Image c/o @WWENXT. Results gathered via Twitter. Estimated attendance of 400.

– Angelo Dawkins defeated Dan Matha
– Sawyer Fulton & Alexander Wolfe defeated Patrick Clark & Kenneth Crawford
– Hideo Itami defeated Noah Potjes
– In-ring promo with The Ealy Twins, Gabriel and Uriel. These men are huge. They’ve worked security for most shows the past year and should be wrestling more soon.
Submitted by Louis Izzo from the Venice Community Center with additional notes from @RobbyDeese
Full house in Venice, probably in the neighborhood of 300-325 people. Crowd seemed less enthusiastic than the last time they came to town. Probably has to do with the lack of star power by comparison.
– Jeet Rama defeated Noah Potjes
Rama won with a roll-up. Crowd was into Rama and chanted his name.
– Niko Bogojevic & Tucker Knight defeated Chris Atkins & Kishan Raftaar
This was a quick squash match. Bogojevic and Knight won with the Vader Bomb, then gave a post-match interview. But they were interrupted by The Revival to set up a match for later.
– Billie Kay defeated Daria Berenato
Kay won with a big boot.
– Buddy Murphy defeated Adrian Jaoude
First match to have much crowd energy. Murphy played chicken and over-sold whenever possible.
– Tino Sabbatelli defeated Angelo Dawkins
This was a long match at about 15 minutes. They played it face vs. face early before Dawkins went into heel mode.
– No Way Jose defeated Patrick Clark
Jose won with the Cobra Clutch Slam. Crowd really liked Jose. Match went longer than expected, with Clark getting some decent offense.
– Aliyah did an interview. She heeled it up, saying Breaking Ground made her look stupid, and soon she will be relevant and directly called out Asuka.
– NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival defeated Niko Bogojevic & Tucker Knight
The titles weren’t on the line. The crowd was heavily behind Bogojevic and Knight. Dawson pinned Bogojevic with his feet on the ropes and Wilder holding them in place. Bogojevic and Knight dominated the first five minutes with Dash and Dawson bumping all over the place.
Bogojevic took the brunt of their offense. Revival looked as smooth as any team in either NXT or on the main roster. Good match.
– NXT Women’s Champion Asuka defeated Ember Moon to retain her title
Moon worked hard and this was the best match of the night, but there wasn’t a huge reaction from the crowd other than occasional chanting for Asuka.
Asuka won with the Asuka Lock. They shook hands afterwards out of respect. Asuka was a total face here after the match.

New Day won after Big E came out for the distraction.
– Roman Reigns & Finn Balor defeated Seth Rollins & Chris Jericho
This was the best match of the night. Crowd wasn’t fully into it at first, but the sheer hard work of the wrestlers got them excited. The heels tried to cut a promo on the town but they’re so entertaining that they got kind of cheered.
Reigns got a good amount of boos at first but was mostly cheered by the end of the match.
– WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte w/Dana Brooke
Banks successfully defended her title when she made Charlotte tap with the Banks Statement.
– Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens
A good house show match but nothing special. They’re both excellent workers who have done it so many times that it was just effortless for them to put on a good match.
– John Cena defeated AJ Styles
This was the second best match of the night. Cena got the biggest pop of anyone on the show. People were into all the false finishes with Styles escaping the AA and hitting the Styles Clash. Styles kicked out of an AA before all the shenanigans with run-ins and ref bumps began.
As they’ve done previously on the tour, they announced an NXT tour of Australia next year, showing Samoa Joe, Bayley, and Shinsuke Nakamura so we’ll see what happens there.

– Apollo Crews defeated Sheamus
Crews won with a roll-up. Crowd was hot. Sheamus was met with loud boos.

Big E came out during the match to his usual entrance which led to the finish. Kingston pinned Anderson off the distraction. The crowd went ballistic when Big E came out.

Another fantastic match. Banks won with the Banks Statement and got a bigger reaction than anyone bar the main event.
– Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens
Great match. Zayn won after reversing a powerbomb into a roll-up.
– John Cena defeated AJ Styles
The crowd was white hot and there were dueling chants all match long. Anderson and Gallows interfered after the ref was knocked out but Cena took them out by himself. Cena won with the AA.
Cena cut a promo post-match apologizing to the crowd for missing the Australian tour in 2015. He missed due to Rollins breaking his nose.
Uso came out solo and Fandango was accompanied by Tyler Breeze.
– Intercontinental Champion The Miz defeated Darren Young & Titus O’Neil in a triple threat match to retain his title.
Miz won after Young put his finisher on O’Neil, but Miz knocked Young out the ring. O’Neil played a tweener the whole time.
– Sami Zayn defeated Baron Corbin by roll-up. Corbin took Zayn out after the match.
– WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) defeated The Club (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) to retain their titles
It was Woods and Kingston in the match. New Day came out without Big E, until the finish where Big E distracted Gallows leading to New Day getting the win.

