On a week when TNA announced that Impact is heading to AMC in January, the promotion rolls on with a live episode ahead of Friday’s Final Resolution streaming special.

The TNA vs. NXT war continues as The Hardys, Steve Maclin and Cedric Alexander take on Lexis King, Stacks, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.

Friday’s challenger for Knockouts Champion Lei Ying Lee will be decided in a number one contender’s match between Dani Luna and Xia Brookside.

Former TNA World Champion Mike Santana takes on NXT’s Robert Stone.

In a preview of a tag team match at Final Resolution, Mustafa Ali goes one-on-one with Trey Miguel.

Ahead of his X-Division title defense against AJ Francis Friday, Leon Slater will appear on a First Class Penthouse interview segment with his challenger.

The show is rounded out by another TNA vs. NXT match with Home Town Man vs. Brooks Jensen.

Our live coverage kicks off at 8 PM Eastern.

**********

Steve Maclin, The Hardy Boyz, Nic Nemeth and Mike Santana, Gail Kim (among others) werewalking around in the woods looking for a box with TNA on it. A cover of “In The Air Tonight plays” while Eddie Edwards and Moose walk the box into a barn. Frankie Kazarian took off his sunglasses; Ash by Elegance was there as well. The box is glowing, and when someone finally opened it, it’s a promo for the AMC debut on January 15th.

That was definitely a thing that happened.

Taped from Orlando, Florida.

Tom Hannifan & Matthew Rehwoldt were on commentary.

The Home Town Man v. Brooks Jensen (w/ Lexis King)

After weeks of getting jumped by the NXT wrestlers, Santino Marella is allowing the NXT wrestlers to complete in TNA. I’m not sure how that’s different from the original arrangement. The Home Town Man  choked Jensen against the ropes and pummeled him with fists. Homer got a near fall off a top rope crossbody. Jensen escaped a Home Town Slice and dropped Homer with a brain buster.

Jensen dropped Homer with a backbreaker for a near fall. Jensen missed a knee drop, but Homer fell back trying to slam Jensen. Homer finally took over with a flying clothesline and a bodyslam, then dropped the “Home Town Elbow.” Homer hit the Home Town Slice, then took out Lexis King with a dive to the floor. But when the Home Town Man got back in the ring, King tripped him up and Jensen caught him with a heel kick for the pinfall.

Match Result: Jensen pinned The Home Town Man (5:26)

(During the commercial on TNA+, they showed a clip of current TNA World Champion getting choked out by current AEW World Champion, Samoa Joe from 2011. Although Kazarian did wind up getting a rollup pin. Later on the showed AEW’s Christian Cage also beating on the current TNA World Champion.)

The Rascalz did a skit where they sit around in a cloud of smoke. They’re confused about their old names, their new names, and the name of their opponents Order 4.

The IInspiration IInteraction.

The IInspiration came out to celebrate their victory a month ago at Turning Point. Victoria Crawford and Tessa Blanchard interrupted to challenge the IInspiration for a title match at Final Resolution (which Hannifan had already announced would be happening, which was actually announced on the TNA social media platforms a week ago). This was a setup for Mila Moore to attack the IInspiration from behind, but despite the 3-on-2 odds, the IInspiration actually ran off the heels and stood tall.

— Santino Marella fired up the TNA troops in the main event later tonight.

— Clips from NXT highlighted Miles Borne getting the advantage in the Iron Survivor Match at NXT Deadline.

Dani Luna v. Xia Brookside in a Number One Contenders Match for the Knockouts World Championship.

The winner gets a shot at the TNA Knockouts Champion Léi Yîng Lee tomorrow night.

Brookside worked over Luna with a headlock, but Luna easily powered out. Brookside had more success working on Luna’s arm. Brookside caught Luna with a rana out of the corner and a kick. Brookside avoided an elbow drop and caught Luna with a dropkick which sent her to the floor.

Brookside tried a baseball slide kick, but Luna avoided it. Back in the ring, Luna powered Brookside down with a backbreaker. Luna followed up with a forearm to the small of Brookside’s back. Luna stepped on Brookside’s chest to take the wind out of her, then went to work on Brookside’s leg.

Luna tossed Brookside to the mat and hit a sliding lariat for a near fall. Luna went back to attacking Brookside’s leg.

Luna whipped Brookside hard into the turnbuckles. Brookside started to mount a comeback with flying clotheslines, and took Luna down with a tijeras. Brookside hit a back elbow in the corner, then followed up with meteroa. Brookside hit a crossbody off the top for a near fall.

Brookside went for a surfboard, but Luna powered out. Brookside then tied Luna up in an Octopus hold. Luna powered out of that, too, but Brookside hit a Russian Legsweep and then transitioned into an armbar. Luna powered Brookside out of that an into a buckle bomb. Luna hit a slingshot blue thunder bomb for another near fall.

Luna dropped to the floor and pulled a steel chair and a steel chain out from under the ring. Luna slid the chair into the ring. While the ref was dealing with the chair, Indi Hartwell ran in and grabbed the chain from Luna. Hartwell clocked Luna with the chain. Luna got back in the ring and Brookside quickly wrapped her up in a small package for the pinfall.

Match Result: Xia Brookside defeated Dani Luna via pinfall (12:27 aired)

After the match, Léi Yîng Lee had words for her opponent.

TNA Injury Report:

  • Mike Santana’s arm is being monitored, but he is cleared!
  • Tessa Blanchard has been cleared for Final Resolution!
  • Indi Hartwell has cleared the concussion protocol!
  • Zachary Wentz and Desmond Xavier are not cleared to compete tonight due an attack in the parking lot by Order 4!

Robert Stone v. Mike Santana

Stone jumped Santana before the bell. They fought on the floor, and Stone sent Santana into the ringpost. Despite injuring his arm against the ringpost, Santana still hit the discus lariat and get the pinfall. Santana told Stone after the match to let the other NXT invaders know that “Papi’s home!”

