AEW returning to Chicago for Forbidden Door go-home show

While this year’s AEW Forbidden Door pay-per-view won’t emanate from Chicago like last year, the go-home shows will.

AEW announced Wednesday that the Wednesday, June 21st Dynamite will be held at Chicago’s Wintrust Arena with that Friday’s Rampage to be taped there afterward.

AEW’s Dynamite schedule through Wednesday, July 12th is now complete.

AEW makes date change for summer Canadian tour

A week after it was first announced, there has been a date change to AEW’s summer Canadian tour.

The live edition of AEW Rampage previously set for Friday, July 14th at the Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan, has been moved to Saturday, July 8th at the same venue. The onsale date will still be this Friday.

Even though it’s on a Saturday, the new promotional poster states it will be an AEW “televised event” which could mean a Battle of the Belts special or perhaps something to do with the rumored third AEW TV show coming this year.

It’s unknown as of now if the Wednesday, July 12th Dynamite in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, will include a Rampage taping.

Here’s the adjusted schedule for the Canadian run that begins with the second Forbidden Door pay-per-view in Toronto and ends with an AEW house show in Calgary:

AEW announces Forbidden Door II as part of summer Canadian tour

Ahead of their debut Wednesday in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, AEW announced a Canadian tour for this summer which will include the return of their Forbidden Door pay-per-view with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Their second-ever cross-promoted PPV will take place at Toronto’s ScotiaBank Centre on Sunday, June 25th — a date that had been identified some time ago thanks to a cable provider’s listed upcoming schedule.

This will be AEW’s second appearance in the city after they ran Toronto’s Coca-Cola Coliseum for both Dynamite and Rampage last October.

The event will be part of a six-show Canadian tour that will see the company explore new markets in the Great White North with live Dynamites, a live Rampage, and a house show.

AEW Dynamite to debut in San Diego

AEW will make their San Diego, California, debut this May.

Announced on Wednesday, the Double or Nothing fallout edition of Dynamite and taped Rampage will emanate from the Viejas Arena with tickets going on sale next Friday.

It’s the latest California debut for AEW as they have appeared in Fresno, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Daly City this year in addition to returning to Los Angeles.

AEW announces two new Dynamite dates for May

AEW has announced two new May dates for Dynamite which will see the promotion return to Detroit, Michigan, and Austin, Texas.

They made their debut in Detroit last June and will head back to the Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday, May 10th for both Dynamite and a taped Rampage afterward.

On the following Wednesday (May 17th), Dynamite will debut at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. AEW has appeared frequently in the past at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas, which is a suburb of Austin.

AEW announces two new Dynamite dates

AEW announced two new Dynamite dates on Wednesday night, including their debut in Sunrise, Florida.

A live Dynamite and Rampage taping will take place on Wednesday, April 26th at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, home to the NHL’s Florida Panthers and in the greater Fort Lauderdale area.

That will be followed the next week by Dynamite’s return to Baltimore, Maryland, on Wednesday, May 3rd. It will mark their first show at the CFG Bank Arena (fka Royal Farms Arena) since 2019’s Full Gear.

AEW returning to Milwaukee and Pittsburgh in April

AEW has announced return dates to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for future editions of Dynamite.

They will return to the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena for the Wednesday, April 12th live edition of Dynamite and subsequent taping of AEW Rampage.

On the following Wednesday (April 19th), AEW will bring a live Dynamite and Rampage taping to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Petersen Events Center.

AEW Battle of the Belts VI heading to Rhode Island

AEW will make their Rhode Island debut this April with a live Rampage and the sixth edition of AEW Battle of the Belts.

The show will emanate from Kingston, Rhode Island’s Ryan Center at the University of Rhode Island on Friday, April 7th. 

In another new date, AEW will return to St. Louis, Missouri’s Chaifetz Arena for Dynamite and Rampage on Wednesday, March 29th. 

Tickets will go on sale for both on Friday, January 13th.

AEW announces two new 2023 dates

AEW announced two new dates for their 2023 schedule — both returns to cities they have previously run.

On Wednesday, March 22nd, a live Dynamite and taped Rampage will air at the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri.

Two weeks later on Wednesday, April 5th, AEW will return to the UBS Arena on Long Island, New York, for a live Dynamite and taped Rampage.

Both new dates go on sale Friday, December 23rd.

