Ring announcer Bobby Cruise signs new contract with AEW & ROH

Longtime ring announcer Bobby Cruise will remain #AllElite for the foreseeable future.

The 52-year-old took to X to announce that he re-signed with AEW and Ring of Honor this week ahead of his contract expiring this Sunday.

The father of two has been the main ring announcer for ROH since 2003 and has remained with the company through its various iterations including when Tony Khan bought it in 2022.

He also added AEW ring announcing duties to his docket in 2022 and has appeared frequently on Collision since its inception.

Beginning his career in 1994, the Rochester, Massachusetts, native was elected into the New England Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2015.

Here’s a look at Thursday’s ROH lineup on HonorClub from Las Vegas of which Cruise will be part of:

Ian Riccaboni, Bobby Cruise to appear at Impact Hard to Kill

Ian Riccaboni and Bobby Cruise are both set to be at tonight’s Impact Hard to Kill event.

Impact announced on social media today that Riccaboni will call the ROH World title match between champion Jonathan Gresham and Chris Sabin. Cruise, the long time ring announcer for Ring of Honor, will be the ring announcer for the match.

Ring of Honor has gone under a hiatus since the Final Battle event that took place on December 11, with the company saying they will be back by April. Gresham, who won the ROH World title at Final Battle, has defended it against the likes of AJ Gray and Adam Priest in the last month. He is scheduled to defend the title against Blake Christian at GCW’s event at the Hammerstein Ballroom on January 23.

Impact Hard to Kill will take place live tonight at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas.

Broadcasting team announced for All In

All In has their broadcasting team set for the upcoming September event.

Their Twitter account today revealed that their broadcasting team will comprise of  Impact backstage interviewer Alicia Atout, Impact and New Japan color commentator Don Callis, former WWE backstage interviewer and announcer Sean Mooney,  ROH announcer Ian Riccaboni, PWG announcer Excalibur, ROH ring announcer Bobby Cruise and former WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts. It wasn’t announced what roles each would have on the broadcast, though the Young Bucks did ask Don Callis to do announcing when they made him part of All In last month during a New Japan’s Dominion event.

Cody Rhodes talked to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio this past weekend about distribution methods for All In. Rhodes mentioned that there would be both internet streaming and pay-per-view options. Despite that, no specific details have been announced as of this writing.

All In will take place on September 1 at the Sears Center Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, which is 25 miles from Chicago.
