Two more wrestlers qualify for WWE NXT Battleground ladder match

Two more spots have been filled for the six-pack ladder match to crown the inaugural WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion at Battleground.

Fallon Henley and Jaida Parker won their qualifying matches on Tuesday’s WWE NXT episode to advance to the six-pack ladder match set for Battleground on Sunday, June 9 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Henley defeated Thea Hail on Tuesday’s show to qualify, while Parker defeated Brinley Reece in her qualifying bout.

Parker and Henley join Lash Legend and Sol Ruca who qualified on last week’s show in the Battleground ladder match. Two spots remain open, with the final qualifying bouts set for next week’s WWE NXT episode. Kelani Jordan will face Wren Sinclair, plus Michin will take on Tatum Paxley in next week’s qualifiers.

Two wrestlers advance to WWE NXT Battleground ladder match

The first two competitors are set for the six-pack ladder match at WWE NXT Battleground to crown the inaugural Women’s North American Champion.

Lash Legend and Sol Ruca won their qualifying matches on Tuesday’s WWE NXT episode to advance to the title match at Battleground set for Sunday, June 9.

Legend scored a victory over Ivy Nile on Tuesday’s show, while Ruca defeated Izzi Dame to secure a spot at Battleground.

Qualifying matches will continue on next week’s show to determine two more participants for the Battleground ladder match, with Jaida Parker facing Brinley Reece, plus Thea Hail taking on Fallon Henley.

The 12 competitors competing in the qualifying bouts were determined by an NXT Combine that aired on last Tuesday’s episode.

A second bout was confirmed for Battleground on Tuesday’s show, with Men’s North American Champion Oba Femi set to defend his title against the winner of a triple threat number one contender’s match that will take place on next Tuesday’s WWE NXT show featuring Ivar vs. Josh Briggs vs. Wes Lee.

Battleground will stream live on Peacock/WWE Network on Sunday, June 9 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The current lineup for that show:

WWE announces date and location for NXT Battleground 2024

WWE is bringing an NXT premium live event to Savannah, Georgia this May.

It was announced today that NXT Battleground 2024 will take place from Enmarket Arena in Savannah on Sunday, May 26. The show will air live on Peacock/WWE Network.

NXT Battleground is the first of back-to-back nights at Enmarket Arena for WWE. The Monday, May 27 episode of Raw is also being held at the venue.

Combo tickets for Battleground and Raw are going on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Friday, February 2. WWE noted that details for individual event tickets will be revealed at a later date.

NXT Battleground will feature the biggest Superstars from NXT in action, including NXT Champion [Ilja] Dragunov, NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria, NXT North American Champion Oba Femi, NXT Tag Team Champions Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, and more. Additional ticket details will be announced at a later date.

This will be NXT’s third PLE of 2024. The first, Vengeance Day, is being held in Clarksville, Tennessee on Sunday, February 4. NXT Stand & Deliver will then take place from Philadelphia during WrestleMania weekend on the afternoon of Saturday, April 6.
