker got involved, attacking Velvet from behind while the official was distracted.

Once back, the two were trading forearms in the center of the ring. Velvet got the upper hand with clotheslines and a back elbow followed by a cazadora bulldog. Baker got on the apron, forcing Velvet to strike her to the floor. Velvet missed a standing moonsault, so Hayter killed her with a chokebreaker and a running lariat for the win.

    – Hayter and Rebel attacked after the match. Kris Statlander ran out and cleaned house. She faced off with Baker, who escaped to the floor.

    **********

The Dark Order were backstage. Evil Uno said the Dark Order is a unit, and units sometimes face obstacles, like a couple weeks ago when some members stayed back during the Hangman Page beatdown. Reynolds had a problem with what Uno said, blaming Uno for the beatdown. Uno told Reynolds to stay in John Silver’s shadow. More dissention followed.

    **********

    CM Punk speaks

Schiavone said he’s a wrestling announcer, but he’s a fan first. He brought out “the best in the world,” CM Punk.

Punk was asked what one thing brought him back to wrestling. Punk said “I can’t hear you, Tony,” referencing the deafening “CM Punk” chants. He mulled over the question, before referencing all the young talent in AEW. There’s one guy above all: Darby Allin. Punk put over Allin, saying when he sees Allin wrestle, he thinks, “Can CM Punk still go?” If so, it starts with Allin.

When Punk was 15, Allin would’ve been his favorite wrestler. He doesn’t fit the mold –– not the biggest or the strongest –– but he’s got heart. There were “Yes!” chants, and Punk told them to be patient, referencing Bryan Danielson in all but name. At All Out, Punk’s not here to prove haters wrong, he’s here to prove himself right. He acknowledged his wife, AJ Lee/April Mendez, and Schiavone closed out the segment.

    **********

Miro admitted to being wrong about Fuego Del Sol, but he doesn’t forgive Eddie Kingston. He will find Kingston, because he is the Redeemer. His wife will love him because he is the champion. “Bring me the Mad King, before I burn this place to the ground.”

    **********

Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, & Darby Allin (w/ Sting) defeated The Wingmen (Ryan Nemeth, Cezar Bononi, & JD Drake) (w/ Peter Avalon)

Allin sent Drake to the floor right away, but Drake moved out of the way to stop a dive. Kingston and Nemeth tagged in. The latter posed, so Kingston took him out with a chop. Bononi came in and had a shoulder block battle with Kingston, but a blind tag from Moxley allowed him and Kingston to take out Bononi ahead of the commercial.

Bononi was beating up on Moxley upon return, but Moxley powered out of the attack and tagged in Kingston, who hit a kitchen sink and a uranage. A Nemeth distraction allowed Drake to take out Kingston, but Moxley bit at Drake’s face as Kingston tagged in Allin. Allin hit an avalanche Code Red and laid in slaps until Peter Avalon tripped him up. Sting, Moxley, and Kingston cornered Avalon and beat him down.

Nemeth brought a chair into the ring, so Moxley and Kingston just took him out. Allin and Drake were left, and Allin hit a stunner and the Coffin Drop for the win.

    – After the match, Daniel Garcia ran out and attacked Allin before fleeing once Sting, Moxley, and Kingston entered the ring.

    **********

Tay Conti was asked about the women’s Casino Battle Royale as well as the Dark Order’s tensions. The Bunny walked up and offered Conti a spot in Hardy Family Offices. Conti ripped up the contract, Bunny slapped her, and they brawled.

    **********

Dax Harwood provided an update on Cash Wheeler, saying the nerves in his arm aren’t firing the way they should. He’s gotten approval for one more match. Cash walked up and said they wouldn’t stop until they get their pound of flesh. “Top guys, out.”

    **********

    Kenny Omega promo

Omega, Callis, Nakazawa, & Cutler all came out. Callis immediately interrupted Schiavone and said at All Out, they’d take out Christian Cage once and for all.

Christian’s music played. He came out played a video of Callis and Christian’s history, with Callis booking Christian and immediately firing him. Christian called Callis a “carny piece of sh*t.” Omega said that clearly nothing has changed in 27 years, and Callis compared himself to promoters like Watts, McMahon and Gagne.

Christian completely ignored it, which infuriated Callis. Callis said that at All Out, Christian would find out what Callis has known his entire career: Christian’s “second-best.” Christian attacked but was overwhelmed by the numbers advantage, leading to Frankie Kazarian running out to make the save.

    **********

Jon Moxley cut a promo backstage, noting that the NJPW man who’s showing up for All Out is Satoshi Kojima. Kojima’s a legend, but Moxley’s insulted that Kojima feels like he can go toe-to-toe with him. Once that bell rings, he has no respect for anyone. At All Out, it’ll be a public execution of Satoshi Kojima.

    **********

Paul Wight joined commentary for this match.

The Gunn Club (Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn, & Colten Gunn) defeated The Factory (QT Marshall, Nick Comoroto, & Aaron Solow)

The powerhouses Billy and Comoroto faced off at the start until Austin and Solow tagged in. A clothesline from QT on the apron allowed the Factory to take control ahead of the break. Once back, Comoroto was in control. Solow tagged in, allowing Austin to escape to Colten for the hot tag. Colten hit corner splashes on Solow and QT.

QT taunted and pointed at Wight on commentary, so Billy rolled him up for the quick win.

    **********

Dan Lambert was with the Men of the Year, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky. He couldn’t believe that AEW fans want to see people like Sammy Guevara and Orange Cassidy week after week. They don’t want to see tough guys. Lambert brought some real men who will stand up to the “woke masses,” like Sky and Page. They will set an example.

Arn Anderson was asked about the experience difference between his son and Black. He said Brock’s in over his head, but he’s an Anderson: he’s got guts. Unfortunately, good doesn’t always conquer evil. He’ll go down with Brock either way.

Malakai Black defeated Brock Anderson (w/ Arn Anderson)

Black immediately cornered Brock and laid in repeated strikes. Arn considered throwing in the towel, but instead dropped it. Black demanded that Arn throw it in, allowing Brock to surprise Black with strikes to Black’s quad. Black came back with an overhead throw and the spinning heel kick for the squash victory.

    – After the match, Black grabbed a chair. He faced off with Arn in the ring. Arn told him to get rid of the chair and square up. Arn blocked the spinning heel kick, so Black kicked him low and hit the spinning heel kick, leaving both Andersons laying.

Lee Johnson came out, but Black wasn’t interested in a fight.

AEW Dynamite live results: Sting in action, Chris Jericho vs. MJF

Sting will wrestle on TNT for the first time since the last episode of WCW Monday Nitro on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.

    Show Report —

Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston made their entrance but were jumped by 2.0 and Daniel Garcia from behind. Matt Lee grabbed a mic and taunted Darby Allin and Sting before calling for their match to start right now.

The lights went out and Sting and Darby made their entrance. When Darby’s music played, he attacked 2.0 from behind with his skateboard.

Texas Tornado Tag: Sting & Darby Allin defeated 2.0 (Matt Lee & Jeff Parker) (w/ Daniel Garcia)

They immediately brawled out into the crowd. Garcia assisted 2.0, effectively making it a three on two match. 2.0 hit their finisher, 2 for the Show, on Darby into a concrete overhang out on the concourse. They dragged Sting back towards the ring, but Allin balanced on a railing and dove on 2.0 and Garcia.

Kingston appeared and took out Garcia to even the odds. Darby and Sting produced a table but 2.0 stopped them from setting it up in the ring. They suplexed Darby onto his own skateboard on the ramp. Sting fought off both of 2.0 in the ring and went for ten punches in the corner, but Parker cut him off. They turned it into a double powerbomb through a table, but Sting no-sold it and stood right back up.

Darby dropkicked them both into perfect Scorpion Death Drop position, and Sting hit it before locking them both on a simultaneous Scorpion Deathlock for the double submission.

Earlier today as they were taping Dark/Elevation, Sammy Guevara proposed to his girlfriend, and she said yes.

The camera cut to a promo from Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard. Spears said he’d let Guevara’s now-fiancée be an honorary member of the Pinnacle for one night.

Sammy Guevara defeated Shawn Spears (w/ Tully Blanchard)

Spears attacked during Guevara’s entrance but Guevara was ready for him. He hit a really nice flip dive off the ramp to the ringside area. Guevara beat Spears down at ringside until he was sent into the ring steps, then Tully gave Spears the assist on the stuff piledriver.

The match finally started and Spears and Tully went for the piledriver again, but Tully was ejected. Spears continued to beat down Guevara and taunted his fiancée, but Guevara came back with an enziguiri. Spears avoided the double springboard moonsault and they traded chops into a commercial.

During the break, Spears set up one of the barricades between the ring and the security railing on the outside. They both sprung to the top rope, Spears flipped him off, and Guevara hit a top-rope cutter for a good near fall. Spears countered a top-rope hurricanrana into an avalanche C4 for another near fall.

Guevara escaped another C4 attempt on the apron and sent Spears through the propped-up barricade with a Death Valley driver to the floor. He then climbed the ropes and hit the 630 senton, but Spears shockingly kicked out.

In the center of the ring, Guevara pulled down his knee pad and hit repeated knees to the face. He then hit the GTH on Spears for the win.

    – After the match, Guevara and his fiancée kissed.

    **********

Christian Cage was with Tony Schiavone. He was immediately interrupted by Don Callis, who gave Christian his first break 25 years ago. He patronizingly congratulated Christian on his win and opportunity, saying Omega would win anyway. Christian said he’s in Omega’s head now, and Omega is terrified he’s going to take the AEW World Championship before calling Callis a “carny piece of sh*t.”

    **********

A video package recapped Dante Martin’s performance in the big six-man tag match last week. He said he took Omega to the absolute limit. He’s going to keep rising up the ranks.

    **********

Dan Lambert, flanked by Junior Dos Santos and Andrei Arlovski, was in the ring with Tony Schiavone. He felt like he had been silenced and called millennials “soft” and “triggered.” He said Dos Santos and Arlovski are ready for a fight. “AEW is not the answer to your professional wrestling prayers.”

He said AEW has a roster full of wanna-be tough guys who can’t wrestle. These fans are only here because it’s the only good part of their lives.

Lance Archer interrupted but was attacked from behind by Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page, the Men of the Year.

    **********

Chris Jericho was backstage. He’s overcome all this adversity because tonight he wins the prize. He may not be able to use the Judas Effect, but he’s got 5,000 fans in attendance who will sing him to the ring. Tonight, Jericho finally gets his revenge. “Jericho up, and My Jerk-off Friend down.”

Don Callis joined commentary for this match.

AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) (w/ The Good Brothers & Brandon Cutler) defeated Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) (w/ Marko Stunt)

    This was fantastic.

Nick taunted Jungle Boy with some acrobatics early on until Jungle Boy took him out with a pescado. Jungle Boy hit his springboard armdrag and a lariat before tagging in Luchasaurus. Matt tagged in but was immediately taken down with a chop. Luchasaurus caught a crossbody and turned it into a powerslam for two.

Jungle Boy tagged back in. The Bucks tried to overwhelm him with numbers, but Jungle Boy hit a hurricanrana off the apron to the floor. Matt took out Jungle Boy with a running dropkick before landing a corner dive on Luchasaurus out on the floor. The Bucks mainained control throughout a break.

Upon return, Jungle Boy hit his rebound lariat and reached Luchaasaurus for the hot tag. Luchasaurus fought off both Bucks but ate a corner knee before escaping the follow-up bulldog and hitting a double clothesline. Nick fought out of the chokeslam and hit a gamenguiri, but Luchasaurus crotched him over the ropes. Jungle Boy hit a huge superplex off Luchasaurus’s shoulders for a near fall.

Brandon Cutler tried to interfere, but Luchasaurus had it scouted. Luchasaurus hit the Tail Whip, a cyclone kick, and a double chokeslam on both Bucks before an assisted cutter got a great near fall as Jungle Boy ran interference with a tope suicida.

The Young Bucks countered Jurassic Express’s finisher and hit a double superkick on Jungle Boy. They hit an Indytaker on Jungle Boy for a great near fall. Marko Stunt tried to fire up Jungle Boy, but Kenny Omega whacked him with a chair. Distractions were about to allow the Young Bucks to use the chair to win, but Christian ran out and fought Omega to the back.

Jungle Boy hit a brainbuster on the chair, but Nick broke up the pin at the last second. Jurassic Express hit Thorassic Express, their finisher, but Nick broke it up at the last second again. Jungle Boy fought off all the corner men before Luchasaurus hit a moonsault on the pile. Nick pushed Matt out of a backslide and the Bucks immediately turned it into the BTE Trigger for the win.

    – After the match, the Elite beat down Jurassic Express and Christian. Callis got a stomp in for good measure before Omega hit the One Winged Angel on Christian.

    **********

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Rebel were with Schiavone backstage. Baker brought out the recently returned Jamie Hayter. Hayter said she and Baker go way back. “Ask Red Velvet and Kris Statlander what it’s like at the end of my boots.” She dared Velvet to face her next week. Baker said gold isn’t Velvet’s color, and they’ll have some fun in Milwaukee next week.

    **********

A video package recapped the Matt Hardy and Orange Cassidy feud. Hardy said he wasn’t trying to pick on Wheeler YUTA, he’s an equal opportunity ass-kicker. If Orange continues to stick his nose in Hardy’s business, he’ll break it off his face. Orange said “let’s find out.”

