ROH TV results: Lethal & Gresham vs. Coast 2 Coast

ROH TV episode #391 —

Silas Young & The Briscoes defeated Shinobi Shadow Squad (Eli Isom, Ryan Nova & Cheeseburger)

Jay Briscoe and Isom started off. Isom used his quickness to evade Jay, but eventually Jay got the tag to his brother. Isom landed a nice arm drag and tagged in Nova, who worked the arm of Mark Briscoe until tagging in Cheeseburger.

After the break, the Briscoes had taken over on Cheeseburger. Cheeseburger finally tagged in Isom. Isom used a fireman’s carry driver on Jay and went for a pin but only got a two count. The edge for Isom didn’t last long. Jay used a Spicoli driver and Mark landed a Froggy Elbow off the top, but Isom kicked out at two.

It was all heart from Isom as he kept fighting back, and he actually used a brainbuster on Jay to get another two count. He went toe-to-toe with both Briscoes until Jay used a Jay Driller on him to get the win.

The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser & Brian Milonas) defeated Brian Johnson & Joe Keys

Keys started off by challenging Beer City Bruiser to a pose-off. Bruiser laughed at him and slapped him in the face. Bruiser then began chopping Keys in the corner. Keys tagged in Johnson, but Bruiser also cut him off. However, Keys distracted Bruiser, which allowed Johnson to catch Bruiser in the corner.

Keys was tagged back in, foolishly went for a body slam, and had no luck. He tagged Johnson in and the two of them were able to slam Bruiser.

Keys went for a big splash, but Bruiser moved and Keys nailed his head on the post. Bruiser tagged in Milonas, who went to work tossing around Johnson. They set Johnson up for the Last Call leg drop, which allowed Milonas to get the pin for his team.

Madison Rayne (w/ Sumie Sakai) defeated Thunder Rosa (w/ Holidead)

Rayne got the advantage early on Rosa, but Rayne got distracted by Holidead and went after her. That allowed Rosa to take control. Rosa used a slam and a running leg drop to attack Rayne.

After the commercial, Rosa used a running back elbow and a snapmare to get a two count. She stayed on Rayne with vicious chops, but Rayne was able to connect with a spear out of nowhere to buy her some time. Rayne picked up the pace and landed a crossbody off the second rope. She followed that up with an enzuigiri kick but only got a two count.

Rosa countered and used a spinning Gory Special slam but only got two. Rosa went crazy, which allowed Rayne to slide behind and connect with the Off with her Head reverse DDT to get the win.

Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Rocky Romero

Sabre took over early and attacked the wrist of Romero. Sabre used some sneaky submission attempts, but Romero survived. Sabre really stretched out the shoulders of Romero. Romero attempted to get the match moving quicker with some lucha moves. He used a standing dropkick to get Sabre to back off.

After the break, Sabre was back to work on the shoulders and arms of Romero. However, Romero countered the Japanese stranglehold and put Sabre in the move. Romero finally got some space and used a springboard tornado DDT. He followed that up with a hurricanrana.

Romero then taunted Sabre with some slaps to the head. He nailed the rewind kick and went for the Forever clotheslines, but Sabre caught Romero’s foot and used it to put him in the STF submission. Romero got to the ropes, forcing Sabre to break the hold.

Sabre then taunted Romero with some slaps, which fired up Romero. He was able to use a springboard dropkick to the prone Sabre. Romero landed Sliced Bread and nearly got a three count, but Sabre kicked out at two. Sabre was able to catch Romero in an abdominal stretch. He sat down on it and wrenched it in, and that forced Romero to tap out.

ROH TV episode #392 —

Lifeblood (Juice Robinson, Tracy Williams & Bandido) defeated Dalton Castle & The Boys

Castle and Robinson started it off. Each man faked a dive and strutted. Robinson tagged in Williams and Castle tagged in Boy 2. He quickly tagged in Boy 1, who quickly tagged Boy 2 back in. Williams had enough of that and chopped each Boy to the mat.

During the break, Bandido used some incredible athleticism on the Boys to get the advantage. However, Castle took the tag and pulled Bandido to the mat. The Boys tagged in and out quickly and went to work on Bandido’s shoulder. Castle launched each Boy in the air for an attack on Bandido. The Boys seemed to be in control until Bandido hit a tornado dive off the top rope and wiped out each Boy.

Bandido tagged in Robinson, with him squishing each Boy in the corner with running flip attacks. He followed that up with some stiff jabs to each Boy. He lifted Boy 1 onto his shoulders and spun him for a very long time until connecting with the Juice Box knees to the gut. Robinson then hit Pulp Friction on Boy 1, but Castle broke up the pin.

On the outside, Tenille Dashwood got in Castle’s face for breaking up the pin. As they were arguing, Bandido wiped out Castle with a dive.

Robinson then got back in the ring and Boy 2 cut him off, but he bounced off Robinson and Robinson tagged in Bandido. There was a miscue and Boy 2 accidentally took out Castle on the apron. Bandido landed a springboard moonsault on Boy 2, but Castle broke up the pin again. It didn’t matter though as Bandido was able to connect with his rebound German suplex on Boy 2 to pick up the victory for his team.

Jay Lethal talked about what it will mean to him to wrestle in Madison Square Garden and said that he is still the best wrestler in the world.

NWA National Champion Willie Mack defeated Rhett Titus to retain his title

Titus used some methodical chain wrestling to ground Mack. However, Mack used a nice running knee to plant Titus. Mack then began chopping the finely sculpted pectorals of Titus. Titus attempted to chop Mack back, but Mack didn’t react at all.

Mack used a running vertical suplex to stop Titus. He went for a fireman’s carry, but Titus held onto the ropes. Titus fought back with a running boot. Mack countered a clothesline into a backslide pin, but Titus kicked out at two. Mack used his power edge to knock down Titus with big elbows and slams. He followed that up with a mammoth cannonball drop onto Titus in the corner. Titus fell out to the floor.

Mack put his body on the line and connected with a flipping dive. He tossed Titus back in the ring and then went up top, but Titus intelligently rolled to the apron and managed to drop Mack’s neck across the top rope.

Mack recovered and came back with a kip up, a standing moonsault, and a stunner, followed by a frog splash off the top rope, and that was enough to earn him the win.

Bully Ray talked about the many times he’s wrestled at Madison Square Garden, and said he was going to steal the show. He made an open challenge for anyone to battle him at MSG in a New York City street fight.

ROH World Champion Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham defeated Coast 2 Coast (LSG & Shaheem Ali)

Ali and Lethal were the two wrestlers who started off the match. Lethal punished Ali with chops until LSG made a blind tag and landed a neckbreaker. Gresham made a tag and began putting the boots to LSG. However, LSG powered up and threw Gresham into the corner as he made the tag back in to Ali. A double-team kick put Gresham down.

Ali tried to shoot Gresham off the ropes, but he countered into a stunner and tagged in Lethal. A unique enzuigiri dragon screw leg whip combination gained Lethal the edge as he went to work on the knee of Ali. Gresham used his ground assault to further injure the leg of Ali

Eventually, LSG got the tag from Ali. Coast 2 Coast took over on Lethal, but he fought back valiantly and was able to get the tag to Gresham. Gresham hit a flying dropkick to the leg of Ali and they exchanged blows.

Lethal landed a powerbomb on Ali and Gresham applied the figure four. LSG broke up the submission, but Lethal and Gresham then used the Cornette cutter on Ali for the win.

ROH TV results: The Kingdom ambushes Jay Lethal

A recap of Jay Lethal destroying Matt Taven’s fake World title belt started off the episode.

Villain Enterprises (PCO & Marty Scurll) defeated The Kingdom (TK O’Ryan & Vinny Marseglia)

Marseglia and O’Ryan jumped their opponents at the bell, but PCO powered through them and Scurll used apron superkicks to get the early advantage.

