Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley set for AEW Revolution

Three new matches have been added to AEW Revolution.

Bryan Danielson vs. Jon Moxley, Jade Cargill vs. Tay Conti, and a tornado match with Andrade, Matt Hardy, and Isiah Kassidy taking on Sting, Darby Allin, and Sammy Guevara has been set for AEW Revolution.

After Danielson defeated Daniel Garcia on tonight’s show, Moxley came out to save Danielson from a 2point0 attack. Danielson then said that he agreed to the match Moxley proposed last week, telling Moxley “don’t be surprised if you’re the only one bleeding.”

After Cargill defeated The Bunny to retain the TBS Championship on tonight’s show, Cargill cut a promo, asking who would be next to challenge her. Conti came out and said she’s not next, but she would be the one to beat Jade. The two went at it, but an attack from Bunny gave Cargill an opening to take out Conti. The segment ended with Conti’s friend Anna Jay coming out for the save.

In a backstage promo, Hardy suggested the trios tornado tag match, saying it would be the first one in AEW history. The AHFO have been feuding with Allin, Guevara, and Sting in recent weeks, with Andrade challenging Allin for the TNT title on Rampage this Friday. Andrade has also been trying to recruit Allin in recent weeks to the AHFO but to no avail.

The lineup so far for AEW Revolution, which takes place on March 6 in Orlando, Florida, is the following:

  • AEW World Champion Hangman Page vs. Adam Cole title match
  • AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa title match
  • AEW Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express vs. reDRagon vs. TBD three-way title match
  • AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill vs. Tay Conti title match
  • Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson

  • Face of the Revolution ladder match featuring Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, Keith Lee, Ricky Starks and several TBDs
  • Matt Hardy, Andrade El Idolo and Isiah Kassidy vs. Sting, Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara in a tornado trios match

Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston set for AEW Revolution

Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Kingston is officially on for AEW Revolution.

The two agreed to the match during an intense promo segment on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in which Jericho questioned whether Kingston can win “the big one” due to his fear of success.

Kingston retorted by saying he wants the Jericho that was the first AEW World Champion, that turned WCW upside down, the one that got the respect of one of Kingston’s heroes Tenryu in WAR and the one that Jericho’s close friend “Levesque” hated.

This will be the first ever singles meeting between the two and is a match that has been building for months, built on Kingston not wanting Jericho’s help when he did several run-ins when Kingston was getting attacked by 2point0 and Daniel Garcia.

Here’s the current card for the Sunday, March 6th pay-per-view from Orlando, Florida:

  • AEW World Champion Hangman Page vs. Adam Cole title match

Hangman Page vs. Adam Cole, Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa set for AEW Revolution

The AEW World and Women’s World championship matches have been announced for Revolution.

It was confirmed on tonight’s Rampage that Hangman Page will defend the AEW World Championship against Adam Cole, while Britt Baker will defend the AEW Women’s World title against Thunder Rosa. Both matches will take place at Revolution on March 6 in Orlando, Florida.

After defending the AEW World Championship against Lance Archer two weeks ago on Dynamite, Cole emerged from the back and had a staredown with Hangman to close out the show. A promo on this week’s Dynamite had Cole confront Page, saying that throughout their careers, people had always called Adam Page the “other Adam”. Cole started to leave when reDragon attacked Hangman from behind. This led Cole to join the beatdown.

Baker and Rosa have reignited their feud in recent weeks, with Baker hiring Mercedes Martinez to take out Rosa. After Martinez failed to beat Rosa in a no DQ match on this week’s Dynamite, Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel jumped Martinez and beat down both her and Rosa.

The current card for Revolution is as follows:

  • Adam Cole vs. Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship
  • Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa for the AEW World Women’s Championship
  • CM Punk vs. MJF in a dog collar match
  • Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus defend the AEW World Tag Team titles against two other teams. Those teams will be decided in two battle royals that will take place during the next two weeks on Dynamite.
  • Face of the Revolution ladder match featuring Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Keith Lee

Powerhouse Hobbs advances to Revolution ladder match on AEW Rampage

Powerhouse Hobbs is the latest to qualify for the Face of the Revolution ladder match.

