  • Jael defeated Vertvixen
  • The Texas Outlaws (Wyatt & Wayne Rhodes) defeated Aaron Solo & Jon Cruz
  • Blake Christian defeated Fuego del Sol
  • Dark Panther defeated Gravity

Dynamite:

  • Hangman Page defeated Max Caster in an open challenge
  • Ricochet cut a promo wearing The Embassy robe.
  • The Death Riders (PAC, Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli) defeated Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) to retain the AEW Trios titles after Yuta pinned O’Reilly with a low blow into a cradle.
  • MJF was with Renee Young when Hangman Page interrupted. The two had a back-and-forth before MJF said he would become a two-time champion before Page.
  • Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata & Hook defeated Aaron Solo, Jon Cruz & Rosario Grillo. After the match, Joe called their team The Ops. They challenged The Patriarchy to a trios match for next week’s show.
  • Chris Jericho challenged Bandido to a “showdown”, taking paces backward as if they were in a Western movie. Bryan Keith ended up jumping Bandido. The Outrunners attempted the save for Bandido and then Powerhouse Hobbs came out to prevent Big Bill from chokeslamming Bandido.
  • A backstage segment saw Cope and Jay White attack the Death Riders and steal Jon Moxley’s briefcase that holds the AEW World title inside.
  • MJF defeated Dustin Rhodes after the referee stopped the match while MJF had Rhodes in the STF.
  • In a backstage promo with Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana, Swerve said he and Ricochet were far from done. Nana asked Strickland to let it go. Swerve said he couldn’t because the last time he did, he lost the World title.
  • Megan Bayne defeated Maya World with the F5. As Bayne was walking to the back, Kris Statlander walked down for her upcoming bout as the two had a staredown.
  • Kris Statlander defeated Penelope Ford. After the match, Bayne attacked Statlander and gave her an F5 on the floor.
  • A Harley Cameron promo saw her do a CEO rap with the Mercedes Mone puppet. She then cut a serious promo promising to win the TBS Championship.
  • A Willow Nightingale promo took place before she was attacked by Marina Shafir. Mox told Cope that he was a dead man walking.
  • The Hurt Syndicate defeated The Gunns to retain the AEW Tag Team titles. The Murder Machines came out after the match and stood on the stage as they had a staredown with the champions.
  • Mariah May backstage talked about her upcoming match against Toni Storm at Grand Slam Australia.
  • Cope and Jay White brought the briefcase to the ring. Cope said that if Moxley didn’t accept his challenge for Revolution, he was going to attack the briefcase with Spike, his nail-filled baseball bat. Moxley accepted the match and promised to break Cope’s neck. Cope attacked the briefcase with Spike. The Death Riders came to the ring but Cope & White won the brawl. Marina Shafir managed to retrieve the briefcase.

ROH:

  • Atlantis Jr., Mascara Dorada, and Templario defeated Volador Jr., Soberano Jr., and Magnus. Atlantis won with a frog splash.

Post-Dynamite notes and ROH TV spoilers from College Park, Georgia

After AEW Dynamite went off the air in College Park, Georgia —

While Swerve Strickland was recovering in the ring after his Dynamite main event loss to Ricochet, Max Caster’s music hit. Caster came out and gave “Swervey” a chance to avenge his loss by being a part of his open challenge. Swerve headbutted Caster and dispatched him quickly.

Prince Nana then introduced Swerve. 

Swerve said it was his first pinfall since 2023. “And I had to get hit in the nuts to do it.” He said he will get his hands on “Trevor” whenever that happens.

He thanked Nana for being his manager and his confidant. Swerve promised to get the family legacy (robe) back. He wore that robe with pride. Swerve said, “We will not let you down Nana, and we won’t let the late great Jimmy Rave down either.”

Ring of Honor TV spoilers —

  • Brady Booker & Jonathan Young defeated Elijah Drago & Jimmy Wild —  Young won with a Torture Rack.
  • Satnam Singh defeated Sid Ellington — Sid looks like the runaway child of Darby Allin and Danhausen with his face paint.
  • AR Fox vs. Kevin Knight ended in a time limit draw — Fox got a two count as the bell rang. Knight played heel. The crowd was behind Fox. They shook hands and hugged afterwards. A fun match between two experienced wrestlers.

