WWE Raw returns to Netflix global top ten with strong showing

The Monday, February 2 edition of WWE Raw on Netflix not only returned to their global top ten, but made it to the middle of the pack among tough competition.

The streaming giant reported the news as part of their weekly Tudum report as Raw tied for sixth overall in the world with 3.1 million global views and 5.8 million total global hours viewed. The listed runtime was 1:48.

The show was the fallout edition from the Royal Rumble and featured men’s Rumble winner Roman Reigns confronting CM Punk, a Gunther appearance after retiring AJ Styles, and Stephanie Vaquer defending the WWE Women’s World title against Raquel Rodriguez in a street fight.

It’s Raw’s first time in the global top ten since January 19, just the third time this calendar year, and the fourth since December 8, 2025, largely due to the extended power of the final season of Stranger Things and previous seasons.

The numbers were a sizable uptick from their last top ten ranking which was on January 19 (2.5 million global views and 4.6 million global hours viewed). It’s also the third time in the last 10 times they have appeared on the top ten in which they have had over three million global views.

The episode finished in the top ten in 16 countries.

For the second straight week, the first four episodes in the fourth season of Bridgerton led the pack with 23.4 million global views and 102.6 million global hours viewed, followed by the debut of the second season of The Lincoln Lawyer (9 million global views and 75.9 million global hours viewed). The first season of Animal Kingdom was the baseline at number ten with 2.8 million global views.

WWE Raw misses weekly Netflix global top ten as new challenger emerges

WWE Raw’s attempt to return to the Netflix global top ten for the second straight week was upended by the return of 19th century high society Londoners.

Revealed during Tuesday’s weekly Tudum viewership report, the return of the popular Bridgerton series took not only the top spot in the global top ten but three of the top spots overall (season one and season three). The fourth season bowed with 39.7 million global views and over 174 million global hours viewed on just over four hours of screen time to lead the week.

Those other two Bridgerton seasons resided in the no. 10 spot with 2.7 million global views, meaning the Monday, January 26 episode — the Royal Rumble go-home edition — was less than that. That three-way tie also included the final season of Stranger Things.

Raw did appear in the U.S. top ten, ranking at number six. It also was in the top ten in seven other countries like Canada and Mexico, but no viewership data was provided. It was headlined by an impromptu WWE World Heavyweight title match between CM Punk and AJ Styles.

The January 19 episode returned to the top ten last week in what has been a tough fight for Raw since Stranger Things returned last fall. Since November 17, Raw has only appeared in the top ten three times and not on consecutive weeks.

WWE Raw returned to the Netflix global top ten for last week’s episode as the Vecna-like grip of Stranger Things begins its end.

Released via Netflix’s weekly Tudum report, the January 19 episode brought in 2.5 million global views worldwide with 4.6 million global hours viewed — good enough for the ninth spot on the list.

The show aired at 3 pm Eastern in the U.S. as it was held in Belfast, Ireland, headlined by CM Punk defending the WWE World Heavyweight title against Finn Balor.

The first three seasons of Stranger Things dropped off the list with the fourth season likely to disappear next week after 29 weeks in the top ten. The limited series His & Hers remained in the top spot with 17.2 million views and 75 million hours viewed.

Of note, the second season of WWE: Unreal did not make the global or U.S. top ten.

It’s the first Raw episode to appear in the global top ten since the January 5 show and just the third overall since November 17. With global views, the January 19 episode was down 700,000 from January 5 and was identical to the December 8, 2025, episode. The global hours viewed were also down from January 5, but up from December 8.

The episode was in the top ten in six countries and had a listed runtime of 1:46.

After returning to the global top ten last week for the first time since early-December, the Monday, January 12 episode of WWE Raw on Netflix didn’t make the list according to Tudum.

The tenth-ranked show (Marcello Hernandez: American Boy) finished with 2.5 million global views, setting the benchmark. Stranger Things’ five seasons continued to take up half of the list while the new thriller limited series His & Hers debuted with 29.5 million global views to take the top spot.

Of note, the show aired at 2 pm Eastern in the U.S. as WWE continued their overseas tour and featured a first time ever match between Gunther and AJ Styles.

Since November 17, 2025, Raw has made the global top ten just twice: December 8 and January 5.

On Tuesday, Netflix released their quarterly earnings and stated they had more than 325 million subscribers to close 2025 with $45 billion in sales for the year. That is 25 million more subscribers than they ended 2024 with.

They revealed they will spend $20 billion on programming in 2026 which is a 10% jump from 2025 even as they are attempting to close the much-discussed deal to buy Warner Bros. that will also add costs to their bottom line.

Shares dipped by 2% in after-hours trading to $85.

Earlier on Tuesday, WBD announces that Netflix will be amending their offer to purchase the WB studios, DC, HBO and HBO Max, and other assets to be all cash in a further effort to fend off Paramount Skydance’s efforts to buy the entirety of the company which includes the cable networks.