    **********

Paul Wight was brought to the ring by Schiavone. Schiavone thanked Wight for coming to his aid last week, and Wight said it was amazing to be back in the ring. He has a huge announcement, but QT Marshall, flanked by Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solow, interrupted with “Houston, we have a problem.”

QT said here in AEW, we don’t get the fans excited just to let them down. Wight wasn’t having it. QT said there’s a reason Wight was hired as an announcer and not a wrestler. He put an X-ray on the screen along with photos of Wight’s big scar on his hip.

Wight fired up and said he wasn’t embarrassed and that QT doesn’t know anything. He talked with Tony Khan last week and will face QT at All Out.

Jade Cargill and Mark Sterling cut a promo. Sterling was impressed by Kiera Hogan on Dark, so Cargill will face Hogan on Rampage. Cargill said it was fun to see how Miro treated Fuego Del Sol last week, and that’s what will happen to Hogan on Friday.

    **********

The Elite were backstage with Schiavone. Schiavone said Tony Khan’s had enough, and there will be a Tag Team Eliminator tournament, with the winner facing off with the Young Bucks at All Out in a steel cage.

All Out will be in the same arena where PAC beat Kenny Omega on two weeks’ notice. Andrade and Chavo walked up, and Andrade said PAC needed to agree to their conditions, which was a giant ream of paper. Chavo said that even if the Lucha Bros win the tournament, they will never be champions as long as they work for PAC.

    Thunder Rosa defeated Penelope Ford

These two are both ranked in the top 5 of the women’s division. Rosa hit a shotgun dropkick and attacked Ford in the corner. She dropkicked Ford to the floor, but Ford pushed her into the ring post and hit a cutter on the floor ahead of a commercial.

Once back, Rosa hit a corner clothesline and double knees followed by a running dropkick. A butterfly suplex from Rosa got two. She went for the Fire Thunder Driver, but Ford countered and went for the Muta Lock. Ford turned it into a pinning predicament, but Rosa kicked out and locked on a single leg crab, forcing Ford to reach the ropes.

Rosa spun around and hit a Death Valley driver for two. Ford got the Muta Lock once again, but Rosa fought out and locked on a modified sleeper for the submission.

Jon Moxley was backstage. He’s been thinking about everyone coming to AEW. He then ran down all the top stars like the Elite, Hangman Page, and Christian Cage. Moxley’s the guy who carried the company through uncertain times. He said it’s about time to send a message about the food chain in AEW. He will main event Rampage against Daniel Garcia, but Garcia should ask if this is what he really wants, because this “ain’t no joke.”

Jericho came out with no music, but of course, the audience sang it anyway. That was awesome.

    MJF defeated Chris Jericho

Jericho cannot use the Judas Effect. He took MJF down at the start and hit his signature springboard dropkick followed by a plancha to the floor. MJF sent Jericho into the barricade and grabbed the ringside camera, taunting Jericho. The camera panned to Jerihco, however, and Jericho punched it, planting MJF on his back.

In the ring, MJF attacked Jericho’s arm to regain control ahead of a commercial. Jericho came back with a clothesline upon return. Right hands and shoulder tackles took MJF off his feet before Jericho landed a double sledge off the top.

MJF once again resumed the attack on Jericho’s arm. Jericho took him down with a cross chop before a Lionsault followed for a near fall. He kept up the offense with ten corner clotheslines before bringing MJF to the top rope. He landed ten punches and a top-rope hurricanrana for two.

Once MJF kicked out, he immediately locked on the Salt of the Earth armbar. After a long fight, Jericho rolled through and applied the Walls. MJF countered it quickly and hit an up kick to break the hold. They traded punches in the center of the ring before MJF was able to snap Jericho’s arm over the rope. The Heat Seeker followed for two.

MJF hit a low blow where the official couldn’t see it and locked on a Liontamer. Jericho dug in and crawled to the ropes. MJF tried to grab the Dynamite Diamond Ring but the official saw it. Jericho hit MJF with Floyd the Bat but hesitated on the Judas Effect. MJF hit a Judas Effect and locked on the Salt of the Earth. Jericho made one attempt at a cradle to break it, but MJF kept it locked on and forced Jericho to tap.

The show started with a memorial graphic for the late Bobby Eaton.

    **********

MJF, flanked by Wardlow, cut a promo on Chris Jericho. He said Jericho worked as hard as he had only to be stopped an arm’s length away from the finish line by Wardlow. If, somehow, Jericho vanquishes Wardlow, he went through it all to find out MJF’s still better than him.

Wardlow said he’d beat Jericho anyway. MJF challenged him, “Like you beat Cody Rhodes in the cage?” He handed Wardlow an apple he had been eating, and Wardlow crushed it in his hand.

It was announced, rather unceremoniously, that Christian Caage would face Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at All Out.

Don Callis joined commentary for the match.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, & Nick Jackson) (w/ Brandon Cutler & Michael Nakazawa) defeated Matt Sydal, Mike Sydal, and Dante Martin

This was a very fun opener designed to showcase Dante Martin.

The Sydals established control against Matt Jackson early. Nick tagged in but was taken down with a dropkick from Martin, who also sent Matt Jackson packing with a tijeras. Omega cut off Martin’s offense but was sent to the floor by the Sydals. Martin hit a wacky assisted dive on the Elite on the floor followed by a diving crossbody on Matt Jackson for two.

Omega swatted away a dropkick from Mike and cut him off with an assist from the Bucks. The Elite beat him down with repeated tags. An assisted Kotaro Crusher got two. Matt Sydal finally got the hot tag and ran wild on everyone, with a Northern Lights Bomb getting a two count on Matt Jackson. The Sydals applied a cobra clutch/Muta Lock combination, but Omega broke it up with snap dragon suplexes.

Martin came in with some innovative offense before finally tagging back in and hitting ten punches in the corner. He landed a tope suicida on Omega followed by a diving hurricanrana. A double springboard moonsault got a good near fall on Matt Jackson. What a great hot tag.

We got a parade of big moves concluded with an Omega V-Trigger. Aoi Shoudou followed, as did a second V-Trigger. Martin fought out of the One-Winged Angel but was met with another V-Trigger. Martin rolled up Omega repeatedly but was cut off with yet another V-Trigger before the One-Winged Angel followed by the BTE Trigger finished it.

    – After the match, Callis was about to cut a promo, but was interrupted by Christian Cage. Callis called him a “Stamford stooge.” Callis pointed out the numbers advantage, leading to Jurassic Express coming out for backup ahead of a commercial break.

Once back, Callis tried to put over Christian, who was loudly booed. Loud “CM Punk” chants, then “Yes!” chants. Callis asked if Christian was nervous.

Christian said “Are you finished, you carny piece of sh*t?” then revised it to “jagoff” for some Pittsburgh slang. He announced that this Friday, Omega would defend the *Impact* championship against Christian for the debut episode of Rampage.

Before the segment ended, Jungle Boy revealed that Jurassic Express would challenge the Young Bucks for next week’s Dynamite.

Before the match, an inset promo aired from Garcia, who said he would’ve won last week had Moxley and Kingston not interfered. 2.0 said Sting better not get involved.

Darby Allin (w/ Sting) defeated Daniel Garcia (w/ 2.0)

Neither man could establish an advantage early on as they performed technical chain wrestling. The first real action came when Garcia kicked Allin out of a rope break. Allin went for the Fujiwara armbar but Garcia quickly reached the ropes. A distraction from 2.0 allowed Garcia to take control with a hard whip into the corner.

Back from commercial, Garcia was targeting Allin’s left arm. Allin avoided a corner attack, but a 2.0 distraction allowed Garcia to knock Allin off the top rope. A hammerlock back suplex from Garcia got two. Garcia applied a grounded leg nelson, but Allin’s foot reached the ropes.

A chop from Garcia fired Allin up, who laid in slaps. Allin countered a suplex into a Coffin Drop attempt, but Garcia caught it and applied a rear naked choke. Allin jackknifed out of the hold and hit a stunner, then landed the Coffin Drop to win.

    – After the match, 2.0 were about to attack Allin, but Sting cut them off and they beat the jobbers down. Sting hit a suplex on the ramp as they sent 2.0 packing.

    **********

Death Triangle were backstage. Fénix tried to fire PAC up, but Penta said he wanted Andrade first. PAC told them not to worry and told them to focus on the tag titles. PAC then addressed Andrade and said they have no idea why he’s obsessed with Death Triangle. If Andrade still has a problem, PAC’s ready to fight anytime, anywhere.

    **********

Matt Hardy & Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) (w/ H.F.O.) defeated Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, & Wheeler YUTA (w/ Kris Statlander)

Cassidy did his schtick early on but was met by repeated “DELETE!”s from Hardy. He rolled Hardy up, but Hardy immediately hit the Side Effect for two. Hardy went for a dive, but Cassidy rolled out of the way and hit a lazy splash. Kassidy tagged in and Cassidy fought off both members of Private Party before assisting YUTA, who hit a modified Angle slam for two.

Private Party hit the Silly String on Kassidy ahead of the break. Once back, YUTA fought off a double team from Private Party. Multiple distractions led to Nyla Rose running out and leveling Statlander ahead of their match later tonight. Jack Evans attacked Cassidy.

YUTA finally reached Taylor for the hot tag, who ran wild before taking out Blade and Angélico with a dive. Taylor powerbombed Quen onto Kassidy before hitting a spinning Liger bomb on Quen for two. Cassidy hit the tornado DDT on Hardy followed by a tope.

Taylor tagged in YUTA, who hit a top-rope splash for two. Kassidy got a blind tag and hit a swanton bomb for two. Private Party hit Gin ‘n’ Juice on YUTA, but Cassidy broke up the pin and hit the Orange Punch on Kassidy. Hardy tagged in and hit the Twist of Fate on YUTA for the win.

Kris Statlander (w/ Orange Cassidy) defeated Nyla Rose (w/ Vickie Guerrero)

Rose attacked before the bell. Statlander briefly gained control before being taken out with a pounce. Rose hit a German suplex, but Statlander avoided the follow-up and hit a pendulum moonsault off the apron. Cassidy and Vickie faced off at ringside, and Vickie proceeded to let loose an ear-splitting scream. Rose used the distraction to hit a chokeslam for two.

Statlander hand-standed off the ropes to avoid the leg drop, but Rose wasn’t having it and took her out with a spear. Statlander fought out of a corner attack and hit a powerbomb followed by the Area 451 for the win in about four minutes.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. was brought out to a sea of Terrible Towels. Her parents were shown in the crowd. Schiavone asked Baker about Red Velvet. Baker said she couldn’t comment on Velvet’s rise to the top because she couldn’t relate. She’s always been the top of the division, and she stepped up when Pittsburgh needed a champion.

Baker said Velvet may have had some hope if they were wrestling in any other city. This Friday, Baker vs. Velvet will be the main event. “And still, your AEW Women’s World Champion, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.”

Velvet ran out and attacked Baker, leading to officials breaking it up.

A Brian Cage and Ricky Starks dueling promo aired. They’ll face off next week.

Impact EVP Scott D’Amore joined commentary. Notably, the only Dark Order member that came out for their entrance was Colt Cabana.

IMPACT Tag Team Championships: The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) (c) (w/ Brandon Cutler) defeated Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson) (w/ Colt Cabana)

Grayson took out everyone with a tope con giro before the bell. A double team from the Dark Order led to a jackknife pin from Grayson for two. Cutler pulled Uno off the ring apron, but Cabana took him out. Frankie Kazarian ran out and met Cutler on the apron with a clothesline and pulled him to the back. Gallows beat down Uno on the floor ahead of the commercial.

Uno hit a hurricanrana to reach Grayson for the hot tag. Grayson suplexed both Good Brothers before hitting a twisting springboard moonsault for two. Gallows tagged in, but Grayson fought out of a fireman’s carry and tried to lift Gallows up. Grayson hit a double Pele kick on the Good Brothers before the Dark Order hit a double team overhead suplex. The cannonball/450 splash combo followed for two.

Dark Order went for Fatality, but Gallows cut it off. Grayson fought out of the Magic Killer and hit an assisted tope on Gallows before Uno hit a Flatliner on Anderson. They went for the Fatality, but a belt distraction allowed Anderson to hit the Gun Stun followed by the Magic Killer to win and retain.

Chris Jericho defeated Wardlow (w/ MJF)

Jericho went right after Wardlow but was immediately overpowered and beaten down in the corner. Jericho got a surprise flurry with a diving axe handle and a Codebreaker, but Wardlow kicked out at one. Wardlow hit repeated suplexes before moving to the floor and sending Jericho into the barricade. He drove Jericho repeatedly into the ring post.

Back in the ring, Wardlow hit a powerbomb and then a second ahead of a break. More powerbombs upon return. Jericho tried to fight back with chops, but Wardlow caught a crossbody and hit the F-10. MJF instructed Wardlow to “finish him,” but Jericho caught Wardlow’s draping knee lift and applied the Walls. MJF raked Jericho’s eyes, forcing a break.

MJF entered the ring, but the official caught him and ejected him from ringside. Jericho produced Floyd the bat and hit Wardlow with it followed by the Judas Effect for the win.

    – Shawn Spears attacked after the match, but Sammy Guevara made the save. Wardlow beat down Guevara and MJF locked on the Salt of the Earth on Jericho. Jake Hager ran out and sent the Pinnacle members packing.

In an NWA World Women’s Championship eliminator match, The Bunny will face Leyla Hirsch.

Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

    **********

MJF joined commentary for the opener.