Match Result: Mike Santana pinned Robert Stone (0:30)

Frankie Kazarian can’t believe the audacity of JDC challenging him for the TNA World Title. Kazarian will put an end to JDC’s “opening match, mid card existence.”

First Class Penthouse with guest Leon Slater

AJ Francis brings out Slater, who is only X Division champion because Rich Swann couldn’t get the job done (according to Francis). Slater is the soon-to-be former champion, since Francis is challenging Slater for the X Division title at Final Resolution. Francis got in Slater’s face, and Slater asked him to brush his teeth, which got a “Brush your teeth!” chant going. Slater thinks Rich Swann (who Francis has been belittling) deserves a little more respect since he’s a former TNA World Champion. Francis toasts his future as X Division champion, but gave Slater an empty glass since he’s “sixteen or something.” Predictably, things turn violent. Slater avoided a choke slam through the table, but did not avoid Francis throwing the table. Francis choked out Slater with his jacket and held him open for Swann to hit him with the title belt, but Swann refused. Francis shoved Swann down, then gave Slater a massive choke slam, and stood over Slater with the X Division title.

— The System are having trouble figuring out who will replace JDC.

— JDC responds to Frankie’s promo from earlier by asking how many WrestleManias Kazarian has been in. JDC will show Kazarian what a real star is at Final Resolution.

Mustafa Ali v. Trey Miguel in a match with everyone barred from ringside.

Ali caught Miguel coming off the middle ropes and tried to muscle him up, but Miguel went over his shoulders and took him down with a crucifix bomb. The match went to the floor. When Miguel tried to catch up to Ali by sliding under the bottom rope, Ali caught him with a draping DDT onto the floor.

In the ring, Miguel came back with a gamengiri. Ali caught Miguel with a vertical suplex, holding him up for a long time before dropping to the mat. Miguel avoided the rolling neckbreaker and caught Ali with a moonsault. Ali charge into an elbow, and Miguel came off the top with a shotgun dropkick.

Miguel caught Ali with a rana into a cradle for a near fall. Ali came back with a jawbreaker, Miguel sent Ali to the floor with a handspring kick, the followed him out with a spinning DDT on the floor. Back in the ring, Miguel came off the top with a meteora for a near fall.

Miguel caught Ali with a destroyer, but Ali bridged out of the pin attempt, then collapsed. Miguel went for the meteora off the top again, but Ali dodged it and Miguel drove his knees into the mat. Ali quickly locked in the sharpshooter, and Miguel tapped out.

Match Result: Mustafa Ali defeated Trey Miguel via submission (7:33)

Final Resolution Card:

  • Pre-show match: Cedric Alexander v. Eric Young
  • Mike Santana v. Charlie Dempsey
  • The IInspiration v. Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Title
  • Matt Cardona v. Mance Warner in a Street Fight
  • Order 4 v. The Rascals
  • The Hardys v. Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe for the TNA World Tag Team Titles
  • Léi Yîng Lee v. Xia Brookside for the TNA Knockouts World Title
  • Steve Maclin v. Stacks for the TNA International Title
  • Leon Slater v. AJ Francis for the TNA X Division Title
  • Frankie Kazarian v. JDC for the TNA World Title

Stacks, Lexis King, Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe (of NXT) vs. The Hardys, Cedric Alexander & Steve Maclin (of TNA)

While the Hardys entered the arena, Alexander and Maclin jumped the NXT guys who were already in the ring. The Hardys double-teamed Stacks for a near fall. Lexis King kept the Hardys from hitting Poetry in Montion and the match broke down again with all eight guys brawling. Stacks wound up surrounded by the entire TNA team and took a beating, then Alexander and Maclin tossed him over the top rope and onto his partners.

Maclin brought Stacks back into the ring, then hit him with a chop so hard it sent him back to the floor. Alexander got the tag and hit Stacks with another hard chop. Stacks got the tag to King, and Alexander chopped away at King, too. Alexander tried to go to the top, but Tyson Dupont shoved Alexander to the floor to get the advantage for the NXT team.

King tried some chops, but Alexander fired back with more chops. King popped him with a short right, and then tagged in Stacks for some double-team chops. The NXT team worked over Alexander in their corner.

King hip tossed Stacks into Alexander, who was slumped in the corner.  Alexander caught Stacks with a leg whip and got the tag to Maclin, who went after King. Maclin hit King with an Angle slam. King took out Stacks with a clothesline, then Dupont and Igwe, but King caught Maclin with a sliding dropkick. Dupont drove Maclin down to the mat with an uranage.

Jeff Hardy got the tag and fought King. He dumped King to the floor, then took out the entire NXT team with a body block off the apron. Jeff went to the top, but Stacks tripped him up. Igwe took out Alexander with a boot, and the match broke down. Matt hit Dupont with a side effect. King went for his finisher on Jeff, but Jeff countered into the Twist of Fate.

Stacks sprung to the top, but Jeff crotched him. Stacks hung upside down in the corner, and Jeff used Matt as a springboard to give Stacks a low blow. Tyson and Tyriek pulled the Hardys out to the floor for a brawl, and Alexander followed out with a dive. The ref tried to deals with the guys in the floor, so in the ring King clocked Maclin with his walking stick, of course the TNA guys lose the main event to the NXT guys.

Match Result: Team NXT beats Team TNA when Stacks pinned Maclin (14:24)

After the match, Santino came out to berate the TNA guys for being cheating cheaters.

Final Resolution feels thrown together, but I’d figure the next two months will just be marking time until the get onto AMC in January.

Column: Why AEW Dynamite and Tony Khan cannot ‘win’ on Tuesday night

AEW Dynamite will be airing a daily earlier this week for their annual Title Tuesday episode with Collision airing the next night. It’s not the first time they are running on a Tuesday night and it also isn’t the first time that they will be going head-to-head with WWE’s NXT brand but this time , it’s a no-win situation for Tony Khan and company.

