Eddie Guerrero’s daughter Sherilyn gives update on wrestling debut timeline

Sherilyn Guerrero — the daughter of late wrestling legend Eddie Guerrero — is gearing up to make her in-ring debut.

While being interviewed by The Magic of Wrestling, the 30-year-old Guerrero discussed training with Booker T as she aims to enter the ring. An ankle injury briefly set Guerrero back, but she’s back training and has found it to be an encouraging environment.

“I started training in around October, actually, and it was really cool. I got an ankle sprain in December so I had to sit out for a bit and then just start it back,” she said. “Something about recovery helps you kind of recalibrate your intention and things with this. And oh man, training is just different now. Coming back into it and the coaches I have, they’re so great in the ring and out the ring.

“I hope that they all get that light they deserve because Booker has some really great people teaching their students and I’m so lucky. It absolutely is one of the greatest. Yeah, they have great people there. The coaches are great, they pour into their students in and out the ring. I don’t think anyone is scared to go to their coaches, everyone feels comfortable asking questions and trying things again because the coaches make it comfortable. And that’s so important.”

Guerrero anticipates her first match will happen before the end of 2026.

“Who knows? Definitely a debut this year for something,” she responded when asked about the timeline for her debut.

Reality of Wrestling, Booker T’s school where Guerrero is training, is a WWE ID-affiliated school. Current WWE Raw star Roxanne Perez is among the wrestlers the school has produced.

In addition to starting wrestling training, Guerrero has a YouTube channel where she posts vlogs. She recently interviewed Mick Foley about his memories of her father Eddie.

WWE NXT star announced for Reality of Wrestling event

Ricky Saints is headed to Reality of Wrestling.

The promotion announced on social media Friday that Saints will appear at their December 20 show in Texas City.

“Additional tickets have just been added — and for good reason…@WWENXT Superstar @starkmanjones is making a special guest appearance this Saturday at the Walker Texas Lawyer Arena! What’s going to happen when “Absolute” Ricky Saints arrives in Reality of Wrestling? Be there to witness it LIVE!,” they wrote.

This would mark the first independent show Saints has appeared on since signing with WWE earlier this year. The former NXT Champion is fresh off a heel turn, costing Je’Von Evans the NXT Championship after pulling the referee out of the ring during Evans’ match against Oba Femi. The two will now meet on the December 30 edition of NXT after they brawled on this past Tuesday’s show.

Earlier this year, Natalya (billed under her new alter-ego Nattie) wrestled Promise Braxton in a match that headlined a Reality of Wrestling event that took place back in June.

Eddie Guerrero’s daughter Sherilyn begins wrestling training

A daughter of the late WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero has begun training for a pro wrestling career.

30-year-old Sherilyn Guerrero, the second daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero, has been announced as the newest member of Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling training school in Texas in a new social media post.

ROW posted:

The daughter of the legendary Eddie Guerrero now begins her own journey into the world of professional wrestling. Welcome the newest member of the Reality of Wrestling Training School — @TheSherilynG

Sherilyn wrote on social media:

Thank you everyone for all of the support, I knew waiting till the time was right was the best thing for me & here we are!! Fueled by fire & following this legacy with love… let’s get this journey man! VIVA LA RAZA

Sherilyn’s older sister Shaul was signed to WWE in two separate developmental stints from 2010 to 2014 in Florida Championship Wrestling and NXT, but never made the main WWE roster.

Sherilyn made news in 2023 when she accused her stepfather of sexual assault, a claim denied by Vickie and Kris Benson who then threatened legal action against her.

Natalya to headline event for Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling

WWE star Natalya is officially set to headline an event for Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling this weekend.

After already announcing that she would be wrestling at the show, Reality of Wrestling has confirmed that Natalya vs. Promise Braxton will be the main event of their all-women’s Heart and Soul card this Saturday (June 28). The announcement comes after an exchange between the two wrestlers on social media.

Natalya is being billed as “Nattie” for the match, which was also the case for the recent non-WWE appearances she made for Bloodsport and the NWA. It’s a more aggressive side of her character than she usually shows in WWE.

Yesterday, Natalya cut a social media promo responding to Braxton after Braxton called her washed up.

