TNA Under Siege notes: Spitfire disbands, Cody Deaner, Raj Singh

Here are some notes coming out of Friday’s TNA Under Siege.

Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) failed to win the Knockouts Tag Team titles from Ash & Heather by Elegance on Friday after Ash defeated Threat with the rarified air (swanton) after sending Luna through a table. Per the stipulations of the title match, Spitfire must now split up as a team.

Cody Deaner failed to win a TNA contract, losing to Eddie Edwards in a match where if he won, he would officially join the TNA roster. Alisha Edwards was the deciding factor, low blowing Deaner and giving Eddie Edwards the opportunity to strike with the Boston knee party for the win.

After the match, the rest of The System came out to mock Deaner for his loss and also insulted Canada. That brought out The Northern Armory to issue a challenge leading Eric Young, Judas Icarus, and Travis Williams to defeat Moose, Brian Myers, and JDC.

Raj Singh ended up replacing Ace Austin in a six-man tag team match pitting Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Tasha Steelz, John Skyler, and Jason Hotch) against Indi Hartwell, The Rascalz, and Singh, who came out and cut a promo saying Ali was a narcissist with a God complex and everything he’s said is nothing more than him “being full of s***.” Ali ended up getting the win, hitting the 450 splash on the former Campaign Singh.

During an injury report update, TNA said that as a result of Mustafa Ali injuring Austin’s knee on Impact, he would be out of action “indefinitely.” It was reported on Thursday that Austin was leaving TNA due to his contract expiring.