Marseglia and O’Ryan then cut off Scurll and used a double flapjack to start their attack. Inevitably, Scurll got the tag to PCO — who got in and brushed off the attacks of The Kingdom. PCO used a pop-up powerbomb and a swing-out slam to nearly finish off Marseglia, but he only got a two count as O’Ryan broke up the pin.

Scurll sent both Kingdom members to the floor and then launched PCO onto them.

Scurll used a superplex and PCO came off the top with a frog splash, but Marseglia kicked out. Marseglia used a tilt-a-whirl side Russian leg sweep on Scurll but wasn’t able to secure the pin. The Kingdom took out PCO with a Marseglia dive and followed that up with a Red Rum senton on Scurll — but again Scurll kicked out.

After the break, The Kingdom were able to take out PCO as O’Ryan managed to hip toss him off the top turnbuckle onto a chair across the apron. PCO’s lower back snapped off the apron. This allowed O’Ryan to hit a moonsault on Scurll.

It looked like PCO was out, but he made it back to his feet and took out O’Ryan. This left Scurll alone with Marseglia — and he was able to latch on the chicken wing and Marseglia had to submit.

Mayu Iwatani defeated Holidead

Sumie Sakai was at ringside but didn’t get involved at all. An even exchange started off the match, but Holidead used a stunner and a leg drop on the apron to get the advantage. Iwatani used her quickness to evade and hit a single-leg dropkick. However, Holidead caught her and hit a big spinebuster to get a two count.

Iwatani used a crucifix bomb, but Holidead kicked out at two. She then turned Iwatani inside out with a big clothesline. Holidead looked to finish off Iwatani with a double underhook powerbomb, but Iwatani landed on her feet and nailed a superkick and a German suplex.

Iwatani went up top and hit a moonsault onto Holidead to get the win.

Kenny King defeated Dalton Castle

Castle ducked some early attacks by King. He frustrated King early and it looked like King was about to bail on the match. However, after the break, King was in the ring getting hit with a few amateur suplexes from Castle. Castle followed up with a bulldog, but King kicked out at two.

King rolled to the floor. It looked like Castle was about to fly, but King picked up one of the Boys and pressed him at Castle. He got in the ring and hit the Royal Flush on Castle for the win.

King then got on the mic and challenged Scurll to a match at ROH’s 17th Anniversary pay-per-view in Las Vegas this Friday.

Backstage, Taven was holding his broken title belt and proclaimed that he would show Jay Lethal why he was Matt Taven.

Taven then went to the ring and called out Lethal. Lethal came out, but he got jumped by The Kingdom. They tore Lethal’s clothes off and Taven chopped him until Lethal broke free and fought back.

But the numbers game got the best of Lethal. Marseglia and O’Ryan hit him with the House of 1,000 Horses and then got a table out from under the ring.

Before they could set the table up, Jonathan Gresham ran in and met the same fate as Lethal. They finally set up the table, then Taven hit a giant elbow off the top rope to put Lethal through it.

The Kingdom stood strong heading into Friday’s Anniversary PPV, where Lethal will defend his ROH World Championship against Taven.

ROH TV results: Matt Taven issues an open challenge

Jeff Cobb opened the show by telling Silas Young that he’s going to give him a first class Tour of the Islands in their Television Championship match tonight.

ROH Television Champion Jeff Cobb defeated Silas Young to retain his title

Young defeated Beer City Bruiser and Eli Isom in a mini-tournament to earn this title shot. Cobb took the early edge by using some amateur-style wrestling. Young scurried out of the ring to the floor.

After the break, Young asked for the Code of Honor and shook Cobb’s hand — but then used a throat thrust cheap shot. However, that only served to upset Cobb. A standing moonsault nearly led to an early Tour of the Islands, but Young held the ropes and bated Cobb to come to him. Young used a low kick and a stun gun across the ropes to gain control. Young hit strikes and chops to beat down Cobb.

After the second break, Young remained in control and used a rolling DVD and a double stomp but only got a two count. Cobb fought to his feet and used forearms to hurt Young. Cobb went for a suplex, but Young floated over and hit a backbreaker to injure Cobb’s ribs.

Young nailed the Anarchist suplex but only got two. Young taunted Cobb, which awoke the Hawaiian juggernaut and he nailed an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Cobb went for the Tour of the Islands again, but Young grabbed the ropes — so Cobb gave him four German suplexes and then finally hit the Tour of the Islands to retain.

Matt Taven issued an open challenge to anyone — except ROH World Champion Jay Lethal.

A recap aired of Mayu Iwatani defeating Kelly Klein to win the Women of Honor World Championship.

Rush defeated Vinny Marseglia

A brawl started it off. Marseglia got the upper hand with a tilt-a-whirl side Russian leg sweep. Rush bailed to the floor and Marseglia followed. Marseglia pulled up the black mats on the floor. He went for a suplex on the floor, but Rush countered it. Marseglia landed a big knee and tossed Rush back in the ring.

Rush finally battled back and tossed Marseglia to the floor, then beat him up on the outside. Rush threw him in, nailed a boot to the face, and did the Tranquilo pose. Marseglia fought out and used a nice backbreaker on Rush, but he ran into a big boot and a belly-to-belly suplex into the corner.

A huge running double stomp dropkick called La Lanza earned Rush the win.

Jonathan Gresham answered Matt Taven’s open challenge for Taven’s “real” ROH World Championship.

Jonathan Gresham defeated Matt Taven by DQ

Referee Todd Sinclair threw Marseglia and TK O’Ryan out and sent them to the back before the match began.

Taven blindsided Gresham to start the match and then rained down punches. Gresham finally countered into an octopus lock, but Marseglia and O’Ryan immediately came back out and jumped Gresham to cause the disqualification.

Lethal ran out to make the save but also got beat down. Taven put a table into the ring. They laid Lethal out and looked to hit him with the ax — but Lifeblood, led by Juice Robinson, made the save.

Taven and The Kingdom fled, but they accidentally left Taven’s fake belt at ringside. Mark Haskins got the belt and handed it to Lethal. Lifeblood and Lethal had the belt, the bat, and the ax in the ring.

Tenille Dashwood got the mic and said that the fake belt has been a symbol of dishonor since Taven began carrying it. She suggested Lethal destroy it. Lethal obliged, and he began violently bashing the belt with the baseball bat. That wasn’t good enough, so he grabbed the ax and chopped the belt.

The gold plating peeled off and Lethal ripped the belt apart to close the show.

ROH TV results: LifeBlood vs. Team Lethal

Back at Center Stage in Atlanta, Ian Riccaboni, Colt Cabana, and Caprice Coleman called the action.

Madison Rayne defeated Sumie Sakai and Jenny Rose in a triple threat match

Rayne got an early pin attempt on Sakai. Rose then put down Rayne and Sakai with a double clothesline. She used a fisherman’s suplex on Sakai, but Rayne broke it up. Rose hit a spinning sidewalk slam on Rayne and got a two count. Rayne fought back and landed a step-up enzuigiri.

Sakai inserted herself back into the match with a jumping kick. She then used a Boston crab on Rose, but that allowed Rayne to put a sleeper hold on Sakai until Sakai used a head-and-arm throw and then sunk in an armbar on Rayne. Rose broke up the submission and launched Sakai with a German suplex.

After the commercial, Sakai used a fisherman’s buster on Rose that earned a two count. Sakai went up top and missed with a moonsault. That allowed Rose to hit a codebreaker and spear on Sakai, but Rayne broke up the pin.

Rayne then used a Northern Lights bridging suplex and a ripcord cutter on Rose. She gave another cutter to Sakai and nearly won the match, but Sakai kicked out at two. Sakai caught Rayne with her TJ neckbreaker, but she couldn’t follow it up with a pin.

