Ring of Honor TV spoilers for December 12 —

Chris Jericho & Matt Cardona Final Battle contract signing —

Jericho flipped off the crowd for chanting “Always Ready!” Jericho congratulated Matt for having the biggest match of his career. Jericho would not let Cardona speak. Finally, Cardona exploded and said, “Everything that comes out of your mouth is BULLSHIT!”

Cardona called Jericho a phony who’s using ROH, and Cardona is going to prove it when he wins the title next Friday. Cardona signed, then Jericho paused before he signed. He finally signed.

Jericho offered a handshake. Cardona sent Jericho into Bryan Keith on the apron. Cardona hit the Rough Rider and then slammed Jericho through the table, leaving Chris laying in the ring.

AEW Rampage spoilers for December 13 —

  • Toni Storm defeated Harley Cameron —

Toni Storm (original version, not Timeless) beat Harley Cameron with the Storm Zero. Harley Cameron threw to break. Yelling in the camera, “We’ll be right back if this idiot can remember who she is!” A more competitive match than you might expect.  There was a moment where Toni was going to do something ‘timeless’ but didn’t. Maybe a sign of a mental struggle with her character. This was the first match but they taped it last.

  • Deonna Purazzo defeated Shazza Makenzie —

Purrazzo won by tap out with the Fujiwara arm bar

  • Matt Cardona defeated Bryan Keith (w/Chris Jericho  on commentary)

After the match, Cardona in the ring and Jericho standing at the commentary desk stared each other down. Jericho took off his hat and jacket and slowly went to the ring only to wave his hands, call it off, and walk to the back with Keith. Cardona said to the crowd he’s going to beat Jericho “for each and every one of you”.

  • Tony Schiavone in the ring w/Don Callis, Lance Archer, Konosuke Takeshita, & Kyle Fletcher

Callis put over the ‘Murder Machine’ tag team, plus Takeshita and Fletcher beating Ospreay and Okada. Fletcher says he’ll beat Mark Briscoe on Collision because winning the Continental Classic is his destiny. Out came Powerhouse Hobbs and Mark Davis to start the main event vs Takeshita and Archer.

  • Powerhouse Hobbs & Mark Davis defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Lance Archer (w/ Don Callis on commentary & Kyle Fletcher standing behind him)

Hobbs pinned Archer with a spinebuster. Takeshita tried to attack Hobbs and got a spine buster for his trouble. Hobbs held up the International Title while standing over Takeshita. Hard hitting match.

Women’s World title match booked for AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming

The AEW Women’s World Championship will be defended at this year’s Winter is Coming episode of Dynamite.

As revealed during Wednesday’s Dynamite, Mariah May will defend her Women’s Championship against Mina Shirakawa at Dynamite Winter is Coming on Wednesday, December 11.

The match stems from the angle at Full Gear where May attempted to hit Shirakawa with a champagne bottle during their celebration segment. Shirakawa ducked the bottle and broke it with a kick, then sending herself and May through a table with a spear off the stage.

Another angle was shot during Wednesday’s Dynamite where May interrupted a sit-down interview between Shirakawa and Renee Paquette, this time connecting with a bottle shot to Shirakawa.

Prior to the attack, Shirakawa stated that she had been on alert for a May attack after May turned against their former ally Toni Storm. Strom has been absent from AEW programming since dropping the title to May at All In in August.

The announced lineup to this point for AEW Dynamite Winter is Coming set for Wednesday, December 11

Von Erich family to make AEW debut at Dynamite Winter is Coming

The Von Erich family are heading to next week’s Dynamite.

It was announced on Wednesday that Kevin, Ross, and Marshall Von Erich will appear on next week’s Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite in Arlington, Texas, which is in the Dallas area. Their appearance comes ahead of the upcoming release of The Iron Claw movie, which arrives in theaters on December 22.

The Iron Claw film will focus on the lives and careers of Fritz Von Erich and his sons Kevin, Kerry, David, and Mike. Although Fritz’s sons became major stars of his World Class Championship Wrestling territory in Dallas in the 1980s, by 1993 all of his sons except for Kevin died at an early age due to issues outside of the ring. Chris, another brother who died at an early age, was omitted from the film.

Ross and Marshall Von Erich, Kevin’s sons, entered professional wrestling in 2012. They have wrestled for Pro Wrestling NOAH, Impact Wrestling, and MLW. They appeared at last year’s Ric Flair’s Last Match event, where they lost to Mark and Jay Briscoe.

Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland set for next week’s AEW Winter is Coming

Two more Gold League matches are set for next week’s AEW Winter is Coming, a special edition of AEW Dynamite.

Jon Moxley will face Swerve Strickland in a Gold League match. The two are currently at the top of the league with three wins and no losses. Strickland confronted Moxley on Dynamite following their wins, taunting him by saying he’d do whatever it takes to win. Moxley said he’d do the same thing next week.

Another Gold League match will have Rush take on Jay Lethal.

Hangman Adam Page will make his in-ring return next week, taking on Roderick Strong. Page confronted MJF on this week’s Dynamite in his first appearance since losing to Swerve Strickland at Full Gear. Strong cut a promo on Wednesday’s show saying he wouldn’t be held back any longer from his wheelchair, throwing it off the stage.

Samoa Joe will appear following an angle that took place on Wednesday’s Dynamite. He and MJF were set to take on members of the devil’s entourage, but it was revealed backstage that someone had attacked MJF with a glass bottle.

Kevin, Marshall, and Ross Von Erich will also appear on next week’s Dynamite, which will take place in Dallas, the longtime home of World Class Championship Wrestling. Their appearance comes ahead of the Iron Claw movie based on the Von Erichs that will arrive in theaters later this month.

Here is the lineup for next week’s AEW Dynamite:

  • AEW Continental Classic Gold League: Rush vs. Jay Lethal
