New match announced for AEW Collision Winter is Coming

Tag team partners Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey will face off against each other in Cardiff, Wales for AEW this weekend.

The JetSpeed duo are set to collide in a Continental Classic Gold League match on AEW Collision this Saturday (December 13). The matchup is part of the lineup for the special Winter is Coming edition of Collision that’s being held at Utilita Arena. The episode has an early start time, airing live on TNT and HBO Max starting at 4:30 p.m. Eastern.

In the Gold League so far, Knight and Bailey each have a 1-1 record through their first two matches. Knight’s win was against Darby Allin on Thanksgiving eve, while Bailey defeated Kyle Fletcher in a highly praised matchup earlier this week.

Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada are tied for the Gold League lead with 2-1 records and six points. One of Fletcher’s wins was a victory over Okada.

The tournament runs through AEW Worlds End on December 27, with the semifinals and finals both set to be held at the pay-per-view.

Champion vs. champion match added to AEW Collision Winter is Coming

AEW has officially announced a huge Continental Classic match for Saturday’s Winter is Coming episode of Collision.

CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli takes on IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita in Blue league action this Saturday in Cardiff, Wales.

On Wednesday’s Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite, Kazuchika Okada defeated Jack Perry to earn three points in the Gold League while Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Kyle Fletcher to gain his first three points.

The Continental Classic tournament is slowly nearing its end with Okada and Fletcher are currently at the top of the Gold league with six points each. Takeshita and Castagnoli are also at the top of the Blue League with six points each.

The semifinals and final of the tournament are scheduled to take place at this month’s Worlds End pay-per-view.

TNT Championship match announced for AEW Collision Winter is Coming

All Elite Wrestling has officially announced an upcoming TNT title match for Collision Winter is Coming.

A couple of weeks ago, Mark Briscoe defeated Kyle Fletcher to crown himself the new TNT Champion. Just days into his title reign, he is now scheduled to defend the title against Daniel Garcia. Tonight, on the December 3rd episode of Dynamite, Mark Briscoe appeared in a backstage segment and reflected on his history with Garcia, before announcing his upcoming title defense.

Briscoe revealed that he spoke with AEW President Tony Khan and arranged a TNT Title match against Daniel Garcia for the December 13th edition of Collision: Winter Is Coming. Next week’s special episode will take place in Cardiff, Wales, as part of AEW’s upcoming UK tour.

Next week, Samoa Joe is also set to defend his World Championship against Eddie Kingston on Dynamite Winter is Coming.