NXT has been doing crossover promotion with TNA for the past few months, and it all looks set to come to a head (creatively, at least) this Tuesday. The show was initially named Invasion, playing on the old 2001 PPV imagery and really pushing the idea that TNA could be a threat to NXT, but due to the historical significance of October 7 to Israel and the Hamas attacks, WWE changed the name to Showdown.

The card for Showdown, as of this writing, looks pretty much finalized with both companies putting their biggest talent forward in elimination matches in addition to a winner takes all Tag Team title match between The Hardyz and DarkState.

By contrast, Dynamite (again as of this writing) only has a Mercedes Mone open challenge confirmed for the card in addition to match between Brodido and Konosuke Takeshita & Kazuchika Okada that may be postponed due to Bandido’s injury and a street fight between The Hurt Syndicate and The Demand.

We saw during the Wednesday Night Wars that both companies were more than willing to try and get ahead of each other in terms of television ratings, but it’s looking this time that Khan may be focusing more on the ongoing television creative week-to-week rather than hotshotting their own version of a supercard together to combat what is going on at The CW.

The problem here is that Khan and AEW are pretty much in a no-win situation and, ironically, it’s almost a complete flip from where NXT was back when AEW started airing on Wednesday nights in 2019.

Why Tony Khan can’t win

Khan and AEW are in a difficult position and when I say that they can’t “win,” I mean from a perception standpoint: AEW can either beat WWE’s third brand by loading up and doing a random one-off card, or they lose outright to WWE’s third brand.

The NXT of 2025 is not like the NXT of 2019 or the years proceeding. Long gone are the days when NXT TakeOver shows would be the highlight of a PPV weekend with the likes of Adam Cole, Sami Zayn, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Johnny Gargano, etc. putting on cards that would rival anything else in the industry.

Now, we’re genuinely seeing a developmental brand where either established names begin to learn the WWE style (Ricky Saints, Ethan Page) or younger names get their reps in on television (Trick Williams, Lola Vice).

So how do you approach this situation if you’re Tony Khan? Do you keep serving the television audience and stay the course with your current storylines, or do you try and counteract what WWE is doing on Tuesday night? From a perception standpoint, AEW simply cannot win either way. They either look flustered by the competition or they just hope that they have enough going creatively to beat a big invasion-esque storyline.

Why WWE and TNA will win

So if Khan and AEW can’t win on Tuesday, does that mean that WWE and TNA will actually win? Yes, it does. TNA is more than likely heading to The CW on Wednesday nights to compete head-to-head with AEW, and it’s a defacto way for WWE to go head-to-head with AEW without an actual branch of the company having to do so.

If TNA ends up beating AEW, that’s great for WWE business. But if they don’t? It’s only TNA will be the excuse. TNA gets a huge push in terms of branding on Tuesday night ahead of their new television deal set to be announced and NXT gets a differential and a big moment on Tuesday when the two brands collide — all without it actually looking like a hotshotted show to compete with Title Tuesday on TBS.

If AEW does better ratings than NXT? Well, it’s AEW’s biggest weekly show so it should be doing better ratings from a perspective standpoint, and WWE can essentially lay the blame at TNA’s door. If NXT vs. TNA beats AEW in the ratings, it’s a genuine perception changer for TNA. At least, that is how they will try to position themselves ahead of a potential Wednesday night move and WWE will get one over on the only real competition left with zero risk.

Triple H was in charge of NXT when AEW were beating them on television weekly and it led to Vince McMahon completely changing how NXT worked as a brand. With Triple H now in charge of creative on the main roster, there has to at least be a part of him that relishes the idea of sticking it to Tony Khan and AEW Dynamite one more time with “his” brand.

**********

Mustafa Ali (w/ Tasha Steelz & The Great Hands) vs. Ace Austin

The show settles inside the Impact Zone after the usual “Cross the Line” theme and video intro and recap package for the previous week’s show. The theme for Mustafa Ali hits and out he comes for the first match of the evening.

Ali’s arm is taped up, and he is accompanied by Tasha Steelz and The Great Hands duo of John Skyler and Jason Hotch. He settles inside the ring as the commentary duo of Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt put over Ali looking and being more dangerous than ever.

ABC’s theme hits and out comes Ace Austin. He makes his way to the ring and the bell sounds to get things officially off-and-running. Ali takes the early offensive lead, beating down Austin. Austin starts to fight back, knocking Ali to the floor.

He hits a cartwheel into a handstand to avoid a sweep from Ali from the floor, and then blasts him with a big shot that decks him at ringside. He picks Ali up and rolls him back into the ring. He charges at Ali in the corner. Ali avoids him.

Austin leaps up to the ropes in the corner, only for Ali to hit a leg-DDT. Ali smashes Austin’s leg into the steel ring post. The leg of Austin was already not 100% coming into the bout due to the attack he suffered at the hands of Ali and company backstage on last week’s show.

Ali gets Austin on the ropes hanging upside down in the tree of woe. He puts more pressure on the bum wheel of the ABC member. He backs up and charges at him, looking for a Steve Maclin-style spear to the upside down Austin, but Austin does a sit up and Ali slides and splits the post with his legs.

Ali recovers and locks Austin into the Boston Crab. Austin makes it to the ropes to break the hold. Austin goes to the top-rope and looks for the 450 splash. Austin moves, so Ali lands on his feet. Ali pulls Tasha Steelz into the ring and covers himself with her like a shield.

As Austin gets Steelz up and out of the away, Ali attacks Austin from behind. Ali slaps Austin in a leg submission on his injured leg and cranks back like a madman, forcing the tap out and getting the victory. The commentators once again talk about the look in Ali’s eyes. Ali heads over and yells at them.