Ring of Honor spoilers from Jacksonville

During Saturday’s AEW Collision event in Jacksonville, Florida, matches were also taped for future episodes for Ring of Honor TV.

  • In an off-air segment, Big Boom AJ and Big Justice appeared with Tony Khan. MxM interrupted the segment, but Swerve Strickland came out with a chain, scaring them off. Swerve, the Costco Guys, and Khan then had fun with the crowd.
  • Griff Garrison & Preston Vance (w/ Cole Karter) defeated Eli Theseus & Gabriel Aeros. Jacked Jameson continued to try and recruit Garrison, Vance, and Karter.
  • Lee Johnson (w/ EJ Nduka) defeated Jon Davis
  • Sammy Guevara defeated Mansoor (w/ Mason Madden). After the match, MxM jumped Guevara as Mansoor went for a visual pin. The two then stole Guevara’s ROH Tag Team title belt.
  • ROH Women’s World Champion Athena (w/ Billie Starkz) defeated Carolina Cruz in a Proving Ground match. After the match, Athena yelled at Starkz to watch what she was doing and continued to beat down Cruz. Starkz was upset, causing Athena to yell at Starkz to go to the back.
  • Blake Christian defeated Adam Priest
  • ROH Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet defeated Robyn Renegade to retain the title
  • The Outrunners defeated Premier Athletes, Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & Evil Uno) and Grizzled Young Vets in a four-way match

Ring of Honor TV spoilers from Thursday in Cincinnati

The following are spoilers for future Ring of Honor TV shows taped Thursday night in Cincinnati, Ohio, before and after the AEW Collision taping.

It was their second consecutive night at the Andrew J. Brady Center and spoilers from Wednesday night are available here. Here are spoilers for this Saturday’s Collision.

Blake Christian defeated Evil Uno

Christian won with double knees to the back of the head. Entertaining match. Blake did Blake stuff. Uno did Uno stuff. 

Gates of Agony defeated Jay Lucas & Terry Yaki

Bishop Kaun pinned Lucas after a double team. Quick match. Not much offense from Lucas and Yaki.

Taya Valkyrie (w/ Deonna Purrazzo) defeated Lady Frost

Valkyrie pinned Frost after a curb stomp.

ROH Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet defeated Leila Grey

Velvet pinned Grey with a death drop from the knees. They went back and forth with lots of strikes. 

ROH TV Champion Komander & Lee Johnson went to a time limit draw in a Proving Ground match

Johnson earned a future title shot. This was slow in the beginning as Johnson dominated, then it sped up as Komander took over. 

Katsuyori Shibata defeated Shane Taylor

Shibata won with a PK. The story of the match was Shibata would out wrestle Taylor, but Taylor would come back using power and size. After the match, The Infantry and Taylor attacked Shibata. Lee Moriarty handed Taylor a chair. Before he could use it, Daniel Garcia and The Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) came to the rescue and chased off Shane Taylor Promotions. 

Story Time with Adam Cole (assumed to be just for the live crowd)

Cole thanked the crowd for being so great both nights. He said they have the best fans and we’re all AEW. Music plays. Good night, Cincinnati. 

Ring of Honor TV spoilers from Cincinnati

Ring of Honor TV spoilers from Athens, Georgia

ROH Boxing Day Brawl spoilers from Hammerstein Ballroom

This week’s edition of ROH TV was taped last night at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

The show will air on Thursday, December 26, on Honorclub and features Toni Storm’s ROH debut, Red Velvet vs. HANAKO for the women’s TV title, and Komander’s first defense of the men’s ROH TV title.

The taping also featured a segment involving Athena, Billie Starkz, and Lexi Nair that saw Athena expel Nair from the group, PWInsider reports. Athena said Nair’s ring introduction at Final Battle was terrible, and she refused to wear a Penguin outfit to go along with her two-face gear. Starkz seemed dismayed by Athena’s actions but ultimately left alongside her.

