UFC Fight Night 270 live results: Movsar Evloev vs. Lerone Murphy

The Octagon returns to England this weekend on Paramount+ with a big main event as UFC Fight Night 270 takes place at The O2 Arena in London.

The main event is a number one contender bout in the featherweight division between a pair of undefeated fighters as Movsar Evloev takes on Lerone Murphy. Evloev comes in with 19 wins in 19 fights, but fights for the first time since a December 2024 win over Aljamain Sterling. Murphy is on an 18-fight unbeaten streak and is coming off a massive knockout win over Aaron Pico in August.

The co-main event is a featherweight bout pitting two rising prospects against each other as Luke Riley battles Michael Aswell. Also on the main card is British star Michael Page battling Sam Patterson in welterweight action; a middleweight bout between ranked contender Roman Dolidze and streaking Christian Leroy Duncan; and a featherweight bout between debuting Kurtis Campbell and Danny Silva.

They clinch up and battle for position against the fence. They trade knees. Dyer controlling more and lands some knees. Dyer lands a right hand on the break. Dyer with a body kick. They trade inside the pocket and Rock lands a head kick. Al-Selwady lands a right hand and Rock briefly goes down but gets right up. Al-Selwady lands a front kick right to the face of Rock. Al-Selwady rushes in with a flurry. Al-Selwady mixing punches and kicks and Rock lands a left hand. Al-Selwady lands a stiff calf kick. Al-Selwady lands and grabs the back, dragging it down, but Rock is able to reverse to the top. He picks Al-Selwady up and slams him down. Sutherland lands a right hand. Sutherland gets a takedown but they get right back up. Pericic breaks apart. Pericic with a body kick and a knee. Pericic lands a series of knees and some right hands. Sutherland goes for a takedown but Pericic is landing lots of punches. They roll and Pericic lands big right hands some more and it is all over! Pericic picks up the big win.

Trocoli lands a leg kick and Kondratavicius connects with some punches. They clinch up as Trocoli pushes it to the fence. Trocoli lands a knee. He lands another. Kondratavicius reverses position and lands a knee and an elbow. They separate and Kondratavicius connects with a right hand and an uppercut. They both connect as Trocoli lands a right hand and Kondratavicius lands a knee as they clinch. Kondratavicius lands an elbow. They break apart and Kondratavicius lands a combo and Trocoli lands a right hand. 10-9 Kondratavicius.

They clinch against the fence with both landing short shots and Pinto having the advantage. Pinto lands an elbow. 10-9 Pinto.

They each land the jab. Franco with a short combo. Pinto looks for a takedown as he pushes it against the fence. Pinto lands to the body. Timeout is called due to a groin strike by Franco. Campbell is adjusting as he has the back of Silva. Silva is able to scramble out and he gets the back of Campbell as they stand. Silva gets Campbell down but they stand and Campbell lands as they separate. Campbell pressures against the fence and is attacking the leg as they’re on the mat. Silva defends and lands an elbow and they stand. Silva lands a right hook. 10-9 Campbell.

Silva lands a right hand that drops Campbell and has Campbell hurt. Silva is landing against the fence as Campbell is having trouble standing and Silva drops Campbell again and continues to land and it is stopped! What a finish from Silva!

Duncan lands some leg kicks early. Dolidze is able to grab the leg and scores a takedown. Dolidze is controlling and has the back of Duncan but is doing absolutely nothing as he hasn’t even thrown a strike while controlling. They stand and Dolidze is going after the single leg and gets Duncan back down and has the back. They work to their feet. Duncan escapes and clips Dolidze with a spinning back fist. Duncan lands a body kick. Duncan lands a spinning elbow and Dolidze slips to the mat. Duncan lands some leg kicks as Dolidze is on his back. Dolidze is ordered up. Duncan with a wheel kick. UFC on ESPN+ 113 live results: Leon Edwards vs. Sean Brady

The Octagon travels across the pond Saturday as London, England’s O2 Arena hosts UFC action for the first time since July 2023 with UFC on ESPN+ 113.

Former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards returns for the first time since losing the title to Belal Muhammad in July as he takes on Sean Brady in the five-round main event. Edwards’ title loss ended a 13-fight unbeaten streak. Brady, on a three-fight win streak, steps in on short notice to replace Jack Della Maddalena, who was pulled for a title shot.

The co-main event marks the return to action for former UFC light heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz, out since July 2023, as he takes on rising contender Carlos Ulberg. Also on the main card is the returning Gunnar Nelson, who fights for the first time in two years, against Kevin Holland in welterweight action; a lightweight bout pitting Jordan Vucenic against Chris Duncan; with featherweights Nathaniel Wood and Morgan Charriere opening the main card.

