Jey Uso received text from JoJo Offerman after WWE Backlash ‘Fireflies’ entrance

JoJo Offerman got emotional watching Jey Uso’s “Fireflies” entrance at WWE Backlash.

At the May 4 event in Lyon, France, the crowd created a new special entrance for Uso by holding up the lights on their phones and motioning along with him. It was reminiscent of the way fans would use their phones to create “Fireflies” for Bray Wyatt’s entrance.

Offerman and Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) were engaged to be married and had two children together prior to Wyatt’s tragic passing in August 2023. Uso told the Battleground Podcast that he received a text message from Offerman after she saw clips of his Backlash entrance. Her emotional reaction solidified that Uso wants to keep using the entrance:

His wife, JoJo, Bray Wyatt’s wife had text me and just said how much she was emotional watching. She saw clips of it on YouTube, and that let me know right there, alright, I’m going to keep it. I hope it sticks with me, man. I never asked for it. They did it and I just want to keep it with me now.

Offerman is a former WWE ring announcer.

Backlash was the first-ever WWE PPV/PLE to take place from France. Uso lost to World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest at the event. On the Battleground Podcast, Uso said the crowd made it probably his favorite experience in wrestling ever.

Since Backlash, Uso has been competing in WWE’s King of the Ring tournament. He’s facing Gunther in the semifinals on Raw this coming Monday.

JoJo shares tribute to Bray Wyatt: ‘I miss the love of my life so much it hurts’

Jojo Offerman has shared a beautiful tribute to her late fiance, Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt).

Rotunda, 36, passed away due to a heart issue on August 24. He and Offerman had been engaged since April 2022 and had two children together, a son named Knash born in 2019 and a daughter named Hyrie born in 2020.

“I miss the love of my life so much it hurts,” Offerman wrote on Instagram. “He was everything I ever wanted and everything I never knew I needed, and I let him know that everyday.”

Offerman wrote that she was so blessed to love Rotunda and be loved by him. She cries because she wishes they had more time together, but she smiles knowing how blessed she was to share the time they did have. Offerman promised that she will always show their kids how incredible Rotunda was.

Offerman’s full tribute can be seen below:

Ive written and rewritten this post so many times because there are no amount of words in this world to describe Windham and what he means to me. But I’ve also been avoiding it because in some weird way it makes all of this all too real. I miss the love of my life so much it hurts. He was everything I ever wanted and everything I never knew I needed, and I let him know that everyday. I’m so grateful that he allowed me to love him fiercely. But I am so blessed he loved me fiercely in return. He was and always will be the best person I know, my best friend, and my soulmate. Windham truly gave me a love that will last a lifetime and oh baby I thank him for that. He was the kindest, funniest, most caring man in the world. He made me feel beyond special every single day. He made everyone feel special, which was one of the million things I loved about him. Our bond was magical, something only the two of us understood. And that beautiful bond brought two perfect babies into the world. That’s another thing, he was the BEST daddy to Knash, Hyrie, Cadyn, and Kendyl. Family was EVERYTHING to him. Windham knew me better than I knew myself and he always knew how to calm my storm, as I did for him. He was the only person in the world that I could be unapologetically myself around and not only did he accept it, he loved it. I cry because I wish we had more time baby, but I smile because I was so blessed to be loved by you in the time we did have. I will always love you Windham. I will always show our kids how incredible their daddy is. I will always make sure they know how much you love them. And I will always make you proud just like you made me proud. I love you forever baby, until we meet again

Offerman is a former WWE ring announcer. She last appeared for the company prior to announcing her first pregnancy.

WWE is donating all net proceeds from Bray Wyatt merchandise sales to support four Rotunda’s children and Offerman.

Bray Wyatt & JoJo Offerman get engaged

Windham Rotunda (formerly known as Bray Wyatt in WWE) and Joseann Offerman (former WWE ring announcer JoJo) are now engaged to be married.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Offerman revealed that Rotunda proposed to her and the two are now engaged: “A million times YES! I love you Windham and I cant wait to marry you (even though it feels like we’re already married) Here’s to forever @thewindhamrotunda)

Rotunda also has two children from a previous marriage.

Rotunda and Offerman got together while both were with WWE. Rotunda was released by WWE last July and has yet to wrestle anywhere else since.

In August of last year, it was confirmed that Offerman is no longer under contract with WWE. PWInsider wrote that she had departed the company six to eight months prior to that. Offerman hadn’t appeared on WWE television since announcing her first pregnancy in 2019.

JoJo Offerman reportedly no longer under WWE contract

JoJo Offerman is reportedly no longer under WWE contract.

PWInsider reported this morning that Offerman departed from WWE ‘six to eight months ago’. A specific timeframe regarding her release wasn’t given.