Billie Starkz & ROH Women’s World Champion Athena defeated two enhancement talents

Athena submitted a woman in Spider-Man gear with a triangle armbar. Athena was frustrated with Billie and used Billie unwillingly in double team moves. Afterwards, Billie was mad and hit the belt against the ground and they had to be pulled apart until they both took out security. Athena left Billie laying at ringside. Is this the real breakup or not (again)? 

Lee Johnson (w/ EJ Nduka) defeated Bishop Kaun (w/ Toa Liona)

After the match, Kaun wanted to shake hands but Toa shoved Lee down. Nduka came in the ring and talked trash to Liona. Maybe a tag team match next?

Queen Aminata defeated Lady Frost

Aminata beat Frost by submission with an armbar.

Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) and Shane Taylor Promotions (Lee Moriarty & Shane Taylor) defeated Dark Order (Evil Uno & Alex Reynolds) and Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett)

Moriarty cradled Bennett for the pin.

AEW Rampage and Ring of Honor TV spoilers from Kansas City

Ring of Honor TV spoilers for December 12 —

Chris Jericho & Matt Cardona Final Battle contract signing —

Jericho flipped off the crowd for chanting “Always Ready!” Jericho congratulated Matt for having the biggest match of his career. Jericho would not let Cardona speak. Finally, Cardona exploded and said, “Everything that comes out of your mouth is BULLSHIT!”

Cardona called Jericho a phony who’s using ROH, and Cardona is going to prove it when he wins the title next Friday. Cardona signed, then Jericho paused before he signed. He finally signed. 

Jericho offered a handshake. Cardona sent Jericho into Bryan Keith on the apron. Cardona hit the Rough Rider and then slammed Jericho through the table, leaving Chris laying in the ring.

AEW Rampage spoilers for December 13 —

  • Toni Storm defeated Harley Cameron —

Toni Storm (original version, not Timeless) beat Harley Cameron with the Storm Zero. Harley Cameron threw to break. Yelling in the camera, “We’ll be right back if this idiot can remember who she is!” A more competitive match than you might expect.  There was a moment where Toni was going to do something ‘timeless’ but didn’t. Maybe a sign of a mental struggle with her character. This was the first match but they taped it last.

  • Deonna Purazzo defeated Shazza Makenzie —

Purrazzo won by tap out with the Fujiwara arm bar 

  • Matt Cardona defeated Bryan Keith (w/Chris Jericho  on commentary)

After the match, Cardona in the ring and Jericho standing at the commentary desk stared each other down. Jericho took off his hat and jacket and slowly went to the ring only to wave his hands, call it off, and walk to the back with Keith. Cardona said to the crowd he’s going to beat Jericho “for each and every one of you”.

  • Tony Schiavone in the ring w/Don Callis, Lance Archer, Konosuke Takeshita, & Kyle Fletcher

Callis put over the ‘Murder Machine’ tag team, plus Takeshita and Fletcher beating Ospreay and Okada. Fletcher says he’ll beat Mark Briscoe on Collision because winning the Continental Classic is his destiny. Out came Powerhouse Hobbs and Mark Davis to start the main event vs Takeshita and Archer.

  • Powerhouse Hobbs & Mark Davis defeated Konosuke Takeshita & Lance Archer (w/ Don Callis on commentary & Kyle Fletcher standing behind him)

Hobbs pinned Archer with a spinebuster. Takeshita tried to attack Hobbs and got a spine buster for his trouble. Hobbs held up the International Title while standing over Takeshita. Hard hitting match.

Ring of Honor TV spoilers from Albany, New York

The following are Ring of Honor TV spoilers taped on Thursday in Albany, New York, as part of the AEW Collision taping.

