Taylor Wilde vs. Jessicka announced for Impact Wrestling

The rivalry between The Coven and The Death Dollz will continue on Impact Wrestling this week.

Taylor Wilde vs. Jessicka has been added to the lineup for Thursday’s show.

The last time these two were in the ring together was at Countdown To Rebellion when The Coven successfully retained the Knockouts Tag Team Championships against Rosemary and Jessicka. Wilde also defeated Jessicka in a singles match two months ago when Impact was in Windsor, ON, Canada.

Jessicka’s tag team partner, Rosemary, is currently in the undead realm. In a backstage segment last week, The Coven told Jessicka they can open the door to the undead realm for her but Jessicka wasn’t interested.

Most of the matches advertised for this week’s Impact Wrestling were filmed from Chicago’s Cicero Stadium on April 29. Swann vs. Angels was taped the night before from the same venue.

Impact Wrestling 5/25 lineup:

  • Angels vs. Rich Swann
  • Mike Bailey vs. Chris Sabin
  • Jordynne Grace vs. Alisha Edwards
  • Taylor Wilde vs. Jessicka

Knockouts title defense, Grace vs. Slamovich set for next Impact

Nearly two weeks after she regained the Knockouts title at Rebellion, new champion Deonna Purrazzo will defend it on next Thursday’s Impact on AXS TV.

Purrazzo will face former champion and reigning Knockouts Tag Team Champion Taylor Wilde. This follows Wilde and her partner KiLynn King cutting a backstage promo Thursday in which they called her a fraud.

The show will also feature former champion Jordynne Grace take on Masha Slamovich in the latest chapter of their intense feud. Grace was unsuccessful in defeating Purrazzo for the vacant title at Rebellion while Slamovich is still looking for her first title reign.

Impact Tag Team Champions ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin) will take on The Design’s Kon & Angels in non-title action. The Design are reeling after Sami Callihan turned on the group at Rebellion and will look to get back on track.

Here’s the current lineup:

  • Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo defends against Taylor Wilde
  • Jordynne Grace vs. Masha Slamovich
  • Impact Tag Team Champions ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin vs. The Design (Kon & Angels) in non-title action

Two matches added to next week’s Impact Wrestling

Two new matches have been added to next week’s Impact Wrestling card.

Taylor Wilde will face Mia Yim in a singles match. Joe Hendry will also be in singles action, taking on Jason Hotch.

In a backstage segment on this week’s Impact, Hotch was upset about Hendry taking his spot in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at Bound for Glory. Hendry then appeared, saying Hotch will have a learning opportunity next week when they meet in the ring.

In an exclusive video uploaded to social media, Wilde talked about her return at Bound For Glory, saying that while she came up a little short, she’s just getting herself in the right position. She says she’ll start with Mia Yim.

Here is the current card for next week’s Impact Wrestling:

  • Impact World Tag Team Championship: OGK (Mike Bennett and Matt Taven) defend against Heath and Rhino
  • Eric Young vs. Rich Swann
  • Tommy Dreamer and Bully Ray vs. Bullet Club (Chris Bey and Ace Austin)
  • Taylor Wilde vs. Mia Yim
  • Joe Hendry vs. Jason Hotch

Taylor Wilde vs. Kimber Lee set for Impact Wrestling

For the first time in ten years, Taylor Wilde will step into a wrestling ring when she takes on Kimber Lee on Thursday’s Impact Wrestling.

Wilde’s return had been teased for weeks with vignettes and during Sunday’s Rebellion, she made her on-screen return following Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo’s successful title defense over Tenille Dashwood. As Purrazzo, Lee and Susan were attacking Dashwood after the match, Lee came out and took out both Lee and Susan before Purrazzo escaped.

The 35-year-old Canadian has been out of action since February 2011 and hasn’t wrestled for Impact since November 2010 when it was called TNA. She was with the company from 2008 through 2010 and retired to focus on studying for a psychology degree. She also trained to become a firefighter during that time, got married for a second time, and had a child.

She is both a former Knockouts Champion and half of the first-ever Knockouts Tag Team Champions with Sarita. She also held the titles with Hamada.