On the outside, Sakai hit a running dropkick onto both opponents from the apron to the floor. She tossed Rayne back in for a pin, but Rayne kicked out at two. Sakai went for her Smash Mouth finisher on Rayne, but Rayne escaped. Rayne caught Sakai and used an inverted DDT for the win.

LifeBlood (Juice Robinson, David Finlay, Tracy Williams, Mark Haskins & Bandido defeated Team Lethal (ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, Flip Gordon, Dalton Castle & ROH Television Champion Jeff Cobb)

LifeBlood’s Tenille Dashwood joined the commentary team.

The captains, Lethal and Robinson, started it off for their respective teams. Robinson scored first with a knockdown off a shoulder tackle. Castle demanded to be tagged in and Lethal obliged. Castle began jaw-jacking with Bandido, then Robinson tried to roll him up from behind.

There was a bizarre exchange where Robinson and Castle each swung and missed at each other over a dozen times. Finally, Robinson began connecting with jabs and Castle bailed to the floor. Castle tagged in Gresham and Robinson tagged in Williams. Some excellent technical wrestling exchanges ended with Gresham catching Williams in a headscissors, but Williams escaped and offered a hand to Gresham to pick him up off the mat.

After commercial, Lethal and Finlay were in the ring and Finlay landed a big dropkick that got Lethal’s attention. Finlay tagged in Haskins. Lethal tagged in Cobb. They locked up and Cobb shoved the smaller man down twice and knocked him down with a shoulder tackle.

Haskins finally got a few kicks to the chest and a slap to the face. Cobb caught Haskins and launched him with a German, but Haskins landed on his feet. Cobb then kipped up to his feet and the two stared each other down. Haskins tagged in Bandido and Cobb tagged in Gordon. The crowd was going wild.

Bandido and Gordon exchanged an incredible array of moves where each landed on their feet multiple times, then both missed a dropkick and kipped up to their feet. The crowd chanted “ROH” as the show went to commercial.

After the break, Lethal was in the ring with Bandido and tagged in Castle, who rolled Bandido around and powered him up for a slam. Castle landed a nice suplex and tagged Gordon back in. Bandido cut off Gordon with shoulders to the gut and a big kick. Bandido then tagged in Williams, who took over on Gordon with a couple of suplexes.

Williams tagged in Haskins, with Haskins attacking the arm of Gordon with a few submission holds until Gresham got in and broke it up. Haskins tagged in Robinson, who connected with a standing senton. Robinson tagged in Finlay, with him continuing the beating on Gordon.

Bandido then tagged in and landed a senton. He tagged Finlay back in, but Finlay was cut off by a springboard slingblade by Gordon. That allowed Gordon to tag in Lethal and Finlay to tag in Haskins. Lethal ran wild on Haskins, which led to the final commercial break.

After the break, Lethal was cut off by Robinson (who was not the legal man). Robinson used a running cannonball and a full nelson slam on Lethal. This led to a parade of moves and cut offs.

Robinson was cut off by Gordon with a springboard dropkick, Gordon was cut off by a spear from Finlay, Finlay was cut off by a bulldog from Castle, Castle was cut off by a Bandido Doctor Bomb, Bandido was cut off by an enzuigiri from Gresham, Gresham was cut off by a clothesline from Williams, Williams was cut off by a moonsault from Cobb, and Cobb was cut off by a Haskins boot and a running suicide dive to the floor onto everyone.

Gordon got back in and came off the top rope with a flip dive. That left Bandido alone to do a corkscrew flip dive to everyone off the top turnbuckle to the floor.

Haskins and Lethal were left in the ring. Gresham slid in — and Lethal launched him for a crazy rolling cutter on Haskins. Lethal went for the pin on Haskins, but everyone broke it up.

Castle then took the tag from Lethal — and Castle and Haskins went back and forth with forearms. Castle went for the Bang-A-Rang, but Haskins got out and put Castle in a sharpshooter submission hold and Castle was forced to tap out.

In a show of honor after the match, everyone except Castle stood across from each other and exchanged handshakes.

ROH TV results: Tag title match, six-man mayhem

Ian Riccaboni, Colt Cabana, and Caprice Coleman called the action from Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia.

Shane Taylor defeated Rhett Titus, Luchasaurus, Kenny King, Chris Sabin, and Flip Gordon in a six-man mayhem match

Starting off in the ring were Sabin and Luchasaurus. They battled briefly, and King and Titus were in next. King and Titus had an even exchange. For a moment, the two men then re-formed their tag team of the All Night Xpress to work together to take out Luchasaurus and Taylor.

That didn’t last long as King and Titus began verbally attacking each other, which allowed Gordon to take over. A melee ensued with each man connecting with a move. It ended with Gordon landing a Pele kick on King. All the competitors were down as the show went to break.

After the commercial, King had managed to get control until Luchasaurus kicked him off the apron. Taylor booted Luchasaurus. Taylor then hit a bowling ball flip dive off the apron to the floor on King and Titus. This allowed Luchasaurus time to regroup and hit a running springboard flip dive over the top rope to the floor.

Not to be outdone, Gordon then ascended a balcony near ringside and hit a flip dive onto all four men. He tossed Taylor in and hit a 450, but King pulled him off the cover. The referee decided that his actions were illegal — so he had King disqualified and sent to the back.

Inside, Titus managed to put down Luchasaurus and then powered up, hoisted Taylor up on his shoulders, and hit a Samoan drop. That only got a two count. Titus then did his best Lex Luger imitation, but Taylor blasted him with a knee and landed Greetings from the 216 on Titus for the win.

The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser & Brian Milonas) defeated Master & Machine (Marcus Kross & Griff Garrison)

Milonas launched both opponents, then put them both down with a double clothesline. He tagged in Bruiser — who missed a senton. A big elbow off the top barely phased the Bruiser. He caught Kross on his shoulders and planted the young man.

Kross used a double thrust palm strike to get some clearance and tag in Garrison. Garrison ran wild, but not for very long. He ran into a huge slam from Milonas, but Kross broke up the pin. Milonas put Kross up top and the Bouncers landed Closing Time on Garrison to get the win.

ROH Tag Team Champions The Briscoes defeated Chuckie T & Colt Cabana to retain their titles

Chuckie T came to the ring alone with a microphone. He announced that his best friend had a family emergency so his partner was…Colt Cabana. Cabana got undressed right at the announcers table. He joined Chuckie — and they attacked The Briscoes right away.

Chuckie and Cabana got the early edge, but The Briscoes quickly cut off the newly formed tag team. The Briscoes put a hurting on Chuckie early, but he used a dropkick out of the corner to get the tag to Cabana — who came in and landed a nice moonsault and a Flying Apple to each Briscoe.

Chuckie tagged himself back in and went to work on Jay Briscoe with Soul Food and a standing Sliced Bread. He stalked The Briscoes, but they fought back on the outside. Jay suplexed Chuckie on the floor. Both Briscoes set up Cabana in a chair and Mark Briscoe hit a running blockbuster off the apron to Cabana.

After the break, Jay was looking for the Jay Driller — but Chuckie evaded it. However, Chuckie ended up on Jay’s shoulders and nearly found himself on the wrong end of the Doomsday Device, but he scrambled out and got a roll-up for only a two count.

Chuckie then walked into a Jay Driller. That allowed Jay to get the pin as The Briscoes retained the ROH Tag Team titles.

The Briscoes weren’t finished and continued to beat up Chuckie. With Cabana dispatched of, they got a table out from under the ring and set it up on the outside. Mark nailed a Froggy Elbow onto Chuckie through the table.