The Octagon is back in London for the second time this year with UFC on ESPN 82: Aspinall vs. Tybura in front of a sold-out crowd at the O2 Arena.

Rising heavyweight contender Tom Aspinall makes his return after a year out of action as he battles Marcin Tybura in the five-round main event. Aspinall tore his ACL in his last fight, a loss to Curtis Blaydes exactly one year ago, and looks to get back into the title picture. Tybura is on a stretch of winning seven of his last eight fights.

Also on the main card is a women’s flyweight bout between Molly McCann and Julija Stoliarenko, a featherweight bout pitting Nathaniel Wood against Andre Fili, Paul Craig dropping down to middleweight to fight Andre Muniz, and a featherweight fight between the undefeated Lerone Murphy and Josh Culibao.

Aspinall lands a body kick and was rushing in to land but Tybura landed a right hand to stop him in his tracks. Aspinall lands a combo but Tybura did land a right hand again. Aspinall lands an elbow then drops Tybura with a right hand and finishes it off quickly with more punches from the top. Big win for Aspinall in his return fight and he made it look easy.

The Octagon is back in London for the second time in a span of four months with another heavyweight main event and a stacked card overall with a bunch of English fighters looking to score big wins in front of a raucous crowd.

In the main event, it is a battle of heavyweight contenders looking to get a title shot as Curtis Blaydes takes on Tom Aspinall. Blaydes is coming in having won his last two fights, including a second-round knockout of Chris Daukaus in his last fight in March. Aspinall is headlining his second straight London show as he’s looking to extend an eight-fight win streak. He scored a first-round submission of Alexander Volkov in the headliner of the last London card in March.

In the co-main event, it is a middleweight battle as Jack Hermansson looks to get back into the win column against late replacement Chris Curtis, who has emerged as one of the best stories on the UFC roster over the last year. Curtis replaced Darren Till in this fight, taking it on about three weeks’ notice, and is looking to improve to 4-0 inside the Octagon.

Also on the main card is a lightweight battle between rising British superstar Paddy Pimblett and Jordan Leavitt, as well as a pair of light heavyweight fights as Nikita Krylov welcomes former title challenger Alexander Gustafsson back to the division, and Paul Craig takes on Volkan Oezdemir.

Amirkhani gets the takedown. They get up and Amirkhani drags it back down. They get up and again Amirkhani drags it back down as he has the back. Pearce with some back elbows. Pearce is now on top but Amirkhani has the neck. They get up and trade punches. Amirkhani gets a takedown but Pearce has the arm and they scramble up. Pearce lands some more elbows. They’re in a funky position and Pimblett almost had a reverse triangle in and lands some elbows as they get to their feet. After three years, the Octagon makes a long-awaited return to England with a loaded card including a heavyweight main event featuring a veteran looking to get back into the title picture battling a young prospect looking to break into the title picture, and a deep card overall.

Alexander Volkov will be going for his second straight win as he takes on Tom Aspinall, winner of seven straight, in the five-round headline bout. Volkov is no stranger to headlining UFC events and comes into this fight off a decision win over Marcin Tybura in October. Aspinall is in his first main event slot in his fifth UFC appearance as he looks to improve to 5-0 inside the Octagon and possibly move into the top five at heavyweight.

In the co-main event, Arnold Allen puts his ten-fight win streak on the line as he welcomes Dan Hooker back to the featherweight division. Also on the main card is Paddy Pimblett’s first UFC bout in his home country as he takes on Kazula Vargas, Gunnar Nelson returns for the first time since 2019 against Takashi Sato, and lightweights Jai Herbert and Ilia Topuria battle in the main card opener.

Craig tried to find a triangle or armbar but Krylov got to side control for a moment. Krylov stands and lands some more right hands before getting back into Craig’s guard. Craig gets the triangle choke locked in and Krylov taps! Wow, what a comeback!

It starts off slow in the first minute as Abdurakhimov lands a leg kick. They trade close punches and Abdurakhimov with a leg kick. Pavlovich with some punches inside the pocket and Abdurakhimov retreats a little. They’re still feeling each other out and Pavlovich drops Abdurakhimov with a right hand and starts to pound away on the mat and it is stopped. What a finish by Pavlovich.

Topuria with pressure against the fence as he looks to get it down. Topuria trying for the takedown but Herbert is grabbing the fence in plain sight, but Topuria is able to complete the takedown. Topuria is in side control but Herbert gets him inside the guard. Topuria working from the top and they stand and break. Topuria lands a combo. Herbert lands a shot that knocks Topuria’s mouth piece out. Herbert with a big right hand. 10-9 Herbert.