Match Result: Mustafa Ali defeated Ace Austin via submission

The System Talk About Their Plans For Tonight

Backstage, we hear the annoying nails-on-a-chalkboard sounds of Alisha Edwards’ voice. “Do you wanna know something?” she begins.

The System members are standing with her and they all mention their plans for tonight. Eddie Edwards vows to get rid of Cody Deaner once and for all. Moose talks to Elijah and says he’s gonna stick his foot straight up his ass.

He says he’ll do the same to Joe Hendry as well. He says after that, they will head to Brampton, Ontario, and will make sure to let all of Canada know that you always “trust the System.” The show heads into a commercial break.

Rosemary Sends A Violent Message To Xia Brookside

When the show returns, Rosemary is shown talking to the camera, sending a message to Xia Brookside. She talks about the power she could wield if she would just choose to.

She says she hasn’t found what fuels her. Then she questions if she has or not, with a sadistic smile on her face. She points down. The camera pans down and we see Lei Ying Lee is laid out and unconscious.

She tells Xia she can come to the light herself, or she can be dragged, kicking and screaming, which she says as she lifts up Lee’s lifeless head.

The Northern Armory (Travis Williams & Judas Icarus) (w/ Eric Young) vs. Aztec Warriors (Laredo & Octagon Jr.)

Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for The Northern Armory hits. It’s a modified remix-style version of Eric Young’s badass entrance tune. Young accompanies the duo of Travis Williams and Judas Icarus to the ring for scheduled tag-team action.

After they settle inside the squared circle, their music dies down and the lights come back on in the arena. The music for their opponents plays, and out comes the Aztec Warriors team of Laredo and Octagon Jr. The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with this one.

Fans immediately break out in “Lucha! Lucha!” chants. Laredo and Travis Williams kick things off for their respective teams. The camera focuses a lot on Eric Young seeming on-edge, and irritated with the fans in the Impact Zone early into the match.

Williams handles things early on, but not for long. Fans rally behind Laredo with “Ole! Ole!” chants and he shifts the momentum in his team’s favor. He makes the tag, as does Travis. Octagon Jr. goes to work on Judas, until Judas starts biting him in the corner.

The camera focuses on the bloody shirts worn in the Dog Collar Match a couple of weeks ago. The commentators explain what the viewing audience at home are looking at while they are shown. Williams tags back in and continues controlling the action for his team.

Now we see a close-up shot of Young yelling and arguing with some fans in the front row. Williams gets involved with Young at ringside, while Icarus is getting beat down by Laredo and Octagon Jr. in the ring. A fight breaks out with Young and the fans.

After the camera focuses on the action in the ring again, Octagon is in control of things when he hits a spinning splash over the ropes onto Young and Williams on the floor. Laredo comes off the top-rope with a moonsault to the pile of bodies on the floor.

Icarus is rolled back into the ring. Laredo hits a running Superman forearm on him in the corner. He hoists him up and slams him down. Octagon Jr. comes off the top-rope with his finisher and makes the cover for the pinfall victory.

Match Result: Aztec Warriors defeated The Northern Armory

Xia Brookside Responds To Rosemary

When the show returns from a commercial break, Xia Brookside is shown backstage with a still-recovering Lei Ying Lee.

She responds to the comments made by Rosemary earlier in the show, vowing revenge on her at TNA Under Siege 2025 for all of those who are like her and refuse to sell their soul.

Eddie Edwards (w/ Alisha Edwards) vs. Jake Painter

Inside the Impact Zone, Cody Deaner is introduced alongside Hannifan and Rehwoldt on special guest commentary for the next match of the evening.

With that said, The System theme hits and out comes Eddie Edwards accompanied by Alisha Edwards. Deaner says on commentary he’s ready to beat Edwards and save his career at TNA Under Siege 2025.

In the ring, Edwards’ opponent is already standing. Jake Painter is then introduced and the bell sounds to get things started. Edwards immediately runs across the ring and nearly takes Painter’s head off.

Edwards delivers some more punishment to Painter at ringside, as Alisha yells at Deaner with the most annoying voice ever created. Edwards gets Painter in the ring and quickly finishes him off.

Deaner stands up and tells Edwards he’s going to beat him at TNA Under Siege 2025 because he needs to. The show heads to another commercial break after the match wraps up.

Match Result: Eddie Edwards defeated Jake Painter

Mance Warner & Steph De Lander Era Has Begun

The show returns to a new vignette with Mance Warner and Steph De Lander talking about finding their equal freak in the other. Footage is shown of the carnage that have caused since joining forces.

De Lander says it’s the Mance & De Lander Era now. “If you have a problem, tell someone who gives a sh*t,” are the words from De Lander that this ends on.

First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) vs. Sami Callihan & Mike Santana

Back inside the Impact Zone, the familiar sounds of First Class’ theme hits to bring out AJ Francis and KC Navarro for scheduled tag-team action in our next match of the evening.

As the duo settle inside the squared circle, our second of three scheduled special guest commentator appearances is introduced, as actor O’Shea Jackson Jr., son of Ice Cube and host of the No-Contest Wrestling podcast is shown alongside Hannifan and Rehwoldt.

O’Shea talks about his dislike of First Class after their interaction on the First Class Penthouse on last week’s show. The theme for Sami Callihan hits and out comes the first of First Class’ two opponents. Mike Santana’s hip-hop tune hits next and out he comes through the crowd as always.

The bell sounds to get things started. Santana and Francis kick things off for their respective teams. Santana shoves Francis. Francis is held back by Navarro in the corner. Navarro backs into Santana and stops, realizing he has messed up.

Santana flips him and chops him down, following up with a standing senton. Callihan tags in. Navarro flips over his back off the ropes and taunts him. Callihan responds with a pop-up power bomb that nearly puts Navarro through the mat.

