BVV: TNA No Surrender with Santana & Slater vs. Nemeth & Edwards

TNA No Surrender in a nutshell: the stuff you expected to deliver did, and the stuff you didn’t expect to deliver was much, much better than expected.

It wouldn’t be TNA without some illogical booking and nonsensical backstage segments, but the in-ring material was so good that none of that mattered.

The main event pitted TNA World Champion Mike Santana and X Division champion Leon Slater against Nic Nemeth & Eddie Edwards in an ECW throwback match with a cast of thousands doing run-ins, interference, and returns.

We also saw the Hardys and the Righteous operating as a shockingly good team to take on Order 4.

But the real story was the contributions from people you’d least expect, such as Indi Hartwell, Arianna Grace, and most of all, the great Mike Jackson.

Frankie Kazarian re-signs with TNA

Frankie Kazarian has re-signed with TNA.

During the No Surrender pre-show on Friday, Ryan Nemeth and Alan Angels were wrestling when Kazarian came out and interrupted their match, choosing to hijack the segment. Nemeth was fine with this and walked away as Kazarian announced that he had recently re-signed with the company. Angels, who stayed in the ring, was angry about Kazarian interrupting the match leading into an impromptu match of their own, with Kazarian winning after applying the chickenwing.

Kazarian chose to sign with TNA over AEW back in 2023. Starting out as a face, he turned heel the following year and established himself as the self-proclaimed king of TNA. In November, he cashed in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet title match and defeated Santana to win the TNA Championship for the first time since making his debut for the company 22 years prior.

On the very first episode of Impact on AMC in January he went on to lose the TNA title back to Santana, ending his reign after 63 days.

Knockouts title match part of updated TNA No Surrender card

The February 5th, 2026, episode of TNA on AMC announced several new matches for the upcoming No Surrender event.

TNA Wrestling’s new addition, Daria Rae, announced on Thursday’s episode that The Hardys and The Righteous will team up to take on Order 4(Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and Special Agent 0) at No Surrender. In addition to this, Rae also announced that TNA World Champion Mike Santana and Leon Slater would team to take on Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards.

Shortly after, Santino Marella also appeared and announced a Knockouts title match for the show. Lei Ying Lee will defend her Knockouts championship against Arianna Grace. This match was made official after Grace pressured her father, Marella, to add her to a title match.