Herbert with a body kick but Topuria lands an overhand right. They start to trade in close range and Topuria lands a left to the body and then a right hand to the chin that knocks Herbert out cold. That was a brutal knockout from Topuria.

They clinch right away but not much happens before they break. Sato with a left hand. Nelson gets a takedown and has the back with the hooks in. Nelson with some punches from the back. Nelson with shots to the head and body from the back. Nelson looking for a choke but has a neck crank in. Nelson continuing to land punches. Nelson still looking for the choke as he lands punches and it looks like Sato is going to survive until the end. 10-9 Nelson, 30-27.

Vargas lands some punches early and they go to the mat with Vargas on top. Vargas landing from the top. They get to their feet but are clinched against the fence. Pimblett gets a takedown. He gets the back and is looking for a choke while landing some punches. He’s got a rear-naked choke almost locked in. He’s squeezing and Vargas taps! What a win for Pimblett in his home country.

> Featherweights- #7 Arnold Allen (17-1, 8-0 UFC) vs. #8 (LW) Dan Hooker (21-11, 11-7 UFC)

Hooker pressing forward and lands some punches early. Allen with some leg kicks. Allen lands some big punches that crack Hooker. Hooker now landing punches that hurt Allen. They are now throwing back-and-forth and both landing and hurting each other. Allen with a combo. Hooker coming forward and throwing the jab. Allen with a left hand that hurts Hooker and he’s swarming on him and landing against the fence and it is stopped. What a finish by Allen.

> Heavyweights- #6 Alexander Volkov (34-9, 8-3 UFC) vs. #11 Tom Aspinall (11-2, 4-0 UFC)

Aspinall lands some leg kicks early and they trade punches. Aspinall gets a takedown and is in the half-guard. Aspinall landing from the top. They get to their feet and Aspinall with some knees to the body before they break. Volkov lands a right hand. Aspinall with a leg kick and a right hand. Aspinall ducks under a right hand and scores a takedown. He’s looking for an arm and gets a kimura locked in and Volkov taps as his elbow pops. What a performance from Aspinall to get the win.

Fabricio Werdum vs. Alexander Volkov to headline UFC London

The UFC announced today that Fabricio Werdum will face Alexander Volkov in the main event of the March 17th Fight Night show in London at the O2 Arena.

The match was put together after Michael Bisping officially said, on the advice of family and friends, that he won’t be doing a retirement fight on the show. UFC was attempting to put together Bisping vs. Rashad Evans as the main event, and when that fell through, completely switched gears.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the public tomorrow.

The winner of the fight would be in line for an eventual heavyweight title match. Volkov (29-6) is coming off a knockout win over Stefan Struve, and was heavyweight champion in the past in both M-1 Global and Bellator.

Werdum (23-7-1) defeated Cain Velasquez in Mexico City to win the UFC title, but lost it to current champion Stipe Miocic. Since the title loss, he has wins over Walt Harris and Marcin Tybura.

The UFC has been selling out its shows in London in rapid order.

UFC Fight Night 107 live results: Jimi Manuwa vs. Corey Anderson

Welcome to F4WOnline.com’s live coverage of UFC Fight Night 107: Manuwa vs. Anderson, emanating from The O2 Arena in London, England.

The event is headlined by a five-round bout in the light heavyweight division pitting top-ten ranked fighters against each other as fourth-ranked Jimi Manuwa takes on sixth-ranked Corey Anderson. Both men are looking to score their second straight win and get themselves in the talk for a future title shot in a division that is desperate for fresh title challengers.

In the co-main event, Gunnar Nelson returns to action for the first time in ten months as he looks to put an end to the three-fight win streak of his opponent, Alan Jouban. Also on the main card is the final fight in the career of Brad Pickett as he takes on late replacement Marlon Vera, and featherweight prospects Arnold Allen and Makwan Amirkhani each put their four-fight win streak on the line in the main card opener.

It was announced before the card started that Ian Entwistle is off the card due to a medical issue so the scheduled fight between he and Brett Johns has been cancelled. 

They also announced that the Tom Breese/Oluwale Bamgbose fight is also off due to Breese being “unfit to fight”. 

UFC FIGHT PASS PRELIMS | 1:30 PM ET/10:30 AM PT

> Lina Lansberg (6-2, 0-1 UFC) vs. Lucie Pudilova (6-1, 0-0 UFC)
Women’s Bantamweights

This is a rematch of a 2011 bout that Lansberg won via 3 round decision. Lansberg is coming off a loss to Cris Cyborg in her UFC debut while Pudilova fights in UFC for the first time.

