Satomura, Ricochet, and Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. are all coming off losses at NXT Worlds Collide.
Satomura was NXT UK Women’s Champion heading into Worlds Collide, but she lost her title in a triple threat match without being pinned. Mandy Rose pinned Blair Davenport to unify the NXT Women’s Championship with the NXT UK Women’s Championship.
WWE notes that “Satomura’s skills and reputation drew the attention of Roxanne Perez, who sought out the former champion to request a one-on-one showdown in the spirit of competition.”
Ricochet vs. Williams and Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. vs. Toxic Attraction were both set up by interference that took place in their matches at Worlds Collide. Williams interfered to help Carmelo Hayes retain the NXT North American Championship against Ricochet. Toxic Attraction interfered to cost Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. their chance at winning Katana Chance & Kayden Carter’s NXT Women’s Tag Team titles.