“You want to say that I’m washed? I’m going to remember those words, Promise, when I’m choking out your tired lifeless body,” she said. “Because usually I only train little bitches like you in my Dungeon. But on June 28, I’m going to teach you the toughest lesson of them all: Natalya elevates, and Nattie decimates.”

Natalya signed a new multi-year contract with WWE last year but has been allowed to make some select appearances outside of the company. Despite being a veteran, she’s hungry to still prove herself and isn’t content with just taking a paycheck.

Braxton is a former champion for Reality of Wrestling, holding their Diamonds Championship twice.

Reality of Wrestling is one of the training schools that WWE has partnered with for their WWE ID talent development program. This Saturday, Reality of Wrestling is holding two shows in Texas City, Texas with Heart and Soul being the second half of the doubleheader.

Booker T defeats Zilla Fatu at Reality of Wrestling event

Booker T picked up his first win in almost six years this weekend, but he used underhanded tactics to do so.

Booker defeated Zilla Fatu at Saturday’s Reality of Wrestling Battle to the Bell event in Texas City, Texas. Several wrestlers, including TNA’s AJ Francis, interfered on Booker’s behalf before the 59-year-old hit Fatu with the Book End for the win. It was his first win since defeating Rex Andrews at an ROW event on January 12, 2019.

The event streamed live on the Title Match Network.

Fatu, son of the late Umaga and a member of the Anoa’i family trained under Booker T and debuted for Reality of Wrestling in July 2023. However, that September, Booker announced that Fatu would no longer appear at Reality of Wrestling events due to “irreconcilable differences.”

“I can’t tell you when you’re going to see Zilla again because he is now no longer a part of Reality of Wrestling due to irreconcilable differences, let’s just put it that way,” Booker said on his podcast. Fatu returned that March.

Fatu also wrestled in GCW for several months before the promotion announced he was no longer with them in September. Ahead of an event in Philadelphia, GCW wrote, “Zilla Fatu will not be appearing on tonite’s GCW event in Philadelphia or any GCW shows for the foreseeable future. We tried our best to avoid this situation, but we have reached an impasse. We wish him the best. Matt Tremont will now face SLADE tonight at #GCWAura in Philly.”

Fatu has also been wrestling with House of Glory in New York, where he is the current HOG Crown Jewel Champion.

Booker T to wrestle Zilla Fatu at upcoming Reality of Wrestling event

Booker T is wrestling once again.

The NXT announcer agreed to a match against Zilla Fatu for an upcoming Reality of Wrestling event on January 11. Footage from Sunday’s Breakout show saw Fatu confront Booker T, challenging him to a match for next month. After asking fans if they wanted to see the match, Booker T agreed, setting up his first match since a Royal Rumble appearance in 2023.

Prior to the Royal Rumble cameo, Booker T wrestled in a ten-man tag team match that took place in July of 2022 for ROW.

Fatu, the son of former WWE star Umaga and part of the Anoa’i family, was trained by Booker T and made his debut for Reality of Wrestling last year. After a brief departure, he made his return to the company where he has since held the promotion’s top title. Fatu also made appearances for GCW, but the promotion announced in September that he would no longer be appearing on their shows.

ROW announced on social media Sunday that they had broken their previous Sunday night attendance record.

WWE NXT’s Tatum Paxley, Kale Dixon to compete for Reality of Wrestling

Tatum Paxley is going to ROW.

It was announced that the NXT star will be heading to Reality of Wrestling on August 25 in Texas City, Texas as part of their untelevised Breakout event.

Kale Dixon, who has appeared on NXT Level Up, will also be making an appearance. He also appeared on an episode of Raw back in May, quickly losing to Bron Breakker.

“At 6’3” 220lbs @KaleDixonWWE has been turning a lot of heads down in Florida at the WWE Performance Center just like he did last year on ABC’s The Bachelorette and while playing baseball at University of South Alabama!,” ROW wrote on X.

Reality of Wrestling announced in July that NXT performers on Level Up would be appearing on their Breakout events moving forward. The events are free to attend and feature ROW talent taking on training school students.

