New matches and stipulations set for AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday
New matches and segments are set for AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday.
The start of this week’s Collision saw PAC confront Orange Cassidy, challenging him to a match for Tuesday which will air on head-to-head with NXT Showdown.
This will be his first match back since April when he was injured during a match against Swerve Strickland. He returned at All Out, helping Jon Moxley defeat Darby Allin in a coffin match.
Moxley will also be in action on Tuesday, taking on Tomohiro Ishii. Moxley will soon face Allin once again, this time in an I Quit match at WrestleDream.
Hangman Page and Samoa Joe will also meet face-to-face on Tuesday. The two teamed up together on last week’s Dynamite, but Joe became hostile towards Hangman after some miscommunication following their match, setting up the World Championship match at WrestleDream on October 18.
A TNT title match was also added, with Kyle Fletcher defending the TNT title against Kyle O’Reilly in what is being billed as ‘Kyle vs. Kyle 2.’ It will the second time they go against one another, with fans during their last match frequently chanting for “Kyle”.
New stipulations were also added to the upcoming Brodido vs. Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita match. It will now be a double jeopardy match: if either Okada or Takeshita win, they earn a future AEW Tag Team title match. But if Bandido or Brody King win, whoever scores the pinfall faces Okada for his AEW Unified title.
After Collision went off the air, it was announced that Jurrassic Express will also be in action. It will be their first match as a team since 2022:
Here is the updated lineup for AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday. It was announced that like the last episode of AEW Dynamite, this show will also be two in a half hours.

Three matches set for AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday
The first three matches are set for next week’s Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite.
After successfully defending her title against Riho at last month’s All Out, TBS Champion Mercedes Mone will look to keep her near-500 day run as champion going in an open challenge against “someone local from Florida.”
After the Gates of Agony defeated Swirl during Wednesday’s Dynamite, The Hurt Syndicate came out to confront the GOA and Ricochet and challenge them to a trios street fight this Tuesday.
Also during Dynamite, Don Callis issued a backstage challenge to reigning AEW World Tag Team Champion Brodido for a match against AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita, who was not happy about Callis offering up the match. It was never formally announced so it’s unclear if it’s for the titles.
The live show from Jacksonville, Florida, is taking place on Tuesday with Collision airing live on Wednesday due to the Major League Baseball playoffs on TBS.
Current AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday lineup:
- TBS Champion Mercedes Mone defends against TBA
- The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) vs. Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) in a street fight
- AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido (Brody King & Bandido) defend against Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita (title or non-title TBA)
Britt Baker to miss AEW Dynamite due to illness
Britt Baker is off Title Tuesday.
Tony Khan announced on TikTok that Baker is unable to travel and is “very, very sick.” As a result, she will be out of Tuesday’s special edition of Dynamite. She was scheduled to face Willow Nightingale in a match where the winner would challenge Mariah May for the AEW Women’s Championship at WrestleDream this coming weekend. Khan announced that a four-way will now take place on Tuesday, where the winner between Nightingale, Saraya, Jamie Hayter, and Nyla Rose will become the new number one contender.
Nightingale and May have confronted one another in recent weeks, including on the most recent episode of Collision. After Nightingale defeated Trish Adora, the two attacked one another with May escaping following a powerbomb attempt by Nightingale.
The updated card for AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday:
- Bryan Danielson & Wheeler Yuta vs. Claudio Castagnoli & PAC
- NJPW Strong Women’s Champion & TBS Champion Mercedes Mone defends both belts against Emi Sakura
- Winner faces Mariah May at WrestleDream for the AEW Women’s World Championship: Willow Nightingale vs. Saraya vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Nyla Rose

Women’s World title eliminator, Mercedes Mone double title defense signed for AEW Dynamite

After the events of the last few weeks, the AEW Women’s World title scene will get clarified on next week’s Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite.
Former AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker will take on former CMLL Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale in a title eliminator match. The winner will challenge reigning champion Mariah May at next Saturday’s AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view.
Nightingale got into a scrap with May both this past Wednesday and on Saturday’s Collision after the former defeated Trish Adora. That was preceded by a Baker vignette in which she called out May for a shot following her win over Serena Deeb Wednesday.
TBS & NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone will put both of her titles on the line against the returning Emi Sakura.
Mone, who has a feud with Kris Statlander in her sights, has defended the TBS title seven times and the Strong title just once. Sakura hasn’t competed in AEW since April and has never held an AEW title.
In another new development, Hook called out whoever took out Taz prior to Dynamite to confront him face-to-face. Taz was written off in storyline due to having knee replacement surgery.
After being attacked by Brody King on Collision and getting his WrestleDream open challenge accepted, Darby Allin has requested a face-to-face confrontation with the big man.
Here’s the current lineup for Tuesday in Spokane, Washington, with a special start time of 9 PM Eastern:
- Bryan Danielson & Wheeler Yuta vs. Claudio Castagnoli & PAC
- TBS & NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone defends both titles against Emi Sakura
- Willow Nightingale vs. Britt Baker in an AEW Women’s World title eliminator
- Hook calls out Taz’s attackers
- Darby Allin and Brody King face-to-face confrontation
AEW announces Title Tuesday & fifth anniversary editions of Dynamite
While all eyes for AEW are on this month’s All In, the company has begun laying out its plans for special fall editions of Dynamite with both Title Tuesday and their fifth anniversary shows.
The fifth anniversary show will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, October 2nd — just one week after the company’s Grand Slam event in Queens, New York.
Now an annual tradition due to the Major League Baseball playoffs on TBS, this year’s Title Tuesday edition of Dynamite is set for one week later on Tuesday, October 8th in Spokane, Washington. It will essentially act as the go-home show for that Saturday’s WrestleDream in Tacoma, Washington, as no Collision will take place that week.
It also will go head-to-head with WWE NXT in their second week on The CW. Last year’s competition famously saw WWE bring Cody Rhodes, Undertaker, John Cena and others to NXT against that week’s Dynamite.