Offerman signed with WWE in 2013, immediately joining the first season of Total Divas along with Eva Marie. She started out as a wrestler, with her most high profile appearance being at Survivor Series 2013, where she and the rest of the Total Divas cast defeated AJ Lee, Kaitlyn, Rosa Mendes, Tamina Snuka, and Summer Rae in a Survivor Series elimination match, where she pinned and eliminated Tamina.

Although she worked a few matches as part of the reality TV series, she soon shifted to becoming a ring announcer once she left the show following the first season.

Bray Wyatt, who was released from WWE on Saturday, is the husband of Offerman, and together they have two children. Budget cuts were cited as the reason for Wyatt’s release.

JoJo & Bray Wyatt welcome birth of second child

WWE’s JoJo (real name Joseann Offerman) and Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) have welcomed the birth of their second child together.

On their social media accounts on Thursday, the couple revealed that JoJo has given birth to their second child, who is named Hyrie Von Rotunda. JoJo and Wyatt announced the birth of their first child Knash Sixx Rotunda in May 2019.

Wyatt also has two children from a previous relationship.

JoJo, who had been a ring announcer on Raw, hasn’t appeared on WWE television since announcing her first pregnancy.

Wyatt’s most recent appearance was when he unsuccessfully challenged for Braun Strowman’s Universal Championship at Money in the Bank earlier this month. Wyatt wrestled as himself in that match instead of as his Fiend character. Strowman will defend the Universal title against The Miz & John Morrison in a handicap match at Backlash on Sunday, June 14, but WWE has made it clear that Strowman and Wyatt’s feud isn’t over.

JoJo & Bray Wyatt welcome birth of Knash Sixx Rotunda

WWE’s JoJo (Joseann Offerman) and Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) have welcomed the birth of their first child together.

Wyatt posted a picture today announcing that JoJo has given birth to their son. Wyatt wrote that the baby was born today (May 18) and is named Knash Sixx Rotunda.

JoJo announced her pregnancy in March and noted that the baby was expected to arrive in June. The news explained why she hadn’t been appearing in her ring announcing role on WWE television or at house shows. When announcing her pregnancy, JoJo wrote that she and Wyatt would return to WWE when the time was right.

Wyatt also has two children from a previous relationship.

Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House videos began airing last month. Four episodes have aired thus far. Wyatt has yet to wrestle since the videos started airing, but the latest episode hinted that his in-ring return could come soon. Wyatt debuted a new look with a mask at the end of the episode.

WWE’s JoJo (Joseann Offerman) and Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) have confirmed that they’re expecting a child.

In an Instagram post today, JoJo announced her pregnancy and revealed that the baby is a boy and is expected to arrive in June. The baby’s name is Knash.

JoJo wrote that she and Wyatt will make their WWE returns when the time is right. She hasn’t been on television or on house shows in her ring announcing role recently due to the pregnancy. Though he’s made limited house show appearances since then, Wyatt hasn’t been on WWE TV since August.

“I’m so excited to announce baby Knash, coming this June! This has been the most beautiful, incredible experience of my life so far,” JoJo wrote. “I am so happy that I was able to use this time to enjoy this privately but now I’m ready to share it with you all. I could not be happier!!! This truly has been the biggest blessing. And words can not explain how ready and excited we are to meet you my little man! I love you more than you’ll ever know. Oh and WWE universe WE will be back when the time is right”

Big night of returns on WWE Raw

It was a big night of returns on WWE television tonight.

Stephanie McMahon, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, Bo Dallas, JoJo, and Nia Jax all returned to TV on this week’s episode of Raw. Stephanie making an appearance was the storyline reason for Kurt Angle wrestling at Survivor Series, with her naming Angle the captain of Raw’s team for the pay-per-view. She threatened to find a new general manager if Raw doesn’t annihilate SmackDown.

No other members of Raw’s men’s division team for Survivor Series have been announced yet, but Dave Meltzer reported today that Strowman, Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns & Finn Balor would be teaming with Angle. Joe returned to Raw for the first time since he suffered a knee injury at a house show in August, defeating Apollo Crews in his first match back.

Strowman also returned at the end of tonight’s episode, emerging from a garbage truck like the one he was put in at TLC and going after The Miz, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel. Dallas and JoJo were back on Raw after being off the road in recent weeks due to Dallas and Bray Wyatt being ill.

Raw’s women’s division team did add a member for Survivor Series, with Nia Jax joining Alicia Fox as she came back to Raw and defeated Bayley tonight. Jax had been taking time off and was scheduled to return today before the Raw roster flies to Glasgow, Scotland to begin WWE’s European tour.