Other talents that have appeared at Reality of Wrestling events include Roxanne Perez, Lexis King, Trick Williams, Ivy Nile, Axiom, and Charlie Dempsey.

WWE NXT Level Up talent to compete for Reality of Wrestling

Some of NXT’s up-and-coming wrestlers are set to get some in-ring experience outside of the WWE system.

Reality of Wrestling — an indie promotion and wrestling school run by Booker T — has announced that NXT Level Up talent will be featured on their Breakout shows going forward. The Breakout events are free-to-attend untelevised shows that have pitted Reality of Wrestling wrestlers against training school students.

NXT Level Up is a weekly show that’s taped before NXT on Tuesdays and airs on Peacock on Fridays. It largely exists as a vehicle for Performance Center recruits to have matches before they’re ready for NXT television.

Booker T is a commentator for NXT, calling the show alongside Vic Joseph. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer has sporadically featured NXT wrestlers on his Reality of Wrestling shows since February 2023.

Current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez is among the former Reality of Wrestling trainees who have gone on to find success in pro wrestling.

Reality of Wrestling is located in Texas City, Texas. The Breakout events are held at Walker Texas Lawyer Arena.

WWE NXT star Lexis King to appear for Reality of Wrestling

WWE NXT star Lexis King will wrestle on a Reality of Wrestling independent show next month.

Reality of Wrestling, a Texas indie promotion run by Booker T, announced on Thursday that King will be in action on their Saturday, May 11 No Limits event.

Booker T himself made the announcement in a social media post:

No Limits will be held in Texas City, Texas at the Walker Texas Lawyer Arena.

In addition to his work as a WWE NXT commentator, Hall of Famer Booker T operates the Reality of Wrestling promotion and training school where talent such as NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez got their start.

King joins Perez, Ivy Nile, Trick Williams, Axiom, and Charlie Dempsey as NXT talent that have appeared for Reality of Wrestling since the group announced a partnership with NXT last February.

In his most recent program on NXT television, King defeated Von Wagner in the blow-off match on the April 2 WWE NXT show.

Prior to joining WWE NXT in 2023, King worked under the ring name of Brian Pillman, Jr. in AEW and on the independent scene. He is the son of the late Brian Pillman, though technically not a Jr. as the two have different middle names.

WWE NXT star Roxanne Perez to appear for Reality of Wrestling

WWE NXT star Roxanne Perez is returning to the place where her career first took off.

Reality of Wrestling has announced that Perez will appear at their Slamuary show in Texas City, Texas on Saturday, January 13. It’s being advertised as Perez returning home for one night only.

Perez was trained by Booker T at Reality of Wrestling and is a former champion for the promotion. She held Reality of Wrestling’s Diamond Divisions Championship in 2020.

Before signing with WWE in 2022, Perez wrestled as Rok-C on the indies and in Ring of Honor.

The 22-year-old Perez is a former NXT Women’s Champion and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion. At NXT Deadline earlier this month, she lost to Kiana James in a steel cage match. Izzi Dame aligned with James and cost Perez the match.

In addition to running Reality of Wrestling, Booker T works for WWE NXT as a commentator. WWE/NXT wrestlers Ivy Nile, Trick Williams, Axiom, and Charlie Dempsey have made appearances for Reality of Wrestling over the past year.

Slamuary is Reality of Wrestling’s first show of 2024.

Umaga’s son Zilla Fatu no longer with Reality of Wrestling

Zilla Fatu is no longer with Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling.

Booker cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason why the son of Umaga is gone from his promotion. He addressed Fatu’s departure on an episode of his Hall of Fame podcast recently.

“I can’t tell you when you’re going to see Zilla again because he is now no longer a part of Reality of Wrestling due to irreconcilable differences, let’s just put it that way,” Booker said.

“I’m sure he’s taking bookings out there on the internet and we wish Zilla well in his future,” Booker continued.

Fatu began training with ROW in December. He had his first match in front of a live crowd for the promotion on July 15. Shortly after his ROW debut, Booker praised Fatu’s performance, saying he could feel Umaga’s spirit in the arena that night.

In June, Fatu was asked to pick sides in WWE’s Bloodline angle. He declared that he was with “Team Jey.”

