The Friday, August 2 edition of AEW Rampage averaged 209,000 viewers on TNT, down 31.7 percent from the previous week. It’s the lowest audience total in the history of the show including times when it was moved to the afternoon or aired very late at night.
In the 18-49 demo, Rampage drew a 0.07 rating, down 30 percent from last week. This ties two other episodes that aired outside of Rampage’s regular time slot for the lowest rating in show history.
Rampage aired against Olympics coverage on NBC, USA Network, and Peacock on Friday night. The Olympics ranked first on both network and cable television.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Rampage’s overall viewership was down 51.8 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 50 percent.

The Friday, July 26 episode of AEW Rampage averaged 306,000 viewers on TNT, up 7.8 percent from the previous week. The number is consistent with what the show has been doing lately as six of the last seven episodes have averaged between 303,000 and 339,000 viewers.
Rampage drew the same 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demo that it did last week. The show has drawn that same rating in three of the last four weeks.
Rampage went head-to-head with the final hour of NBC’s tape-delayed airing of the Olympics Opening Ceremony. NBC’s coverage did the best numbers for an Opening Ceremony since the 2012 London Olympics.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Rampage’s overall viewership was down 5.6 percent while its 18-49 rating was the exact same as last year.

In the 18-49 demo, Rampage drew a 0.10 rating. That’s down 16.7 percent from last week. It ties the fourth-highest rating the show has done since May 18.
Rampage had no major sports competition on the night. This coming week, the show is set to go head-to-head with ROH’s Death Before Dishonor PPV on the Honor Club streaming service.

Rampage finished seventh on the prime time cable charts with a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 20 percent from last week and ties the highest rating the show has done in that category since the May 18 episode.
There was no major sports competition on the night as an NBA Summer League game topped the cable charts with a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo. The game averaged 514,000 viewers.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Rampage’s overall viewership was up 9.4 percent while its 18-49 rating was up 20 percent. It’s the first time the show has had a year-over-year increase in both categories since May 18.

The Friday, July 5 edition of AEW Rampage averaged 309,000 viewers on TNT, up two percent from the previous week. It’s the third-largest audience total the show has done since May 18.
Rampage finished fifth on the primetime cable charts with a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 11.1 percent from last week and is the third-highest rating the show has done in that category since the May 18 episode.
The biggest sports competition for Rampage was a Copa America game on FS1 that topped the cable charts with 1.4 million viewers and a 0.50 rating in 18-49. The soccer game drew another 340,000 viewers and 0.10 demo rating on Spanish-language station TUDN.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Rampage’s overall viewership was down 16 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 16.7 percent.

The episode went head-to-head with the Olympic trials on NBC, the NHL Draft on ESPN, and the Copa America on FS1. The cable news stations were also up with coverage of the previous night’s presidential debate.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Rampage’s overall viewership was down 32.7 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 30.8 percent.

The Friday, June 21 episode of AEW Rampage averaged 328,000 viewers on TNT, down slightly from the 334,000 viewers the show did last week. It’s the second-highest audience total Rampage has done since May 18.
Rampage finished third on the cable charts with a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demo. It’s the same rating Rampage drew last week — which also ties the best number the show has done in that category since the May 18 episode.
On cable, Rampage only trailed US Olympic trial coverage on the USA Network and the Copa America on FS1, so it was the highest ranking non-sports show on the night. It also went head-to-head with the end of game six of the NHL’s Stanley Cup Final which topped all of television in both the 18-49 demo and total viewers.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Rampage’s overall viewership was down 16.1 percent while its 18-49 rating was up 9.1 percent, so the audience this year is much younger on average.

The Friday, June 14 episode of AEW Rampage averaged 334,000 viewers on TNT. That’s up 30.5 percent from the previous week and is the highest viewership total the show has done since May 18.
Rampage drew a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 33.3 percent from last week. This is also the highest rating the show has done in that category since the May 18 episode.
The increased rating comes despite the fact the show aired opposite game four of the NBA Finals on ABC, though the game was a blowout with the result not in question by the time Rampage aired. There was also competition from the College World Series on ESPN.
Rampage ranked fourth on the cable charts in the 18-49 demo on Friday. The College World Series game topped the charts.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Rampage’s overall viewership was down 21 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 7.7 percent.

The show finished 7th on the cable charts in 18-49 and 3rd among non-sports programming, trailing My Lottery Dream Home and Gutfield.

Rampage averaged a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 12.5% from last week but ties the second lowest rating the show has done in that category since April 12th.
For the second straight week, the show aired three hours earlier due to TNT’s coverage of other sports. Last week it was the NBA, and this week it was the NHL.
As compared to the same week in 2023, when the show aired in its normal time slot, the overall viewership was down 28.6% while the 18-49 rating was down 25%.