First two rounds were very close with a lot of clinch work. Lansberg got a takedown halfway through the second and held Pudilova down for the rest of the round. I had Lansberg up 20-18 but either lady could’ve won either round.

Pudilova did a lot of damage in the third while defending a takedown attempt from Lansberg. She landed a ton more punches and I had her winning the round 10-8 and a 28-28 draw but the judges only gave a 10-9 third for Pudilova. Crowd booed the decision pretty heavily. Lansberg’s face was a bloody mess at the end.

WINNER – LINA LANSBERG (7-2) by unanimous decision (scores 29-28 x 3)

After the fight, Lansberg said “Lucie, you are the winner” and raised her hand. Dan Hardy asked her if they could have a third match and Lansberg said absolutely. 

> Brad Scott (10-4, 2-3 UFC) vs. Scott Askham (14-3, 2-3 UFC)
Middleweights

Scott and Askham are both English fighters who come in having lost 2 of their last 3 fights each. They could be fighting for a job.

Another really good and close fight here. Fight was almost exclusively standup aside from a takedown by Askham in the 2nd but Brad Scott was up within 15 seconds.

I had it 29-28 Askham but all three rounds were close and could’ve gone either way. Scott had Askham in trouble in the second after doing damage with leg kicks but he let up and more or less stopped with the leg kick attacks in the third. 

WINNER – BRAD SCOTT (11-4) by split decision (29-28 x2; 28-29)

> Marc Diakiese (11-0, 2-0 UFC) vs. Teemu Packalen (8-1, 1-1 UFC)
Lightweights

Diakiese is just 24 and while born in Congo, he now fights out of England. He’s looking for his 3rd straight UFC win. Packalen fights for the first time in almost a year. 

One of the best KO’s you’ll ever see. After a kick flurry to start, Diakiese nailed him with a punch to the head and he did a delayed flat black bump and his head bounced off the canvas. 

WINNER – MARC DIAKIESE (12-0) by KO in 30 seconds

After the fight, Diakiese said he should be in charge of England. He said he’s going all the way to the top. Crowd loved every second of this. 

> Leon Edwards (12-3, 4-2 UFC) vs. Vicente Luque (11-5-1, 4-1 UFC)
Welterweights

Edwards is the local here and he’s won 4 of his last 5, most recently over highly touted Albert Tumenov. Luque is a TUF 21 alumni who has won 4 straight.

Luque dominated the first round on the ground. Edwards got some good cornering advice from that point on though as he dominated the rest of the way. Third round was interesting as Edwards was in control through 4 minutes before Luque finally woke up and fought back in the last minute. Not enough to get the decision though. I had the same score as all three judges.

WINNER – LEON EDWARDS (13-3) by unanimous decision (scores 29-28 x 3)

Not much to the post-fight interview. Edwards was out of breath and hard to understand. Most interesting thing in this fight was the reffing. Grant Waterman would warn them to advance or progress within seconds of going to the ground or a clinch to an almost comical degree. 

> Daniel Omielanczuk (#15, 19-6-1 1 NC, 4-3 UFC) vs. Tim Johnson (#12, 10-3, 2-2 UFC)
Heavyweights

Both of these heavyweights are prone to going the distance. Omielanczuk lost to Stefan Struve last time out, which snapped a 3 fight win streak. Johnson has lost 2 of his last 3. 

Most of this fight was in the clinch and, as expected, it went the distance. Rounds 1 and 3 were close. 2 was definitively for Johnson. I had Johnson winning 29-28 but either guy could’ve won.

Johnson was pretty dominant in the clinch and when they were striking on the feet, Omielanczuk had a slight advantage. 

WINNER – TIM JOHNSON (11-3) by split decision (scores 28-29, 30-27 and 29-28)

Post-fight was hilarious. They were having audio difficulties and were going to scrap the interview but Johnson said “I don’t get to talk? I’ve been waiting forever.” He didn’t really have much to say, though. His moustache was great. 

> Darren Stewart (7-0 1 NC, 0-0 1 NC UFC) vs. Francimar Barroso (18-5 1 NC, 3-2 1 NC UFC)
Light Heavyweights

This is a rematch of a fight last November in Brazil that ended in a no contest due to an illegal blow. Barroso has won 2 of his last 3 while Stewart was making his UFC debut in that November fight.

Another close fight. Stewart took the first round on my card with Barroso getting the last two. Most of the fight was clinches on the cage and Barroso used his size advantage to dominate the smaller Stewart who has talked about moving to middleweight.