– A recap of Bully Ray leading the charge to lay out The Elite and SoCal Uncensored aired. This was immediately followed by a recap of Juice Robinson’s formation of the LifeBlood faction.

– Riccaboni was in the ring and brought out Jay Lethal. Lethal said there was a lot of pressure on him besides just being the champion as he watched the company that he loved deteriorate.

Lethal mentioned Matt Taven walking around with a fake belt. Just then, he was interrupted by LifeBlood. Robinson came out with the other members in tow.

Lethal said that he assumed LifeBlood felt the same way, but he didn’t want to join a group like LifeBlood. Robinson said that with all due respect, there wasn’t an invitation for Lethal to join.

Lethal then addressed each member of LifeBlood individually and complimented them on their past performances. He called each of them one of the best wrestlers in the world. He said he believes they can get ROH back on track. Lethal went to leave — but Robinson stopped him.

Robinson said that they should stop talking about it, and be about it. Robinson told Lethal to get four other like-minded guys in the back to compete against his team of five. In order to restore honor to ROH, Lethal accepted the challenge, so next week it will be LifeBlood vs. Lethal’s team.

ROH TV results: Nick Aldis defends NWA title, LifeBlood forms

From Atlanta, Georgia, Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman, and Colt Cabana called the action this week.

John Skyler, Corey Hollis, and Josey Quinn were in the ring to start the show. Skyler said they’re the toughest three-man team in Ring of Honor, which brought out Villain Enterprises.

Marty Scurll took the microphone and told them that they were about to feel the wrath of Villain Enterprises.

Villain Enterprises (Marty Scurll, PCO & Brody King) defeated John Skyler, Corey Hollis & Josey Quinn

A brawl ensued before the match began. Villain Enterprises took control.

After the break, PCO went for a flip dive but ended up landing on the apron. He hit the apron, then the floor, and then popped right back up.

In the ring, Hollis took over on Scurll. They isolated Scurll and put a beating on him. Finally, Scurll fought out and landed a tornado DDT and made the tag to King. He tagged Scurll back in and the two used some tandem offense to put down Skyler.

Scurll and King were back in the ring and put the finishing touches on Hollis. King hit a gonzo bomb and Scurll locked in the chicken wing for the submission.

Just as the celebration began, red balloons appeared from beneath the ring. The Kingdom were on the stage, and they told Villain Enterprises that The Kingdom are the greatest three-man team — and if Villain Enterprises want a shot at the gold, they’ll have to wait.

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis (w/ Kamille) defeated PJ Black to retain his title

Some classic chain wrestling started this NWA title match off. Aldis took a break and laid across the ropes. Each man got the edge and the other called for a timeout. Black went for a handshake mid-match and declared there would be no more cheating, but his fingers were crossed behind his back. He used a leg sweep to knock down the champ.

Aldis found the advantage and whipped Black into the corner, but Black popped up and used a headscissors to send Aldis to the floor. Back in the ring, Black used a blatant eye poke, then went to the top rope. Kamille got in the way, so Black backed off.

After the commercial, Aldis turned Black inside out with a lariat. A big backdrop to Black led to just a two count for Aldis. Both exchanged chops. Black went up top and landed a single axe handle. He went back up again and landed a double stomp but only got a two count.

Black went up a third time, but Aldis got out of the way and managed to hook in a German suplex, and he followed that up with a powerbomb. He looked to put on the Texas Cloverleaf — but Black rolled through.

Black went up top again, but Aldis cut him off and launched Black with a German off the top rope. That still only earned him a two count. Aldis then went up top, but Black went up as well, snapped off a hurricanrana, and followed it up with a moonsault, but that wasn’t enough to keep the champ down.

Black hooked in a dragon sleeper, but Aldis used his strength to pick up Black and land a Tombstone piledriver. Aldis went up top and hit an elbow drop, but Black kicked out at two.

Kamille threw the NWA title belt into the ring and distracted the referee. Black got the belt, tossed it to Aldis, and faked like he got hit with the belt. The ref didn’t disqualify Aldis, but it allowed Black to try a roll-up for a two count. Aldis went outside and Black looked to hit a running kick through the ropes, but Aldis bailed and Black hit Kamille.

Finally, inside the ring, Aldis was able to lock in the Texas Cloverleaf and Black had no choice but to tap out.

Juice Robinson came to the ring and told the fans they would be seeing a lot more of him in an ROH ring in the future. He then declared that it was a new beginning for ROH.

The lights went out and Tracy Williams, Bandido, Tenille Dashwood, Mark Haskins, and David Finlay were in the ring with him. Robinson declared their group is known as LifeBlood.

ROH TV results: Bandido vs. Mark Haskins

David Finlay defeated Tracy Williams

Juice Robinson joined Ian Riccaboni and Colt Cabana at the announce table.

Williams was sporting a shoulder brace. The match had a fast-paced open, but Williams got the best of it and took over on Finlay. Ironically, he started working the shoulder of Finlay. Eventually, Finlay fired back and landed a leaping European uppercut out of the corner.

After the break, Williams landed a single-arm DDT from the top turnbuckle. He then connected with a lariat that turned Finlay inside out. Both made it to their feet and a stiff striking exchange occurred until Finlay landed a backbreaker.

It looked like it was all over for Williams, but he countered a suplex into an armlock. Williams then used a Death Valley Driver — but Finlay kicked out. Finally, he landed a piledriver on Finlay to get the pin.

Bandido defeated Mark Haskins

Bandido had a counter for everything Haskins threw at him early. At one point, Bandido ducked a kick and landed in a headstand. Bandido took a tumble to the outside, which allowed Haskins to connect with a dive.

After the break, Bandido took control by launching himself to the floor with a Fosbury flop. Bandido used a pop-up cutter on Haskins but only earned a two count.

Haskins used a rolling leg hook to pick up Bandido and hit a Falcon Arrow but also only got two. Both men made it to their feet, ran at each other, and each landed a running boot. A striking exchange ended with Haskins gaining the edge with strong forearms, but he ran into a huge knee from Bandido.

Haskins got out of the way of a moonsault and was able to roll through into a Sharpshooter attempt. He used a double stomp from the top and secured an armlock — but Bandido fought out.

Bandido then caught Haskins with an incredible running, flipping, German suplex that earned him the win.

Silas Young defeated Eli Isom to earn a TV title shot

Young was a step ahead of Isom early and often. He used his savvy veteran experience to keep the young man at bay with a facebuster suplex. Inevitably, Young’s arrogance got the better of him as Isom was able to launch the bigger man.

Young fought back and laid waste to Isom with a slap to the face. Isom fired up and landed an Emerald Fusion driver but was only able to keep Young down for two.

Young moved out of the way of an Isom dive and Isom splatted on the floor. Young connected with his version of the Arabian press moonsault. Young landed a superplex, but Isom kicked out at only one.

Isom screamed that he wanted more. He nearly had the match won with a backslide, but Young hit a knee and landed his Misery finisher for the three count. Young is now the number one contender to the ROH Television Championship.

After the match, Young got on the microphone and called out Jeff Cobb for never winning at the Olympics. He said Cobb was a disappointment. Cobb had heard enough and came out.

Cobb got in the face of Young. Shane Taylor came from behind to jump him. Cobb picked him up and looked for the Tour of the Islands, but Young hit Cobb with a low blow. That allowed Taylor to pick up Cobb and nail him with Greetings from the 216.

ROH TV results: Villain Enterprises in action

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis and Kamille joined Colt Cabana and Ian Riccaboni on commentary for the first match. Aldis was there to scout his upcoming opponent, PJ Black.

Juice Robinson defeated PJ Black by DQ

Black started off with a big chop to Robinson. After a striking exchange, Black bailed to the floor and Robinson followed with a slingshot crossbody.

