Stardom announces card for United States return

Stardom has revealed the match lineup for its return to the United States.

Next Thursday (April 4), Stardom will hold American Dream 2024 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. It’s part of WrestleCon’s events during WrestleMania week. The Stardom show will air live as a pay-per-view on TrillerTV.

The PPV has a 3 p.m. Eastern start time. It’s the first standalone Stardom event to be held in the U.S. since 2019.

In addition to Stardom’s talent, AEW wrestlers Mariah May and Willow Nightingale, TNA’s Xia Brookside, and former NXT wrestler Camron Branae (previously known as Amari Miller) are working American Dream 2024.

Here’s the card for the show:

  • World of Stardom Champion Maika defends against Megan Bayne
  • Mayu Iwatani, Tam Nakano & Momo Kohgo vs. Mina Shirakawa, Mariah May & Xia Brookside
  • Syuri & Konami vs. Willow Nightingale & SAKI
  • AZM, Saya Kamitani & Camron Branae vs. Stephanie Vaquer, Starlight Kid & Momo Watanabe
  • Three-way match: High Speed Champion Mei Seira vs. Ram Kaichow vs. Saki Kashima

Stardom talent will also be represented at ROH Supercard of Honor in Philadelphia on Friday, April 5. A trios match with Shirakawa, Maika & Seira facing Kamitani, Nakano & AZM has been announced for the pay-per-view.

Mariah May, Willow Nightingale announced for Stardom American Dream

Stardom has confirmed several names for its upcoming show in Philadelphia. 

American Dream 2024 is scheduled for the 2300 Arena on April 4 and will air as a pay-per-view on Triller TV. 

Stardom revealed Tuesday that Mariah May, Willow Nightingale, Stephanie Vaquer, and Xia Brookside will all participate in the show.

“Mariah May is back I love Stardom. Let’s meet again!”

May hasn’t performed for Stardom since September’s 5Star Grand Prix. 

Brookside, who is now in TNA, wrestled with Stardom from 2017 to 2019 and returned briefly in early 2023 as a member of Club Venus. 

Nightingale hasn’t wrestled under the Bushiroad banner since dropping the NJPW Strong title to Giulia last summer. 

Vaquer returned to Stardom earlier this month for the first time since 2018. She defeated Giulia for the NJPW Strong title on the March 10 show in Korakuen Hall. 

Saya Kamitani, Tam Nakano, Saki Kashima, Maika, Ram Kaicho, Saki, and Mei Seira were announced for the event as well on Tuesday. 

Previously confirmed wrestlers scheduled for Stardom American Dream 2024 include Mayu Iwatani, Momo Kohgo, AZM, Starlight Kid, Momo Watanabe, Syuri, and Mina Shirakawa. 

No matches have been announced thus far.

 

Stardom returning to United States for first time since 2019

Stardom’s return to the United States is just three months away.

At its January 4 event in Tokyo, Stardom announced that it will be holding a show in Philadelphia on Thursday, April 4. The show, which is part of WrestleCon, will take place at the 2300 Arena. It’s happening during WrestleMania week in Philly.

Stardom American Dream 2024 in The Keystone State is the name of the show. It will begin at 3 p.m. Eastern time on April 4.

The show will see “the best female wrestlers in the world compete and present the colorful and impactful action that only Stardom can.”

While Stardom wrestlers have been featured on NJPW shows in the United States, this will be the first full Stardom event to be held in the US since 2019. Stardom presented a show in New York City during WrestleMania week that year.