Callihan goes to power bomb Navarro over the ropes and onto the floor, but Francis is out there and he ends up catching him. Navarro goes to work on Callihan in the ring and tags in Francis. Francis and Navarro hit a double-team spot on Callihan and Francis follows up from there.

Santana finally gets the much-needed hot tag. He hits the ring with a ton of energy. He takes out Navarro with a Rolling Buck-50 and then hits the ropes and soars over the top-rope, flipping and splashing onto Francis on the floor at ringside.

Santana hits Outline in Chalk on Navarro for a close two-count after that. Francis hits the ring with a ton of steam, but is sent with just as much energy right back out to the floor. Santana tags in Callihan. The two go for a double-team spot, but Francis yanks Santana out of the ring.

He holds onto Callihan, allowing Navarro to hit a big kick. He follows that up with a Blessing in Disguise on Callihan for the cover and the 1-2-3. First Class gets the win. Afterwards, Santana calls Francis in to fight. Francis teases doing it, but walks off . The show heads to a break.

Match Result: First Class defeated Sami Callihan & Mike Santana

Authority Debate: Santino Marella (w/ Arianna Grace) vs. Robert Stone (w/ Victoria Crawford)

When the show returns, Gia Miller is standing in the ring to moderate the Authority Debate between TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella, and newcomer Robert Stone. With Santino is Arianna Grace, while Victoria Crawford is with Stone.

Miller tells each person they will get two minutes a piece. Santino gets to start. He talks about coming to TNA over two years ago and how he’s proud of the work he’s done. Stone gets a turn and flips out. He calls Santino a joke and says he’s never done anything to make TNA better.

It’s Santino’s turn again, but Stone refuses to stop. He says he’s gonna say his final statement now. He rants about once he’s in full power, he’s gonna fire all of the dead weight and do something Santino couldn’t do, which is create actual superstars.

Santino gets his final turn again and the crowd pops. As he begins talking, we see Arianna fall down behind him. She is dragged out of the ring by Tessa Blanchard, who showed up out of nowhere. She begins an attack and all hell breaks loose.

Masha Slamovich ends up coming down and she beats down Crawford, while Arianna actually recovers and gets her hands on Tessa for a big pop. Arianna and Masha go to double power bomb Tessa through the debate table.

It doesn’t break. The crowd chants for them to do it again, and they oblige. They walk off as Tessa is shown recovering and yelling in anger on the mat in the ring. On that note, the show shifts gears and heads into another commercial break.

Matt Cardona Gets New Date For TNA International Title Match

The show returns to Matt Cardona backstage with a piece of paper in his hands. He says it’s the contract for TNA Under Siege 2025 for his TNA International Championship match that he earned with his win last week.

He says the problem is, there is no match. Not because of him. Matt Cardona is “Alwayz Ready.” He says Steve Maclin isn’t medically cleared because of his Dog Collar Match. He calls Santino Marella on the phone to clear things up.

Santino appears live behind him. He tells him Maclin won’t be cleared by tomorrow, but he will be a few days later. He tells him the TNA International Championship match will take place on next week’s episode of TNA Impact.

Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) vs. Vipress & Mazzerati

The show returns inside the Impact Zone to the familiar sounds of Spitfire’s theme music. Out to the ring for scheduled Knockouts tag-team action are the duo of Dani Luna and Jody Threat. Their opponents, Vipress and Mazzerati are already in the ring.

Before things get started, an ‘earlier today’ backstage segment is shown, where Luna and Threat talk about their urgency in getting back the TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Championships they believe rightfully belong to them.

They determine that like in the past, they have to put their future on-the-line and they know they’ll get it done under that pressure. They agree that if they don’t win back the titles, they will never team again. Back live, the bell sounds to get things started.

Mazzerati and Luna kick things off for their respective teams. Luna takes the early offensive lead as Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk on commentary about how this might be the final time on TNA Impact that fans see Spitfire together as a tag-team.

Threat and Vipress tags in, but it is surprisingly Vipress who takes over control of the offense. She isolates Threat on her team’s side of the ring and begins focusing her offensive attack on the arm of the former TNA Knockouts tag-team title-holder.

Mazzerati tags back in and lands a big kick on Threat, before dropping to the mat and sweeping her legs out from under her. She brings her back to her side of the ring and isolates her in a hold as Luna, and the fans in attendance, try and rally behind her.

Threat finally hits a jawbreaker to break free. She leaps and makes the much-needed hot tag to Luna. Luna hits the ring with a ton of energy and begins taking over, shifting the offensive momentum back in her team’s favor.

Threat and Luna hit their double-team finisher for the win moments later. After the match, Ash and Heather by Elegance run down and try and attack the champions with title-shots. Spitfire sees them coming.

Because Threat and Luna were aware of their presence, they avoid the title swings and end up laying them both out. They pick up the TNA Knockouts tag titles and take a look at them. They clang them together like beers and head off, as the show goes to a break.

Match Result: Spitfire defeated Vipress & Mazzerati

Matt Hardy Gives Leon Slater A Pre-TNA Under Siege Pep Talk

The show returns, and backstage Matt Hardy is seen with Leon Slater. Hardy tells Leon that tag team wrestling isn’t just about tagging in and out, it’s about finding a rhythm. He acknowledges that The Nemeths have that rhythm, but insists he and Leon can match it.

Matt points out that Leon brings youth to the table, while he brings experience and strategy. He warns Leon to keep his eyes on The Nemeths at all times. Leon confidently says he does have the rhythm, prompting Hardy to call him a weapon.

Matt reminds everyone he’s held tag team gold with MVP and Bray Wyatt, and now, at Under Siege, he plans to do it again with Leon Slater. The brief backstage pep talk-style segment wraps up on that note.

Joe Hendry & Elijah vs. The System (Moose & Brian Myers) (w/ Alisha Edwards & JDC)

It’s main event time!

