Hangman Page to face Jon Moxley in AEW Dynamite trios match

Four days after headlining All In, Hangman Page and Jon Moxley will meet in the ring again.

A trios match with Page, Powerhouse Hobbs & Mark Briscoe facing the Death Riders (Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) will take place this Wednesday on the All In fallout edition of AEW Dynamite. The match was announced by Tony Khan in a social media post this afternoon.

Page triumphed over Moxley in a Texas death match at All In, kicking off the second AEW World Championship reign of his career and freeing the title from the Death Riders. Moxley had kept the championship belt hidden away during his nine months as champion.

Following his title win, Page sent out a thank you to the AEW fans and indicated that he will speak on Dynamite this week.

“Thank you for everything,” Page wrote. “I dont have the words to do the feeling justice because i havent slept in four days but ill try to find them by wednesday.”

Wednesday’s Dynamite is being held at Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago and marks the beginning of a six-show AEW residency at the venue. This is the first match announced for the episode.
