USA Network reveals premiere date for new Braun Strowman series

Braun Strowman will be back on your TV screens next month for a new food-centric series.

USA Network announced today that “Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman” will premiere with two episodes on Friday, October 24 — airing at 10 p.m. Eastern time after WWE SmackDown. The show has been in development since Strowman (Adam Scherr) was still with WWE. He was released by the company in May, bringing an end to his second WWE stint.

In press material, Strowman is billed under his WWE name and referred to as a WWE legend.

“The series follows Braun as he brings his superhuman appetite to America’s most delicious destinations, from the ultimate greasy-spoon favorites to the Michelin-starred temples of gastronomy and everything in-between,” USA Network wrote. “Braun doesn’t just eat… he obliterates every dish in his path, bonds with the culinary warriors behind the counter, and picks his favorite from each city’s most iconic flavors. The eight-city tour includes Fort Worth, Washington D.C., Orlando, Las Vegas, Chicago, Milwaukee, New Orleans and Tampa.”

The show is produced by WWE Studios and Bright North Studios, with Strowman and Paul “Triple H” Levesque among those listed as executive producers.

Braun Strowman says WWE doesn’t ‘care about the fans’

Braun Strowman lashes out at WWE.

On social media, Braun Strowman responded to a post by Karrion Kross that brought up a moment on the SummerSlam post-show where Triple H seemingly confused Karrion Kross chants for Brock Lesnar.

“You know they don’t care about the fans!!! They care about nepotism a** kisser’s and there buddies!!!!,” he wrote.

During the post-show, Triple H was discussing Brock Lesnar’s WWE return when “We want Kross” chants broke out among the crowd. Triple H took notice of the chants and responded to them.

“You want Brock? You got him,” Triple H said.

Kross on social media replied: “Unreal. They write the scripts…But the fans write the truth. Thank you, Tick tock.”

Strowman was released by WWE in May after being hired back in 2022 as part of Triple H’s takeover of WWE creative. Despite being gone from the company, a new television show produced by WWE Studios featuring Strowman called “Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman” will premiere this fall on the USA Network.

‘Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman’ set to premiere on USA this fall

At the NBCUniversal Upfronts on Monday, it was revealed that “Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman” will premiere this fall on the USA Network.

The show follows Strowman, who was released from WWE earlier this month, as he travels across America attempting to consume every item on the menu at various restaurants. It is being produced by WWE Studios in collaboration with BrightNorth Studios.

“Each episode, join WWE Legend Braun Strowman as he eats his way across America, while on the road for WWE, ordering everything on every menu and trying to down every last bite,” reads a description of the show published by Variety.

Strowman first teased working on a television project last year, writing on Instagram stories: “Can’t wait to drop the news about a TV show I’ve been working on!!!”

Strowman was released from WWE earlier this month in what was his second departure from the company. He was first let go in June 2021 before returning in September 2022.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Lee Fitting are listed as executive producers of the show.

New matches added to WWE SmackDown

Some new match announcements have been made for tonight’s WWE SmackDown episode.

Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia is hosting the Elimination Chamber fallout edition of SmackDown tonight. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will appear live, addressing John Cena’s heel turn for the first time. A Philly street fight is also set for the show with Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green defending against Michin.

WWE shared a video this afternoon with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announcing that tonight’s main event will be Shinsuke Nakamura vs. LA Knight for the men’s United States title. Aldis also added two other matches to the card: Braun Strowman vs. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso vs. Drew McIntyre.

The Nakamura-Knight title match was originally supposed to happen on SmackDown last week, but plans for the show had to be changed up and there was instead a mini-tournament that Knight won to become the definitive number one contender to Nakamura’s title.

Jacob Fatu destroys Braun Strowman on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Jacob Fatu left Braun Strowman a bloody mess on Saturday Night’s Main Event.

During their match Fatu got the upper hand, repeatedly hitting Strowman with hip attacks in the corner. The referee attempted to stop Fatu in order to check on Strowman, but Fatu grabbed the referee and threw him outside the ring as he continued his assault. The referee eventually called the match off.