    Chris Jericho defeated Juventud Guerrera

Jericho must win by hitting a move off the top rope. This is their first match against each other since 1999. Like many Juvy matches throughout his career, there were spectacular moments interspersed with some baffling sloppiness and miscommunication.

Juventud went right after Jericho and laid in chops in the corner. A diving hurricanrana followed, as did a diving tijeras. Jericho was sent to the floor, where Juventud took him out with another dive. A fourth straight dive followed back in the ring where a missile dropkick got two.

Jericho tackled Juventud to the floor and attacked with chops. Back in the ring, Jericho landed a diving crossbody for two (he can only go for covers on moves off the top rope). Juventud came back with a series of strikes, but Jericho took him down with a cross chop. Juventud hit a thrust kick for two, then a buzzsaw kick for two more.

Juventud went for a corner attack, but Jericho popped up with a shoulder tackle. There was some miscommunication, but then Jericho landed a diving axe handle for two. Jericho hit a backbreaker, but the official wouldn’t count because it wasn’t off the top rope. Jericho tore at Juventud’s mask, but Juventud fought out and they jockeyed for position up top. Jericho caught the top-rope hurricanrana and hopped down into the Liontamer, which counts because it was technically off the top rope. Juventud reached the ropes to break it.

A spinning neckbreaker and thrust kick from Juventud got two. He kind of turned a powerbomb attempt into a DDT, then hit the Juvy Driver for a near fall. Jericho hit the Judas Effect, but he couldn’t cover. He climbed to the top rope and hit a diving Judas Effect to get the win.

    – After the match, Wardlow attacked Jericho and hit the F10 on Juventud before hitting the Casualty of War on Jericho.

MJF grabbed a mic. He mocked the crowd and revealed that Wardlow is the opponent for Labour #4, and MJF will be the special guest referee.

The Lucha Bros and Alex Abrahantes were asked where PAC was, as he’s not at Dynamite. Abrahantes implied someone was interfering with their travel. Andrade and Chavo walked up and Chavo talked about what it could be like if they worked for him, but the Lucha Bros weren’t having it.

    **********

The Dark Order were with Schiavone backstage. They were asked about losing the match last week. Hangman Page walked up and apologized for losing the match. The Dark Order were adamant that they have Page’s back, but Page suggested they go their separate ways. “For now, we’re done.” Page walked off, and Evil Uno said to give Page his space.

    **********

Before the match, 2.0 and Garcia cut a promo that was hard to hear due to the mixing. As far as I could tell they just talked about calling out top guys in Moxley, Allin, and Kingston.

Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, & Darby Allin (w/Sting) defeated 2.0 (Matt Lee & Jeff Parker) & Daniel Garcia

2.0 are the former Ever-Rise from WWE NXT. Garcia and Allin kicked off the match with a cradle exchange. Lee tagged himself in and clobbered Allin, but Allin tagged in Kingston. Lee wanted a chop battle with Kingston, who was happy to oblige. Kingston beat Lee down in the corner, but a cheap shot from Parker allowed Lee to chop block Kingston into the commercial break.

Once back, nearly Kingston escaped to Moxley for the hot tag, but was cut off before he could reach him. Moxley had enough and took out Garcia on the floor. They brawled, but Lee was distracted by the legend Sting. Allin used the distraction to take out Lee with a tope.

Moxley got the hot tag and took out both of 2.0. He hit the Paradigm Shift on Garcia, then tagged in Allin for the Coffin Drop for the win.

    **********

Brian Cage and Team Taz cut a dueling promo video. Cage said he’d destroy Team Taz, while Taz said it’s better to be in the group than out of it.

    **********

The Elite were being wacky with a basketball backstage. Gallows and Anderson are going to defend the IMPACT tag team championships on Dynamite next week against the Dark Order. The Young Bucks said there’s nobody left to challenge them. Omega said Page blew it last week, and now he’s got no friends. Cutler cut down the net of the basketball hoop.

    *********

Christian Cage defeated The Blade (w/ The Bunny)

Christian attacked before the bell. Blade quickly gained the advantage in the ring, but Christian came back with right hands. Blade tried to flee and Christian made chase, but was stopped by the Bunny. Christian ignored the distraction and sent Blade into the barricade. Back in the ring, Christian climbed the top turnbuckle, but Bunny grabbed his leg. Leyla Hirsch ran out and chased Bunny to the back.

Blade tried to use the distraction to take control, but Christian had it scouted. Blade then took out Christian with a rope-rebound suplex ahead of a commercial. Once back, Christian avoided a corner spear and sent Blade shoulder-first into the ring post. He followed it up with a dive from the ring post to the floor.

Back in the ring, Christian hit right hands followed by corner punches. He landed the drop-down uppercut followed by a sunset flip for two. Christian went for the Killswitch, but Blade fought out and countered the tornado DDT into a powerslam for two. Blade hit a release suplex and a kick, then used the turnbuckle to distract the official and get the brass knuckles. Blade then walked right into a Spear, giving Christian the win.

    **********

Santana & Ortiz and FTR cut a promo talking about their match the previous week. Harwood said he almost watched his friend die. Ortiz said this was “far from over.”

    **********

    Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. promo

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. and Rebel were introduced by Schiavone. Baker said it was right here, in Jacksonville, where Baker won the AEW Women’s Championship. Red Velvet’s music played and she walked out. She insulted Baker and said she wanted a piece of “D.M.D.” Baker beat Velvet in three minutes the last time they fought.

Velvet may have been “enhancement talent” before, but she’s 22-4 now, and she’s earned a shot. Baker accepted, and the match will happen in Baker’s hometown of Pittsburgh for the AEW Rampage debut.

Rebel tried to attack Velvet with the crutch, but Velvet had it scouted. Baker attacked and curb stomped Velvet before driving the crutch into her throat.

    **********

Andrade El Idolo was about to cut a promo. Chavo found someone who’s going to work for him: Fuego Del Sol. Chavo needs Fuego to shine Andrade’s shoes, but he wouldn’t do it. Andrade had enough and attacked, tossing Fuego into a garage door. Chavo said that if the Lucha Bros keep working for PAC, they’ll never be champions.

    **********

    Hangman Page speaks

Page was about to speak to Schiavone about why he’s splitting up with the Dark Order, but the Elite interrupted. Omega suggested that Page could be out here to make a plea to re-join the Elite, but Page denied it. Omega mocked Page’s relationship with the fans. He considered giving Page a shot, but said Page wouldn’t fit in with the Elite anymore. “The elite doesn’t have losers in our group.” Page had enough and slapped Omega, but was quickly overwhelmed and taken out with a Magic Killer.

The Dark Order ran out to save Page, but Uno and Grayson stopped the rest of the crew. The Young Bucks hit repeated BTE Triggers. Frankie Kazarian ran out but was quickly beaten down as well. Omega crushed Page with a belt shot.

    *********

Dan Lambert of American Top Team cut a promo about Lance Archer attacking him a few weeks ago. He said he’d bring backup next week for… something.

    *********

TNT Championship: Miro (c) defeated Lee Johnson (w/ Dustin Rhodes)

This was very good. Johnson is one of the more underutilized members of the AEW roster.

Johnson ran right at Miro but was immediately dropped with a shoulder tackle. Miro shrugged off some strikes and caught a diving crossbody, turning it into a slam. He called for Game Over, but Johnson rolled to the floor ahead of the break.

Back from commercial, Miro had Johnson locked in a bearhug before demanding more shots from Johnson. Johnson countered a pop-up into a DDT, but Miro popped up. Miro was wobbly, so Johnson laid in more strikes. He dropkicked Miro to the floor and landed two straight tope suicidas followed by a tope con giro.

Johnson landed a diving crossbody, but Miro kicked out at one. Miro went for a German suplex, but Johnson flipped out and hit repeated thrust kicks. Johnson went back to the top rope and hit a frog splash for two. He tried to hoist Miro up, but Miro fought out and crushed Johnson with a high kick. Miro then called for Game Over and locked it on for the stoppage.

Christian Cage was backstage with Schiavone. He’s the new #1 contender for the AEW World Championship. Christian was asked if he will back up Leyla Hirsch after Hirsch ran interference during the Blade match, but Christian doesn’t just have friends, he has “Best” friends. He came back to cement his legacy and win championships. Christian’s been known to stir a little sh*t, and he’s not just good, he’s “Elite.”

NWA Women’s World Championship #1 Contender: Leyla Hirsch (w/ Best Friends) defeated The Bunny (w/ H.F.O.)

They traded forearms right away before Hirsch hit something of a tope to the floor. Hirsch targeted Bunny’s arm, but Bunny pulled her hair to force a break. Bunny hit a backstabber, sending Hirsch to the floor, before following it up with a running dropkick leading into the commercial. NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille was shown at ringside.

Upon return, Hirsch hit a superplex. Nyla Rose was at ringside for some reason and she and Statlander exchanged looks. Hirsch hit repeated Germans before following them up with corner knees and a dropkick for two. She locked on the cross armbreaker, but Bunny pinned Hirsch’s shoulders to force the break.

Hirsch hit a big knee strike followed by missing her step-up moonsault. Bunny took advantage with a thrust kick and a Death Valley driver for two. Hirsch fought out of Down The Rabbit Hole and went for the cross armbreaker again, transitioning to the center of the ring and forcing Bunny to tap.

    – After the match, Hirsch invited Kamille into the ring. Kamille dwarfs Hirsch, probably a foot taller. They exchanged words to end the segment.

    **********

Jade Cargill and Mark Sterling cut a promo. Sterling said Cargill hasn’t been wrestling because they’ve been exploring other ventures. Cargill’s back and ready to wrestle, and she’s got a match this Monday on Elevation. The sky’s the limit, because Cargill’s “that bitch.”

    Next week’s Dynamite lineup:

    • Nyla Rose vs. Kris Statlander
    • Impact Tag Team Championships: Good Brothers vs. Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson)

For the debut episode of AEW Rampage (August 13):

    • AEW Women’s World Championship: Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (c) vs. Red Velvet

Malakai Black defeated Cody Rhodes (w/ Arn Anderson)

Black hit a leg kick right away and looked to capitalize on that advantage. Cody went for the Figure Four, but Black broke it up by gouging at Cody’s eyes. Cody came back with an enziguiri, but Black took down Cody with a leg sweep and locked on a single-leg crab.

Cody surprised Black by going for Cross Rhodes, but Black fought out. Cody climbed the ropes, but Black kicked out his leg, sending him flying down through the timekeeper’s table. Cody barely made it back into the ring for the 10-count. Black then hit his spinning heel kick (formerly Black Mass) to pin Cody in about four minutes.

    – After the match, Schiavone walked to the ring to interview Cody. Cody talked about his early memories and goals in wrestling. He said he’s had so much fun in wrestling. He talked about starting AEW and how people laughed at he and the Elite for starting it. Now, AEW isn’t “alternative,” they’re competition.

Cody’s been lucky, and he loves those EVPs and he will forever be tethered to them. “With all respect to Daily’s Place, to me, this is the AEW Amphitheatre. There is no better place.” He thanked the fans as they have made his life special.

Stunningly, Cody then took off his boots and saluted the audience. Black then returned and took out Cody with a crutch he had been using. He stood over Cody to end the show.

    Show Report —

MJF joined commentary for this match.

Chris Jericho defeated Shawn Spears (w/ Tully Blanchard)

The rule was that Spears, whose nickname is the “Chairman,” can use a chair, but Jericho can’t. This was the first “labor of Jericho.”

Jericho knocked the chair out of Spears’ hands and took him down with a running forearm. Spears got some offense in, but Jericho tossed him over the top and then sent him to the floor, where Jericho whipped him into the barricade. Jericho grabbed the camera from the ringside cameraman and celebrated.

Spears grabbed a chair from under the ring and cut off a Jericho springboard. He targeted Jericho’s injured left arm. Jericho came back with an enziguiri and went to the top rope, but Spears popped up and took Jericho down to the mat. Spears continued to attack Jericho’s arm.

Jericho avoided a corner splash and took down Spears with a shoulder tackle. He landed a double sledge off the top rope. Jericho propped Spears up in the corner and landed ten punches before hitting a top-rope Frankensteiner. He ran into a Spears thrust kick for two.

Spears countered running offense into a spinebuster for two. He went outside for another chair and smacked it over Jericho’s back. He set up to smash it over Jericho’s head, but Jericho took him down and locked on the Walls of Jericho. Spears fought to reach the ropes, but Jericho brought it back into the center of the ring.

Tully distracted the official as Spears frantically tapped. Sammy Guevara ran out and sent Tully packing, but Spears grabbed a chair and whacked Jericho with it. He then hit the C4, but Jericho kicked out — the first time the C4 was kicked out of in AEW. Spears set up to hit a chair-assisted C4, but Jericho escaped and hit the Judas Effect for the win.

    – MJF immediately grabbed a mic and said that Jericho’s not allowed to have anyone come out and help him anymore.

Next week, Jericho will have a No Disqualification match against indie stalwart Nick Gage for Labor #2. Gage showed up and got a major reaction.

A brief Miro video played. The most notable part is that he was wearing a Bloodsport jacket.

Doc Gallows (w/ Karl Anderson) defeated Frankie Kazarian

Kazarian went right at Gallows in the corner and followed it up with a missile dropkick. Gallows came back with a big boot as he established the advantage in the match. He whipped Kazarian to the floor, where the latter fell victim to a cheap shot from Anderson leading into the commercial break.