But first, we hear the familiar sounds of Trick Williams’ theme and out comes the WWE NXT Superstar. As Williams makes his way to the commentary desk to join Hannifan and Rehwoldt on the call for the tag-team main event of the evening, Rehwoldt tries doing the Booker T hip-hop ad libs.

“Uh-huh, Yeah, I like it!” Hilarious. He tells Booker he’s sorry, but he had to try. Trick takes a seat alongside Hannifan and Rehwoldt and then his music dies down. The theme for the first team in tonight’s main event hits.

Out comes The System team of Moose and Brian Myers, accompanied by JDC and Alisha Edwards. They settle inside the ring and their music dies down. The lights in the building go out and we hear the familiar sounds of Elijah’s strumming of his guitar.

Out he comes with his trademark guitar in-hand, slung over his shoulder, as he begins his walk to the ring. Elijah settles at ringside, slides his guitar into the ring and claps hands with the entire front row around the ring, before settling inside himself and posing on the ropes.

His music dies down and then the familiar sounds of Joe Hendry’s viral smash hit entrance tune plays. The crowd goes nuts as the TNA World Champion makes his way out and heads to the ring for the final match of the evening.

As the fans do the Hendry entrance routine with him, Trick remarks on commentary, “Here we go again!” He refuses to do the wave, too. The show heads to a quick pre-match commercial break before things get started.

When the show returns, the bell sounds and Elijah and Myers kick things off for their respective teams. Elijah takes the early offensive lead over Myers and then slaps a side head-lock on him. He gets the better of Myers on the next offensive exchange as well.

This leads to Myers backing up and tagging in TNA X-Division Champion Moose. He comes in and Elijah leans back and tags in Joe Hendry for a big pop. The commentators point out it’s champion versus champion in the ring now.

The two lock up and Moose over-powers Hendry. Hannifan points out that Hendry has been dealing with shoulder and arm injury issues, and trying to fight through them for the past several weeks. Williams laughs on commentary, questioning if Hendry will even make it to Sunday.

Hendry tries fighting back with Moose, looking for a suplex, but his shoulder won’t allow it. Moose hits a big kick, but seconds later, Hendry fights back and this time, is successful in hoisting up the big man for a suplex. He tags in Elijah, who walks the ropes and leaps into a tornado DDT.

Myers quickly tags in and Elijah boots him in the gut, grabs his hand and walks the top-rope once again. This time, however, JDC hops on the ring apron and shakes the ropes, leading to Myers pulling Elijah down the hard way. Myers takes over on offense from there.

On that note, the show shifts gears and heads into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues with The System building on what is turning into a comfortable offensive lead. The show returns to Moose and Myers missing big shots on the floor.

Regardless, The System duo maintain control of the offense in the actual match, keeping Elijah isolated on their side of the ring and dominating the action with frequent tags, keeping a fresh man on him at all times. Elijah eventually makes the much-needed hot tag to Hendry, and the crowd roars.

Hendry hits the ring with a ton of energy, taking it to Moose and Myers. He beats Myers down as the legal man and then hits a pop-up powerbomb before tagging Elijah back in. Elijah hits his tombstone piledriver-finisher and covers Myers for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Frankie Kazarian hits the ring out of nowhere and begins beating down Elijah and Hendry from behind. Trick Williams, who will team with Kazarian against Hendry and Elijah at TNA Under Siege tomorrow night, is enjoying what he’s seeing.

As Kazarian is working over Hendry in the corner of the ring, he is hit by Elijah out of nowhere with a massive guitar shot to the dome. The guitar explodes into 1,000 tiny toothpicks as Kazarian is laid out in the ring.

At ringside on the floor, we see Trick Williams stand up from his seat at commentary as Hendry and Elijah celebrate. He stares and glares at them as they do the dramatic Joe Hendry soap opera-turn at the conclusion of Hendry’s theme. That’s how this week’s show ends. Thanks for joining us!

**********
Ash & Heather By Elegance (w/ George Iceman) defeated Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley

The usual recap video package covering highlights from last week’s show airs to get things started. We then see George Iceman in the ring being booed. He cuts a heel promo before doing his usual elegant personal ring introduction for TNA Knockouts Tag-Team Champions Ash & Heather By Elegance.

After the champions settle inside the squared circle for the opening contest, the entrance tune for their opposition hits. Out comes WWE NXT duo Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley. The bell sounds and non-title Knockouts tag-team action gets underway.

Ash and Dolin kick things off for their respective teams. “The Liaison” between WWE NXT and TNA, Arianna Grace, is on special guest commentary for this one. Ash talks some trash out of the gate, and gets dumped on her noggin’ by Doin for her efforts.

Paxley tags in and hits a picture-perfect dropkick for a two-count. Heather tags in as well, and she ends up shifting the offensive momentum into her team’s favor. As she takes over control in the ring, another WWE NXT duo, Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend, are shown watching on via a monitor backstage.

After Paxley lands some Kawada-style rapid-fire kicks, Dolin tags in. Heather immediately takes over, however, and tags in Ash, who picks up where she left off, putting the boots to Dolin in the corner. She tags Heather back in, and she blasts a groggy Dolin with some big forearm shots.

Heather backs up and charges at Dolin, but runs into a big boot. She tags Paxley in. Ash tags in as well. It is Paxley, however, who takes the hot tag and comes in with a ton of energy, taking it to Ash. She hits a big suplex and a standing elbow drop for a close two-count.

Iceman pushes Paxley off the top turnbuckle, which the referee doesn’t see. Heather gets involved as well, which sets Ash up for the top-rope Rarified Air finisher for the pinfall on Paxley, giving her team the win. Afterwards, the Elegance duo’s beefcake brings their cake over, but Dolin and Paxley shove their faces in it.

