Amazing Red set to compete at PRODUCE debut event

A new match has been announced for PRODUCE’s premiere event in June.

It was announced on Monday that Amazing Red will be returning to his hometown of Brooklyn on June 29 at Pioneer Works, taking on Fancy Ryan Clancy.

PRODUCE Volume 1, The Octopus, is the promotion’s debut event and is being presented by Orange Crush. Jonathan Gresham, who recently returned to pro wrestling after suffering two strokes last year, will be the co-producer for the event. He will also headline the show, taking on Fuminori Abe.

Other performers announced include Joey Janela, Effy, Labron Kozone, Mance Warner, Steph De Lander, Man Like Dereiss, ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo, Tracy Williams, and Mad Dog Connelly.

“PRODUCE celebrates the minds, bodies, and creative spirit of professional wrestlers. It’s wrestling that celebrates the talent, curated for fans who know ball, and those who’d like to learn—or learn to love it,” Pioneer Works’ website says. “Each edition is co-produced (booked and curated) by an active professional wrestler, who co-headlines and helps construct the undercard to introduce new talent to a broader audience. Every show features a musical act or DJ chosen with the input of that edition’s co-producer.”

Amazing Red is also set to compete during WrestleMania weekend for House of Glory, where he will take on Bandido.