Once back, Kazarian avoided some shots and took Gallows down with a clothesline and a back suplex. A springboard leg drop followed for two. Anderson got involved again but was taken out with a leg bulldog. The distraction was enough for Gallows to hit a right hand and a sit-out tree slam for the win.

    – After the match, Anderson attacked and the Good Brothers hit Kazarian with the Magic Killer.

Omega’s music played, and he walked out with Don Callis. He said that attacking Kazarian was a message: “This is what happens when you mess with The Elite.” Omega said that Kazarian had been a thorn in their side for months. “The Elite Hunter has become, uh, the Elite Hunted.”

Hangman Page’s music played and he came out with a beer in hand. Callis pointed out that the Elite have the four-on-one numbers advantage and asked if Page was stupid or drunk. Page struck but was immediately taken out by the Good Brothers. The Dark Order ran out to even the odds. Page hit a Buckshot Lariat on Anderson.

A Team Taz video played where Taz said he was proud of Ricky Starks for winning the FTW Championship. Starks said that they’d have a championship celebration the following week.

Brian Cage was interviewed about it. He said the celebration works out, because he loves celebrations.

    **********

Darby Allin (w/ Sting) defeated Wheeler YUTA (w/ Orange Cassidy)

Allin had heavily taped ribs after last week’s Coffin Match with Ethan Page. They performed some chain wrestling to start. NJPW’s Hikuleo, the son of Haku, was shown in the crowd.

YUTA targeted Allin’s midsection, striking it with a thrust kick and dropping him over the ropes. Allin came back briefly, but YUTA pulled him off the ropes and locked on an octopus hold. After Allin escaped, YUTA hit a German suplex bridge for two.

Allin pulled YUTA off the ropes and hit a superplex. Sting and Orange faced off outside the ring and did some Orange schtick. YUTA tried to take advantage with a cradle, but Allin hit a stunner and the Coffin Drop for the quick win.

    – The Blade attacked Orange after the match with brass knuckles. They’re supposed to wrestle one on one later tonight.

A video package aired recapping Jon Moxley and Lance Archer’s previous matches. Archer said he’d knock Moxley’s ass out. Moxley said “one way or another, it’s over.”

A video recapped the Baker vs. Rose feud.

AEW Women’s Championship: Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (c) (w/ Rebel) defeated Nyla Rose (w/ Vickie Guerrero)

This was Baker’s first defense of her championship. The crowd adores her but the action and layout here were not good.

She took Rose to the mat early on with a targeted attack on Rose’s left arm. Rose powered out but was rolled up for two. She caught a running attack from Baker and hit a press slam followed by a running senton. Rose perched Baker over the top rope, but Rebel pulled her off as Baker flatlined Rose into the turnbuckle.

Baker dominated throughout the break, meaning Rose essentially worked babyface in this match. Once back, Rose overpowered Baker and hit a backbreaker fallaway slam combination. Baker avoided a corner cannonball and hit a sling blade. She backslid Rose for a near fall, but Rose’s shoulder was up. The crowd thought it was three.

Rebel handed Baker the glove. Rose went for a chokeslam, but Baker rolled out of it for a two-count cradle. Baker tried for the Lockjaw, but Rose powered out and hit a Death Valley driver. She followed it up with her diving draping leg drop for a good near fall. Baker came back with two thrust kicks for two. Rose came back with a chokeslam for two.

Baker kind of hit a crucifix bomb for two. She then sloppily rolled Rose up for two more, following it up with two curb stomps for yet another near fall. Rose leveled Baker with a forearm strike, leading two a double down. Rebel distracted the official and tossed Baker the belt, who summarily did the Eddie Guerrero feint. Rose tossed the belt back to Baker before hitting the Beast Bomb for a close near fall.

Rose went for another Beast Bomb, but Baker countered out and floated over into the Lockjaw, forcing Rose to submit.

Tony Schiavone moderated a press conference between FTR and Santana & Ortiz. Harwood was insistent that they were the same. Ortiz said that FTR’s just a pit stop on the way to tag team gold. Santana produced photos from his childhood and upbringing, talking about his mother. Harwood said the only thing left to do was show up and beat their ass. They will wrestle next week.

Andrade El Idolo / Death Triangle segment

Andrade El Idolo was brought out by Tony Schiavone. He has a surprise for everyone. Schiavone introduced Andrade’s new “executive consultant,” Chavo Guerrero. Chavo said this is the place to be. With all due respect, he doesn’t see anybody with as much talent as Andrade.

Death Triangle’s music hit as all three came out with Alex Abrahantes. PAC said they heard Andrade bring them up last week. The Death Triangle hides from nobody. Andrade thanked them for coming. Loud “Cero miedo!” chants.

Andrade said some words in Spanish. Chavo translated for PAC. The Death Triangle is all talented, and they should be holding championships. If they want to change that, listen to Andrade.

“One question,” from Andrade. “Why do you work for PAC? Why not work for Andrade El Idolo?” PAC said that Penta and Fénix don’t work for him. The Death Triangle are family. Fénix said they were the real faces of Latinos. Penta said something, and Alex translated: “Penta says, ‘Why would we want to join a group with you when you’re not even on our level?'”

Death Triangle rushed the ring. Andrade told them to relax and the referee core came out to separate them.

Orange Cassidy vs. The Blade (w/ The Bunny)

Orange surprised Blade after the attack earlier tonight. Blade fled to the floor and caught Orange upon re-entry to the ring. Orange took Blade down and laid in strikes. Blade acted like he was injured in the corner as Bunny checked on him. Blade surprised Orange and took him down, but Orange countered a suplex into a stunner.

They fought on the top rope, where Blade hit an insane gutwrench powerbomb on the top turnbuckle, leading to a break. Once back, a diving crossbody and satellite DDT from Orange got two. Bunny tried to get involved, but Kris Statlander stopped her. Orange went to hit Blade with a tope, but Blade pulled Statlander in the way. Orange then pushed Blade into Bunny.

Back in the ring, Blade caught a satellite DDT and dropped Orange over the top rope. A running lariat and spinning tombstone piledriver followed for two. Blade went for the Doctor Bomb, but Orange fought out and hit the Beach Break for two. Bunny distracted the official and tossed the brass knuckles to Blade, but Orange avoided a strike and hit the Orange Punch for the win.

    – After the match, Orange grabbed the brass knuckles and hit another Orange Punch on Blade.

IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Texas Deathmatch: Lance Archer defeated Jon Moxley (c)

Awesome hardcore main event with a hometown winner. This was no disqualification Last Man Standing rules.

Moxley went right after Archer before the bell and immediately grabbed a kendo stick. He repeatedly whacked Archer with it, but Archer shrugged off the shots. They traded forearms in the center of the ring before Archer cut Moxley off with a pounce followed by a running cannonball senton to the floor. Moxley sent Archer through a barricade with a running shoulder tackle.

They fought up into the stands and crowd. Moxley leapt off a structure and struck Archer, but Archer shrugged it off and used a planted fan as a weapon on Moxley. Back in the ring, Archer cut off a tope suicida with a forearm before exposing the concrete floor. Moxley fought out of a hold and planted Archer on the floor with a Paradigm Shift.

Archer was busted open. Moxley produced a fork and repeatedly stabbed at Archer’s face. During the break, Moxley set up tables on the outside. Once back, Moxley wrapped a chair around Archer’s leg and landed a diving stomp. Moxley tried to follow it up with a trash can lid shot but Archer punched it into Moxley’s face.

They traded right hands. Moxley bit at Archer’s face, but Archer fired up and went for a ripcord lariat. Moxley hit a release German, but Archer hit a big boot and a ripcord Black Hole slam. Archer set up chairs and went to hit a Blackout through them. Moxley fought out and hit a low blow, but Archer popped up and chokeslammed Moxley through the chairs.

Moxley made it up at an eight count and countered a running attack with a big lariat followed by a Paradigm Shift. Archer popped up at four and flipped off Moxley, but Moxley stabbed at Archer’s head with the fork once again. He produced barbed wire boards and propped them up on the tables outside. Moxley went for the Paradigm Shift through the boards and tables, which is how he originally won the title. Archer fought out using the fork and chokeslammed Moxley through the tables. Moxley couldn’t make it up for the 10 count and Archer won the championship for the second time.

    – After the match, Archer and HIkuleo faced off. Hikuleo dwarfed Archer, which was an awesome visual.

IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship: Jon Moxley (c) (w/ Eddie Kingston) defeated Karl Anderson (w/ Doc Gallows)

The crowd was out of their minds for Moxley. This was a very good opener with some cool intensity.

Kingston attacked Gallows with a pipe before the match, and Moxley took advantage of the distraction to strike Anderson. With the match under way, both men exchanged a quick strike before Anderson called for a fight. They exchanged forearms in the center of the ring. Anderson looked to get the advantage, but Moxley fired up and clotheslined Anderson out of the ring.

Anderson was sent into the barricade before he blocked a suplex on the ramp and hit one on Moxley. They brawled in the ringside area before Moxley returned the action to the ring. Anderson hit a Gun Stun over the ropes upon re-entry and booted Moxley back to the floor. Back in the ring, Anderson hit his signature spinebuster for two.

They fought on the top rope, where Moxley hit a superplex. A counter exchange saw Moxley hit a German, Anderson hit a big boot, and Moxley come back with a clothesline. They hit simultaneous clotheslines, leading to a double down. They did another New Japan-style counter exchange, with Anderson hitting an Air Raid crash for two.

Anderson landed a diving neckbreaker for another near fall. He fought out of a Paradigm Shift and shrugged off a discus forearm to hit a Gun Stun, but was too beaten down to make a cover. Moxley fired up and hit corner clotheslines, but Anderson caught him with a fireman’s carry turned into a Gun Stun for a good near fall.

Moxley countered a top-rope Gun Stun with a ripcord lariat, then hit the Paradigm Shift to win and retain.

Taz joined commentary for the match.

FTW Championship: Ricky Starks defeated Brian Cage (c) to win the championship

There were multiple loud “Ricky” chants for the Texas native. Cage hit a press slam right away, manhandling Starks from the start. He hit a powerslam for two. Starks avoided a corner attack and targeted Cage’s left arm into a commercial break. Once back, Starks hit a crucifix bomb for two.

Starks rolled to the floor and grabbed the title, but Cage booted him and drove Starks’ shoulder into the ring apron. Starks used evasive maneuvers and hit a clothesline. Back in the ring, Cage fought out of a rear naked choke and hit an inside-out suplex, but Starks got his foot on the rope.

Cage countered a swinging DDT with a thrust kick for two. He went for the outside-in suplex, but Starks countered it and hit a sit-out powerbomb for a good near fall. Starks was about to use the FTW belt, but Powerhouse Hobbs stopped him from doing so. Cage took advantage of the distraction and hit an F5 for a great near fall.

HOOK distracted the referee, Hobbs hit Cage with the belt, and Starks hit the spear to win the FTW championship.

    – Taz celebrated with Starks, Hobbs and HOOK.

Cody Rhodes & Malakai Black brawl

Cody Rhodes walked out to commentary as the announcers recapped Malakai Black’s debut. He said Black could have just called, because we don’t kick a 62-year-old man in the face to get our point across. He then grabbed a microphone and walked to the ring.

He doesn’t win every fight, but he has a chance when he knows it’s coming. Cody called out Black. Black showed up on the big screen, pointing out the fans cheered loudly when he attacked Cody and Arn. He told a story about a man killing a horse because it was crippled.

Black said when he looked Cody and Arn in the eyes last week, it just wasn’t there. Cody fired up and demanded Black come down and fight. The lights went out, and Black showed up in the ring face to face with Cody. They brawled all over, with officials and agents coming out to break it. Loud “Let them fight!” chants.

    Hangman Page speaks

Hangman Page was introduced by Tony Schiavone. Schiavone said that Omega vs. Page was what the fans wanted to see. Page always wanted to be AEW World Champion, and he came close, but he failed. The Dark Order is right: he still needs that championship. He was about to challenge Omega, but Don Callis interrupted.

Callis and the rest of the Elite (sans Omega) walked out. He said Page was just doing a lot of talking. They said Page isn’t that guy. Matt Jackson entered the ring, asking if Page remembered them, his best friends that he abandoned. Page is a sad, lonely drunk who nas nobody to blame but himself. Matt then said Page was going to be the next wrestling tragedy.

Page struck Matt, leading the Elite to attack. Omega appeared and was about to hit Page with the championship, but the Dark Order ran out and stopped him. Page said he’s not leaving without a match. Omega agreed, but upped the ante: a five-on-five elimination match between the Dark Order and the Elite. Page said that when he wins, he wants a world title shot, and he wants the Dark Order to get a tag title shot.

Super loud “cowboy shit” chant. Omega entered the ring alone and said he’d entertain Page’s idea, but if Page and the Dark Order lose, he can’t challenge Omega. Omega asked if Page was afraid to fail in front of his fans. He’s going to take an extra measure of pleasure when “cowboy shit” turns into “belt collector.” If Page is cool with that, so is he. Page said the Dark Order doesn’t back down from a fight: “You are on!”

    **********

Chris Jericho was interviewed about MJF’s stipulations to earn another match. Jericho said that if MJF read all the Greek mythology, he’d know that when Hercules succeeded, he got everything he wanted. Jericho will walk through fire or run across broken glass to get to MJF. Jericho’s the god of thunder and war in AEW.

Shawn Spears attacked Jericho with a chair and MJF said Spears was Jericho’s first labor. The stipulation is that Spears can use a chair and Jericho can’t. Spears hit Jericho with the chair again as MJF walked off.