Gia Miller Interviews Leon Slater

Backstage, Gia Miller is standing by with her guest, Leon Slater. She brings up what happened with Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth last week on the show. She also asks about his match against Nic later in the show. Slater vows to get his get-back. The show heads into a commercial break.

The Aztec Warriors (Laredo Kid & Octagon Jr.) & Chavo Guerrero Jr. defeated First Class (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) & Frankie Kazarian

When the show returns, First Class duo AJ Francis and KC Navarro are making their ring entrance, in progress. Their music dies down and the entrance tune for their partner hits, bringing out the self-proclaimed “King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian.

The Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy owner settles inside the squared circle and his music dies down. The theme for their opposition hits, and out comes The Aztec Warriors team of Laredo Kid and Octagon Jr., as well as their partner, Chavo Guerrero Jr.

The El Paso legend gets a big pop coming out, and he kicks things off for his team. Kazarian does the same for his. Chavo establishes the early offensive lead, and the crowd is loving it. All hell breaks loose moments later, as all six end up in the ring.

The Aztec Warriors and Chavo hit high spots as the show heads to a mid-match commercial break. When the show returns, First Class takes over after Navarro pulls some behind-the-referee’s back shenanigans. Francis takes over and taunts the crowd.

Octagon tries fighting back, but Francis splashes him in the corner. Francis hits the World’s Strongest double-slam on Laredo Kid and Octagon Jr. simultaneously for a close two-count, as the pin is broken up. Navarro tags in and picks up where Francis left off, taking it to one-half of the Aztec Warriors.

Laredo Kid eventually gets the hot tag for his team, and he immediately shifts the offensive momentum back in his team’s favor. The crowd comes to life in the background. Navarro and Kazarian try and double-team him, but he ends up handling them both by himself. Fans chant “We want Chavo!”

And Laredo obliges. Chavo gets the tag and the crowd explodes as he hops over the ropes and goes to work. The pro wrestling legend hits any-and-everything that moves, easily handling Francis, Navarro and Kazarian single-handedly. Chavo hits the Three Amigos on Navarro as fans chant “Eddie! Eddie!”

Kazarian stops him before he can hit the third, so he takes over and hits two of the Three Amigos on him instead. When he goes for the third on him, Francis cuts him off. Francis does the Eddie Guerrero shoulder-shimmy to taunt the crowd, but Chavo makes him pay for it.

He hits the Three Amigos on him, and isn’t stopped before completing all three on the big man. The crowd loved it and immediately broke out in a loud “Eddie! Eddie!” chant. The Aztec Warriors go to the top on the same corner and hit a double-dive onto Francis and Kazarian on the floor.

Chavo hits the Gory Bomb on Navarro in the ring. He then heads to the top-rope and hits the Eddie Guerrero Frogsplash for the pinfall victory. Great feel-good stuff here in El Paso. The show heads to another commercial break.

War Of Words: Sami Callihan & Mance Warner

When the show returns, a Rosemary vignette in a very Rosemary-style, airs, and then a war of words between Mance Warner and Sami Callihan takes place.

Santino Marella points out how both are handcuffed and there are a ton of security present to ensure nothing physical happens. The two sit on opposite sides of a table, with Steph De Lander on Warner’s side, and they speak their respective pieces.

De Lander also speaks up and they talk about possession being nine-tenths the law when discussing their TNA Digital Media Championship. Santino Marella speaks up and says they need to promise not to damage anymore company property or put any civilians in danger.

Sami calls De Lander a skank. She throws a drink in his face, which he can’t cover due to his hands being cuffed. Santino yells at them to leave. Warner and De Lander profess their love for each other and share a sloppy kiss while doing exactly that. After this wraps up, the show heads to another commercial time out.

Masha Slamovich defeated Jacy Jane

The show returns to the theme of WWE NXT Superstar Jacy Jane playing. She makes her way out and heads to the ring for the second TNA vs. WWE NXT showdown of the evening.

Jane settles inside the squared circle and her music dies down. The theme for her opposition hits, and out comes the reigning TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich. Tom Hannifan mentions on commentary that she is over 100 days for her current run with the title.

After the bell sounds, Jane does a snarky wave to Slamovich from the opposite corner, before charging at her. The two lock up and push-and-pull on the ropes all around the ring. They continue their lock-up back in the center and Slamovich slams Jane down.

Jane locks back up on the mat and they roll around without breaking it. They stand back up, and Jane yanks Slamovich back down to the mat by her hair. Slamovich takes back over and hits a big kick and sends Jane out to the floor. She hits a dive through the ropes onto Jane at ringside.

Moments later, a similar situation presents itself, however this time when Slamovich goes for a big dive through the ropes to the floor, she is met with a big shot from Jane. After a big follow-up from Jane, she looks into the camera and vows that she’s going to take over TNA.

On that note, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break as Jane adds to her offensive lead back inside the ring. When the show returns, Slamovich begins fighting from underneath back into competitive form. Jane goes for a punt kick from the ring apron to Slamovich on the floor.

Slamovich blocked it and pulled Jane onto her shoulders. She slams her front-ways face-first onto the ring apron from the floor. Back inside the ring, Slamovich builds on her offensive lead en route to hitting a Snow Plow for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Tessa Blanchard, who was banned from ringside during the bout, runs out and beats down Slamovich until Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee run out to make the save, chasing her off and checking on the TNA Knockouts Champion. The show heads to another break.

Eric Young (w/ The Northern Armory) defeated Ace Austin

When the show returns, a vignette airs showing Mike Santana being out for revenge on Mustafa Ali. Back inside the Impact Zone, the theme for Eric Young hits. He makes his way out to the ring with The Northern Armory duo of Travis Williams and Judas Icarus.

Young settles inside the squared circle for a first-time-ever singles showdown against Ace Austin in the next match of the evening. After Young’s music dies down, the ABC entrance tune hits to bring out his opponent. He joins him in the ring and the bell sounds to get things started.

