TKO extends partnership with Las Vegas arena for guaranteed WWE & UFC events

TKO Sports Group — the parent company of WWE & UFC — is extending its partnership with T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

It was announced today that TKO and T-Mobile Arena are extending their partnership through 2030, with the deal guaranteeing that the venue will host at least two WWE events and four UFC events every year. A press release touted that this extension reinforces T-Mobile Arena’s status as the “official home” of WWE & UFC in Vegas.

“T-Mobile Arena has become a classic Las Vegas arena known for showcasing some of the biggest sports and entertainment events. We’re proud that UFC and WWE will continue to be featured among T-Mobile Arena’s top events through the end of the decade,” said Peter Dropick, TKO’s EVP of Event Development and Operations.

T-Mobile Arena opened in 2016 and has hosted five of the UFC’s top 10 gates in company history.

Vegas has become an increasingly important city to WWE in the TKO era. WrestleMania 41 was held at Allegiant Stadium — and WWE’s signature event will be back in Vegas again next year with Allegiant Stadium hosting WrestleMania 42. SmackDown and Raw will take place at T-Mobile Arena surrounding WrestleMania.

WWE’s next trip to Vegas will be for its Worlds Collide show with Lucha Libre AAA on Friday, September 12. The event is being held at The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center.

WWE planning to have Las Vegas host WrestleMania ‘frequently’

In the new issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provides some details on WWE’s decision to move the location of WrestleMania 42.

It was confirmed this week that WrestleMania 42 will no longer be taking place in New Orleans. A new location has not been announced yet, but the expectation is that the show is being moved to Las Vegas, marking the second straight year that Allegiant Stadium has hosted WrestleMania.

Meltzer reports that TKO Sports Group now plans to run WrestleMania in Las Vegas on a regular basis. It won’t be every year, but the idea is that the show will be held in Vegas frequently.

“The decision was made partially because this year’s WrestleMania made so much money overall in Las Vegas from all sources that they could not make that level of money in New Orleans. The other is that the company loved having it in Las Vegas, because key TKO executives live there and are there and Nick Khan grew up there,” Meltzer wrote. “The plan is now to run WrestleMania on a regular basis in the city, not necessarily every year, but frequently. The idea is that the city wants to have a major destination sports event every year, and by definition they are looking at the Super Bowl, The Final Four, the College Football national championship final and WrestleMania so would be looking for Mania any year that they don’t have one of the other three events.”

Meltzer confirmed that WWE has reserved Allegiant Stadium for Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026. The show was originally going to be held one weekend before that — April 11 and April 12 — when it was set for New Orleans.

There are still a couple of issues that are being worked out regarding the Vegas move, Meltzer reports.

“There is a concert booked at the stadium that has not been announced that makes the moving in and setting up the stadium too tight,” he wrote. “Those in charge of the stadium have attempted to move the concert date but the promoters have said that they have a contract for that date and thus far have been unwilling to move.

“The other is that the Las Vegas Convention Center, which hosted fan gatherings, is open for that weekend but does not have the same amount of open space as it had for WWE last month. The other event that has part of the Convention Center booked is also unwilling to move. But they could use less space in the building or move to a different convention center, with the Mandalay Bay being the most likely.”

New Orleans will now host Money in the Bank in 2026 instead of WrestleMania, and the city is expected to receive a future WrestleMania as well.

WWE reveals location for post-WrestleMania NXT episode

WWE is sticking around Las Vegas for the post-WrestleMania 41 episode of NXT.

NXT will take place from the BleauLive Theater at the Fontainebleau hotel in Vegas on Tuesday, April 22. The show, which is the Stand & Deliver fallout edition of NXT, will air live on The CW Network with a start time of 8 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific.

WWE has partnered with Fontainebleau Las Vegas as the official hotel of WrestleMania 41. As a result of the partnership, the BleauLive Theater is set to host the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony (April 18), an UNDERTAKER 1 deadMAN SHOW (April 19), and this NXT episode.

The ticket on-sale date for the NXT episode and Undertaker one-man show is this Friday at 11 a.m. Eastern/8 a.m. Pacific. A pre-sale will begin this Wednesday.

Undertaker’s one-man show has a start time of 10 p.m. Pacific, starting after night one of WrestleMania 41 ends.