Great back and forth match. Finish came when Rollins was getting frustrated over his near falls and played to the crowd on the mic. When he returned to the ring, he got caught with the spear.

– Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated Riddick Moss
Pre-match promo by Moss, with him going in on everyone, including Steve Austin and Finn Balor with his “cute little demon costume.” He mocked Mick Foley, Daniel Bryan, and when he got to Stephanie McMahon he said “Sup, Girl?” He said that if he’s not on the main roster in a year he will go somewhere else.
Andrade wins the match with the knees to the face in the corner, followed by a wristlock DDT.
– Billie Kay defeated Daria Berenato
The MMA fighter Berenato was rebounding off the ropes and got caught with a big boot from Billie Kay for the win.
– Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano defeated NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival by DQ
Great southern tag team match, Revival got themselves disqualified by pulling the referee out after Gargano and Ciampa had the match won with their double team finish. Revival retained their titles. After the match, Ciampa and Gargano challenged them for the titles at TakeOver.
– Bobby Roode defeated Oney Lorcan
The crowd absolutely loved Bobby Roode. He won via submission using a full nelson, and left to a chorus of cheers and worship.

The building wasn’t sold out by any stretch.
– No Way Jose defeated Riddick Moss
Good match and solid heel work from Moss. Jose won with the wind-up punch followed by a Cobra Clutch slam.

Slow match until the finish. Berenato worked the ground with body scissors for a while, but Moon won with a diving stunner off the top rope.

Lorcan with a plethora of headlocks, causing a “Headlock City” chant. Murphy responded with a series of chinlocks. Lorcan won with a running, spinning forearm/uppercut.