WINNER – FRANCIMAR BARROSO (19-5) by unanimous decision (29-28 x 3)

> Joseph Duffy (15-2, 3-1 UFC) vs. Reza Madadi (14-4, 3-2 UFC)
Lightweights

Duffy has won 5 of his last 6 with the only loss coming to Dustin Poirier. Madadi is 1-1 since coming back from a 2 year plus layoff in 2015. 

Duffy looked great here. First round was fairly close until Duffy reversed a takedown and ended up in top position. He controlled Madadi the ref of the round and landed some vicious elbows right before the end that cut him open on the forehead. 

The cut bothered Madadi the rest of the way and he seemed afraid to go to the ground and Duffy just picked him apart with strikes. Mostly punches to the head but also mixed in body punches and head kicks. Dan Hardy was talking about a rematch with Conor McGregor but that seems an awfully long way away. 

None of the rounds seemed like 10-8’s so the only score here was 30-27, which all the judges agreed with.

WINNER – JOE DUFFY (16-2) by unanimous decision (scores 30-27 x 3). 

UFC FIGHT PASS MAIN CARD | 5 PM ET/2 PM PT

> Arnold Allen (11-1, 2-0 UFC) vs. Makwan Amirkhani (13-2, 3-0 UFC)
Featherweights

An excellent, and extremely close, fight. All three rounds could’ve gone either way but I gave them all to Allen to give the fight to him 30-27.

Tons of reversals on the ground in all three rounds. Neither guy could maintain a dominant position for any length of time and the standup was basically even. Allen did seem fresher in the third. 

WINNER – ARNOLD ALLEN (12-1) by split decision (30-27 x 2; 28-29)

Officiating was an issue again here as Neil Hall was quick to warn both guys and stand them up from the ground or separate them from the clinch. Basically they had no time to work and it really hurt the flow of the fight. 

Allen, in his post-fight interview, complained that he can’t get the fans to love him (like they love you, referring to Dan Hardy). It came off kind of embarassing. 

> Brad Pickett (25-13, 5-8 UFC) vs. Marlon Vera (8-3-1, 2-2 UFC)
140-pound Catchweight (*Both men agreed to catchweight bout as Vera took the fight less than a week ago)

Sudden finish to this fight as Pickett was seemingly up 20-18 in a close fight when Vera landed a head kick that knocked out Pickett briefly and the ref stepped in after he landed a few more shots on the ground. Pickett was up quickly and protesting but it looked like a good stoppage.

Pickett was the more busy fighter, landing mostly punches to the head while Vera was scoring with body kicks and leg kicks. Pickett did just enough to edge out each of the first two rounds on my scorecards.

WINNER – MARLON VERA (9-3-1) by KO

Vera gave a very emotional post-fight speech where he put over Pickett as a legend and said that he did this for his family and was so thankful to get a big fight. He urged the fans to give it up for Pickett. 

Dan Hardy was great in interviewing Pickett. He said it was a sold-out arena and they were all there to see him and it didn’t matter whether he won or lost. Pickett said he loved the fans and he thinks this fight summed up his whole career. He was winning the whole way and then lost. He would rather go out this way. Win, lose or draw he thinks he’s blessed and it’s time to spend time with his family. 

> Gunnar Nelson (#9, 15-2-1, 6-2 UFC) vs. Alan Jouban (15-4, 6-2 UFC)
Welterweights

Great performance from Nelson here. He dominated the first round both on the feet and on the ground. He was clinical on the ground, easily moving into mount with about 2:00 left and keeping it for the remainder of the round. 

In the second he rocked Jouban with a punch and Jouban looked out of it before falling to the canvas. Nelson swooped in and slapped on a guillotine, getting the quick tap. It easily could’ve been stopped after the punch but it wasn’t like a late stoppage or anything.

WINNER – GUNNAR NELSON (16-2-1) by submission at 46 seconds of round 2. 

Nelson now has 5 submission, tied for 2nd in UFC welterweight history. Not much to his post-fight promo. No call-out as he said he concerntrates on his own game. 

> Jimi Manuwa (#4, 16-2, 5-2 UFC) vs. Corey Anderson (#6, 9-2, 6-2 UFC)
Light Heavyweights

Slow start as they walked around the cage with Anderson getting stuffed on a couple of takedown attempts and then out of nowhere, Manuwa connected with a punch that KO’d Anderson instantly.

WINNER – JIMI MANUWA (17-2) by KO at 3:05

Manuwa asked for the winner of Cormier and Rumble Johnson. That’s not gonna happen. He also said something about a fight against a boxer. 

Good show overall despite a couple of slow fights. The main event and the Diakiese KO are worth going out of your way to see. If you want my play by play coverage, you can get it here.
