Joe Hendry called up to WWE Raw, holding concert as part of next week’s lineup

Joe Hendry is officially part of the WWE Raw roster and will celebrate with a live concert in a week.

Michael Cole revealed the news during Monday’s Raw after WrestleMania when doing a quick rundown of next week’s Raw, saying that Hendry was part of the Raw roster now to which Corey Graves feigned disgust.

Hendry had been rumored to be officially called up in January as SmackDown expanded to three hours but that wasn’t to be. Instead, he remained in WWE NXT and won the NXT title, holding it for 60 days before losing it to Tony D’Angelo in a four-way at April’s Stand & Deliver.

He did compete in last Friday’s Andre the Giant memorial battle royal on SmackDown, won by Royce Keys.

Next week’s Raw will also feature the return of new Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch after she defeated AJ Lee to regain the title at this past weekend’s WrestleMania 42.

Updated lineup announced for WWE Raw

The stars will be out for this Monday’s WWE Raw from San Jose, California — the second-ever episode on Netflix.

Raw general manager Adam Pearce took to social media Saturday to both give his well wishes to anyone dealing with the Southern California wildfires and to announce some new additions to the show:

  • CM Punk: Punk is coming off a massive win over rival Seth Rollins that main evented last Monday’s Netflix debut show.
  • Rhea Ripley: Ripley once again is WWE Women’s World Champion after defeating rival Liv Morgan last Monday and giving Dominik Mysterio a parting low blow for good measure.
  • Gunther: The reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion was seen last Monday, but only in video form.

The new additions join a lineup that already featured the finals of the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental title tournament, a street fight between Damian Priest and Finn Balor, the expected debut of Penta El Zero Miedo, and more.

Here’s the updated lineup:

  • Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor in a street fight
  • Chad Gable vs. TBA (believed to be the debuting Penta)
  • Women’s Intercontinental title tournament finals: Lyra Valkyria vs. Dakota Kai
  • Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser

  • Gunther appearance
