Wrestling Observer Live Saturday with Jim Valley is back.

Janel Grant’s lawsuit has led people to look at other instances in the past of Vince McMahon and WWE. This week, the best of friend of Ashley Massaro talked publicly about Massaro being drugged and sexually assaulted by someone posing as a military doctor while on tour in Kuwait in 2006. WWE has denied it knew about the incident and said that if it did, it would have reported it to the base commander. There are people who corroborate Massaro’s affidavit and that she told people in WWE about the assault. This week, we talk about WWE’s sordid history of alleged cover-ups and assault.

Wrestling Observer Live: WWE WrestleMania main event, AEW doing ‘Big Business’

I am back with a Super Bowl Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, talking all the latest news from the past week in professional wrestling.

The big story of the week was WWE’s Thursday press conference in Las Vegas where the main event of WrestleMania was set with Cody Rhodes officially challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal title. This leads to a question of what The Rock does during the biggest wrestling weekend of the year and the possibility of a tag match happening on night one.

The other big story from the week was AEW announcing a Dynamite special for March 13th in “Bo$$ton” called Big Business — presumably the debut of Mercedes Mone. What are the expectations for her and for ticket sales at the TD Garden?

Plus, I review Saturday’s AEW Collision, Friday’s WWE SmackDown, Will Ospreay’s last NJPW match, and more!

A warning: If you want to hear about pro wrestling storylines and the road to WrestleMania, this is not the show for you.

After being gone for two weeks, I finally give my opinion of the situation with Janel Grant, Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis and explain why certain arguments against Grant are ridiculous.

Then I discuss former Portland wrestling and WWE star Billy Jack Haynes and the tragic situation police are still investigating in Portland, Oregon.

I am back with a brand-new Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live after an extensive studio remodel.

I dive into the sexual assault and trafficking lawsuit that Janel Grant filed against Vince McMahon. I give my thoughts on the case and the potential fallout, including a federal investigation that could lead to even more claims and possible criminal charges.

Then, I talk about the return of The Rock on Friday’s SmackDown and the start of his program with Roman Reigns for WWE WrestleMania. I explain why WWE is doing this and what it means for Cody Rhodes’ plans. Plus, I go over IYO Sky and Bayley being set up for the biggest weekend of the year .