    Christian Cage defeated Matt Hardy

The story here was that Christian had never beaten Hardy one-on-one and is undefeated.

No Hardy Family Offices out there with Hardy. They locked up forever, like a full minute, falling all the way to the floor. Christian attacked upon re-entry to the ring and sent Hardy into the barricade before hitting a crazy dive from the top turnbuckle to the floor, almost like a double axe handle. Back in the ring, Christian hit his reverse DDT for two.

Christian landed ten blows in the corner. Hardy caught Christian between the ropes and hit a draping DDT on the steel steps. He catapulted Christian’s throat into the ropes and hit a diving elbow drop for two ahead of a commercial break.

Once back, Christian avoided a dive and floated over with a rope-hang right hand. He followed it up with a diving uppercut for two. Hardy went for the Twist of Fate, but Christian fought out and hit a spear for a good near fall. He then hit a neckbreaker over the ropes, followed by a frog splash for another near fall.

Hardy perched Christian on the top rope and peppered him with right hands followed by a superplex. Hardy was too slow to cover and only got two. Christian cradled Hardy for two and went for the Killswitch, but Hardy grabbed the referee and hit a low blow. Hardy followed it up with the Twist of Fate for a close near fall.

They rolled to the floor, where Hardy locked on the Leech, his new submission finisher. Hardy rolled back into the ring as the referee counted, with Christian making it back in the ring at nine. Christian countered the Twist of Fate into the Killswitch for the pin.

    – After the match, Hardy Family Offices (Private Party & TH2) surrounded the ring, but Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus ran out to make the save.

    Britt Baker promo

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. was brought out by Schiavone. He said everyone was concerned about Baker’s well-being. Baker said don’t worry about it, she’s dealt with a lot and came out the baddest bitch on the block. What’s daunting is trying to keep Nyla Rose relevant. Rose has beaten Baker, but Baker’s in a league of her own.

Rose and Vickie Guerrero were shown backstage. Baker said Vickie has a last name that will keep her relevant in wrestling, but Rose doesn’t. With the championship, Baker’s the hottest promo in professional wrestling, but even without it, she’s still “D.M.D.”

Backstage, Rose said next week, she’d hand Baker the ass-whooping of her life.

    **********

Jon Moxley was backstage. One does not beat Lance Archer, one simply survives Lance Archer. Moxley isn’t the hunted, he’s the hunter. Archer wants Texas Death Part 2? Next week, Archer won’t just be Texas-born and Texas-bred, he’ll be Texas dead.

They performed a chain wrestling sequence as Guevara missed two moonsaults before hitting a running shooting star press for two. Guevara climbed to the top rope, but YUTA got the knees up on the shooting star press.

YUTA fought back from a hammer throw with a step-up dropkick. Guevara hit a forearm smash, but YUTA came back with a German suplex. YUTA followed it up with a diving splash, but Guevara kicked out at one. They exchanged strikes until Guevara hit a corner spear, gamenguiri, and a double springboard cutter. The GTH followed from Guevara for the win in about five minutes.

A dropkick followed, sending Ford to the floor. Sakazaki landed a middle-rope cannonball dive before bringing Ford into the ring for a cover. Ford took out Sakazaki’s knee and choked her over the ropes ahead of the commercial.

They were having a forearm strike exchange upon return from the break. Sakazaki powered Ford up for a nice vertical suplex. She hit a rolling kick and a sliding D for two, then a diving back elbow for two more. Ford fought out of a suplex and hit two pump kicks for two. The coffin got an entrance.

Coffin Match: Darby Allin defeated Ethan Page

The rules are that the coffin must close around a competitor for the match to end.

Allin attacked before the bell. He took off his jacket to reveal a steel plate on his back, hitting a Coffin Drop for good measure. Allin then landed a crushing tope suicida.

Scorpio Sky popped out of the coffin and blindsided Allin, then Sting came out to even the odds. Sting repeatedly sent Sky into the barricade. The camera missed it, but Sting missed a Stinger Splash in the fan area. Sky celebrated on a railing, so Sting summarily dropped him over it and smacked him with a trash can.

Page was sent into the audience, leading to a commercial. During the break, Allin jumped off a railing, but Page caught him. The steel steps were introduced to the fight, and Page dropped Allin over them. Allin briefly escaped the onslaught and dove at Page, but Page tackled him down.

Before the break, Page had taken the bottom rope apart. He hooked Allin’s neck with the corner hook. Allin came back by fishhooking Page’s mouth with the hook. He then dropkicked Page into the coffin. They exchanged strikes in the coffin. Page hit strong right hand slaps, but Allin then bit Page’s hand. Page backdropped Allin to the floor and broght the fight back to the ring.

Page was busted open at this point. He went for a fireman’s carry throw from the top of the stairs, but Allin fought out and hit a stunner. Page cut off a Coffin Drop attempt and hit an avalanche Ego’s Edge onto the steel steps. Allin countered an apron suplex by gouging at Page’s eyes and biting at his face. Allin then picked up the skateboard and hit a skateboard-assisted stomp, sending Page into the coffin.

Allin then closed the coffin on Page to win the match.

    – After the match, Allin hit a Coffin Drop through the top of the coffin onto Page inside, which was a great-looking spot.

South Beach Strap Match: Cody Rhodes (w/ Arn Anderson) defeated QT Marshall (w/ Aaron Solow & Nick Comoroto)

Aside from the odd blackout in the middle, this was a very enjoyable strap match and a good way to kick off the show.

This was a four-corner touch rules strap match. Marshall didn’t get a televised entrance.

Marshall tried to stall before the bell, so Cody attacked with a tope suicida. They strapped up and the bell rang. Cody immediately hit the drop-down right hand before choking Marshall with the strap. Marshall tossed Cody onto the ramp, but Cody pulled him into the ropes. Cody then used the ropes to assist on a powerslam. Jorge Masvidal and Amanda Nunes were shown at ringside.

Cody whipped Marshall repeatedly with the strap. He exchanged words with Solow, who attacked (as it’s no disqualification), so Dustin Rhodes ran out, sending Solow into the front row and up into the stands. Marshall used the strap to hit Cody low, then whipped and choked him with it. Both men touched three turnbuckles consecutively, but a scramble for the fourth resulted in a German suplex from Marshall as the count reset.

Marshall went to keep up the beatdown on the floor, but Cody pulled Marshall into the ring post. Marshall was busted open. Cody touched three turnbuckles, but the lights bizarrely went out in the arena. Marshall used the distraction to beat Cody down and stop the count. They fought on the top rope, where Cody choked Marshall out. He went for a top-rope Frankensteiner, which Marshall countered into a powerbomb.

Cody stopped Marshall from touching all four turnbuckles, so Marshall hit a Diamond Cutter. Marshall touched three, but Cody forced an interruption and was met with a whipping for his effort. Cody fired up and demanded that Marshall hit him before making his comeback and running wild with strikes. He hit the Cody Cutter in the center of the ring.

Arn called for the end. Cody hit three, Marshall tried to interrupt it, so Cody just low blowed him. He spit in Cody’s face and received three Cross Rhodes for his efforts, allowing Cody to touch all four turnbuckles for the win.

Shawn Spears cut a promo. He addressed Sammy Guevara, saying it was Guevara’s ego that got him in trouble last week. He was interrupted by a chair thrown by Guevara, who said “this is far from over.”

Kenny Omega & Hangman Page promo

Kenny Omega and Don Callis were introduced by Tony Schiavone. Callis immediately took the mic and told Schiavone to get lost. He’s going to give Miami a history lesson, but was interrupted by “You got fired!” chants. Callis moved down the list of AEW World Championship challengers that Omega had beaten. All the fans are in the shadow with the God of pro wrestling.

Unfortunately, there’s a problem: they’ve beaten everybody. “We want Hangman” chants, then the Dark Order’s music played. Evil Uno led the Dark Order out and said he had a few questions for Omega. Uno wants to know why they’re ignoring the crowd, and why Omega’s afraid of his friend. “Cowboy Shit” chants.

Omega asked Uno what the capital of Thailand is and low-blowed him. “It’s Bangkok, baby.” The Good Brothers and Michael Nakazawa came out and attacked the Dark Order. Hangman Page’s music played, and he ran out, fighting off both Good Brothers. Omega was alone in the ring, and Page was in perfect position for the Buckshot Lariat, but he didn’t hit it.

They faced off in the center of the ring. A Karl Anderson distraction allowed Omega to escape to the ramp.

Darby Allin & Ethan Page interview w/ Jim Ross

JR was uncomfortable because both of these men have talked about ending the other’s career. Page didn’t see anything wrong with it. Allin said Page was angry about how much Allin had accomplished in such a short time. He said Page was complacent as a big fish in a little pond, and that Allin made it to AEW before Page angered him.

Page said that he plucked Allin from obscurity. He brought Allin in and up from professional wrestling. Next week, in the Coffin match, he’s going to take Allin out. JR closed by saying he doesn’t have a good feeling about the situation.

The Pinnacle (Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, & Wardlow) (w/ Tully Blanchard) defeated The Inner Circle (Santana, Ortiz, & Jake Hager) (w/ Konnan)

Santana and Harwood teed off on each other from the opening bell. Santana went for the Three Amigos, opting for a German suplex on the third. Ortiz tagged in, they hit a double team, and then a Northern Lights suplex followed for two. Wheeler caught an Ortiz leapfrog and hit a powerslam before tagging in Wardlow who hit a gutwrench powerbomb for two.

Harwood tagged in, but Ortiz caught him with a powerbomb and tagged in Hager. Hager hit the Hager bomb and sent the Pinnacle packing into the break. During commercial, the Pinnacle regained control when Harwood flapjacked Santana onto the top rope.

Once back, a cutter allowed Santana to reach Ortiz for the hot tag. The Inner Circle worked together to take out Wheeler, but Wardlow ran in to break up a pin attempt. An FTR double team sequence on Ortiz got two. Ortiz countered a vertical suplex with one of his own and tagged in Hager, who ran wild on everyone.

Wheeler countered the Hager Bomb, so Hager locked on the ankle lock. Harwood broke it up, but ran into a big boot. Hager called for Wardlow, who tagged in. They traded right hands in the center of the ring. Hager escaped out of a suplex and went for the ankle lock, but FTR entered the ring on a distraction from Tully, hitting the Big Rig for an out-of-nowhere win.

    – Konnan attacked Wardlow after the match, but Tully chop blocked him from behind.

Karl Anderson cut a promo. He said Jon Moxley had been a big problem for the Good Brothers. He then challenged Moxley to an IWGP United States Championship match for next week, Fyter Fest Night 1.

Chris Jericho & MJF Face-to-Face Standoff

Somebody ran into the ring during Jericho’s entrance. Unsure if it was a plant or not, but if it was, it was very convincing.

MJF dared anyone in the crowd to try that. He said Jericho’s here groveling for one more match, saying it’s “sad.” But it’s understandable, because everyone wants a piece of the king of AEW. Jericho said he should’ve let that fat bastard come into the ring and beat MJF’s ass.

Jericho said he’d accept any stipulation MJF put in front of him, including “having sex with your mother… again.” MJF said Jericho wouldn’t rattle him, because that’s what the people want, and he doesn’t care what they want. He used to look up to Jericho, following every step of his career, including the Jon Moxley feud. Jericho made Moxley wrestle every person in the Inner Circle, and MJF’s gonna take that blueprint and make it better.

MJF loved Greek mythology growing up and his favorite story was the “Labors of Hercules.” Jericho’s going to have five labors. The first four will be opponents of MJF’s choosing with unique stipulations, and Jericho will have to win them all back to back to back to back. The fifth is MJF, and when he beats Jericho a third time, maybe he’ll learn MJF’s better than him and he knows it.

Jericho accepted, because he’s the god of battle, the god of thunder, and the god of war in AEW. He’s going to beat MJF and ruin his life. “That ain’t no mythology.” Jericho then signed the agreement.

MJF stopped Jericho from leaving, saying a deal is not done until both parties shake hands. He demanded Jericho shake his hand, or the deal’s off. Jericho shook MJF’s hand, wouldn’t let go, and pulled him in for a Judas Effect.

Britt Baker was with Rebel backstage. She said the only positive that came out of last week’s match was that it was another win for Baker, but an innocent person (Rebel) was hurt. She talked about ratings, and the match only happened so Vickie Guerrero could bring AEW Andrade.

Baker told Tony Khan to enjoy his blood money, saying maybe next AEW could run a show in Saudi Arabia. Nyla Rose is never getting her title back. Baker’s not just sending Rose to the back of the line, she’s sending her back to obscurity. They’re going to call Dallas the big “D.M.D.”

    **********

Andrade El Idolo (w/ Vickie Guerrero) defeated Matt Sydal

This was a decent debut for Andrade, but he has yet to set himself apart in AEW.

Andrade wrestled in dress pants. Sydal tried to roll him up early on but was met with a twisting suplex. They fought on the top rope and Andrade sent Sydal to the mat. Andrade went for a top-rope moonsault, Sydal rolled out of the way, but Andrade sprung up for another moonsault. Sydal picked out Andrade’s leg and hit a jumping sole butt. He climbed to the top, where Andrade pushed him to the floor ahead of the break.

Sydal avoided a corner knee and turned around with a spinning heel kick. He laid in more kicks, including a nice question mark kick, before rolling Andrade up for two. Andrade decked Sydal with a lariat and went to the top rope. Sydal met him at the top, Andrade picked his legs and went for the diving stomp. Sydal avoided it and hit a meteora for two.