Black took control back with a sweet double axe handle off the apron to the floor. He grabbed Robinson’s arm and worked a hold. Black kept the heat on with a nice elbow off the second rope to the forehead of Robinson. He went for another, but Robinson caught him and landed a belly-to-belly suplex. He hoisted up Black and landed a gutbuster.

Black fought back, landed a hurricanrana, and then followed up with a moonsault. Robinson fought back and landed the Left Hand of God strike, which allowed him to hit a running cannonball. Robinson went up top, but Black threw the referee into the ropes to knock Robinson off the top. The ref called for the disqualification and awarded Robinson the win.

After the match, Black punched out the referee. He then walked over to Aldis, but Kamille intimidated him and he left peacefully.

Back in the ring, Robinson cut a promo and said that there would be new life breathed into ROH in 2019.

The Kingdom discussed what they do to newcomers, referring to the new Villain Enterprises trio of Marty Scurll, PCO & Brody King.

Shane Taylor defeated Mike Law

Caprice Coleman was on commentary and touted the skill of Taylor.

Taylor spit in the hand of Law. He then blasted Law with a punch and landed the Greetings from the 216 for the win.

Taylor grabbed the microphone and speculated about who paid him to take out Christopher Daniels a few weeks ago. He then said that nobody paid him — he did it on his own.

Colt Cabana was in the ring and introduced Flip Gordon. He asked Gordon what his plans are for 2019. Gordon responded by saying that his next mission was to cash in his title opportunity for the ROH World Championship.

Kenny King interrupted and said that he can take his title shot and put it in the garbage. King said that he was the last man to pin Jay Lethal. King then showed footage of himself pinning Lethal at a close angle — as to not reveal that his feet were on the ropes. King proceeded to call Gordon a phony and say that Gordon was a weekend warrior who was only brave enough to join the reserves.

The next match was supposed to be Villain Enterprises (Marty Scurll, Brody King & PCO) challenging ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia & TK O’Ryan). However, Taven came out with a mic.

Taven asked why Villain Enterprises thought they deserved a shot at the Kingdom — because they didn’t earn it. This led to Taven bringing out a replacement team — the Shinobi Shadow Squad of Cheeseburger, Eli Isom & Ryan Nova.

Villain Enterprises (Marty Scurll, Brody King & PCO) defeated Shinobi Shadow Squad (Cheeseburger, Eli Isom & Ryan Nova)

After the commercial, Isom was getting decimated by King with a running senton and a flipping back splash. Isom finally got a break and landed a suplex on King, allowing him to tag in Cheeseburger. Cheeseburger came in and landed a nice flying senton onto Scurll.

PCO came in and let Cheeseburger punch him. He then dragged Scurll to the corner and made his own tag. PCO stomped around waiting for Cheeseburger but missed a splash in the corner. Cheeseburger tagged out — and in came Nova. A big knee didn’t phase PCO. Cheeseburger jumped on the back of PCO and hooked on a sleeper, which also didn’t effect him.

Finally, the Shadow Squad were able to break free. They all went for dives, but all three were caught and took chokeslams for their efforts. Nova was left alone in the ring. He ate a buckle bomb, a gonzo bomb, and a PCO moonsault. That allowed Villain Enterprises to pick up the win.

The show ended with words from Bully Ray. He was shown in front of a camp fire, spraying lighter fluid on it. Clips from Bully’s I Quit match against Flip Gordon from Final Battle aired, and Bully said that he never said “I quit.”

ROH TV results: Rush makes his debut

Eli Isom defeated Facade

This was the first match in a four-man mini tournament to decide the new number one contender to the TV title.

Facade used some flashy moves to evade Isom early, then connected with a leg lariat. He used a nice arm-trap submission into a pinning combination. Isom fired back with kicks and punches and a launching Northern Lights suplex to send Facade to the floor. Isom connected with a head-first dive to the outside.

Isom went for a pin out of a belly-to-back suplex. Facade fought back and used some kicks to send Isom to the outside. He then landed a step-up springboard 450 clothesline on Isom.

Back in the ring, Facade used a Burning Hammer, which he calls the Neon Ember. He nailed the Neon Terminator, which is a huge springboard kick across the ring, and went for the pin, but Isom kicked out at two.

Facade was frustrated, and that led to his demise as Isom was able to regain his composure and land a brainbuster suplex for the win.

Jay Lethal cut a promo on Matt Taven and said that Taven was a pretender, and that eventually their paths would cross.

The announcers recapped the debut of PCO and Brody King, who aligned with Marty Scurll to form Villain Enterprises.

Rush defeated TK O’Ryan

This was the debut of the newly-signed Rush. A sequence of amateur wrestling started the match, followed by a move-for-move back-and-forth that ended in a missed dropkick by both. This led to a violent striking exchange. O’Ryan cut him off and the fight spilled outside.

Back in the ring, O’Ryan went to work on the CMLL star. O’Ryan chopped him furiously, but Rush used a superkick to get the momentum.

After the break, another vicious chop exchange was taking place. Rush ran at him in the corner but instead used a fake-out and a stomp to blast O’Ryan.

Rush used an overhead suplex and threw O’Ryan into the corner. O’Ryan caught Rush while running with a beautifully-timed spinebuster. He went for a tornado DDT, but Rush instead used a headbutt to lift up O’Ryan for a huge superplex.

Rush turned it on and smashed O’Ryan with a running dropkick in the corner, which was enough to get Rush the pin.

After the match, Vinny Marseglia appeared from under the ring with Taven and they used a three-man conchairto to the head of Rush.

Silas Young defeated Beer City Bruiser in a no DQ match

Rhett Titus joined Ian Riccaboni, Colt Cabana, and Caprice Coleman on commentary. He said he was appalled by Bruiser’s body.

This was the second match in the mini-tournament. Before the match, Bruiser said he was sick of Young insulting him and wanted to make it a no DQ match. Young accepted.

It was a game of cat-and-mouse with Young chasing Bruiser around early. They made their way to the outside and Bruiser positioned Young seated in a chair. He then went to the apron and performed a running flip dive off the apron onto Young.

After the break, Young was attacking the legs of Bruiser. He connected with an Anarchist suplex on the big man, and then went to retrieve a table. He set up the table in the corner, which backfired as Bruiser managed to land another running flip attack, driving Young through the table. Young managed to kick out at 2.5.

The fight continued out on the floor, where Bruiser again placed Young across two chairs and went up to the top turnbuckle. Young revived himself and cut off Bruiser. A battle on the top rope ended with Bruiser hip tossing Young off the top turnbuckle into the ring.

For a third time, Bruiser laid Young across some chairs and went up top. This time, Young scurried up to his feet and slammed Bruiser off the turnbuckle through the chairs. That only earned Young a two count, so out of frustration he went under the ring to get zip-ties. Young zip-tied the big man to the top rope and began waffling him with chair shots until Brian Milonas ran out for the save.

Milonas laid out Young and cut Bruiser loose. Milonas was attempting a seated splash when Young popped up and shoved him over the top rope and through the second table that had been set up earlier on the floor.

Bruiser laid a chair across the chest of Young and dropped a big elbow onto him. Bruiser set up a third table and laid out Young on it and again went up top. Bruiser went for a splash, but Young moved and Bruiser crashed through the table. Young followed that up with his finisher, Misery, which was finally enough to keep Bruiser down for the three count.

Young will be facing Eli Isom in two weeks in the tournament finals to determine a number one contender for Jeff Cobb’s TV title.

ROH TV results: PCO & Brody King debut, ZSJ vs. Tracy Williams

Zach Sabre Jr. defeated Tracy Williams

As expected, this match began with some unique chain wrestling. Williams stomped the ankles of Sabre and went to work on the legs. Sabre used a nice roll out and a cravat, but Williams countered the counter into a pin attempt. Sabre caught the leg of Williams, but Williams escaped with an arm lock. A standoff led into the commercial break.