  • EJ Nduka & Lee Johnson defeated Anthony Gangone & Goose
  • Trish Adora defeated Rachael Ellering

  • MxM Collection defeated The Iron Savages (w/ Jacked Jameson) when Mason Madden pinned Bronson
  • Tomohiro Ishii defeated Mike Bennett with a piledriver. They had a chop fest that turned into a forearm fest. This had lots of strikes and was a good match. 
  • The Righteous defeated JD Drake & Beef. Dutch pinned Drake after the Dusty Rhodes elbow. He also made fun of Dustin Rhodes and did the flip, flop, fly spot. Dustin and Sammy Guevara came out after the match and ran them off. The Righteous.
  • Billie Starkz defeated Lady Frost
  • Queen Aminata defeated Christina Marie
  • Matt Taven defeated Josh Woods (w/ Mark Sterling and Ari Daivari) in a Pure rules match. Woods tried to apply a cross armbar, but Taven hooked his legs and cradled Woods for the pin. ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty came out and taunted Taven.
  • ROH TV Champion Brian Cage defeated AR Fox with a falcon arrow.
  • Gates of Agony defeated Griff Garrison & Preston Vance when Bishop Kaun pinned Garrison after a pedigree.
  • The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Rocky Romero & Kyle O’Reilly) defeated Grizzled Young Veterans and Pat Buck when Kyle tapped Buck with the Fujiwara armbar.
  • Top Flight & Action Andretti (w/ Leila Grey) defeated Shane Taylor & The Infantry (w/ Trish Adora) when Dante Martin pinned Carlie Bravo after a frog splash. 

AEW Collision & Ring of Honor spoilers from Providence, RI

The following are spoilers from Thursday’s AEW Collision and Ring of Honor taping in Providence, Rhode Island, where several matches for this month’s Full Gear pay-per-view were made.

AEW Collision for Saturday:

  • House of Black defeated the Iron Savages in a trios match. After the match, FTR confronted House of Black and made their Full Gear four-way qualifying match confirmed for this Wednesday’s Dynamite. Malakai Black and Brody King seemingly accepted the challenge for House of Black.
  • The Outrunners defeated Top Flight to advance to the four-way Tag Team title match at Full Gear.
  • The Acclaimed cut a backstage promo about wanting to win the titles, but were confronted by MVP and Shelton Benjamin. MVP was attempting to recruit Max Caster.
  • Roderick Strong defeated The Beast Mortos. After the match, Strong was attacked by Lance Archer.
  • AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May cut a promo saying she hates women’s wrestling and is tired being around these “little sh*ts” who are in her division. 
  • Lio Rush cut a promo, talking about how he has to make a decision over whether or not to join up with MVP. He challenged Swerve Strickland to a match.
  • Kris Statlander defeated Ashley Vox. After the match, TBS Champion Mercedes Mone laid out Statlander.
  • TNT Champion Jack Perry defeated Action Andretti. Daniel Garcia came out and confronted Perry afterward, making a TNT title match for Full Gear.
  • A Julia Hart video aired where she started as her old cheerleader character, but got shot with an arrow by her current day character.
  • Nick Wayne defeated AR Fox
  • MxM Collection cut a promo about being in Johnny TV’s corner during his match next week on Collision.
  • AEW Trios Champions Wheeler Yuta, PAC & Claudio Castagnoli defeated The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, & Tomohiro Ishii) to retain. Jon Moxley, Marina Shafir and Orange Cassidy came out for the finish. Shafir hit O’Reilly with the briefcase, which led to him being pinned. After the match, everyone got in a giant brawl with the Death Riders retreating and the babyfaces standing tall.

Ring of Honor:

  • ROH Tag Team Champions Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara defeated Love, Doug & TJ Crawford. After the match, Rhodes and Guevara were beaten down by The Righteous.
  • Griff Garrison & Preston Vance defeated Waves ‘n’ Curls
  • The Righteous defeated Jimmy Diaz and Matt Raven. They challenged Rhodes and Guevara afterward. Dutch had a cowbell that he said was given to him 14 years ago by Dusty Rhodes because Dusty saw Dutch as his son. 
  • Katsuyori Shibata defeated Aaron Solo
  • Kevin Knight defeated Serpentico
  • Abadon defeated Viva Van
  • NJPW Strong Champion Gabe Kidd defeated Angelico
  • Lee Moriarty & Shane Taylor defeated JD Drake & Beef. After the match, the entire STP faction attacked Drake and Beef before they were saved by Matt Taven and Mike Bennett.