Two WWE NXT wrestlers set for Reality of Wrestling event

A pair of NXT wrestlers are coming to Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion later this month.

Reality of Wrestling has announced that Charlie Dempsey vs. Axiom will take place at their The Next Chapter event on Saturday, September 23. It’s being billed as an NXT showcase match.

Dempsey and Axiom are currently competing in NXT’s Global Heritage Invitational. They’re both in Group A of the round-robin tournament. Axiom has competed in one tournament match, going to a 12-minute time limit draw with Butch. Dempsey’s only tournament match so far was a loss to Butch.

The winner of the Global Heritage Invitational will challenge Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup at NXT No Mercy on Saturday, September 30.

Dempsey (Bailey Matthews) is the son of William Regal. Axiom formerly wrestled as A-Kid before adopting his current masked gimmick.

NXT wrestlers Ivy Nile and Trick Williams have also appeared at Reality of Wrestling shows this year.

The Next Chapter is taking place at 9300 Emmett F Lowry Expy in Texas City, Texas. It’s Reality of Wrestling’s first show at their new home venue.

Umaga’s son to make pro wrestling debut for Reality of Wrestling

Zilla Fatu, the son of former WWE star Umaga, will soon be making his pro wrestling debut.

Reality of Wrestling announced Fatu’s debut for their upcoming Summer of Champions event at the Humble Civic Center on July 15. It had been reported back in December of last year that Fatu had started to train with ROW, a promotion and training facility run by Booker T that runs shows in the Texas area.

Also scheduled for ROW’s Summer of Champions event include appearances from NXT’s Trick Williams, former WWE star Alicia Fox, and Jacob Fatu.

Umaga, who was part of the Anoa’i family along with with cousins The Usos and Roman Reigns, spent most of the 2000s in WWE, first under the name Jamal as part of the Three Minute Warning tag team with cousin Rosey and later as a singles star, where he won the Intercontinental title twice. He passed away in 2009 following a heart attack.

Former WWE wrestler Alicia Fox making pro wrestling return

Former WWE wrestler Alicia Fox is making her pro wrestling return.

Reality of Wrestling announced today that Fox (real name Victoria Crawford) will “return to the world of pro wrestling” at their Summer of Champions IX show next month. The event is being held in Humble, Texas on Saturday, July 15.

Fox hasn’t wrestled since the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match. It was revealed that she was no longer with WWE when she changed the names of her social media accounts earlier this year. Fox is now going by the name Vix Crow on social media.

Fox had been with WWE since 2006.

Reality of Wrestling, which is both a training school and promotion, is owned by Booker T. Last month, Booker T confirmed that he had spoken with Fox. Booker T said he was trying to get Fox in for the Summer of Champions event.

“I talked to Alicia Fox yesterday,” Booker T said. “She wants to come down and continue the saga and she just wanted to knock some of the [ring] rust off at Reality of Wrestling and get a little bit of insight and some knowledge as far as what this journey may be like that she’s getting ready to partake in.”

Reality of Wrestling has also announced that NXT’s Trick Williams will be appearing at Summer of Champions.

WWE NXT’s Trick Williams to appear for Reality of Wrestling

An NXT star is set to appear for Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling this summer.

Reality of Wrestling has announced that Trick Williams will appear at their Summer of Champions IX event on Saturday, July 15. The show is taking place at the Humble Civic Center & Arena Complex in Humble, Texas.

“@wwenxt superstar @trickwilliams_wwe is coming to Reality of Wrestling for the biggest event of the summer #SummerOfChampionsIX,” Reality of Wrestling announced. “Get your tickets now because the announcements [and] surprises are just getting started!!!!”

Reality of Wrestling, which operates out of Houston, is a wrestling school and promotion owned by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.

Booker T is also a commentator for NXT, calling the show every week alongside Vic Joseph.

NXT wrestler Ivy Nile competed at a show for Reality of Wrestling this February as well.

In NXT, Williams is aligned with NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. Williams helped Hayes win the title from Bron Breakker at NXT Stand & Deliver this April. That sparked a double turn with Hayes and Williams turning babyface and Breakker going heel.