Andrade came back with running knees in the corner and hit his hammerlock DDT, which he’s now calling El Idolo, for the win.

    – After the match, Andrade tied up Sydal’s arm in a belt and wrenched on it.

    **********

A dueling Christian and Matt Hardy video promo played. Christian always got the better of Hardy throughout the years, but Hardy was upset about Christian betraying his trust at Double or Nothing. Christian told Hardy to get on his level, or get the hell out of the way. They will have a match at Fyter Fest Night 1.

    **********

Malakai Black (formerly Aleister Black/Tommy End) debut

This was an awesome, simple debut, so much better than anything Andrade’s done yet.

Arn Anderson was with Schiavone in the ring. Arn said it was great to be in Miami. He was interrupted with another blackout like the one in the Cody match. When the lights came back on, Aleister Black/Tommy End was in the ring. He hit Black Mass, his spinning heel kick, on Arn. Cody ran out and stared him down, but was met with a Black Mass of his own.

Excalibur announced him as “Malakai Black,” and he left Cody and Arn laying as the segment ended.

    **********

They recapped a taped segment from earlier where Ricky Starks cut a promo on Brian Cage. Taz came out to shut it down, but then Cage came out and beat down Starks’ security. This was oddly put together and difficult to recap.

    **********

Orange Cassidy & Kris Statlander defeated The Blade & The Bunny

This was chaotic and the rules were optional. It was the second intergender match in Dynamite history, after Cody/Red Velvet vs. Shaq/Jade Cargill. No intergender wrestling, the men must wrestle the men and vice versa, not that AEW bothers to follow those rules.

Loud “freshly squeezed” chants right away. Orange did some schtick with Bunny, then the match officially began. Blade countered Orange’s tornado DDT with a powerslam. Orange countered the follow-up into a stunner before the women tagged in.

Bunny hit a knee lift, but Statlander came back with a powerslam. Statlander hit a long delayed vertical suplex. Bunny rolled out of the way of a senton and Blade grabbed Statlander’s boot, allowing Bunny to take control ahead of the break. Once back, Statlander hit a Falcon Arrow for two. She climbed to the top rope, but Blade distracted Statlander by attacking Orange, allowing Bunny to hit a German suplex.

Blade tagged in, hoping for a countout on Orange. Statlander goaded Blade into an attack, then Orange made his way back into the ring with a crossbody and a tornado DDT for two. Statlander hit Area 541 on Blade, but Bunny pulled Orange out of the ring on the pin. Blade produced brass knuckles and rocked Orange with a right hand, but Statlander had made a tag. Statlander pushed Bunny into Blade and hit the Big Bang Theory for the win.

Earlier today, AEW officials awarded Jungle Boy with a trophy for becoming the first roster member to reach 50 victories.

Schiavone was ringside with Dan Lambert, who was also there with Jorge Masvidal and Amanda Nunes. He moved into the ring and started cutting a promo about being skeptical about AEW, because AEW sucks. He started talking about old-school wrestlers and how they were so much better.

He talked about what Tony Khan did to put over the company, saying AEW has tons of styles and varying levels of experience, from legends to up-and-coming stars. Lance Archer, flanked by Jake Roberts, ran out and decked him before hitting the Blackout.

Not sure why this needed to make TV.

Don Callis joined commentary for the main event.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Street Fight: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) (w/ Brandon Cutler) defeated Eddie Kingston & Penta El Zero Miedo

Kingston was wearing a Terry Funk shirt. The Young Bucks accidentally superkicked Michael Nakazawa early on after the latter tried to help them. Kingston and Penta sent them into the barricade for their trouble. They cornered Cutler in the ring, but the Bucks attacked them with chairs before they could do anything. Kingston and Penta turned the tables and dropped both Bucks onto the chair.

Penta hit his diving dropkick to Matt’s posterior, this time through a chair. They brought out tables. Penta tried to send Nick into a table, but Nick stopped him. Nick also stopped Kingston from superplexing his brother onto a table and powerbombed Kingston onto it himself. Penta hit a running destroyer on Matt through a table at ringside.

Nick soccer kicked a trash can into Penta’s face ahead of the break. There was plenty of good action during the commercial, including Kingston being sent through a table – way more than AEW usually allows. Once back, Nick hit a senton bomb through a trash can onto Kingston for two. Penta hit a thrust kick and sling blades on both Bucks before a lungblower senton combination.

The Bucks overwhelmed Penta with the numbers, hitting a Northern Lights suplex. They then hit a cannonball enziguiri combination on Kingston seated in the corner. The Bucks set up for More Bang For Your Buck, but their opponents broke it up with a thrust kick, a half-and-half suplex, and a DDT. Kingston locked on a sleeper, but Nick hit a 450 splash on the official as Matt tapped frantically.

The Good Brothers slinked out and teed off on Kingston, but Penta took them both out with a tope con giro. Penta went for Fear Factor, but Matt flipped out of it and speared Kingston. Matt tried to get Cutler to spray Penta, but Frankie Kazarian appeared and powerbombed Cutler through a table. Penta and Kingston hit Fear Factor followed by the spinning backfist. They got a visual pin, but when an official finally ran out, Nick pulled him out of the ring on the count.

Kazarian attacked the Bucks, but the Good Brothers took him out with a Magic Killer. Kingston produced thumbtacks and Penta smacked Matt with a trash can. Penta and Nick fought on the top rope, with Nick hitting an avalanche hurricanrana on Penta, who landed on the tacks. Kingston broke up the cover at two. Matt had a bloody nose.

Kingston ate stereo superkicks, the Bucks threw tacks into Penta’s face, Matt put tacks in Kingston’s mouth, and Kingston ate a superkick as the Bucks covered and retained.

AEW Dynamite live results: MJF vs. Sammy Guevara

MJF and Sammy Guevara will square off in what has been advertised as the main event for tonight’s AEW Dynamite.

MJF’s The Pinnacle faction has been feuding with The Inner Circle for months. When MJF was a member of The Inner Circle, there was tension teased between Guevara and MJF the entire time.

Penta El Zero Miedo and Eddie Kingston will face AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks in a title eliminator match. Should Penta and Kingston win, they will be granted a title shot at The Bucks.

The TNT Championship will be on the line as Miro defends the title against Brian Pillman Jr. of Varsity Blonds.

AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker will team with Rebel against Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero. Rose will challenge Baker for her title on night two of Fyter Fest on July 21.

Jungle Boy vs. Jack Evans was announced for Dynamite yesterday.

Chris Jericho will be on commentary for tonight’s show.

Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

    Show Report —

Chris Jericho was on commentary for the show. He got a full “Judas” entrance at the show open.

Eddie Kingston & Penta El Zero Miedo (w/ Alex Abrahantes) defeated The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (w/ Brandon Cutler)

    This was a fantastic opener.

If Kingston & Penta win, they earn a tag title shot. They fought before the bell, and a couple quick cradles from Kingston got near falls. Penta hit his diving dropkick to Matt’s posterior. He wanted the Fear Factor DDT, but Matt shoved him into the Bucks’ corner and they took control with a double team cannonball enziguiri.

Penta slid to the outside and hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Matt before taking out Nick with a diving crossbody and tagging in Kingston. Kingston ran wild on the Bucks and hit a fisherman’s suplex on Nick for two. He hit the Kitchen Sink but was pulled to the floor, where he took out Matt with another suplex. Kingston turned around into a soccer kick from Nick.

The Bucks hit a double splash on Kingston on the floor and got a nice spray-down from Cutler. Back in the ring, the Bucks beat down Kingston with frequent tags. They hit repeated kicks to Kingston’s back, but Kingston fired up and laid in chops on both Bucks. They overwhelmed Kingston with the numbers advantage and hit a cheap shot on Penta on the apron.

Kingston fought out of a double team and left Nick stranded on the top rope. He laid in repeated headbutts and took Nick down with a superplex before reaching Penta for another hot tag. Penta used a cazadora to propel himself into a DDT before a Code Red got a close two. It almost looked like a mistake, like Matt didn’t get his shoulders up in time.

Matt fought out of the Fear Factor and tagged in Nick, who came in with a springboard hurricanrana. Nick went for the running bulldog, but Penta fought out. Kingston hit a German and Penta hit a backstabber, but Matt broke up the pin. Matt then took out Kingston with a crossbody on the ramp.

Penta and Nick exchanged strikes in the ring. The former hit a superkick and then caught one from Nick, but Nick hit a low blow when the official couldn’t see it. The Bucks went for the Lucha Bros’ diving Fear Factor finisher, but Kingston broke up the pin just in time for a great near fall.

Kingston hit an exploder on Nick, but ate a series of superkicks to take him out. Penta backdropped Nick to the floor and the Good Brothers distracted the official, but Penta avoided Cutler’s cold spray, who sprayed Matt instead. Kazarian came out and took out Cutler. Penta took out everyone with a tope con giro before the Fear Factor and spinning backfist allowed them to pick up the win.

    – Kingston and Penta acknowledged Kazarian after the match.

Christian Cage and Jungle Boy were backstage. Christian said he was proud of Jungle Boy and that he took him to the brink. He said Jungle Boy’s about to be the champion, but first, he’s going to become the first AEW wrestler to get 50 wins. Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt appeared, and the former thanked Christian for having Jungle Boy’s back. Luchasaurus now has Christian’s back.

Ethan Page interview with Tony Schiavone

The Men of the Year, Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page, were in the ring with Schiavone. Page was about to speak about why he chose a Coffin match, but was drowned out by boos after telling the crowd to “shut up.” He eventually said what he’s been doing is not enough. Page’s goal is to exterminate Darby Allin.

Allin keeps coming back after all these bumps, so crippling him physically isn’t an option anymore. The Coffin match is going to cripple Allin mentally. Every time Allin thinks about doing a Coffin Drop, he’s going to think of Page.

Sting’s music interrupted and he came out with a coffin. A video then played of Allin torching a coffin. Allin popped out of the coffin and attacked the Men of the Year. Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop on Sky and Allin gouged at Page’s eyes. Page rolled to the floor and said Allin knew he couldn’t beat Page at 100%. Page wants it in writing that Allin won’t touch him ahead of the match.

    **********

Before the match, Matt Hardy said he was sending Evans after Jungle Boy for stepping in Hardy’s business. He doesn’t care if Evans wins or loses, just that he hurts Jungle Boy. If you cross Hardy, you have to pay.

    Jungle Boy defeated Jack Evans

This was Jungle Boy’s 50th win in AEW, the most in the company.

They performed chain wrestling to start. Jungle Boy surprised Evans with the Snare Trap, but Evans quickly reached the ropes. Evans came back with a leaping kick, but Jungle Boy turned around an arm wringer with his rebound arm drag and a kip-up ahead of the break.

Once back, Jungle Boy hit a series of running offense including a running dropkick and a big lariat. He caught a spinning kick from Evans. They fought on the top rope, Evans slipped out, but Jungle Boy flipped out of a German suplex attempt and locked on the Snare Trap for the win.

    – After the match, Hardy Family Offices ran out, but Christian and the Jurassic Express made the save. Christian hit his reverse DDT on Hardy in the ring and choked him out with his suit jacket. Evans tried to get involved, but Christian fought him off.

    **********

It was announced that AEW is returning to Daily’s Place for an August 4th television special called “Homecoming.” Excalibur said it’d be the last time they’re at Daily’s Place for a long time.

    **********

MJF addressed Chris Jericho. He said he’s outclassed Jericho week after week, both in the ring and on the mic. He told Jericho to call it quits and listed all of Jericho’s transgressions against him. Jericho used to be so cool, and now he’s a joke. Next week, he will announce the list of stipulations that will give Jericho one last match with MJF.

In the meantime, MJF’s gonna take out his anger on Guevara. People have wanted to see this match for a long time to find out the “future of professional wrestling.” After tonight, they’ll say Guevara’s the future, because MJF is the “now.” “I’m better than you, and you know it.”

    **********

Andrade El Idolo was interviewed by Alex Abrahantes. He talked about Matt Sydal interrupting him last week and proposed they face each other in Miami at Road Rager.

    **********

Kenny Omega interview with Tony Schiavone

Kenny Omega was brought out by Schiavone. Like the rest of the Elite, he had ridiculous facial hair. Omega talked about how he stays motivated every day. Today he woke up feeling like a king because he has defeated all the biggest stars in AEW, and now the top young star in Jungle Boy last week. He said with nobody left, he’s going to take time off.

The Dark Order interrupted. Evil Uno said he thinks Omega has a challenger. Omegaa was dismissive, and Uno said he’s right, because nobody in the Dark Order has enough singles wins. But he has somebody in mind: the #1-ranked singles competitor in all of AEW, implying Hangman Page.

Omega said Page wouldn’t appreciate Uno speaking on behalf of him, and he doesn’t have the guts. He doesn’t think he has the right to take this belt. Omega did his “good-bye and good night” ending with no Hangman Page.

    **********

Brian Pillman Jr. was backstage. He told Miro to forgive him for not believing the same things as him because he didn’t have a lot of faith growing up. This is Pillman going out there to prove that Miro is nothing but a big bully and a big Bulgarian bitch.

TNT Championship: Miro (c) defeated Brian Pillman Jr.

This was a fun title match and yet another dominant victory for Miro.

Pillman went right after Miro at the start, but Miro turned a ripcord into a Samoan Drop. Miro effortlessly beat Pillman down with strikes and throws. Pillman got a couple strikes but was crushed with a fallaway slam for his trouble, leading to a commercial break.

