PWG Delivering the Goods results: Bandido vs. Daniel Garcia

Here are results from tonight’s PWG Delivering the Goods event, which took place at the Globe Theater in Los Angeles:

  • Jack Cartwheel defeated Shane Haste
  • Aussie Open (Kyle Davis and Kyle Fletcher) defeated World Class Wrecking Crew (Royce Issacs and Jorel Nelson). After the match, Aussie Open challenged PWG World Tag Team Champions Malakai Black and Brody King to a future match. The WCWC replaced The Briscoes, who pulled out of the show due to a family emergency.
  • Jonathan Gresham defeated Kevin Blackwood
  • Konosuke Takeshita defeated Aramis. After the match, the ring filled up with money.
  • Taurus defeated Blake Christian
  • Biff Busick defeated Speedball Mike Bailey. Busick came to the ring wearing a Super Dragon mask and was billed as Super Dragon. After the match, Busick took a shot at Dragon and said that he wanted a shot at the PWG Championship.
  • Daniel Garcia defeated Bandido to win the PWG Championship. After the match, Garcia challenged Konosuke Takeshita to a match at the next PWG event. Takeshita said he would be the next champion.

PWG reveals Delivering the Goods replacement for The Briscoes

PWG has revealed the substitutions for The Briscoes on Sunday’s Delivering the Goods event. 

Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs will sub for Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe in their scheduled match against Aussie Open. PWG made the announcement on Sunday. 

The Briscoes announced on Saturday that they would be unable to make their bookings this weekend due to a family medical emergency, as Mark’s wife was rushed to the hospital while suffering from complications related to her pregnancy. 

Nelson and Isaacs regularly team as the West Coast Wrecking Crew, and are also part of “Filthy” Tom Lawlor’s Team Filthy stable on NJPW Strong. 

Delivering the Goods takes place Sunday night at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles. 

Here is the revised lineup: 

  • PWG World Championship: Bandido (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
  • Biff Busick vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey
  • Blake Christian vs. Black Taurus
  • The Briscoe Brothers vs. Aussie Open

PWG announces new matches for Delivering the Goods

PWG has announced three new matches for their next show, Delivering the Goods, after several wrestlers were pulled from the show.

The company announced that JD Drake, Top Flight, and Wheeler Yuta will be unable to make the May 1 show. As a result, DDT’s Konosuke Takeshita will make his debut for the promotion, facing Aramis. Shane Haste, formerly Slapjack of WWE, will be making his return to face Jack Cartwheel. And the Briscoe Brothers will also be making their return to face Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher).

Biff Busick is also returning to the company, facing “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

Daniel Garcia, who won the Battle of Los Angeles tournament back in January, will be challenging PWG World Champion Bandido in the main event.

PWG announces full card for May 1 Delivering the Goods event

PWG has announced the full card for their May 1 Delivering the Goods show at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles. 

Headlining, Bandido will defend the PWG World title against 2022 Battle of Los Angeles winner Daniel Garcia. Garcia won this year’s BOLA on January 30, while Bandido has held the PWG World title since December 2019. 

Biff Busick will return to PWG at Delivering the Goods, facing “Speedball” Mike Bailey. In another singles bout, Blake Christian will take on Black Taurus. 

In tag team action, AEW’s Top Flight (Darius Martin & Dante Martin) will make their PWG debut, taking on Aussie Open’s Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher. 

ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will face Kevin Blackwood at the show. Aramis vs. ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta, plus Jack Cartwheel vs. JD Drake round out the card. 

Tickets for the show will go on sale Monday, April 11 at 8 p.m. Pacific time.