Stand & Deliver 2025 — NXT’s annual WrestleMania weekend event — is being held at T-Mobile Arena on the afternoon of April 19. The card for the PLE will take shape on NXT over the next few weeks.

WWE reveals location & time for 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony

With WrestleMania season ramping up, WWE has finally revealed the details for this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony.

The 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place at the BleauLive Theater at the Fontainebleau hotel in Las Vegas on Friday, April 18, It will stream live on Peacock in the United States and WWE’s social media channels starting at 1 a.m. Eastern/10 p.m. Pacific.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Michelle McCool, and Lex Luger are the first three inductees that have been confirmed with more legends set to be added to the class in the coming weeks.

Though it’s still happening on the Friday of WrestleMania week, this represents a change from how the Hall of Fame ceremony has been presented in recent years. It had taken place immediately after SmackDown — from the same venue as the episode — since 2022.

Tickets for the Hall of Fame ceremony are going on sale to the general public at 11 a.m. Eastern/8 a.m. Pacific this Friday (March 14). Leading into that, there will be a ticket pre-sale beginning this Wednesday (March 12).

WWE has partnered with Fontainebleau Las Vegas as the official hotel of WrestleMania 41, and it’s noted that additional WWE events taking place at the venue will be announced soon. The hotel, located on the Las Vegas Strip, opened in December 2023.

“As the official host hotel and the resort to be, Fontainebleau Las Vegas is offering WWE fans up to 30% off room rates for new and existing Fontainebleau Rewards Members, the best guaranteed rate at Fontainebleau Las Vegas during WrestleMania 41,” WWE wrote in a press release. “More details on WrestleMania 41 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas can be found online. Additional WWE events taking place at Fontainebleau Las Vegas will be announced in the coming weeks.”

WrestleMania 41 is being held at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20.

WWE WrestleMania 41 to be held in Las Vegas

WrestleMania is officially headed back to Las Vegas for the first time since 1993.

In recent weeks, Las Vegas had become the frontrunner to host WrestleMania 41. That was made official today with WWE announcing that WrestleMania 41 will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, 2025.

The announcement aired during NBC’s pre-race coverage of the Kentucky Derby.

This marks a bit of a schedule change for WrestleMania. Traditionally, the show has been held in early April. It’s now being pushed back a few weeks in 2025. WWE president Nick Khan said last month that WrestleMania would be moving away from taking place on the same weekend as the Final Four of NCAA March Madness.

Night two of WrestleMania 41 is the same day as Easter Sunday.

Allegiant Stadium is the home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders. SummerSlam 2021 was the first WWE event to be held at the stadium.

WrestleMania coming to Vegas is a collaboration between WWE and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. In the days surrounding WrestleMania, Las Vegas will also host Raw, SmackDown, the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, NXT Stand & Deliver, and the WWE World convention.

Ticket details will be announced in the coming months. WWE has started a mailing list for those interested in pre-sale information when it becomes available.

WrestleMania IX is the only other WrestleMania that’s been held in Las Vegas. Caesars Palace was the venue for that show.

Minneapolis was considered one of the contenders to host WrestleMania 41 before Vegas was chosen as the location.

Shotzi gets married in Las Vegas before WWE house show

Shotzi spontaneously got married in Las Vegas prior to WWE’s house show on Friday night.

With WWE’s Holiday Tour coming to the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Shotzi (real name Ashley Urbanski) and her significant other Jesus Alfaro decided to elope before the show. Shotzi then arrived at the WWE event while still wearing her wedding dress. She wrestled with the dress on, teaming with Bianca Belair in a victory over Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY & Bayley.

Shotzi wrote on Instagram:

JUST MARRIED! When I realized I would be performing in Vegas, we decided to elope before the show. It was very spontaneous and so perfectly us. I loved every second of it. I’ll post something a little mushier later but its now time for an action packed reception! @wwe @mgmgrand

Dave Bautista was among those who responded to Shotzi’s post: “F**k yes!! Live like there’s no tomorrow! Love it. Congrats!!”

Shotzi has long been feuding with Bayley and Damage CTRL. The December 22 episode of SmackDown featured an eight-woman Holiday Havoc tag match where Shotzi, Belair, Michin & Zelina Vega defeated Bayley, SKY, Kairi Sane & Asuka.