Once back, Miro landed nine clubbing blows, but Pillman countered the tenth. A springboard dropkick from Pillman sent Miro to the floor followed by a running diving dropkick. Pillman kept up the fight on the floor with reapeated strikes. Back in the ring, Pillman hit a springboard clothesline, but Miro kicked out at barely one.

Miro countered another springboard, but Pillman had it scouted and landed repeated thrust kicks. Miro caught one and hit his signature high kick and then another. He called for Game Over and locked it on, wrenching back and leading to the referee stoppage.

    **********

Hangman Page was upset with the Dark Order. He asked if they thought he was scared of Omega, but Colt Cabana said they think he’s scared of failure. John Silver said “win or lose, we always have your back.” They all hyped him up and Alex Reynolds said “this is your time.”

    **********

Taz was backstage with Hobbs and HOOK. He said Brian Cage and Ricky Starks weren’t here, and it’s been rough on them. On July 14th, it’s gonna get figured out as Cage defends the FTW Championship against a medically cleared Starks.

    **********

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. & Rebel defeated Nyla Rose & Vickie Guerrero

    This was horrendous.

Guerrero got in Rebel’s face with “Excuse me” before the bell, so Baker took her out. Rebel went for a sleeper on Rose, who fought out easily. Rose beat down Rebel in the ring ahead of a commercial break.

Once back, Rebel rolled up Rose for two and Baker made a tag, hitting a Sling Blade. Rose went for the Beast Bomb, but Baker flipped out and kicked Rose down. Baker got the glove but Rose hit a big chokeslam. Rose draped Baker over the ropes and hit the diving knee, but Rebel broke up the pin.

Guerrero tagged in and Rose went to the top rope, but Baker pushed Guerrero into Rose, sending her to the floor. Baker then locked on the Lockjaw on Guerrero, leading to the submission.

    – Rose attacked Baker after the match and hit the Beast Bomb. Guerrero set up a table and Rose powerbombed Baker through it to the floor.

Next week’s lineup for Road Rager:

Jake Hager said every time the Pinnacle sees them, one of two things happens: one, they get their ass whooped, or two, they get their ass whooped. Santana said they’d get their hands dirty. It’s gonna feel so much sweeter knowing FTR brought all the fight they can. They’re going to have Konnan in their corner. Ortiz just said “you messed up.”

    MJF defeated Sammy Guevara

This was on its way to being one of the better matches in Dynamite history until the finish.

MJF powdered to the floor right away. He came back in and took down Guevara with a shoulder tackle before taunting. Guevara evaded with a taunt of his own. They both had each other scouted, leading to some quick counters until MJF hit a cross chop to Guevara’s throat. Guevara came back with a knee strike, but MJF caught the GTH. They performed more chain wrestling before a series of cradles forced a break and a stalemate. That was a really cool opening sequence.

Guevara attacked in the corner, but when the official tried to break it up, MJF used the distraction to poke Guevara’s eyes. Guevara fought back and went for the 630 senton, but MJF rolled to the floor. Guevara pursued and back in the ring hit a double springboard cutter for two.

MJF swept out Guevara’s leg on the apron and sent him into the barricade on the floor, where Guevara hurt his knee. This led to a commercial break. Once back, Guevara went for a baseball slide, but MJF caught him in the ring skirt and attacked. Guevara fought out of a powerbomb and sent MJF back into the ring, but MJF turned a springboard into a powerbomb for two.

They fought on the top rope, where Guevara hit a Spanish Fly. Guevara made a comeback with clotheslines and an enziguiri followed by a diving kick. Guevara clotheslined MJF to the floor, skinned the cat, and hit a great tornillo dive. Back in the ring, Guevara hit a destroyer for two.

A leg-trap craadle from Guevara got two more. MJF guillotined Guevara over the top rope and grabbed a chair. Guevara dropkicked the chair into MJF’s face, knocking him into the stands. He followed it up with a top-rope senton bomb all the way to over the barricade into the audience in a great spot.

Guevara eventually rolled MJF back into the ring. He went for the 630 senton, but MJF popped up and pushed Guevara down using the ropes. He followed it up with a second-rope piledriver for two. MJF was clutching at his knee. After lots of waffling, MJF eventually made it to his feet, where he was cradled by Guevara for a good near fall.

MJF went for the Heatseeker, but Guevara pushed his way out of it. A sunset flip led to another cradle exchange. Guevara hit thrust kicks and then the GTH, but MJF’s foot was on the ropes. Guevara went for the 630 once again, but MJF begged off. Guevara hit it anyway for another great near fall.

Shawn Spears walked off, so Chris Jericho, who was on commentary, ran to cut him off. Wardlow attacked Jericho from behind and distracted the official while Spears crushed Guevara with a chair shot to the head. MJF just barely covered for the win.

MMA Cage Fight: Jake Hager (w/ Chris Jericho) defeated Wardlow (w/ Shawn Spears)

I loved this. It was completely unique and felt like a really big deal. Both men put in great performances.

This was a three-round fight with five minute rounds. Each fighter had a corner man. Fighters could only win by knockout or submission. It looked legit, octagon and all.

Neither man touched for the first minute. Wardlow pushed Hager against the cage. Hager went for a couple quick shots and landed two low kicks. He went for a double leg takedown but Wardlow gutwrenched him out with a quick throw. Hager came back and took Wardlow down, but released the hold and challenged Wardlow to fight.

Hager landed a second takedown and went for ground and pound, but Wardlow rolled out of it to separate. Wardlow caught another low kick and rocked Hager with a right hand before dumping him in the middle of the octagon. Hager escaped and both stood back up. They traded strikes, with Wardlow getting the advantage and landing a Superman punch. With the clock winding down, Wardlow tried to put Hager away, but round 1 ended before the stoppage.

The two men recovered with their corner men before the bell rang for round 2. Hager avoided a running knee and applied a waistlock, but Wardlow fought out with a wristlock, taking Hager down. Wardlow had the full mount and hit hammerfists before going for an armbar. Hager rolled through on the armbar and landed elbow stikes to Wardlow’s midsection before going for an armbar of his own.

Hager had a triangle applied, but Wardlow was just able to lift Hager up enough to break it. Hager transitioned into a standing ankle lock. Wardlow rocked Hager with an up kick and powerbombed him into the cage before hitting a running hurricanrana. Wardlow speared Hager down, but Hager countered into the head and arm choke. Wardlow slipped out before Hager fought out of a fireman’s carry and took Wardlow down with a uranage. He kept the head and arm choke applied as Wardlow flipped off Jericho, eventually passing out for the referee stoppage.

    – After the night, Spears attacked Hager. Jericho got involved, leading to an all-out brawl, before MJF ran out and attacked Jericho’s injured elbow with the Salt of the Earth. AEW official Dean Malenko ran out to stop the fight, but was decked by MJF. Sammy Guevara’s music played and he ran out, chasing MJF to the back.

2-on-1 handicap match: Men of the Year (Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky) defeated Darby Allin

Page started off. Allin outwrestled him with his quickness, forcing him to tag in Sky, who Allin rolled up quickly for a two count. Allin fought off both opponentus until Page caught a Coffin Drop, allowing Sky to take him down with a forearm smash. Allin arm-dragged his opponents into each other and took them down with a Coffin Drop. Page tagged in and leveled Allin with a shoulder tackle.

It looked like Page was going to toss Allin into the front row like at Double or Nothing, but Allin slapped on a sleeper. Page threw Allin into the corners as the Men of the Year took control ahead of the break. Once back, they hit repeated backbreakers on Allin until Allin surprised Page with a small package for two. Allin countered a backbreaker with a Scorpion Death Drop.

Page reached Sky for a tag, then Allin “tagged himself” in, running wild on Sky. He hit a Code Red, but Page broke up the pin and planted him with a uranage. Allin ziptied Page’s feet together and sent him to the floor before rolling Sky up for repeated near falls. The over-the-top stunner followed. Allin then hit the Coffin Drop, but Page pulled Allin out of the ring.

Outside the ring, Page cut the ziptie from around his legs and sent Allin into the ring post. He tagged into the match and propped Allin up for a superplex, but Allin bit his way out of it, sending Page to the mat. Sky pulled out Allin’s legs and Page hit the Ego’s Edge for the win.

A short video promo from the Wingmen aired before the match. Apparently Orange left them “on read.”

Orange Cassidy (w/ Best Friends) defeated Cezar Bononi (w/ The Wingmen)

Not sure what this was supposed to be.

Bononi attacked before the bell, then tossed Orange across the ring. Out on the floor, Nemeth sprayed Orange with self-tanner.  Back in the ring, Orange briefly got control, but Bononi sent Orange back to the floor, where the Wingmen put a jacket on him.

Orange tripped Bononi running the ropes, sending him to the floor, but the Wingmen caught a dive. Statlander distracted the referee while the Best Friends assisted Orange on a dive, taking out the Wingmen. Bononi caught the diving DDT, but Orange turned it into a stunner and a rolling DDT. Orange took out Nemeth and Drake with the Orange Punch before doing the same to Bononi for the win.

Jungle Boy was about to be interviewed by Alex Marvez, but Omega, Callis, and Nakazawa rolled up in a golf cart. Omega was without his expensive clothes and championships because Jungle Boy embarrassed him last week. He’s giving Jungle Boy a chance to make up for it with two knuckle sandwiches, trying to goad Jungle Boy into a fight. Jungle Boy said he’d prefer to beat Omega next week.

Omega offered a free punch, set up to do so, but Nakazawa attacked him with a laptop and Omega beat him up. Omega and Callis then escaped on a golf cart, leaving Nakazawa behind.

Cody Rhodes & Brock Anderson (w/ Arn Anderson) defeated The Factory (QT Marshall & Aaron Solow) (w/ Nick Comoroto)

This was a lot of fun and gave the debuting Brock a Dynamite win. Brock looked really solid considering his experience level.

Brock and Solow started off. Brock avoided a swing and backed himself into the wrong corner, getting some coaching from Cody for his trouble. Solow taunted Brock but was taken down, leading to more chain wrestling. Marshall tagged in, but Cody wanted in as well, so Marshall escaped back to the floor. Cody took him out with a suicide dive but Solow was the legal man, gaining control after a stomp.

Cody fought out of the corner and tagged in Brock, who hit repeated shoulder strikes in the corner. He dispatched Solow with a gutwrench, but Marshall took him down with a double-A spinebuster ahead of the break. Brock reached Cody for the hot tag after the break, but Solow had the official distracted, allowing the Factory to hit a double team neckbreaker for two.

Marshall went for Cross Rhodes on Brock, who countered into a DDT. Cody got the hot tag and ran wild on Solow, hitting the Oklahoma Stampede and a flying headscissor. He locked Solow in the Figure Four, but Solow was at the ropes. They fought up top, but Marshall got involved, so Cody hit him with a destroyer. Solow rocked Cody with a cyclone kick, but Brock broke up the pin.

Brock tagged back in and helped Cody hit a step-up forearm before jackknifing Solow for the pin and win.

Penelope Ford defeated Julia Hart (w/ Varsity Blonds)

They performed chain wrestling at the start. Ford used acrobatics to escape a headscissors before dropping Hart with a shoulder tackle. Hart came back with a dropkick and a running crossbody, but Ford tripped Hart up and hit a springboard knee drop into the commercial break.

Back from break, they traded strikes. Ford avoided a corner clothesline, but Hart rolled Ford up. Ford rolled out and took Hart down with a clothesline. She caught a kick and slapped Hart before hitting a fireman’s carry gutbuster. Hart rolled out of the way of a moonsault. Ford avoided a split leg drop and locked on an Indian deathlock, leading to the submission.

    – After the match, Miro came out and asked Ford where Kip Sabian is. He mocked Ford by telling the Blonds to leave before attacking them. He and Pillman got into a scrap before being separated by officials.

Callis joined commentary. Nick Jackson was conspicuously absent.

Matt Jackson & Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) defeated Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Miedo, & Frankie Kazarian

Kazarian attacked at the bell. He rolled up Anderson for a quick two before downing him with a clothesline. Jackson got involved, but Penta fought everyone off and tagged in Kingston for a double team. Jackson avoided the spinning back fist and tagged Gallows in. The match broke down into a free-for-all with everyone brawling on the floor. A running crossbody from Jackson took out Kingston ahead of the commercial.

The Elite took control during the break, beating down Kingston in their corner. Kingston shrugged off some right hands from Jackson and peppered him with chops. An overhead belly-to-belly suplex allowed Kingston to reach Kazarian for the hot tag.

Kazarian ran wild on everyone, taking out all three members of the Elite. A springboard leg drop on Anderson got two. Kazarian countered a spinebuster and locked on a crossface chicken wing, but Gallows broke it up, allowing Anderson to hit the spinebuster.

Penta tagged in and took out Jackson with a backbreaker before hitting a tope con giro on both Good Brothers. A floating DDT got two. Kingston tagged in and Jackson was the victim of a parade of offense in the corner. Penta hit the Fear Factor, Kingston hit the Backdrop Driver, and Kazarian hit the Angel’s Wings, but Gallows broke up the pin.

A thrust kick from Penta to Anderson got two. Anderson fought out of Fear Factor and hit a neckbreaker before tagging in Gallows. The Good Brothers hit an assisted neckbreaker and Jackson hit a top-rope elbow drop for two. Kazarian broke up the Magic Killer and we got a parade of big moves, leaving Anderson and Penta in the ring.

