WWE NXT viewership increases from previous week

Tuesday’s WWE NXT averaged 729,000 viewers on The CW, up 9.5% from the previous week and the highest audience for the show since March 25th.

The show also averaged a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo — identical to last week and tying the best ratings the show has done in that category since April 22nd. NXT ranked ninth on all television in prime time for that category.

There was no major sports competition Tuesday although cable news numbers were up due to coverage of the recent conflict in the Middle East. NXT was also pre-empted in several markets due to WNBA coverage.

The show featured a TNA World title defense by Trick Williams against Josh Briggs, a bout for the vacant Heritage Cup, and a multi-woman match to determine the Evolution title challenger for NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne.

As compared to the same week in 2024 on USA, overall viewership was up 19.3% while the 18-49 rating was down 11.1% as the audience is skewing much older on The CW.