For a moment, Williams took control and landed a Death Valley Driver that earned him a near fall. He followed that up with a couple of strong forearm strikes, kicks, and chops. Sabre was able to counter into a calf slicer. Sabre left his arm open — and again Williams escaped with an arm lock, which he used to transition into a Texas cloverleaf. Sabre then rolled him up to escape.

They had a back-and-forth chop exchange that earned Sabre the edge as he targeted Williams’ previously injured shoulder. Sabre hooked on his variation of the octopus, captured the wounded shoulder, and Williams had no choice but to submit.

Beer City Bruiser confronted Silas Young about their friendship ending. These two will square off next week.

ROH Tag Team Champions The Briscoes said that SoCal Uncensored would not be happy about invoking their rematch clause.

Dr. Britt Baker & Madison Rayne defeated Twisted Sisterz (Thunder Rosa & Holidead)

Rayne started it off with Holidead and managed a few roll-ups before tagging out. Baker came in and landed a slingblade on Holidead. The Sisterz took over with a back drop suplex splash.

After the break, Baker used a superkick to get the hot tag to Rayne. Rosa cut her off immediately — but her showboating caught up with her as Rayne landed a cutter out of nowhere. A double-team move by the Sisterz left Baker alone with both of them. Another double-team attempt backfired, which allowed Baker to hit a pumphandle fallaway slam on Rosa for the win.

ROH Tag Team Champions The Briscoes defeated SoCal Uncensored (Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian) to retain their titles

Before the bell, SCU began launching chairs at the Briscoes, just as the Briscoes had done to them in the past. The Briscoes finally got the upper hand on Sky. They used some patented Briscoe double-team moves until Sky was finally able to make a desperation tag to Kazarian, who came in with a head of steam.

Kazarian hit a combo DDT and stunner on both brothers. He dumped them to the outside, which allowed Sky to hit a massive running flip dive over the top rope to the floor. That sent us to the commercial break.

Upon return, the Briscoes were working over the neck of Kazarian. Jay effectively used his striking — but just as he thought he had control, Kazarian floated over and dropped Jay with a lungblower that gave Sky the opportunity to hit an outside-in slingshot cutter. Kazarian went for the pin, but Jay kicked out at two.

Sky tagged in. SCU went for a double-team move, but Mark grabbed the legs of Kazarian. The Briscoes fought back, but it was short lived as Kazarian managed to use a slingshot on Mark into a cutter. SCU attempted to put away the Briscoes with an assisted tornado DDT on Jay, but he kicked out at two again.

The referee was distracted trying to get Sky out of the ring, which created enough of a distraction for Jay to rake the eyes of Kazarian and for Mark to throw in a chair. Neither team was able to use the chair, so the match continued. SCU seemingly had won the titles back with a combination lungblower and uranage, but Mark pulled the referee out just as he was about to count to three.

Kazarian went after Mark with a slingshot hurricanrana that connected — but it also took out the referee. Jay, seeing that the referee was down, grabbed the chair and waffled Sky in the back. For good measure, Mark tattooed Kazarian with a chair as well.

It looked like it was all over for SCU as the Briscoes set up for the Doomsday Device, but Sky had recovered enough to get back in the ring and use another leaping hurricanrana just as Kazarian rolled through with a victory roll. The crowd counted to three — but there was no referee to make it official. A second referee came down, with Jay kicking out.

Jay regained control and used a Jay Driller to end Sky’s night. The Briscoes landed their superplex and froggy elbow combo, but Kazarian kicked out. Kazarian fought back valiantly, but the Briscoes made him pay with the Redneck Boogey. Mark held Kazarian’s shoulders down for the three count.

After the main event, Marty Scurll was in the ring and was about to address the parting of The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, and Hangman Page, but The Kingdom came down. Just as they were about to jump Scurll, the lights went out. When they came on, Brody King was in the ring standing next to Scurll.

The lights went out again and lightning flashed on the screen. This time, the lights came on to reveal that PCO was now also in the ring. King hit a sit-down piledriver on Vinny Marseglia. PCO then went to the top turnbuckle and hit a moonsault onto all three members of The Kingdom. Scurll, King, and PCO stood tall as Scurll announced the name of their faction is Villain Enterprises.

ROH TV results: Four corner survival to decide next title challenger

Ian Riccaboni was in the ring to kick off the first episode of 2019. He had four wrestlers in the ring with him, all of whom have earned a ROH World Championship match.

The first man, Chris Sabin, took ROH World Champion Jay Lethal to a time limit draw in a proving ground match. The next wrestler, Flip Gordon, won the Sea of Honor tournament to earn his shot. After that was Marty Scurll, who won Survival of the Fittest and a chance to challenge for the title. Finally, there was Dalton Castle, who had a contractually obligated rematch after being bested by Lethal.

Riccaboni then called out Lethal, but Matt Taven came out instead. Taven said that he in fact did retain his “real” World title at Final Battle. Then he proceeded to run down all four men saying that none were worthy.

Lethal was in the house and had heard enough smack talk. He came down to confront Taven. The two got into a brawl that ended when the referees and officials separated them.

ROH Television Champion Jeff Cobb defeated Luchasaurus in a proving ground match

Luchasaurus got the early advantage with a spinning heel kick that put Cobb down for a near fall. His edge didn’t last long as Cobb caught him in mid-air and launched him with a suplex. Cobb then took the half-man/half-dinosaur to the top rope and launched him with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex, which he followed up with a standing moonsault. Luchasaurus kicked out at two.

Not to be outdone, Luchasaurus fought back and landed a standing moonsault of his own. Luchasaurus tried some other lucha style offense — but it was to no avail as Cobb again caught him and connected with the Tour of the Islands for the the win.

Women of Honor World Champion Kelly Klein defeated Nikki Addams to retain her title

Addams was already in the ring as Klein made her way down. Klein got on the microphone and announced that she would be a fighting champion in 2019 and that every one of her singles matches would be a title bout.

Instead of following the Code of Honor, Addams punched Klein in the mouth and went right after her. Klein used her experience to keep her foe at bay. Addams was able to get in some offense, which included a running chop, but Klein was too savvy for her. Ultimately, it was Klein who got the pin after a knee strike that knocked out Addams.

After the match, Jenny Rose came out to remind Klein that the two of them have some unfinished business. They’ll be facing each other in a title match, but Rose wanted to add a stipulation to it, making it a street fight. Klein accepted — and so it will be a “Concord Street Fight” for the WOH Championship at Honor Reigns Supreme this Sunday.

Brian Milonas found Beer City Bruiser drinking and told him that it was time to move past the betrayal by Silas Young.

Christopher Daniels came to the ring dressed in a suit. He said he was there to say goodbye. He recalled his first match in the main event of the first ROH show, which was a 60-minute Iron Man match between himself, Low Ki, and Bryan Danielson. He thanked everyone, and with a tear in his eye, he said goodbye.

Joe Koff then came out and said that the two of them have had their differences, but due to Daniels being selfless when he defended Cary Silkin at Final Battle, his feelings for Daniels have changed. Because of Daniels’ courage, Koff offered him a contract for 2019.

As Koff was presenting Daniels with the new contract, Shane Taylor jumped the barricade and laid out Daniels. He tossed him around, slammed him into the ring post, and went after him with a folding chair. To finish him off, Taylor gave Daniels a Greetings from the 216 on top of the chair, then tore up the contract.

Dalton Castle defeated Chris Sabin, Marty Scurll, and Flip Gordon in a four corner survival match to earn the first title shot

Lethal joined Colt Cabana and Riccaboni on commentary for the main event.