Sloppy match at times. Aries got caught trying to get a dirty pin using the ropes. Rawley won with a running punch in the corner.
– Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa defeated NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival by DQ
Revival retained the tag titles. This was the match of the night.
– NXT Women’s Champion Asuka defeated Billie Kay to retain her title.
Good match. Asuka won with a kick to the head.
– Shinsuke Nakamura & Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated NXT Champion Samoa Joe & Bobby Roode
Good back and forth match. Roode took the pin after Nakamura hit the Kinshasa.
I’m here in Winter Haven, FL, for NXT Live action. Expecting a crowd of 300.
– Richard Swann defeated Noah Potjes
Potjes took most of the match and kept Swann grounded. Swann eventually hit a big superkick and a roll-through pin where he even ended up in a headstand. Crowd loved Swann, he was very over tonight
– Sara Lee defeated Liv Morgan
They kept this one simple. Sara used some holds to keep Liv controlled, Liv missed a spinning heel kick, and Sara was able to get the leg and lock in an STF-type submission for the win.
– Hugo Knox defeated Tino Sabbatelli
Mean guy match. They traded power stuff until Knox was able to get the pin.
– King Constantine defeated Alexander Wolfe
The 300-plus pound King Constantine returns to action here. Wolfe tried to keep him grounded, but wasn’t able to stop the powerful comeback and was finished with a torture rack into a face-down slam for the pin. This guy is huge.
– Aliyah defeated Mandy Rose
Mandy cut a pre-match promo about being a bikini model champion. She challenged anyone who wants to face her to come on out. Aliyah answered the challenge and they had an even match until Aliyah hit a fisherman’s suplex for the win.
– In-ring promo by Steve Cutler about how he’s sick of hearing about the draft, that he’s sick of this new generation worrying about everything but wrestling. The only thing that matters is what happens in this ring
– The Authors of Pain defeated Tucker Knight & Niko Bogojevic
The definition of a hoss fight as they just powered each other around until the Authors hit their hold-up lariat finish. Brutal and hard hitting.
– Hideo Itami defeated Beautiful Blonde Blake
Blake tried to wear down Hideo in a snug headlock, the crowd was heckling him the entire match. Itami fired up with a series of kicks and some good near falls, countering each other before Itami nails the running knee for the win.
Nice pop for Golden Truth, especially for R-Truth who was raised in nearby Charlotte. A really solid opening match. R-Truth got the blind tag and performed a sunset flip into the ring on Tyler Breeze for the pin.
– Jack Swagger defeated Curtis Axel
Decent match. Swagger made Axel submit with the ankle lock.
Axel got on the mic and said Swagger should’ve been disqualified for slamming his ankle into the ring post. He said he’s frankly pissed off about being the final pick in the draft and challenges anyone in the locker room to another match.
– Kane defeated Curtis Axel
Hellfire and brimstone music hit and out came Kane. Kane no-sold a microphone to the head shot by Axel, then hit the chokeslam and got the pin in about 15 seconds.
– Enzo & Big Cass defeated The Dudley Boyz
Big pop for Enzo and Cass who did their normal pre-match thing, which the crowd was really into. Long match with lots of comedic stalling, but it did not affect the crowd. Enzo hit an extremely short Bada Boom Shakalaka on Bubba Ray for the pin.
– Dolph Ziggler defeated Baron Corbin
While the crowd wasn’t into it much, it was a great match. Little to no reaction for Corbin, but he worked hard to catch — and finally received — heat. Crowd popped for Ziggler’s superkick and pinfall.
Ziggler cut a promo about SummerSlam. He said how much he respects Dean Ambrose, but he’s coming to take his title.
– Cesaro & Neville defeated The Vaudevillains
Another terrific match. After teasing it two previous times, Cesaro finally got Simon Gotch in the swing for 20 rotations. Then Neville hit the Red Arrow on him for the pin.
– Sasha Banks & Becky Lynch defeated Dana Brooke & Summer Rae
After about a 10-minute intermission, the crowd came alive for both Becky and Sasha. Probably the biggest pops of the night to that point.
Not the greatest match, but better than I anticipated as Sasha and Becky carried Dana and Summer pretty well. Sasha reversed Summer’s roll-up attempt into the Bank Statement for the submission win.
– Kalisto defeated Alberto Del Rio
Basically did the same things we’ve seen from them in the past. Okay reaction. Kalisto got the roll-up pin.
– WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose defeated Chris Jericho in an Asheville Street Fight to retain his title
Jericho came out to a loud mix of boos and cheers, then drew massive heat for repeatedly saying how happy he was to be back in “Nashville.” After the third “Nashville” reference, ring announcer whispered in his ear and he said “Oh Asheville, no wonder this place is a dump,” etc.
Ambrose came out to a loud ovation. While billed a street fight, they really only left the ring to get weapons from underneath. Both gave and received kendo stick shots and chair shots. Jericho nearly got Ambrose in the Walls of Jericho, but Ambrose flipped him out. Jericho later hit the Codebreaker, but Ambrose kicks out.
Ambrose set up a table in the corner, then reversed the whip into it and Jericho broke the table. Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds for the win.
Post-match, Ambrose spent about 10 minutes taking selfies, signing autographs, and high-fiving everyone around the perimeter of the ring and stage.
Overall, a really fun show. It was my first house show in many years and I was impressed with how quickly one match followed the other with very few interruptions for ads, etc.
Submitted by Preston Feller & Jason Parker from the Savannah Civic Center on Saturday night:
– Zack Ryder & Jey Uso defeated Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows when Uso pinned Anderson.

Young and O’Neil weren’t billed as the Primetime Players and both came out to their own music. Young got the victory for his team.
– Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens
Not a classic, but still a great match. Owens was great with the crowd and talked smack with a kid the entire match. Zayn was over and had the pop of the night.
– Roman Reigns defeated AJ Styles & Seth Rollins
Reigns got a lot of boos. Lots of good action and double team work by Styles and Rollins. Rollins needed some medic work for some bleeding from his arm and the match stalled for about five minutes. There were dueling chants for Styles and Reigns. Reigns hit the spear on Styles for the win.
There were issues with security trying to stop fans from taking pictures.