Hobbs defeated Dante Martin during tonight’s Rampage to qualify. The finish had Hobbs pin Martin with a spinebuster.

Hobbs now joins Keith Lee and Wardlow in the ladder match that will take place at Revolution on March 6 in Orlando, Florida. The winner of the ladder match will be the next challenger for the TNT title, currently held by Sammy Guevara. Wardlow qualified on this week’s Dynamite after pinning Max Caster, while Keith Lee made his AEW debut last week, defeating Isiah Kassidy of Private Party.

The current card for AEW Revolution is as follows:

  • Adam Cole vs. Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship
  • Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa for the AEW World Women’s Championship
  • CM Punk vs. MJF in a dog collar match
  • Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus defend the AEW World Tag Team titles against two other teams. Those teams will be decided in two battle royals that will take place during the next two weeks on Dynamite.
  • Face of the Revolution ladder match featuring Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Keith Lee

Wardlow advances to Revolution ladder match on AEW Dynamite

Wardlow defeated Max Caster on tonight’s AEW Dynamite to qualify for the Face of the Revolution ladder match at next month’s pay-per-view.

Wardlow pinned Caster with his Powerbomb Symphony to advance to the ladder match set for the Sunday, March 6 pay-per-view. The winner of that contest will receive a shot at the TNT Championship currently held by Sammy Guevara. Guevara defeated Darby Allin to retain that title on tonight’s show.

On last week’s Dynamite, the debuting Keith Lee won the first qualifying match for the Face of the Revolution bout. The third qualifying contest is set to air on Friday’s Rampage, with Powerhouse Hobbs facing Dante Martin. Friday’s Rampage will air at 7 p.m. Eastern time due to TNT’s NBA coverage.

Also announced for Revolution on tonight’s show, CM Punk will face MJF in a dog collar match, plus Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus will defend the AEW Tag Team titles in a three-way.

The lineup so far:

AEW Revolution, Sunday, March 6, Orlando, Florida —

Dog collar match: CM Punk vs. MJF

Face of the Revolution ladder match for a TNT title shot: Keith Lee vs. Wardlow, four spots TBD

AEW World Tag Team Championship: Jurassic Express vs. TBD vs. TBD

Three-way AEW World Tag Team title match announced for Revolution

Two battle royals will determine the two teams that will face Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus at AEW Revolution on March 6.

On tonight’s Dynamite, it was announced that two battle royals will take place over the next two weeks on Dynamite. The first, A standard tag team battle royal, will be held on next week’s Dynamite. A second match, a Casino Tag Royale, will be held the following Wednesday. The two teams that win those matches will advance to a three-way match at Revolution.

Since winning the AEW World Tag Team titles on January 5 from the Lucha Brothers, the team has successfully retained the titles against the likes of Alex Reynolds and John Silver of the Dark Order, Private Party, and the Gunn Club in recent weeks.

A segment that took place on Dynamite teased dissension between The Young Bucks and reDragon over their involvement in the upcoming tag battle royals. Adam Cole eventually calmed everyone down.

CM Punk vs. MJF dog collar match set for AEW Revolution

A dog collar match between MJF and CM Punk is set for AEW Revolution.

Tonight’s episode of Dynamite opened with Punk discussing how MJF constantly references Roddy Piper, and since he wants to bePiper, why not do one of his more famous matches. He brought out the dog collar and challenged MJF to the match for Revolution on March 6. MJF came out to respond, but had no words and simply left as the segment ended. It was confirmed later in the night that Tony Khan had signed the match.

Following the events of Full Gear, MJF and CM Punk have exchanged words, with Punk going through much of MJF’s Pinnacle stable to get to MJF. The two finally had a match in Chicago on February 2, with MJF getting the win after a distraction from Wardlow.

On last week’s Dynamite, MJF said he would agree to a rematch if Punk could find a friend that wasn’t Darby Allin or Sting and defeat FTR in a match. Punk ended up teaming with Jon Moxley and was victorious, setting up the rematch.

Already announced for Revolution is a face of the Revolution ladder match that involves Keith Lee and Wardlow.