Gordon and Sabin hit tandem dives onto Castle and Scurll. Sabin followed it up with a big missile dropkick. Gordon also landed one on Castle. The two of them then shook hands, seemingly forming an alliance. Their grappling cooperative didn’t last long as both men inevitably attacked each other.

After the break, Scurll and Gordon were in a heated chop exchange. There was a unique multi-man submission hold involving everyone. Scurll was using a toe hold on Gordon, Castle was using a chinlock on Gordon, and Sabin used an abdominal stretch on Scurll.

Scurll, Gordon, and Castle were fighting, and that allowed Sabin to go up top and land a crossbody. Sabin then hit a running tornado DDT, kicking off of his opponents. That put everyone down again. However, Castle caught him with a slam.

Next, Castle ran into Gordon, who cut him off. Gordon did a reverse fireman’s carry slam onto Castle and used the momentum to pop to his feet. Sabin got back in and thought he had Gordon with a top rope hurricanrana, but again Gordon landed on his feet.

Scurll caught Gordon from the outside, but Sabin landed a Scurll-esque kick. Sabin turned around right into Castle, who hit the Bang-A-Rang on Sabin to get the win. Castle will get his title shot against Lethal at Honor Reigns Supreme this Sunday.

ROH TV results: Christmas Surprise 10-man tag match

The show opened with Jay Lethal announcing that tonight would be the annual Christmas Surprise 10-man tag team match. He and Matt Taven will each open gifts throughout the show and each gift will contain the name of a wrestler to join their team.

Lethal was thrilled to be opening gifts, and Taven was rather displeased that he could end up with “melvins” on his team.

Ian Riccaboni, Colt Cabana, and Caprice Coleman called the action from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This episode was taped on November 3.

The Twisted Sisterz (Holidead & Thunder Rosa) defeated Dr. Britt Baker & Madison Rayne

This one started off hot as Baker nailed a superkick and Rayne followed it up with a dive onto both of their opponents on the outside.

Back inside, Holidead planted Rayne with a sit-down facebuster slam and tagged in Rosa. They teamed up for an assisted senton drop on Rayne, which earned Rosa a two count. The Sisterz kept up the assault throughout the commercial break. Finally, Rayne hit a jawbreaker to make the tag. Baker came in and delivered slingblades to both Holidead and Rosa.

The Sisterz hit Celebrity Rehab on Baker and nearly ended the match, but Rayne broke it up. She landed a split-leg dropkick, but Rosa cut her off with a cradle driver. The Sisterz hit another driver and followed up with a double stomp off the top onto Baker for the win.

Lethal and Taven were shown opening gifts. Lethal was happy with his partners and Taven was not. After the break, Lethal was bummed about not drawing Cheeseburger, but then Coleman showed up and gave him a secret gift. Inside, it was the name “Cheeseburger.” Lethal was elated.

Christmas Surprise 10-man tag team match: Jay Lethal, Cheeseburger, Rhett Titus, Vinny Marseglia & Jeff Cobb defeated Matt Taven, Brian Milonas, Jonathan Gresham, Beer City Bruiser & Marty Scurll

There was a lot of dissension among both teams before the match began, primarily based on who was wearing the sillier Christmas outfit. Lethal and Gresham, who have recently been partners, started it off with some fancy chain wrestling.

Gresham tagged to Bruiser. Lethal lit him up with chops. Cheeseburger was then tagged in by Lethal. Bruiser tagged in Taven, who immediately tagged out to Milonas. This left the smallest man in the ring paired with the largest.

Cheeseburger snatched a side headlock and Milonas lifted him up with one arm. Cheeseburger then used his speed to make Milonas chase him until he ran out of gas and collapsed. Titus jumped in the ring and didn’t even bother to tag Cheeseburger. The two of them decided to have a go at suplexing the big man, but that failed.

After a five-man suplex, Marseglia got in with an ax and Scurll squared up with a candy cane, then switched to a real cane. Scurll tagged Taven so the two Kingdom members would have to face each other. Marseglia went to tag out as instructed by Taven, but as he went to make a tag, his team jumped off the apron. Taven’s team followed suit.

Taven and Marseglia did a criss-cross spot until they slid out and started a brawl with everyone on the outside. It was chaos. Nine of the ten men gathered to brawl, which allowed Bruiser to hit a dive off the top turnbuckle onto everyone.

After the commercial, Lethal launched everyone out of the corner one at a time to connect with big splashes on Taven. All of Lethal’s team members hit a big move and all went for the cover on Taven, but Gresham broke it up. A parade of finishers were exchanged by each team, leading to Cobb tagging himself in leaving him alone with Milonas, even though Bruiser was the legal man.

Incredibly, Cobb managed to heave Milonas up for a pumphandle suplex and tossed him overhead. He gave Bruiser an impressive Tour of the Islands, earning Lethal’s team the win.

ROH TV results: Final Battle go-home show

The show opened with a recap of last week’s announcement by Christopher Daniels that Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky had new contracts, but that he did not. His last match on his current contract will be at Final Battle against Marty Scurll, and should he lose, he will be out of the company. Scurll’s future ROH World Championship shot will be on the line.

Before a match between them, Flip Gordon challenged Silas Young to man up and make it an I Quit match. Young booted Gordon and started the pummeling immediately, then grabbed the microphone and declared that he accepts.

Flip Gordon and Silas Young went to a no contest in an I Quit match

It was an intense game of cat and mouse as Young chased Gordon, but Gordon had the speed edge and out-maneuvered him. Gordon landed a moonsault to the floor on Young to gain control.

After the break, Gordon pulled a table out and set it up in the corner. As he went to get his opponent, Young tossed a chair at him and gained the advantage.

Young continued to beat Gordon with a chair inside the ring. Young landed the Anarchist suplex and applied a full-nelson stretch, but Gordon fought out and landed a superkick. Gordon then missed with a dive. That gave Young the opportunity to grab a Singapore cane.

Seeing the cane fired up Gordon. He cut off Young with a chair, laid waste to Young, and picked up the cane himself. This brought Bully Ray down. Bully choked Gordon with a chain. Young speared the helpless Gordon through a table. The match was thrown out by the referee due to interference.

A preview for ROH Television Champion Jeff Cobb vs. Hangman Page at Final Battle aired. Page called Cobb’s run in ROH so far a disappointment.

ROH Tag Team Champions Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky, representing SoCal Uncensored, came to the ring. Sky got the microphone and — just as he was about to say Pittsburgh was the worst town he’s ever been in — they were jumped from behind by The Briscoes.

The Young Bucks came down to cut off The Briscoes and save SCU. They exchanged a respectful handshake, but as the Bucks turned away, The Briscoes shoved SCU into them. The Bucks returned the favor with superkicks on both teams. They then pulled a ladder out from under the ring, but before they could set it up, Kazarian dropkicked it into the Bucks and Sky landed a flip dive on The Briscoes. SCU stood tall on the ladder holding their belts to end the segment.

Daniels discussed his last opportunity to claim a contract with ROH. He must defeat Scurll at Final Battle, and should he be successful, he will not only win a title shot down the line, but he will also gain a new lease on life with a new ROH contract.

ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, Cody Rhodes & Dalton Castle defeated The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia & TK O’Ryan)

Castle is returning from his “concussion-like symptoms” after he received a three-man con-chair-to by The Kingdom a few weeks ago.

This one started quickly as The Kingdom triple teamed Castle and Cody and Lethal bickered. Castle fought off The Kingdom while wearing his amazing “ugly” purple sweatshirt. He tagged in Cody, and Cody took over on O’Ryan.

Taven had seen enough and got involved. He took over and led the charge on Cody. He tagged in O’Ryan — who tossed Cody down by the hair. Cody swung the momentum with a powerslam and tagged in Castle. Castle came in with a fury. The Kingdom cut him off and put a hurting on him on the outside as the referee was distracted.