Penta hit a backstabber and went to the top rope, but Nick Jackson ran out and sprayed Penta with aerosol. Anderson hit a top-rope Stun Gun for the win.

    **********

Matt Hardy, flanked by The Hybrid2, addressed Christian Cage. He said Christian was jealous of how much money Hardy’s made, and that he would never financially recover from this. Angélico’s mission in this match is to injure Christian.

Christian Cage defeated Angélico (w/ Matt Hardy & Jack Evans)

They performed chain wrestling early on, with Angélico getting the better of Christian. Christian smacked him and did the ten punches in the corner. He stayed on the top rope, but Angélico cut him off and brought him down hard. Angélico targeted Christian’s arm.

Christian fought back with a couple strikes and a sunset flip, but Angélico tried to turn it into the Navarro Death Roll before landing a soccer kick. He locked on a modified juji gatame, forcing Christian to reach the ropes to break it. Christian made his comeback with a reverse tornado DDT.

A missile dropkick from Christian got two. Angélico sent Christian to the floor and Jack Evans tried to get involved, but Christian scared him away and hit a neckbreaker over the ropes. A diving headbutt followed for two.

    Cody Rhodes interview

Schiavone announced that Brock Anderson, the son of Arn, would be making his debut next week in a tag team match — teaming with Cody Rhodes against QT Marshall and Aaron Solow. He brought out Cody, Arn, and Brock.

Cody said that next week, Brock would steal home base and hit a home run. It’s a tough standard that dads have for us, but if anyone can do it, Brock can. Cody wants revenge himself, considering last week he was beaten by Anthony Ogogo.

Marshall interrupted and said he pinned Cody in the middle of the ring all by himself, just like he came out all by himself. He told Cody he’d had enough with the nepotism and passion projects. When they go back on the road, Marshall wants a full house to see him whoop Cody’s ass. He proposed a South Beach strap match.

Cody wanted to do the match now, but after cooler heads prevailed, Marshall whipped Arn with his belt. Brock took Marshall down with a Thesz press before officials ran out to break it up.

A video promo played where Kingston said “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” He said they’d have to work together tonight, but PAC just stared silently and walked off.

Don Callis joined commentary for the match.

Eddie Kingston, PAC, & Penta El Zero Miedo defeated The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) & Brandon Cutler

PAC and Matt started off, with the babyface team easily beating Matt down. The Bucks forced Cutler to tag in, where he was immediately taken down by PAC. Kingston wanted to tag in, but PAC ignored him to tag in Penta, who hit a diving stomp to the rear for two. Penta ripped open Cutler’s tracksuit and starched him with a chop.

Kingston tagged in and hit repeated knees to the gut followed by a stomp for two. He followed it up with a vertical suplex and an elbow drop for another two. PAC tagged himself in, leading Kingston and him to exchange words, but PAC took the fight to Cutler and implored the Bucks to tag in. Matt did, and was immediately taken out with a hip toss and a dropkick. Nick tripped entering the ring but tripped up PAC, allowing Matt to hit a dropkick ahead of the commercial.

The Bucks and Cutler controlled throughout the break. Once back, PAC kicked his way out to reach Kingston for the hot tag. Kingston sent Matt flying with a belly-to-belly before taking out Nick with an exploder. Penta tagged in with a diving crossbody on both Bucks. Cutler controlled Penta, but Penta got out of the way on double superkicks. Penta rolled out of a cazadora into a destroyer on Nick.

Cutler swept out Penta’s legs but inadvertently ate a kick from Matt for his trouble. Penta hit Made in Japan, but Cutler ran in and broke up the pin. PAC tagged in and Kingston stopped Cutler from hitting PAC with the camera. We got a parade of big moves, concluded with a step-up tope from Penta.

PAC hit the 450 splash on Matt and transitioned into the Brutalizer, but Nick broke it up. Kingston cut off Nick with a boot, then he and PAC hit stereo dives to the outside. Matt rolled PAC up with a handful of tights for a good near fall. PAC laid in kicks, but a kick from Nick allowed Matt to hit an enziguiri-assisted buckle bomb. Cutler tagged in, but PAC avoided a springboard leg drop. Kingston killed Cutler with a spinning back fist, allowing PAC to pin him for the win.

    – The Bucks immediately attacked after the match, joined by the arriving Good Brothers. Frankie Kazarian ran out to even the odds, crushing Cutler with a running lariat for good measure.

    The Pinnacle Speaks

Harwood said that Stadium Stampede didn’t go the way they wanted it to go. He called out Santana & Ortiz, saying they and FTR weren’t that different — they both overcame adversity and made something of themselves. The difference is that Santana and Ortiz lost their edge. Harwood’s got a wife and kid, and he uses his edge to fill his bank account. Wheeler doesn’t have a family, and he doesn’t give a sh*t about theirs. FTR works together to build their legacy, while Santana and Ortiz are happy being a footnote.

Spears said that Guevara got lucky. It’s ridiculous that Jericho called him a “hero” last week. Guevara’s nothing more than a glorified indie wrestler. The Pinnacle are professionals, and Spears is the hero.

Wardlow said that Hager is obsessed with him. He brings out the best in Hager. Hager invited Wardlow to his comfort zone, because he knows he could never beat Wardlow in a wrestling ring. No matter where they are, they’re always in Wardlows world. He accepts Hager’s challenge.

MJF is tired of acting like he has something to prove when he’s already the best. Being the best is daunting, and it bring pressure. He grew up idolizing Jericho – he watched every promo and read every book. Back in 2019, after the Double or Nothing rally, MJF saw Jericho backstage. His heart was beating a million miles a minute because he’d have the opportunity to work with Jericho. That should’ve been a dream come true, but it wasn’t.

That haunted MJF at night, until it hit him: he had been idolizing a false god. He thought he would be like Jericho, but Jericho’s not even on MJF’s level. He’s already beaten Jericho twice, so his match request is denied.

MJF then addressed Guevara, calling him a “chickensh*t.” Guevara doesn’t belong in a ring with MJF because he’s better than him and he knows it.

Jericho appeared on the video board. The Pinnacle knows what happens when they don’t give the Inner Circle what they want. They can talk it over as they’re walking home. The camera panned over to the Pinnacle smashing the Inner circle’s limo with sledgehammers and Floyd. Santana slashed the tires and Ortiz spray-painted the side. Hager appeared with a forklift, ramming through the side of the limo and lifting it up. Guevara said he’d fight MJF any day of the week.

    **********

Darby Allin answered Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page’s challenge. He said he wouldn’t replace Sting next week: he wants a handicap match. He told Sting to stay home. Sting was concerned, but Allin said “I’m not stupid,” and he wants to prove to them he can beat them. Sting said Allin’s got nothing to prove. Allin told Sting to stay home, and after some hesitation, they bumped fists.

A video played where Evil Uno talked about his relationship with Mr. Brodie Lee. He called him “one of his best friends.” Uno would be thrilled to see any Dark Order member win the TNT Championship, but he selfishly wants it for himself. He wants to make Brodie Lee proud. Miro’s going to find out just how devious Uno can be.

    **********

TNT Championship: Miro (c) defeated Evil Uno (w/ Dark Order)

    This was genius.

Miro overpowered Uno right away. He laid in body shots until Uno came back with knife-edged chops. Miro shrugged them off, but was sent to the floor, selling frustration. He dragged Uno to the floor, but Uno avoided a right hand as Miro punched the ring post. A cannonball senton followed.

Back in the ring, Miro cut Uno off with a back suplex, beating him down throughout a commercial. Once back, a running shoulder block from Miro sent Uno to the floor. Stu Grayson and Alan Angels ran out to fire Uno up, and Uno barely made it back in the ring at the nine count.

Miro rolled to the floor and sent Grayson over the barricade before pursuing Angels. Uno came back with a jawbreaker before laying in forearms. A running hurricanrana took down Miro, as did a Brodie Lee-esque big boot. Uno climed to the top rope and landed a senton atomico, but Miro kicked out at one.

-1 and the rest of the Dark Order ran out to cheer on Uno. Uno stomped on Miro’s hands and landed another forearm, but Miro caught a crossbody and rolled Uno up for two. Miro was sent into the turnbuckle on the kickout, and Uno covered for a good near fall.

Uno called for the Brodie Lee discus lariat, but Miro shrugged it off and leveled Uno with a lariat of his own. Miro locked on Game Over, forcing Uno to tap.

Kenny Omega & Don Callis interview

Callis called Jungle Boy a one-hit wonder for outlasting 20 men in the Casino Battle Royale. Omega’s not going to act like Jungle Boy is some incredible challenger for the title, but he can’t bring himself to say anything disparaging about him, because he sees a little bit of Omega in himself. One day, Jungle Boy might be champion, but there’s something Jungle Boy is missing.

Omega asked what Jungle Boy is missing, and Callis said he didn’t have the guts. Jungle Boy’s music played, and he came out. Omega said he’s surprised because he’s never known Jungle Boy to be a promo guy. He knows Jungle Boy has nothing to say, because he doesn’t have the guts. He asked Callis if anyone was better on the mic than him, and Callis said no. He gave Jungle Boy five seconds to speak.

Jungle Boy simply said “you talk way too much.” Omega tried to cheap shot Jungle Boy with the microphone, but Jungle Boy avoided it. Omega raked Jungle Boy’s eyes. Jungle Boy fought out and tried to lock Omega in the Snare Trap, but the Young Bucks ran out for the save.

    **********

Jade Cargill and Mark Sterling cut a promo. Sterling said that Cargill’s revenue was up by 43%. They’ve gotten rid of the hangers-on and the bamboozlers. Cargill’s got a family to feed, and they’re ensuring she can feed them. Cargill said they should capitalize on her catchphrase, and then she said it: “I’m that bitch.”

    **********

Scorpio Sky said he and Ethan Page gave Allin an opportunity, but he didn’t take it. This is the dumbest decision Allin’s ever made. Page said that actions have consequences. They’ve already done all these things to Allin – what’s he going to do when they pin him in the middle of the ring? It’s only up from here for the men of the year.

Nyla Rose (w/ Vickie Guerrero) defeated Leyla Hirsch

Rose attacked before the bell and hit a body slam. Hirsch surprised Rose with a cross armbreaker, forcing Rose to hit the ropes. She laid in repeated forearms and a shotgun dropkick, sending rose to the floor, but Rose intercepted the tope and sent Hirsch into the ring frame.

They brawled on the floor, with Hirsch avoiding a right hand as Rose punched the ring post (just like in the Miro match). Hirsch went for an armbar on the floor, but Rose fought out and sent Hirsch into the barricade. A powerslam from Rose got two ahead of the break.

Back from break, Hirsch landed a release German suplex and a Shining Wizard. She followed it up with a step-up moonsault, but Rose grabbed the ropes on the cover. Hirsch went for the cross armbreaker, but Rose powered out with a one-arm powerbomb.

Rose draped Hirsch over the top rope, but took too long to follow up. They fought up top, but Rose sent Hirsch to the mat. Hirsch popped up and went for a top-rope Frankensteiner, but Rose caught it and landed an avalanche Beast Bomb for the win.

    – Britt Baker (joined by Rebel) was interviewed. She addressed Rose, saying she was mad about Rose interrupting her celebration. She admonished Rose for making fun of Hirsch’s height. Baker’s already the best champ in company history, but Rose has nothing. She’s just another “jealous bitch in the back.” This title makes Nyla Rose, but Baker makes the title, just like she makes the division. “Yours truly, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.”

Hangman Page & Preston “10” Vance defeated Team Taz (Brian Cage & Powerhouse Hobbs) (w/ Ricky Starks & HOOK)

Cage and Page started off, with Cage repeatedly throwing shoulders into Page’s midsection. Page turned it around, beating Cage down in the corner. Both men had each other scouted, avoiding big moves, until Page hit a running shooting star press. Cage came back with a hip toss backbreaker.

10 made a blind tag and laid in strikes on Cage. He sent Cage into the corner and landed a running pump kick, but Hobbs cut him off with a kick, allowing Team Taz to take control. An assisted powerbomb got two as Hobbs tagged in. 10 got a brief flurry of offense but was cut off with a kitchen sink knee lift into the commercial.

Once back, 10 landed on his feet on an F-5 attempt and took down Cage with a pump kick. Hobbs made a blind tag, but 10 took him out with another pump kick, allowing him to reach Page for the hot tag. Hobbs shrugged off a lariat and a powerslam. Page went for a plancha on Cage, Cage caught him, but Page countered into a hurricanrana.

Back in the ring, a moonsault press from Page to Hobbs got two. He went for the Buckshot Lariat, but Hobbs cut him off with a running crossbody before 10 broke up the pin. A tijeras sent 10 into the ropes, where Cage hit a tiger feint kick, but Cage took him out with his springboard clothesline.

10 tagged in and hit a spinebuster on Hobbs. Hobbs forced 10 into the corner, allowing for a Cage tag. Cage landed a flurry of offense on 10 followed by a High Low with Hobbs, but 10 kicked out at two.

HOOK distracted the official and Starks threw Cage the belt, but Cage tossed it aside. Starks slapped Cage, and Cage pursued him to the back. 10 tried to take advantage, but Hobbs hit a spinebuster, with Page breaking up the pin at the last second. Hobbs sent Page to the floor, but 10 hit a ripcord cutter and Page hit the Buckshot Lariat, allowing 10 to pin Hobbs for the win.

    – -1 and the rest of the Dark Order came out to celebrate to end the show.
