The Hardy Boyz reveal their WWE dream matches

In 30-plus years as a tag team, TNA tag team champions Matt and Jeff Hardy have wrestled almost all of the biggest teams of the past decade. But they still have a few opponents left on their bucket list.

In an interview with Kevin Lewis of the Budget Cut Podcast, the Hardys were asked about any dream opponents they’d like to work with.

“In my solo dimension, Roman Reigns is still in that realm,” Jeff said. “That’s a pretty big dream match of mine.”

“As far as tag teams, I’m kind of hung up on the Street Profits,” he continued. “I really admire those guys. I would love to see that happen.”

“I would love to wrestle the Street Profits,” Matt said. “I would love to wrestle the Usos again. I would love to wrestle the New Day. Especially as they’re bad guys now, they’re villains. We haven’t done that. So I would love to wrestle those guys. Also, the Motor City Machine Guns. We have never had a match with those guys.” Matt also named Roman Reigns as his dream singles opponent.

Jeff then added one more team to his wish list. “I got to say this one, too, it’s on my bucket list,” he said. “With the Usos, a cinematic match in the Uso Penitentiary. Go to an old abandoned prison and have a killer cinematic match.”

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson win Raw Tag Team titles

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are the new Raw tag team champions.

They won the titles tonight in a triple threat match that included champions The Revival as well as the Usos. The latter team had laid out the Revival when Anderson and Gallows came in, took out Jey then pinned Jimmy Uso with the Magic Killer.

Both the Usos and the Revival have been feuding with one another for the last several months, with the Usos most recently losing a title match back at Extreme Rules. Anderson and Gallows have recently reformed what was once known as The Club with AJ Styles. In the last several weeks, they’ve adopted a new name, the OC.

The Revival had held the titles for 49 days, defeating Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder on the June 10, 2019 edition of Raw. This is the second time Anderson and Gallows have have won the titles, previously winning them at the 2017 Royal Rumble.

Bludgeon Brothers set to face Usos at WWE Greatest Royal Rumble

Another title match has been set for the Greatest Royal Rumble.

The Usos defeated The New Day to become the number one contenders for the SmackDown tag team titles, with Jey hitting a splash on Woods for the win. It was announced shortly thereafter that they would be facing the Bludgeon Brothers at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. After the match, the Bludgeon Brothers came out and pointed their hammers at the Usos, signaling that they were next.

The Greatest Royal Rumble looks to be just as stacked as any recent giant WWE card, as it will sport seven title matches along with a first ever 50 man Royal Rumble bout. Title matches already announced include Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns in a steel cage for the Universal title, Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor vs. The Miz vs. Samoa Joe in a ladder match for the Intercontinental title and Cesaro and Sheamus vs. the winners of a upcoming Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy vs. The Revival bout on Raw next week. John Cena vs. Triple H is another bout that has been confirmed.

The event will take place on April 27 at the King Abdullah International Stadium. It will air live on the WWE Network at noon EDT.

SmackDown tag team title match set for WWE WrestleMania 34

Another multi-man match has been set for WrestleMania 34, this time a triple threat match for the Smackdown tag team titles.

It was made official tonight that the Usos will defend their titles against The New Day and the Bludgeon Brothers in a triple threat match. The New Day and The Usos have been feuding over the titles for the last year, trading the titles back and forth. But the Bludgeon Brothers have made it known that they are interested in the titles as well, and have destroyed everyone in their path since their return. The match was made after the Usos ran down during a Bludgeon Brothers/New Day match that ended with both Usos and The New Day standing tall.

Here is the current card for WrestleMania 34, now with 13 matches:

  • Triple H and Stephanie McMahon vs. Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey
  • Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal title
  • AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE title

  • The Usos vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers for the SmackDown tag team titles
  • Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali for the Cruiserweight title
  • Andre the Giant Battle Royal
  • WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal

WWE Glens Falls, NY, live results: John Cena & The Usos vs. The Club

Submitted by David Spalding from the Glens Falls Civic Center

– WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day defeated The Wyatt Family

– Alberto Del Rio defeated Zack Ryder in about 12 minutes

– Mark Henry & Jack Swagger defeated Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas when Henry pinned Axel after the World’s Strongest Slam

– John Cena & The Usos defeated The Club (AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, & Luke Gallows)

There was a brief dance-off spot during the match, which Gallows ended after attacking Cena. This led into a brawl with the heels attacking the faces.

– Becky Lynch defeated Natalya with the Dis-Arm-Her

– Neville defeated Chris Jericho

Jericho spoke for a few minutes about how the city was a dump and how he broke Neville’s ankle. Neville got Jericho’s scarf in the beginning of the match, wore it, and then wiped it on his armpits, which disgusted Jericho.

– WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins to retain his title

Ambrose pinned Owens to get the win. Owens started off outside of the ring in a chair cheering on Rollins and encouraging him to get in the ring with Ambrose. Later when Owens was involved he made a remark to Rollins that “I’ve been doing all of the work!”

WWE Jonesboro, AR, live results: Bray Wyatt vs. Kane; New Day vs. Usos

Submitted by Brian Tramel

– Neville vs. King Barrett

Solid opener. Crowd is hot! Moonsault to floor! Red arrow for the finish with Neville winning.

– Bo Dallas & Heath Slater vs. Damien Sandow & Darren Young

Sandow got a good reaction. Crowd still hot! Outcasts won.

– Rusev with Lana vs. Fandango

Rusev in less than a minute; why? Rusev then challenged anyone.

– Rusev vs. Ryback

Ryback got a huge reaction! They worked hard and crowd was into it.

– Enzo & Big Cass with Carmella vs. The Ascension

There was some that knew the Enzo & Cass gimmick, but not a lot. Small “How you doin?” Chant. Real quick match with Enzo & Cass going over with finisher. Wyatts jump Big Cass & Enzo with Big Show making save with huge pop, which leads to…

– Luke Harper & Braun Strowman & Erick Rowan vs. Big Cass & Enzo & Big Show

Surprised to say it was a solid match. Big Show only in for hot tag after double heat. Crowd was loud. Show choke slammed Rowan for finish.

– Divas Champion Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch

Damn good match. Best match on the show. Lots of near falls leading to Charlotte winning with feet on ropes.

– WWE Tag Team Champions New Day vs. Usos

Crowd was hot for both teams. Total comedy until heat started. Fun match

– Bray Wyatt vs. Kane

Bray got a big reaction. Kane got a pretty good pop also. I am not sure why Bray has not turned baby. Bray did a crotch chop and said “suck it” to a fan. Crowd kinda died and people started leaving. Bray was working hard, no one cared. Kane pins Bray after choke slam.

– Summary:

A solid house show, especially since this is the B crew. I was told this was the same exact show as the night before in Cape Girardeau, MO. Most over on the show was probably Big Show (surprising, but probably because he has been there so long and everyone knows him).  As for the new guys, New Day were really over and crowd liked Usos a lot also. Another big surprise and it was the same as last time they were in Jonesboro, but Sandow was really over with the crowd. Pretty good for a guy that has not been on TV in months. Enzo & Cass were not over when they first came out, but before that 6 man was over the crowd was loving them. Natural charisma from the trio.