Once the match was over, Fatu continued his decimation of Strowman by hitting a BME moonsault as security attempted to restrain Fatu. They failed, as he hit a second BME. Tama Tonga and Fatu then left the ring, only for Fatu to come back and hit a third BME, ending the segment as medical officials checked on a bloodied Strowman.

Triple H shared his thoughts on the assault in a post on X:

The angle that took place Saturday is similar to one from last year that saw Bronson Reed destroy Seth Rollins on an episode of Raw, hitting multiple tsunamis on Rollins as security attempted to restrain him.

Braun Strowman says he lost 36 pounds in one week due to ‘very bad flu’

Braun Strowman is starting to feel better after a bad case of the flu derailed his start to the new year.

In an Instagram post, Strowman (Adam Scherr) wrote that he lost 36 pounds in a week while battling the flu, which caused him to miss SmackDown last Friday and Raw’s Netflix premiere. Strowman believes he’s finally getting over the illness but will miss SmackDown again this Friday night.

Strowman stated that he had a fever of 102 degrees or higher for three days due to the illness and spent four days laying in a hotel room. Despite the rough start, he’s determined to make 2025 one of the best years he’s ever had.

“2025 has been off to a ruff start for me. I picked up some kind of a bug last week and it had absolutely whipped my ass,” Strowman wrote. “I laid in a hotel room for four days three with a fever of 102 or higher for the first three days. A week later I am finally over what I think is the hump. My sever body aches are finally easing up. Today is the first day I have been able to move around and really do anything. I have lost 36lbs in this week. Had test taken and all they could determine is that it was a very bad Flu thankfully. I hate I have had to miss last weeks smackdown the premier of Raw on Netflix and I will miss tv again this week. This is yet another speed bump in the road. I will be back bigger stronger and badder than ever!!!

“There hasn’t been anything this life has thrown at me that I haven’t been able to able to OVERCOME and this sure as hell isn’t gonna stop me in having one of my best years to date!!!!!”

Strowman, 41, is a member of the SmackDown roster and most recently competed on the show two weeks ago. He was reportedly scheduled to team with Jimmy Uso & Sami Zayn against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga last week before being replaced by Jey Uso.

Braun Strowman returns to TV, joins WWE SmackDown roster

Braun Strowman is back.

The former Universal Champion was the surprise opponent for Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown, who just minutes prior had dismissed his mystery opponent as light work. Strowman ended up winning the match in roughly 90 seconds. It was mentioned during the short bout that Strowman was the newest member of the SmackDown roster as part of the transfer window taking place prior to WWE Raw’s Netflix premiere on January 6.

Strowman had been out of action with a torn groin since the Last Monster Standing match that took place on the September 30 edition of SmackDown. He returned to the ring last month, teaming with Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio in a dark match to defeat Finn Balor, Carlito, and JD McDonagh of the Judgment Day.

On last week’s SmackDown, it was announced that all three brands would be subject to trades via a transfer window, with Raw stars seen talking to the GM of SmackDown and vice versa. Strowman’s move to SmackDown marked the first official brand switch.

Braun Strowman returns from injury in WWE SmackDown dark match

Braun Strowman returned from injury on Friday.

Strowman had been out of action since sustaining a torn groin in his Last Monster Standing match against Bronson Reed on the September 30 edition of WWE Raw. He returned to the ring in a dark match following the November 15 WWE SmackDown, teaming with Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio in a win over Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Carlito, and JD McDonagh.

The dark match had originally been Lee & Mysterio vs. Balor & McDonagh, but Carlito interfered, and Judgment Day had a 3-on-2 advantage. This led to Strowman’s surprise return and the match being turned into a six-person tag.

Strowman is also scheduled for Blizzard Brawl on December 7 in Waukesha, WI, an annual show put on by David Herro. Strowman will be the special referee of the main event.