The two lock-up and Young establishes the early offensive lead, focusing on attempting to isolate the arm of Austin and work it over. He stops and looks directly into the camera to send a message to Steve Maclin. The Northern Armory get involved behind the referee’s back and Young continues to dominate.

Young continues to tie the referee up to allow The Northern Armory duo at ringside to inflict additional damage to Austin behind the official’s back. The commentary duo of Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt sell home the fact that it is Young proving to Maclin what true trust looks like.

Austin begins fighting back. He hits Click-Click-Boom to shift the offensive momentum in his favor. He climbs up on Young in the corner and hits the ten-punch sequence, with the fans counting along with each shot that lands. Austin hits a signature move for a close two-count.

Austin comes closer and closer to finishing Young off, but ultimately another dastardly demonstration of what true trust looks like from Young and The Northern Armory duo lead to Young taking over again. Young hits a big piledriver to finish Austin off for the win. The show heads to another break.

Musical Performances & Fights From Joe Hendry, Elijah & Frankie Kazarian

The show returns to the familiar sounds of the smash viral hit, “I Believe in Joe Hendry.” With that said, the crowd comes alive and sings along as the TNA World Champion makes his way to the ring in his trademark silky-blue button-up shirt.

His music dies down and the “We Believe!” chants pick up. Hendry begins, “Say his name, and he appears. Your TNA World Champion is here in El Paso, Texas! And it was right here in Texas that I became the champ, and now everybody wants to know what is next for the TNA World Championship.”

Hendry reminds everyone he is willing to defend his title against anyone from any company, all someone has to do is pick up the phone and tell Santino Marella they want a shot at the champion. The familiar sounds of the guitar strum of Elijah is heard after he says that.

Elijah comes to the ring and tells Hendry he is not coming out here because he is the next title challenger. He assures the champ that he too “believes in Joe Hendry.” Elijah assures him he can trust him. He says they’ve become friends. He knows Hendry’s favorite color is blue and that he likes classic movies.

He then goes on to suggest he perform the favorite song of Hendry from a movie he loves, Toy Story. He suggests they sing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me.” Elijah begins singing, Randy Newman-voice-and-all. The crowd sings along. Everyone is into it, so of course, Frankie Kazarian comes out to break up the fun.

Kazarian heads to the ring insisting no one wants to see “this Hall and Oats nonsense.” He settles inside the squared circle with a guitar of his own strapped around himself. He tells Hendry and Elijah they are legitimately accomplished musicians, but everybody knows “real men play bass guitar.”

Kazarian plays La Cucaracha on his bass for the El Paso crowd, who responds with loud “You suck!” chants. Kazarian plays another offensive song aimed at ridiculing the local crowd, and he gets the reaction one would expect for doing so. Hendry stands up for the crowd and tells Kazarian it’s time he leave.

Kazarian speaks up and tells Hendry he knows he doesn’t trust Elijah, and tells Elijah that he knows he secretly hates Hendry’s guts. He tells them they need to be men for once and skip past all the nonsense and just beat the crap out of each other now. They beat up Kazarian instead, and then sing “Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye.” Once this wraps up, the show heads into another commercial break.

Nic Nemeth defeated Leon Slater

It’s main event time!

After matches are announced for next week’s episode of the show (see below), things head back to the ring for the final match of this week’s program. Nic Nemeth’s entrance tune hits and out comes “The Wanted Man” himself with his little brother Ryan Nemeth.

The rookie sensation of TNA, Leon Slater, makes his way out next. The bell sounds and the main event of the evening gets underway. Nemeth takes the early offensive lead, stopping to taunt Slater and the crowd. Slater gets one big move in and takes the time to lean down and taunt Nemeth in return.

Slater blasts Nemeth with a big move off the ropes and then follows-up with a spinning elbow that sends the former TNA World Champion to the floor. Slater hits his trademark running turning dive over the ring post to the floor, splashing on Nemeth as the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.

When the show returns, we see Nemeth regained the offensive lead during the break. The crowd is jeering and booing as Nemeth slowly and arrogantly controls his younger opposition. Slater begins firing up and taking over. He struggles, however, to find a way to finish off the pro wrestling legend.

Nemeth slows Slater’s momentum down, taking out the knee of the young rising star. Slater is essentially on one leg now, with another bum wheel dragging next to him as he tries once more to fire up for another comeback.

“The Wanted Man” cuts it short and looks to try and finish Slater off, only for Slater to keep finding a way to hang in there. Nemeth brings Slater up to the top and climbs up after him. Slater fights him off and knocks him down. Slater teases a Swanton 450, but Nemeth crotches him instead.

Nemeth then follows that up with a super-plex. Nemeth tunes up the band in the corner, timing Slater for a superkick, but Slater avoids it and counters with a Twist of Slate. He climbs to the top-rope and leaps for his Swanton 450 splash, only to land on Nemeth’s raised knees.

Nemeth goes for the immediate cover, but somehow Slater kicks out. Nemeth looks for Danger Zone, but Slater avoids it. Ryan Nemeth grabs at Slater from ringside, but Slater kicks him off. The brief distraction was enough to set Nic up for another attempt at his Danger Zone finisher.

This time, Nemeth hits it and scores the pinfall for the main event victory. After the match, Ryan Nemeth joins his big brother in the ring to put the boots to Slater. The iconic sounds of The Hardys theme hits and out comes the TNA World Tag-Team Champions Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy.

The Nemeth Brothers run off. Matt gets on the microphone and brings up Nic and Ryan calling themselves the best brother team in wrestling. Matt says they aren’t medically cleared yet, but challenges The Nemeth Brothers to face them at TNA Rebellion 2025. The Hardys tune hits again and the crowd roars as this week’s show wraps up on that note.