AEW returning to Canada for Tuesday edition of Dynamite

AEW’s run on new locations in 2023 continues with three new cities announced Wednesday night — one of which includes Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

In their second-ever Canadian visit, AEW will bring a special Tuesday edition of Dynamite to the birthplace of Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega on Tuesday, March 14th at the 16,000-seat Canada Life Centre.

AEW also announced they will debut in Laredo, Texas, on Wednesday, February 15th at the 10,000-seat Sames Auto Arena for a live Dynamite and Rampage taping as well as a live Dynamite and Rampage taping for Sacramento, California, on Wednesday, March 8th at the Golden 1 Center — the Revolution fallout episode.

All three dates go on sale on Friday, December 16th.

AEW announces debut dates in Dayton, Ohio & El Paso, Texas

A theme of AEW’s early-2023 schedule: new cities.

During Wednesday’s Dynamite, two new February dates for Dynamite/Rampage shows were announced with Dayton, Ohio (Wednesday, February 1) and El Paso, Texas (Wednesday, February 8) joining the mix.

Both shows go on sale on Friday, December 9th.

The two new cities join a growing list of new cities that includes Seattle, Washington; San Francisco, California; Portland, Oregon; Phoenix, Arizona; Fresno, California; and Lexington, Kentucky.

AEW announces 2023 debuts for London, Phoenix & San Francisco

AEW will continue their run of new West Coast cities in early-2023, announcing debut dates in both Phoenix, Arizona, and San Francisco, California, on Wednesday.

They also will be heading to London, England, next year as well.

On Wednesday, February 22nd, AEW Dynamite will head to the 17,000+ seat Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, that will also include a Rampage taping afterward. 

Then one week, later, Dynamite will debut at the famed Cow Palace in San Francisco on Wednesday, March 1st followed by a live Rampage at the same venue on Friday, March 3rd.

After announcing last week that they would make their United Kingdom debut next year, they revealed London as a location Wednesday but with no date or location. AEW head Tony Khan has mentioned in the past that he wants to do a show at Craven Cottage, home to the Khan’s Fulham F.C. soccer team.

AEW will also make their debuts in Seattle, Washington; Portland, Oregon; and Fresno, California, in January.

AEW to make Portland, Oregon, debut in January

AEW announced three new dates in three new locations Wednesday, including the company’s debut in Portland, Oregon.

AEW’s Portland debut at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Friday, January 6th will be a combination of Rampage and the first Battle of the Belts of the new year. It’s unknown if AEW will air both shows live back-to-back as they did in October for the first time.

The promotion also announced debut dates for Fresno, California, on Wednesday, January 18th for Dynamite/Rampage at the Save Mart Center, and Lexington, Kentucky, on Wednesday, January 25th for Dynamite/Rampage at the legendary Rupp Arena.

The Portland and Fresno dates will be part of a January West Coast tour that includes Seattle, Washington, and a return to Los Angeles, California.

AEW returning to Los Angeles in January 2023

Roughly six months after they made their Los Angeles, California, debut, AEW will return with a live Dynamite & Rampage taping at The Forum on Wednesday, January 11th. 

They sold out for their Wednesday, June 1st debut in the same building, nearly drawing a $1 million gate for the fallout from the previous Sunday’s Double or Nothing.

AEW also announced the completion of their 2022 schedule with a return to Broomfield, Colorado’s 1STBANK Arena on Wednesday, December 28th for a live New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite and Rampage taping. It will be their first trip back to greater Denver since the March 4th, 2020, Dynamite.

AEW announces dates & locations for Winter is Coming, Holiday Bash

AEW has officially announced dates for both Winter is Coming and the Holiday Bash editions of Dynamite and Rampage.

As AEW head Tony Khan hinted at last month in an interview, Winter is Coming will return to Garland, Texas, on Wednesday, December 14th. 

It will be the third Winter is Coming with the previous two featuring AEW World title matches and either the Dynamite Diamond Ring battle royal or the finals for the ring.

That show will be followed up by their annual Holiday Bash edition of Dynamite, set for Wednesday, December 21st in San Antonio, Texas. They will tape the Holiday Bash edition of Rampage that night as well.

The onsale for both shows will be on Friday, October 21st.

As of now, AEW will stop in Texas three times in December as they announced the December 3rd Dynamite for Cedar Park, Texas, last week. The only remaining date to be filled out for the rest of their year is Wednesday, December 28th.