Strowman says he tore his groin just two minutes into his match with Reed but was able to finish the bout and win, thanks to help from a returning Seth Rollins.

“Tore my Groin 2 minutes into the Last Monster Standing Match last week on #Raw and pained my way through that son of a b****. To yet again reminded the world I am The #MonsterOfAllMonsters,” Strowman wrote on Instagram following the injury.

Braun Strowman gives update on recovery after WWE Raw injury

WWE star Braun Strowman is staying active outside of the ring despite currently being sidelined with an injury.

Strowman suffered a torn groin while facing Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing match on the September 30 episode of Raw. While he recovers from the injury, Strowman represented WWE as an honorary starter at a NASCAR playoff race in Las Vegas over the weekend. He was interviewed by The Schmo at the race and gave an update on how he’s feeling.

“Well, they call me the Monster of All Monsters for a reason [laughs],” Strowman responded when asked how he is walking around after tearing his groin. “Nah, it’s unfortunate, but that’s part of the thing. We know we’re not signing up for water polo or ballet, so, you know, things happen in our sport and the show goes on. So you got to suck it up and get-r-done. I’ve been off the last couple weeks. I’m rehabbing, got to head back here in a second and fly back to Orlando to our facility. Get some more rehab this week and then next week, we’re in Hershey, PA. And then we head over to Saudi Arabia for a big one [Crown Jewel].”

Strowman tore his groin shortly after the Last Monster Standing bout began but was still able to finish the match. He got the win when Seth Rollins returned to cost Reed the match.

Rey Mysterio was also an honorary starter at the Las Vegas NASCAR event. He and Strowman were promoting that WrestleMania 41 tickets are set to go on sale later this week.

Las Vegas is hosting WrestleMania 41 on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Braun Strowman says he tore his groin during WWE Raw Last Monster Standing match

Braun Strowman got hurt during the Last Monster Standing match last Monday.

On Instagram, Strowman shared a video of his injured groin as he wrote how he injured it two minutes into the match against Bronson Reed.

“After waiting a few days to see how this was gonna end up. This is where we’re at!!,” he wrote. “Tore my Groin 2 minutes into the Last Monster Standing Match last week on #Raw and pained my way through that son of a b****. To yet again reminded the world I am The #MonsterOfAllMonsters.”

Strowman ended up winning the match after Seth Rollins, who Reed put out of action, made his return to Raw by giving Reed a curb stomp onto the steel steps that were inside the ring. This allowed Strowman to rise to his feet, meeting the ten count and winning the match.

Since taking Rollins out of action, Reed has focused on Strowman, one of the more imposing figures on the Raw brand. Their last match ended in a no contest after Reed gave Strowman a tsunami onto a parked car outside of the arena.

“And, when these two get together, very big and very bad things happen, it will be Bronson Reed going toe-to-toe with Braun Strowman.”

Reed returned to Raw last week after missing the previous show due to COVID. He interfered during the fatal four-way main event, splashing Strowman through a table and taking him out of the match.

Uncle Howdy vs. Chad Gable, Braun Strowman vs. Bronson Reed set for next WWE Raw

Uncle Howdy will wrestle on next week’s Raw.

It was announced on Monday that the leader of the Wyatt Sicks will be in action, taking on Chad Gable. The group has focused on Gable and the rest of American Made since their reintroduction. During a match between Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri, the group interruped the match with Nikki Cross laying out Nile. The male members went after American Made as Howdy gave Gable the Sister Abigail.

Another match will see Bronson Reed take on Braun Strowman. After Reed defeated The Miz in a no disqualification match with a tsunami, he went to go for another one when Strowman’s music hit. The two faced off, but didn’t touch.

It was also announced that the start of a tournament to crown a number one contender for the Intercontinental title would take place next Monday. Bron Breakker in an interview said that it wasn’t his fault that he was a badass and a genetic freak, but he warned his next challenger that he’ll spear him to the floor, and that will be his fault. In another promo, Jey Uso said he would be entering the tournament.
