They also got attention from the Korean supergroup BTS, who attended a show in Arena Mexico earlier this month.

Both Dorada and Xelhua have made appearances for AEW & ROH in the past, with Dorada having a dual contract with AEW.

WWE partnering with MLB to sell team-inspired replica title belts

WWE has announced a partnership with Major League Baseball to sell team-inspired replica title belts.

It was announced on Thursday that WWE and MLB have entered into a multi-year partnership “to create MLB-inspired WWE Championship replica titles and accessories featuring the logos of all 30 MLB Clubs from around North America.” The merchandise line will be available in stores starting in 2022.

WWE noted that this is the first time these items have been available for fans. It’s the first licensing agreement they’ve had for replica title belts with one of the major sports leagues in the United States.

WWE traditionally sends custom title bels to professional sports teams that win championships.

In addition to the MLB team-inspired title belts, there will be replica titles for events like the World Series, MLB All-Star Game, and Home Run Derby. WWE and MLB will also create custom side plates and unique Lucha Libre masks.

WWE and MLB’s press release didn’t state what the price for the replica title belts will be.

“At MLB we are constantly looking to serve our fans with the most unique products possible so that they can support their favorite Clubs and players in the ways they want,” said Denis Nolan, MLB Senior Vice President, Global Consumer Products. “We often see baseball fans and players bringing their MLB and WWE fandom together at games and online, so this is a natural development for us to work together and offer the highest quality, official co-branded items for fans around the world.”

“We’ve been continually amazed by the reaction to custom WWE Championship title belts, and we’re excited this partnership will allow us to make them widely available to fans,” said Kevin Moore, WWE Senior Vice President, Direct-to-Consumer Products.
