NJPW Royal Quest to air live on Fite TV

Broadcast details for this month’s NJPW Royal Quest show have now been officially confirmed.

NJPW and Fite TV announced today that Royal Quest will air live on Fite as an iPPV. The show will later be made available on New Japan World.

The price for Royal Quest on Fite is listed as $24.99. The show is taking place at the Copper Box Arena in London, England on Saturday, August 31 and will begin at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time.

NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff and AEW All Out are both also taking place on August 31.

NJPW’s Southern Showdown event in Melbourne, Australia aired live via Fite this June, with Fite having a 72-hour window of exclusivity.

NJPW reveals full card for Royal Quest

A number of high profile title matches are now set for New Japan’s Royal Quest event at the end of this month.

Following the events of the G1 Climax finals, Minoru Suzuki will get the next shot at Kazuchika Okada’s IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Zack Sabre Jr. will put the Revolution Pro Wrestling British Heavyweight title on the line against Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Tomohiro Ishii will defend the NEVER Openweight title against the newest member of the Bullet Club, KENTA.

Guerrillas of Destiny will also be defending their IWGP Tag Team titles, but their challengers have yet to be determined. The winners of RevPro’s Royal Quest Tag Team tournament, which concludes on August 30, will determine GoD’s challengers.

Royal Quest takes place on August 31 at the Copper Box Arena in London, England. The show will be made available on New Japan World via VOD.

NJPW announces ticket information for Royal Quest

Tickets for this summer’s New Japan Pro Wrestling Royal Quest show in the United Kingdom will be going on sale next week.

NJPW has announced ticket information for the show, with tickets set to go on sale to the general public at 12 p.m. GMT on Thursday, March 14. NJPW is also doing a pre-sale for those who have signed up to a mailing list. Pre-sale tickets will be available to purchase on Tuesday, March 12 at 12 p.m. GMT.

Royal Quest is taking place at the Copper Box Arena in London, England on Saturday, August 31. The most expensive tickets are priced at £120, while the least expensive tickets will cost £30.

Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, and Tetsuya Naito are the first three wrestlers who have been announced for Royal Quest.

Royal Quest was first announced when NJPW revealed their upcoming big show schedule at Wrestle Kingdom 13 in January. NJPW held two Strong Style Evolved shows in the UK last summer and also has a partnership with Revolution Pro Wrestling in the UK.

Tanahashi, Okada & Naito confirmed for NJPW Royal Quest

Last week, New Japan Pro Wrestling hyped that they’d soon be announcing “three of [their] top Japanese wrestlers” for August’s Royal Quest show in London, England.

That was followed up on today, with NJPW confirming that Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, and Tetsuya Naito are all set for Royal Quest. The show is taking place at the Copper Box Arena in London on Saturday, August 31.

NJPW noted that ticket information for Royal Quest will be announced after they make a few final seating adjustments. NJPW has a mailing list for pre-sale details.

Royal Quest will take place after the conclusion of this year’s G1 Climax. The G1 will begin at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, July 6 and conclude with three straight nights at Budokan Hall in Tokyo from August 10-12.

NJPW held two Strong Style Evolved shows in the United Kingdom last summer, and they have a partnership with Revolution Pro Wrestling in the UK.

NJPW returning to UK for Royal Quest

New Japan Pro Wrestling has started to hype up their return to the United Kingdom this August.

When NJPW’s upcoming big show schedule was announced during Wrestle Kingdom 13, it was noted that there would be an event at the Copper Box Arena in London, England on Saturday, August 31. It’s now been announced that the show will be named “NJPW Royal Quest.”

Three top Japanese wrestlers will be announced for Royal Quest next week, along with ticket information. NJPW has a mailing list for pre-sale details.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said Kazuchika Okada will be one of the wrestlers on Royal Quest and it will be a “loaded show.”

NJPW stated that more wrestlers and meet and greet information will be revealed over the coming months.

Royal Quest is taking place after this year’s G1 Climax, which will begin at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, July 6 and conclude with three straight days at Budokan Hall in Tokyo from August 10-12.
