Bailey was victorious over Trent Seven and Jake Something in a qualifier on Thursday in a bout where had Bailey lost, he would have vacated the X-Division title and the Ultimate X match at Emergence would have been for the vacant title. Instead, Bailey will now defend his title in the Ultimate X bout.

Wentz scored a win in his qualifier over KC Navarro and WWE NXT’s Dante Chen on Thursday’s Impact to punch his ticket to Emergence.

Qualifying matches for the Emergence Ultimate X match for the X-Division Championship continue on next week’s TNA Impact.