Marseglia got in with Castle and kept The Kingdom in control. He tagged in Taven — who antagonized Lethal. Castle finally fought back and tagged in Lethal.

Lethal ran wild until the numbers game caught up with him. Taven got a chair involved and looked to connect with a con-chair-to, but Castle came in and went after Taven. Both spilled into the crowd as Castle chased Taven. That left Lethal and Cody in against Marseglia and O’Ryan.

Lethal and Cody couldn’t work together and it looked like Cody was about to fall victim to The Kingdom, but Lethal made the save and that allowed Cody to land the Cross Rhodes on O’Ryan for the win.

ROH TV results: SCU defend their titles

Marty Scurll joined Ian Riccaboni and Colt Cabana at the announce table.

Kenny King defeated Christopher Daniels

Before the match, King took the microphone and made fun of Daniels for being old.

Daniels started off the match with a springboard moonsault for a two count. Daniels worked King over for a while — until King managed to land a leg sweep to knock Daniels off the ring apron.

After the break, King was firmly in control. However, Daniels landed a Blue Thunder Bomb and went back on the offensive. King countered with a spinebuster and unsuccessfully used the ropes for leverage on the pin. King then used a low blow when the referee’s back was turned, which allowed him to hit the Royal Flush on Daniels for the win.

Dalton Castle reminded us that he was out for a long time and is hungry to get revenge on Matt Taven at Final Battle.

ROH Television Champion Jeff Cobb defeated Josh Woods in a non-title match

The match started off with a grappling exchange. Meanwhile, Hangman Page came out with a chair to watch from the stage. Woods went for a takedown and followed it up with an armbar attempt. Woods maintained top control with a wristlock. Page looked bored.

Cobb powered to his feet and used an arm throw to set up a capture suplex, but he missed with a running hip attack and that set up a hip throw by Woods. Woods again went for an armbar. Cobb elevated him and tossed him into the turnbuckle.

Woods went for a springboard DDT, but Cobb caught him in mid-air and landed the Tour of the Islands for the three count.

Not to be outdone, Page came to the ring and announced that he himself would be competing immediately against Facade.

Hangman Page defeated Facade

After the break, Cobb was seated in the chair on the stage — and Page was putting a hurting on Facade. Page connected with his running Shooting Star Press off the apron. He landed a bridging fallaway slam for a two count.

Unlike Woods, Facade got in a bit of aerial offense until Page connected with a huge boot to the face. Facade used a springboard 450 double ax handle, but that didn’t matter as Page hit the shotgun clothesline and the Rite of Passage to earn the victory. This brought Cobb back to the ring and the two Final Battle opponents faced off.

A replay of the finish of Scurll’s win over Christopher Daniels to win Survival of the Fittest was shown. Apparently, after that match, Daniels and Scurll had a discussion backstage. Daniels said it was the Bullet Club that won, not Scurll. Daniels bated Scurll into putting his title shot on the line against him at Final Battle.

Taven and TK O’Ryan were backstage talking trash on Jay Lethal.

ROH Tag Team Champions SoCal Uncensored (Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) defeated Guerrero Maya Jr. & Stuka Jr. to retain their titles

Sky was dressed like Apollo Creed before he faced Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. Frankie Kazarian appeared to be wearing a Cobra Kai outfit from the Karate Kid.

Some unique offense started it off as Maya and Stuka used a double surfboard on Kazarian and followed it up with a full body twist. Sky finally made the tag and lured Maya in for a headscissors. He then hit a double stomp on Stuka. However, Stuka used a spinebuster on Sky and a moonsault to Kazarian on the outside. The pace really picked up and Maya hit a flipping tope through the ropes to wipe out Sky.

Back in the ring, Sky and Kazarian used a combination uranage and backstabber, which they call the “Burning Heart,” on Stuka for the win and the successful title defense.

After the match, Daniels came to the ring with a microphone. He reminded us that Sky and Kazarian had earned new contracts by winning the ROH Tag Team titles, but he did not. He then announced that he would be facing Scurll for Scurll’s future title shot.

Scurll came to the ring and took the microphone. He talked about all that Daniels had accomplished in ROH, but then said that this would be Daniels’ final battle.

ROH TV results: The Young Bucks vs. The Briscoes

– A recap of the Tag Team title change from last week where SoCal Uncensored (Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian) defeated The Briscoes and The Young Bucks aired.

The Kingdom (Matt Taven & TK O’Ryan) defeated The Boys

Colt Cabana and Ian Riccaboni reminded us that The Kingdom laid out Dalton Castle with a three-man con-chair-to last week.

Before the match, Taven got on the mic and sent O’Ryan to the announce booth and said he could do this alone. He cheap-shotted The Boys to get the early advantage. Taven dominated until The Boys were able to fight back and land a double dive. However, the red balloons appeared and Vinny Marseglia emerged from under the ring to grab Boy One and pull him under. This left Taven alone to hit the Climax spike DDT on Boy Two for the win.

– Cody Rhodes talked about his upcoming match for the ROH World Championship against Jay Lethal at Final Battle.

– Riccaboni was in the ring and called out Jonathan Gresham to be interviewed. Riccaboni asked who he would be challenging at Final Battle. Gresham issued an open challenge to anyone who thinks they are the best technical wrestler in the world. Appearing immediately on the video screen was Zack Sabre Jr., who accepted the challenge.

Gresham responded by saying he would tap out Sabre.

– SoCal Uncensored were backstage. Christopher Daniels, who was wearing a neck brace, was on the phone with Joe Koff, and when he hung up he alerted Sky and Kazarian that they had been awarded contracts. Unfortunately, Daniels was not given a contract since he is not one of the Tag Team Champions. Daniels said he’d figure something out.

Kelly Klein defeated Jenny Rose in a Final Battle qualifying match

Klein got in Rose’s face immediately and took over with some brutal knees. Rose finally came back with a spear and some nasty slaps to the back of the head. Klein landed a cheap elbow, which allowed her to land the K-Power driver on Rose for the win.

Women of Honor World Champion Sumie Sakai had been watching from ringside and did not look to be impressed. She’ll defend her title against Klein, Madison Rayne, and Karen Q in a four corner survival match at Final Battle.

The Young Bucks vs. The Briscoes ended in a double DQ

Mark Briscoe and Nick Jackson started it off. They wrestled to a standoff, but Jay Briscoe came in without a tag and the double-team cheating began. Matt Jackson followed suit and landed a double dropkick. The Young Bucks used a hanging draping neckbreaker combined with a slingshot elbow to get the advantage.

After the break, The Briscoes were firmly in control as Mark worked over Matt. Matt evaded an attack and connected with a double clothesline. Matt tagged in Nick — who came in fired up. The Bucks hooked on a double Sharpshooters as the crowd chanted “tap.” Nick tagged Matt back in — which may have been a mistake as Mark laid waste to both Bucks. Jay got in and used the Sharpshooter on Matt in retaliation.

All four men ended up in the ring and exchanged strikes. The Bucks hit the ropes and each ate a superkick before immediately firing back with superkicks of their own. It looked like the Bucks were going for the Meltzer Driver, but Jay threw in two chairs. Jay grabbed one — as did Matt. Jay launched his at Nick as Matt launched his at Mark. Referee Todd Sinclair had no choice but to disqualify both teams.

The match was over — but the fighting continued. It was an all-out brawl for a few minutes until security finally made their way to the ring to separate the teams. Just as it was seemingly calmed down, SoCal Uncensored’s music hit and Sky and Kazarian came out.

Kazarian said that since there was no winner, they’d be happy to defend the ROH World Tag Team titles against both teams in a Ladder War match at Final Battle.