– Golden Truth defeated Breezango
Golden Truth got a decent reception, there were lots of comedy spots.
– Jack Swagger defeated Curtis Axel
Swagger got some USA chants and Axel got decent heat in a fairly boring match. Swagger won, but Axel insisted that he cheated because Swagger threw his leg into the turnbuckle. Axel asked for a new match with a random challenger.
– Kane defeated Curtis Axel
After Axel asked for a new challenger, Kane came out and gave him a chokeslam for the win. Kane got a decent pop with this being Knoxville and him being from the area.
– Enzo & Cass defeated The Dudley Boys
Enzo and Cass got some of the loudest cheers of the night. They did a way overlong comedy spot where Enzo stole D-Von’s glasses. It was finally abandoned when some booing started creeping in. Enzo and Cass won with the Rocket Launcher.
– Dolph Ziggler defeated Baron Corbin
Crowd was nearly silent during Corbin’s entrance. Ziggler got an alright reception. Corbin hit the End of Days, but Ziggler kicked out. Ziggler then won with a superkick. Ziggler praised Ambrose but said that he would win the championship at SummerSlam.
There was a mixture of cheers and boos for this, maybe a little heavier on the boos.
– Cesaro & Neville defeated The Vaudevillains
Great match. Cesaro did his usual spots plus a weird move where he put English in a wristlock then vaulted onto his shoulders, which required English to keep his arms extended while Cesaro lifted him vertically. They botched the first try but got it on the second.
Neville hit the Red Arrow and got the pin. Seemingly half of the floor seats had Cesaro section signs. Not sure if those were just distributed by someone but there were a ton.
Cesaro got on the mic and cut a promo thanking everyone for the signs and saying that the fans may be able to change some minds if they keep supporting him. He also praised Neville for not losing a step after coming back from injury.
= Becky Lynch & WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks defeated Dana Brooke & Summer Rae
Becky and Sasha got plenty of cheers, though it wasn’t a particularly good match. Dana and Summer botched some tag move, but I honestly couldn’t tell what they were trying to do. Sasha won with the Banks Statement on Summer.
– Kalisto defeated Alberto Del Rio
Alright match, similar to their US title feud matches. Del Rio wasn’t especially heelish, as he frequently tried to get cheers. Kalisto won with a roll-up.
– WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose defeated Chris Jericho
Jericho cut an awesome heel promo disparaging Knoxville and the time he spent here early in his career. By far the loudest booing of the night. Ambrose got a big pop, around the level of Enzo and Cass.
They smacked each other around with a kendo stick and a chair before Ambrose put Jericho through a table in the corner, then hit him with Dirty Deeds for the win.
Submitted by Jason Hess from the Revention Music Center
NXT returned to Houston for the first time since September 2015 for another show at the Revention Music Center. Of the available seats, the only empty ones were the last row on the floor on each side.
– Mojo Rawley defeated Buddy Murphy with a lariat/clothesline in 6:26.
Mojo was over with the crowd and was good in the opening role.
– Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated Wesley Blake with a modified DDT in 7:50.
Blake had some “Chris Jericho” taunts thrown at him, and the match was alright. There were some rough transitions in the match, but Almas wowed the crowd more than once, receiving “Si” chants.
– Bayley & Carmella defeated Mandy Rose & Daria Berenato in 9:54.
Carmella did some pre-match promo work and got a “How You Doing” chant. Bayley got the “We want some Bayley” chant as well. Mandy’s promo was met with boos, and the match was on after the heels threatened to go back to the dressing room, only to be chased and brought back to the ring by the faces.
Great heat on Carmella with a good hot tag tease before Bayley finally got the tag. Bayley and Carmella hit their finishers for a double pin on the Tough Enough team.
– Hideo Itami defeated Austin Aries in 11:09.
The crowd was into both guys and this match was great. Itami teased the GTS before hitting a running knee for the win. Itami received “Welcome back” chants.
– NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival defeated Johnny Gargano & Tommaso CIampa in 19:16 to retain their titles.
Chants included “Johnny Wrestling” and “This is awesome.” Most of the time, I feel that the “This is awesome” chant is overused, but for this match, the chant is justified. Dash and Dawson retained after cheating at the finish. Post-match saw the Houston crowd give a rousing ovation for Gargano and Ciampa.
– NXT Women’s Champion Asuka defeated Nia Jax in 10:38 to retain her title.
The crowd chanted “Asuka’s gonna kill you” at Jax. Both women worked really hard. Jax got a huge pop by doing a semi-People’s Elbow with a DX crotch chop thrown in, but she missed it. Asuka then won with a kick to the head.
– Finn Balor & Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Bobby Roode & NXT Champion Samoa Joe in 17:18 when Balor pinned Roode after the Coup de Grace.
Nakamura got the reaction of the night, with Balor close behind. The crowd serenaded Finn with “Thank you Finn” chants, and the crowd sang Nakamura’s theme song.
This was a good match and the crowd was into everything they did. After the match was over, Bayley came out and put over Balor, Jax, Rawley, and Carmella as this was their last night in NXT.
Balor then put over the locker room, which by this point had come out into the aisle way to honor the four who were being called up to the main roster. Balor also put over Matt Bloom, and closed the show shaking hands and taking pictures with ringside fans.
If NXT comes to your town, make sure you are able to go. You won’t regret it.
